Clean, nice and confirtable.Good for the city visiting.
We had a lovely stay at Hotel de Capuleti and would recommend it to anyone. The location is just around the corner from the arena yet far enough from all the main touristy stuff that you get the feeling you're experiencing the real Verona. Our first concierge was very friendly and helpful, even recommended a fabulous restuarant (suggest booking in advance if you can) and gave us tips on where to go for evening entertainment (for young couples, the bar 'Porta Nuova' - just around the corner, on Porta Nuova - is the best inner city bar we found with decent music and a good hype. Sadly no dance floors). We upgraded to the superior double (room 516) which has a terrace and cool wooden detail incl. wood beamed ceilings. Definitely recommended. Super comfortable bed too. The church next door has a beautiful sounding choir on Sunday mornings :) We checked out right on 11am (one too many cocktails the night prior) but breakfast was until 10:30 only. The woman on front desk went out of her way and arranged for us to take fresh coffee and croissants in the lobby instead, which was a really nice touch. (note, there's a cute little cafe right next door that does a fab HOT cappuccino). What else? The water pressure was great! The toilet was a bit hard to flush, and room 516 is actually on the 1st floor so you can hear everything going on in the lobby - and they can probably hear everything going on in your room! Don't let this deter you though - we had a great stay and would stay again if we ever go back to Verona.
Good location, and good facilities generally. OK for one night Shower was small, would have prefered a bath. Was not given a non smoking room but the room was fresh. Breakfast room was very busy and crammed.
Staff assistance far above average room size, a bit small
Very clean and well located for the Arena. Room very small.
great location rooms very small in new wing
the location was great, close to all shopping, big bathroom, and one of the best breakfasts! Everything was good
the location is great just in the city, the room was big anc clean, just what you need.
Bathroom presents instalation errors at the : toylette cover, shower position
good locaion close to Juliet's grave. Easy walking distance to all of the sites. Parking wasn't easy.
Just by the train station; 10 minutes form Verona Center. Nice staff, even they didn's speak English, we had a perfect communication! Generally good.
The receptionist vas not very polite. Perhapse because we came around 10:00 in the evening. We had to pay the room immediatelly because we were leaving the place next morninig arround 07:00 a.m. Of course, he charged us the breakfast but we couldn't have it because they start with breakfast at arround 07:30 a.m. We couldn't get not even the coffe. The hotel is situated 10 metrrs from the railway. If you open the windows during the night you will probably stay awake all night.
every thing are very nice and fair. nice people, without any problems.
The hotelier gave us a warm feelinig like being at home
Very good staf^ helpful! Rooms excellent& clean very comfortable very big! Super breakfast! Free parking! big clean beautiful
Very nice room, spacious, very nice staff far from the city center
bathroom equipment and consumables poor; Showergel = empty Waste-bin = pedal mechanism not working
The room is a good size. The location is far from the city centre and the bus shuttle is not working frequently. We booked the hotel because it offers bus shuttle to the city centre but very disappointed with the timing of the schedule.
Durty room (carpets, bathroom not clean). Very noisy high way nearby.
transport service to opera
big, quiet hotel with modern comfortable room. everything was good
Very comfortable hotel and super staff who went out of their way to assist us and make our stay very enjoyable. Better travelers with autos as the location is on a super highway and a few kilometers from the center of the city
location, spaious rooms 4* hotel with slippers for a charge - very unusual, very expensive internet
Nice room, good food, friendly caring staff :) ... for a very good price!!! Transportation. (The website mentions a courtesy bus connecting the hotel and the city center, necessary since the hotel is located on the very outskirts of Verona. However, the bus only has 8 seats (!), and it is impossible to get on, as the hotel provides accommodation for hundreds, and there is no way to reserve seats beforehand.)
This is a 10!! The palce would deserve 4 stars- wonderfully decorated, great atmosphere -rooms are huge, beds so comfortable! Super helpful staff and the owner/manager even offered a drive to the airport which was really helpfull as due to current road closure it's a bit confusing. Absolutely fantastic restaurant - imaginative menu and a superb chef - I'd recommend this place even if you're not searching for a hotel close to the airport! Definitely my best hotel experience in Italy (in over 15 years)
This a very clean group of rooms (4) and a kitchenette. 2 community bathrooms and one private bathroom attached to the master bedroom. there are TVs in each room, but no common area to sit and talk. The kitchenette is a counter for your breakfast This is a walk-up apartment building with no sign out front. We had to call and the non-english speaking owner to put her husband on phone to explain where they were located. Trust the car's GPS,is a regular door on a side street.Ring the marked doorbell
Newly renovated bathroom, Pleasant helpful staff. Convenient location Loo seat very unstable!
The hotel is very conveniently situated between train station and town centre. It is traditional yet modern, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished with lots of attention to detail. Despite central location the room was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly. We had a wonderful time and hope to be back some time. Thank you!
I liked the athmosphere, the people - very kind and gentle and of course - the facilities. The rooms to the last floor are to warm and each of them needs air condition.
Very good family accommodation. Very nice staff. Good location between the station and the old city. Comfortable and spacious 'apartment' rooms. A little bit noisy, not the hotel's fault but just the traffic outside! Didn't bother us but may bother other guests.
Family run hotel. Quiet room (in our case). Convenient for station, but not very close to centre
Modern facilities in a traditional setting; very friendly and helpful staff room on the small side with limited storage for clothes
When we arrived we were greeted by a really friendly receptionist who then showed us to our room. The room was spotless and comfy. The breakfast was excellent value for money and again the lady who was serving breakfast was so nice. Good fresh coffee. We stayed in a suite at the back of the hotel which was really comfy and quite. Would stay here again. Thanks to the staff for a really nice weekend. x
It is nice like a home-stay hotel. And the reception can speak different languages :) Actually it is not in the downtown of Verona, gotta walk a bit. But it is nearby the railway station.
I most enjoyed the value of this hotel. The location was decent and the room was clean and comfortable.
Great location for centre of Verona plus railway station. Friendly, helpful staff, new refurbished rooms and nice breakfast. The aircom kept cutting out and it was boiling hot outside.
very good location if you wish to explore the city by foot, spaciouse and comfortable rooms and ofcourse, the main reason, the unique and atractive location within the Romeo and Juliet court yard with all the visitors as the constant background for the price, a little upgrade to the amenities would be welcomed: an English channel on TV, upgrade to the breakfast, etc.
Lovely rooms, excellent beds and bed linens perfect in town location, fantastic helpful staff. in room breakfast was a treat - they garaged our car in a close by secure garage . we very much enjoyed our stay. my kind of hotel. The zero cancellation refund policy is too restrictive and frankly unrealistic.
This hotel was all we hoped for - luxurious, in a perfect location, with attentive and helpful staff. The breakfast in the room was excellent. We would love to stay again.
The helpful receptionist. Excellent central position with lively street view. Attractive furnishings and comfortable room. over complicated touch pad lighting system and room safe locking system.
The friendliness of the staff. No iron, no bottle of wine, flowers etc on arrival as stated in the literature. Air con did not work very well. The fact that Booking.com had not informed the hotel operator of our arrival.
The staff was very kind and the locations is very central.
Courtesy of staff, nice room, great location Lack of any common facilities (understandable given size of hotel)
Staff was wonderful room perfect location unbeatable. We loved our stay.
The staff went out of their way to help me with every demand or question I had
Really unusual location right in the heart of Verona with the entrance in the corner of the courtyard of the Casa di Giulietta (Juliet's house). If you arrive in the daytime, you will need to fight through the crowd taking pictures of the famous balcony. Once inside, it is a haven of peace and calm. Beautifully appointed and with a wonderfully attentive staff. It's expensive but a great treat in the very heart of Verona.
The owner was extremely helpful and even drove us to the train station! The room was so cute and very clean. We were provided with anything we could need. Breakfast was brought to our room and it was delicious! I wish we could stay there longer! It is a bit out of town and not many buses head there so taxi ended up being an expensive option. I would recommend staying there for more than one night as we did.
The hotel has a super location and the staff were very helpful.
n/a No Air conditioning, extremely uncomfortable because of this.No food available on arrival in the afternoon.Would you like some toast sir!!! 5 Star hotel, definately not, needs new A/C UNIT fitting which works whether the weather outside is warm or not!!!!
A 5 star hotel in the city center! Beautiful old palace!
Impressive entrance and main lobby, one of a kind. Not appropriate breakfast room/feels really average to have breakfast there.... brakfast, small room
The hotel staff were very polite. I have asked for a smoking room and I got a non-smoking room.
Location and service. Rooms need a face lift..... but service made up for it.
Beautiful hotel, excellent location, BUT lacks atmosphere due to it being so empty whilst there. I don't know the reason for this, but I wanted to eat in the great setting for a restaurant, but didn't see 1 person use it in the time we were there. The empty restaurant!
Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful and they all spoke English! The food was great in the hotel and it was situated close to all the sights and shopping. Our room was excellent with beautiful furnishings and they gave us complimentary champagne and fruit for our anniversary! Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
We stayed at the hotel for three nights with our two small children. The staff were very pleasant and provided anything required to make our stay comfortable. The food was good and the rooms exceptionally comfortable. we would recommend the hotel for a most enjoyable stay in beautiful Verona.
Good renovated standard. Very high service willingness among personnel.
We stayed in 5 hotels all around nothern Italy. This was the best we had in this price range. Very helpful english-speaking staff. Good large room. Fair breakfast. GREAT value for money !!! A bit far from the city , no problem with a car though.
Spacious room, good facilities included a small fridge. Good size bathroom. Nice breakfast with good variety and a cappucino machine! Helpful staff. Good close carparking. Supermarket in close proximity The hallway was very dark and the light outside our door didn't work so made it difficult to see when we returned to the room at night.
The hotel was friendly and all the staff were really nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished. Lived up to our expectations fully and would love to go back!
The staff was very friendly, the room was even better than I expected even after reading all of the previous positive reviews.
The staff - they were all very friendly and helpful. N/A.
Better air condition system Breakfast with few fruits
friendly and helpfull personel , private parking , breakfast o.k. , big and comfortable rooms, clean
Staff were very friendly and helpful not to mention efficient. One of the more memorable stays in Italy for me. Breakfast can include a hot cooked one with additional charge.
dinner a little far away
Very good hotel for tourist guide in Verona , good personal.
Very nice Landlady, warm and friendly, not much 2. language but we managed quite well. Fine Kitchen, not many choices, but cheap! We ate better there than in Venice. Coming from Venice to Verona by "Trasversale est". Follow the SP35 to Roveré V.se, they had put signs on the road to Hotel Christina. No mistakes were possible. The hotel is beautifully situated in a village, with a georgious look over the valley and mountains. You wake up in the morning by the sound of the village church bells (7.30). Awesome!
If there were lunchpack services, it would be perfect! very good
The staff was very frendly :) thank you!
very nice people! very clean hotel! very good!
Stylish small hotel, in reality is even better than pictures. Best choice for tavelling by car near Verona.
Very nice hotel, completely new, good quality, very nice rooms, good breakfast! Not close to the center of the city
