The suite was nicer than some apartments I have lived in; spacious doesn't even begin to describe it! The kitchen was large and boasted clean dishes; quality utensils; granite countertops; and featured all new and full sized appliances including an oven, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The bathroom was gorgeous, with a separate door and fan for the toilet. (Always a good thing when traveling!) The shower had a waterfall head and a wand. The provided toiletries were pleasantly scented and mounted in large bottles to the wall of the shower. The king size bed was much wider than my king at home and was *very* comfortable. The wifi was fast and the signal was strong. Everything was clean and the rooms were well lit. It's tucked back from the main road, which definitely helps with the noise levels. There was very minor sounds of cars passing on the highway but they provided complimentary foam ear plugs and I didn't even need them. There was also an IPod compatible alarm clock/docking station, so you can play your own music or audiobook to help cover up the sound or fill the silence if you choose to. The staff was *very* friendly and even walked me to my room to point out the amenities and answer any questions. There aren't a lot of pointless bells and whistles in the lobby area, which I love since it keeps the cost to stay there down. They offered a coffee bar (fresh ground coffee that smelled amazing), a bottled water station, and a pool table that was available for use until 10:00 pm I think. There was even a small deck off of my living room! I enjoyed sitting on it and reading before getting ready for bed. I wish I could include the photos I took, unfortunately I am unable to. I will say I was so impressed that I immediately posted them to my Facebook page to share the "amazing digs" with my friends. ;) I drive from Wisconsin to Georgia several times a year and will definitely be making a point of staying here again. It was far and away a more pleasant stay than any of the large (and more expensive) chain hotels located nearby. I really had to stretch to think of something. The only things I could come up with are 1.) The shower had what appeared to be some minor staining on the floor, but it wasn't enough to make me feel like it hadn't been cleaned. It just looked like they needed to use a more abrasive cleaner to get rid of it. 2.) I wish they had a booklet of local restaurants/food delivery/attractions. I had to hunt for a food delivery service and I have a feeling I paid more than necessary to get my dinner delivered.
It was located close to where I needed to go. Carpets in halls were dirty. Exterior security doors did not close. Holes in the wall of the room. Bathroom light did not work when we arrived. Recliner in the room was broken.
It was cheap and available. This hotel is somewhat secluded and that was nice. I dropped my jacket in the parking lot when I arrived and the next morning when I left someone had folded it and left it on the bench by the front door. I thought that was very nice since it was a nice Columbia jacket. The hotel was very small and my room was located so that every time someone walked in the front door I could hear the bell on the door. The breakfast wasn't stellar but for the money and on short notice it worked.
Room smelled bad and looked dated. Did not stay
No hot water in the sink. Bathroom lights were flickering. Very little condiments. Air conditioning was loud. Windows were in bad shape. Room smelled like smoke. The beds were very uncomfortable because of the mattresses were wore out. Didn't get a good night sleep.
This place was NASTY! Do not stay here!!! The sheets had holes in them. God only knows when the last time the rooms were cleaned. We were supposed to stay there two nights but canceled the second night. The pictures on line are very misleading, bordering on fraud.
clean, good service
No hot water
The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly. We would like to thank Joe Wilder for making us feel at home, he was friendly and would chat with us. We always choose super 8 hotels when traveling. There was nothing to not like.
Felt safe, it was quiet & updated.
I booked this room for my in-laws and they simple enjoyed it. The motel meet or exceed their expectations. The most valuable part is the convenient location.
Itcisc5 minutes from the Corvette Museum. Parking right in front of the room. It smelled of cleaning solutions.
its location the guy who worked evening's seemed that we were a chore to take care of. in the room we stayed in, their wasn't a good location to park the car
The location is perfect if your racing at Beech Bend Dragway! The breakfast is non existent-shouldnt even bother with it. And there were a lot of people hanging around outside playing loud music-but it seemed to quiet down at night.
location to interstate , race track no cleaning of room, no new towels, roaches, toilets are low flow, hot water ran out.
It was just off the interstate and very easy to get to.
Just right for our trip to the Corvette museum. Clean, comfortable, newly renovated hotel. Compact but has everything. Cold breakfast was just right. Outside could use nicer landscaping to make it more welcoming but otherwise this hotel is a winner.
The room was very clean. The breakfast was very poor.
The room was updated and clean. Great value for what I paid. The water pressure wasn't great but wasn't horrible. Wished the breakfast selection was a little better.
It was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly! The continental breakfast was very lacking in choices. In our room the shower did not drain, so after speaking with someone they moved us to another room. Unfortunately that shower also did not drain.
Location and cleanliness are great Linens and towels could be better
