Cons: The mattress is a bit soft!
8.3 Excellent
Cons: I was just astounded that an interior designer would choose SOLID BLACK SHADES for the lamps. Not everything one wants to read is on a screen. All the hotel information paperwork needs to be read with a light. Please consider having these ridiculous lamp shades changed!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything, very comfortable, very stylish. Wonderful location. Everything you could need.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very reasonably priced as it was only $20 for a full buffet. The selection was very good. The first morning the food was cold which was a bit disappointing but the second morning it was a lot better. The room was lovely and the location was terrific. We walked into the main street and to the war memorial. The staff were terrific. Parking was also only $10 a day which is very reasonable as I have paid up to $25 dollars a day in other places.
Cons: There was nothing really not to like. Everything met expectations.

Cons: N/a
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a very good breakfast - we chose to have cooked - given we all had different requirements including vegetarian I found them very helpful and accommodating - even to arranging a time and checking in with us at that time so all was cooked fresh! This is a house so areas are shared with other guests, the dining area is compact and equiped to enable us to make tea/toast, microwave, have some fruit, or a juice from the fridge anytime. We could have opted to eat outside in either of two areas - I did have a coffee (pressed) out there. We slept very well - the beds were very very comfortable. I really enjoyed the touchs of period objects/furniture as it's an older style B & B. It was a lovely bonus meeting their daughter and Spiky the dog in the morning - my young grandson enjoyed himself - off the iPad!! Nice leafy location with a short drive to the centre of Canberra and museums. Many thanks Dickie & Chloe!
Cons: I prefer my own bathroom and there is only one shared bathroom here and another separate toilet. We were fortunate the night and morning we stayed that wasn't a problem. And sadly for us the pool was out of action at the time - it was being fixed! C'est la vie!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Welcome and attention to detail by Dickie
Cons: Due to renovations, pool and outside area not available. This could have been stated on the booking
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great & the location was great for what we there for.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The host, Dickie, is a very interesting and welcoming guy. He has kept the traditional feel of the house, so you get a true Canberra experience.
Cons: We had the place to ourselves which was wonderful. I suspect if the other two rooms were booked, it would have been a bit of a squeeze.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Customer focused staff. Great location. Can walk to Civic in ten minutes.. Breakfast is exceptional. Value for money. Would recommend.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to war memorial, quirkinesses
10.0 Excellent

Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location, easy to get to and Dickie and his wife were lovely hosts
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great old-style B&B to stay near central Canberra - the hosts are very friendly and everything was there for my brief stay in Canberra. Breakfast was good, and I would happily stay at the Evergreen again.
Cons: Nothing I did not like. The property is not modern, being a 1940s building (something that I like - but maybe not for everyone), so be prepared for that.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The bed is possibly the most comfortale I have ever slept on in my entire life.
7.5 Good
Pros: The position is great, so close to many areas of Canberra with great eateries and entertainment.
Cons: We missed the welcome we received the last time we stay (almost like we were part of the family) - the staff this time didn’t seem to know we had stayed before and were not as attentive. Although the hotel promotes price matching - when I mention a deal I had seen - I got dismissed with a strange response.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Love staying in little national hotel, we also went to Buvette for dinner just accross the road and it was fantastic

Cons: No where to get food and a bit out of the city
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The modern features of the hotel, electric blinds, comfy bed.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean place, with good heating and cooling options. Enjoyed having a kitchen.
Cons: The bathrooms are quite pokey but not a big deal for a short stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was spacious and clean
Cons: Therw was that annoying noise of exhaust fan when you switch light in the bathroom
8.0 Excellent
Pros: no breakfast
Cons: A chair or a luggage rack would have been useful so the bags did not have to go on the floor
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful reception experience, seamess service. Parking underneath @ $15/night. Rooms clean and fresh, well appointed. Location brilliant, right opposite eat street
Cons: All Good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great rooms and access for disabled (wheelchair) traveller
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very close to restaurants, supermarket.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We picked to stay in Kingston as it's close to Manuka and Fyshwick where we needed to pick up our new car. The room on the top floor had a very functional kitchen, dishwasher (wasn't working) and washing machine as well as a small balcony. The aircon/heating was just comfortable and right (I think it's central). It was very well decorated, spacious, super clean and smells lovely. Lots of restaurants to choose from across the block in Kingston and only 10-15 min walk to Kingston Foreshore and Manuka.
Cons: We were given a double bed which was somewhat small for 2 people! The sink layout in the bathroom juts out too much but not a real issue. Reception staff could be friendlier.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a very comfortable stay and I expect to repeat it in the future
Cons: I found the bathroom window situated on the main thoroughfare outside a little uncomfortable. The lovely size window let in the light but when I stepped into the shower I could see people's heads as they walked past. Maybe a blind? But it was a small issue, my stay was actually very comfortable.

Pros: Tastefully restored 1960’s motel. Cared for with love by young husband and wife. Immaculately clean. Warm, friendly checkin. Very impressed. Will stay again.
Cons: Nothing. For $115 p/n it was great value.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The lady that runs/owns the motel is a gem. Gave a local map and things to do. Told us the best places to eat. Gave us extra sugar. :-) We stayed Rm 1. The beds were comfortable and firm. Pillows were firm. Bedding smelt and felt freshly washed. The room has a small fridge, microwave, kettle, iron, ironing board, tea and coffee. A small milk is supplied, so if you are a big hot drink person, you will need extra milk. The bathroom has free toiletries. Towels are provided. The shower is big enough to bath in. Hot water and water pressure in general were good. The room was basic, but very clean. You can tell the place is loved. Its in the centre of town, so the shops are a walk away. 8.8 Excellent
Pros: Easy checkin, on-site parking, great location, clean and comfortable, nice restaurant, friendly staff. Interconnecting rooms.
Cons: Nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice, spacious and stylish
Cons: Odd that when I asked for a toothbrush/toothpaste kit at Reception I was looked at strangely and then told no they don’t have - in an airport hotel for heaven’s sake, very surprising. In a small country motel a few days later they were in all rooms.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location to the airport. Easy check out process. Decent in-room coffee and tea. Comfortable bedding.
Cons: There was a delay in getting my room as had to be checked to see that it is clean, which is not normally an issue but after driving over 2 hours to get to Canberra and arriving at 10.30pm, I would've expected everything to be seamless and hassle-free. There was also not enough underground parking available so I was directed to the outdoor carpark across the road - again, not generally an issue but in the middle of winter with having to carry my luggage with me, it is not an ideal scenario.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were exceptional. They always greeted me with a smile. The property was picture perfect. All furniture and furnishings fitted perfectly and were brilliantly comfortable. The artwork in the rooms completed the picture.
Cons: Nothing! This place is amazing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location to the airport is fabulous.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Modern facilities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: So close to the airport. Great room. Lovely dining areas.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, modern, good location.
Cons: Had to wake up early to travel. No coffee on the limited room service menu. But that didnt matter because it was 5:01 and there is no room service from 05:00 - 06:30. So getting a coffee was impossible during this time. We had already used the coffees in the room the night before. As the staff members at reception explained we could not get a coffee until 06:30, there was a switched on coffee machine a few meters away. Ridiculous situation. Staff should think outside the box rather than being drones. 'Computer says no'
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a wonderful comfortable and safe environment, and the staff as so pleasant and helpful. Thank you
Cons: Nothing

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant staff. Nice apartment style room with good kitchen facilities. Quiet location. Good lighting. Window that opened and a balcony.
Cons: Some stains on carpet. The fridge door needed shouldering to close properly (one of those fridges behind a facade).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was exceptional and very relaxing. Facilities were clean and state of the art. Location is central. The restaurant across the road was exceptional. We will definitely travel here again. Highly recommend.
Cons: The room automatically locks you out at 10 am, we had an additional hour to leave. This caused a bit of panic however the staff were extremely helpful.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Reception staff were very helpful
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Despite having a prepaid "guaranteed booking" via Kayak/hotels.com, the hotel said they were overbooked and unilaterally cancelled me at 9pm on the night of the booking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for our wedding anniversary and a bottle of champagne was supplied for each of the two nights we stayed.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, modern clean hotel, and sensational location
Cons: Parking was a complete rip off - I was there for one night and charged $30 which I think is outrageous( I note that the car parking is owned by Wilson Parking who are known for their gouging! Breakfast buffet was also pretty average
6.8 Good
Pros: Property is clean, modern and well located Nice friendly greeting by front desk staff Free Parking Soaps and shampoos of a boutique hotel standard, very good With a generous supply. Free movie streaming - that said this is only a great bonus if it works.
Cons: Free movie streaming didn’t work. Airconditioning wouldn’t heat past 21°. Technician said it was working, room stayed at the same temperature. I spent the night cold. I think this might be a cost saving thing, it made it very uncomfortable, lady at front desk apologised and pretty much dismissed me, no offer of compensation, a change of room or a free coffee - nothing. Her response left me feeling this is a regular thing, she had her response down pat. For the price I expected a bathtub. With the problems this place didn’t represent good value, I was disappointed with my experience. I left the hotel exhausted from a sleepless night which defeated the purpose of staying there on my way to the snow. Room iPad had been disconnected and run flat. Hotel bar restaurant - order food, collect yourself. You have to go back and order dessert and collect again. As great as the hotel could be I was left feeling the hotel was being run on a really tight budget, more focused on controlling expenses than customer experience. I’d prefer less shampoo and body wash and have a hot room. Food from bar was ok. Steak sandwich a better choice than the chicken burger. The bar had a nice ambience with open gas fire place. Could have been a fantastic experience, sadly left me a little disappointed and tired.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: room layout, hotel offerings, facilities
Cons: limited room service menu, cheese platter needs to be avail 24/7
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, spacious, well appointed and so comfortable. Location and service are exceptional!
Cons: Loved everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The suite was very spacious and well set out. The hotel was attractive and easy to negotiate.
Cons: I have no complaints at all.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the very professional service of the staff, the high quality furnishings and bedding, the attention to detail in the cleaning process and the close proximity to bars and restaurants.
Cons: The lifts were a little dodgy in operation, there was only an outdoors (covered) bar.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean staff are friendly and its a nice comfortable hotel
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect hotel, access to amazing gym and pool facilities and staff were incredibly helpful.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good cafes and restaurants in precinct Great setup for family of 4 with two bedroom, two bathroom,washer/ dryer and kitchen Secure and included under cover parking Good location
Cons: Cleaning a real problem with lack of attention to detail- cleaning rags and cleaning fluid left on bedside table after “ making up room”, under beds not cleaned with quite a lot of rubbish from previous occupants, balcony not cleaned with several cigarette butts left on ground, coffee table cleaned with dirty rag. Lift broken down on day we left so taking luggage down was difficult Hallways need a freshen up- carpet and styling looking very tired. Kitchen could do with a few more additions to make self catering easier. Quite a sparse selection of kitchen utensils. Scissors would be good to start with.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was clean, fresh and modern. Felt like an actual apartment
Cons: There wasn't a microwave. Needed one.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location within easy walking distance of Manuka. Modern apartment with plenty of room. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Maple and Clove cafe/restaurant beside serves excellent food and coffee.
Cons: It is the way today of most places to only have a doona on the bed... not just the Burberry. We understand the reasoning but temperature control is difficult. We took the inner section out of the doona and adjusted windows and air conditioning.... with some difficulty.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quality was excellent. Well presented and fresh.
Cons: Too many light switches in in the room and some seemed to not do anything.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Staff.
Cons: Bedroom area has poor lighting - especially when getting ready before sunrise.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is great. Complimentary parking. Large room. Nice amenities. Restaurants in the property are great. The food & service at chairman and yip is next level impressive.
Cons: There were some maintenance and staff communication issues. I rang ahead as I had booked two rooms that I was paying for and my parents were arriving ahead of me. I confirmed on phone I was paying for both rooms and he confirmed they were same room types. Checked in (no buzzer to get into carpark was annoying so had to go back up and find a parking spot on street to checkin first). Checked in, was told my parents had paid separately, that there were no notes to say otherwise despite my call. My room was not same as my parents and I was given an accessible room. The window was broken and wouldn’t close so room was cold and smelt of meat from restaurant downstairs. The maintenance guy was efficient - thanks to him. I asked why the rooms had been confirmed yet two hours later it was assigned as different. Staff member was unhelpful and clearly frustrated at my query. Heating in room didn’t work, came on at 3am at which time I woke to the intense heat. Couldn’t get heating to work for my parents either but had given up on reception by this point. It’s a nice hotel, great location, but experience and service was not like my other experiences with DOMA hotels which have all been great til now. Thankfully the dinner was amazing so I tried to forget about the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed, lovely bathrooms, clean facilities and friendly staff.
9.5 Excellent
