Villa Garden Braga

The room was quite large and the other guests were friendly. It is within reasonable walking distance to the town centre, but not if you have any difficulties walking.

We stayed in this hotel for ten days and the staff appeared that everything was a chore to them. They didn't even tell us where the restaurant was. When we realised it was a different place to where breakfast was, they said we couldn't use it as it was full and that we couldn't order room service as the kitchen was too busy. This was after a long day of work and there are no eateries near by. I feel that staying this long in a small hotel, the staff would be more familiar as time went on. Very disappointing. I feel they were perhaps busier than usual for this time of year, as we stayed for the Dance World Cup. Eggs / other supposedly hot breakfast was cold every morning, no matter what time we arrived. The room was spacious and clean (although they never took glasses out, we had a build up of 4 at one point before taking them out ourselves). Such a shame, as it is within reasonable walking distance to the centre. But we would have liked to relax in the lovely hotel bar or by the pool etc some evenings - but the staff just didn't make this a pleasant experience at all.
