The welcome was wonderful, the room so comfortable, the breakfast was truly great and everything was efficient yet freindly. I would stay there again. Anytime. Nothing to dislike!
Staff were very helpful, the roon was beautifully set out, the facilities were very good and the breakfast was excellent. Evrything was high quality for a reasonable price.
Very individual design and helpful staff.
Charming hotel with a great backyard & nice decorated room.
Beautiful decor and good food. Jan and Christian are excellent hosts.
The attached restaurant was absolutely horrible. Food was inedible, old - nothing on the "buffet" and not worth even 1 euro but had to pay 15 euros. Staff was incredibly rude and not helpful at all. Don't waste your time or money.
The staff was amazing, and the rooms were huge and comfortable. From my window I could see the field of Saint-Truiden FC.
It was very comfortable. The restaurant was very good, but it was not easy to access, there was no direct route from the hotel.
Excellent hotel with very nice people. Great bed :-)
helpful and pleasant staff no business center or free wifi
Room was clean and a good size Nobody in when I arived (5.30 pm) Had to wait 30 minutes to get in. Restaurant was closed as was the village. Long drive to find anywhere open. Retains original farmyard smells
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is a recent conversion of a lovely old farm in a small village. Very comfortable and excellent finish. Breakfast was good. Would certainly stop there again.
I loved the old world feel of the place, the hotel is full of character and has a wonderful charm about it. We had a great time there but customer support was lesss than wonderful.
Friendly athmosphere, big rooms, clean No restauration in the evening ; TV screens to high and too small. No good seat in the room
Hotel was quiet and romantic because of its history. Amenities were minimal. Hotel room was not as clean as it should have been.
No staff in the chateau outside of working hours
Great value & 24 hour access
None Ugly panorama: a nuclear powerplant with many electrical wires; Very disappointing room: Unpleasent smell, dust everywhere, dead insects in the curtains, clear signs of repeated water damage on the ceiling which leaked sunday morning at 7am and water was dropping on our bed and laptop; 14 eur for a terrible breakfast including croissants placed their the day before (!) and one cellophane-covered plate with cheap cheese and salami, this and the rest (yoghurt, juice and coffee) was removed from the room although we paid for it and we had to complain to get it back. No excuses from the staff. When asking for a refund for the ruined night by the water damage dripping on our beds in the early morning the owner and the staff members were totally reluctant and impolite. When I insisted they were shouting at us and a staff member told us that we have to leave immediately otherwise she would throw our stuff out of the window; when we fotodocumented the water damage she was making fun of us by doing silly dances and asking to be phographed as well.
Pleasant room Prepacked breakfast taken in bedroom
Large room, close to the place where I was supposed to do the bussines trip Bath tube not working properly, leaking on the floor. In front of the leaving room window there was a nest of wilde bees. This was not so pleasant when I tryed to let the fresh air to come into the room
This is not a hotel but two rooms at a livery stables. This means you are treated like a friend of the family, sharing a wonderful dinner, and having an enjoyable time talking before retiring to your room. Breakfast was good with a wide variety on offer. Although we were assured that the website made it plain that this was not a hotel we were not aware of this and therefore weren't sure how to get into the place. A bigger sign would have been helpful when arriving at dusk. We have no problem with the fact that it wasn't a hotel, just that we were execting something different and thought perhaps the hotel part was at the back!
Very good food, friendly owner and interesting building No signage - hard to find without it
This is a Chambre d'hotes, not a hotel - but that in no way detracts from the delight of it. The room was spacious, comfortable, with an excellent shower and the furnishings are definately not from a "chain" - they're much more welcoming! Catherine, the owner, is lovely, She & her family make you feel very much at home. Breakfast is served in front of a roaring log fire in the country kitchen/dining room, home made jams & plentiful supplies of Earl Grey....what more can you ask for? Sitting chatting at the breakfast table with Catherine & her other guest was a delightful & charming start to the day. The sort of place that (especially if you travel at lot) you think has all but disappeared. Thankfully - it hasn't. Truly a delight to visit!! This is nothing specifically to do with the hotel, just something to note. Catherine is still waiting for her official Chambre d'hotes sign to be delivered from the relvant agency, so spotting the place can be difficult - especially if you're driving on your own. So - to help you find it: If you drive through Forville & the Pharmacie is on your immediate right - the hotel is the third house on your left (large brick house, set back slightly from the road, with a small horse menage at the front). If you drive through Forville & the Pharmacie is on your immediate left - you've just past the entrance to the hotel by less than 100 yards.
