Breakfast ,staff, parking ,A.C., On my first night there was very LOUD music until after 03 am (for us regular people it"s the middle of the night !!!) and we couldn't sleep .When I called the reception I was told that there was a PRIVED PARTY at M2 -I had room 203,otherwise a very nice room. I think the hotel management should care a little more and take into consideration the well being of the other paying guests of their hotel!
new, modern, comfortable, nice service Initially the bathroom has been provided with one set of towels even if the booking was for two people.
I usually stay at this hotel when I'm in Bucharest. It is very nice and affordable.
the honesty of the staff.
Staff was rude. They refused to accept payment with credit card stating that pos was broken. At the entrance the sign says nh HotelEs, which is funny.
Impossible to locate if you're driving.
Comfortable an calm place I was served up the only bottle of rose wine and had to continue with red...
Close to the city centre. Breakfast for 16EUR. Ultra expensive and very poor. More over we were told it's for 3days in total. Then on bill it was 3x16EUR.
The room ,very comfortable! Bathroom as well! The airconditioning!!!!!! It was to hot!!! They changed the room, but i think they dont put the air on full power to save enery! besides that, the hotel is excelent!

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nothing
Comfortable room, good breakfast, quiet, and very helpful staff
Quality hotel with comfortable rooms and a lot of attention to detail, it is both stylish and practical, and it offers good value for money. Bar service is very poorly staffed!
Everything was OK
I do not like anything The hotel consists in two parts: the hotel itself with decent rooms (although they were aggressively decorated (red, pink) and a dependency with rooms no bigger than a bathroom and without central heating and without windows!!!! My guess is that these rooms are not reported to authorities like hotel rooms. It is a monkey business!!!
Pretty quiet location, not to far away from center, The room i smalllest room i ever had at a hotel, But functional for 1 person. The staff is horrible. Breakfast is... i dont know beacuse my wake up call didnt happend, instead i was charged for another night and lost my flight.
the cost of 29 euros was fair. The staff spoke English and were friendly. there was no air condition which meant I needed to leave windows open, but still hot. The insects also can thru the windows and stayed. The shower outflow pipe was blocked and water did overflow onto the bathroom floor.
The rooms was clean and comfortable. The price was good The breakfast was poor.
ok for 1 night after a rock concert(ac/dc) non smoking rooms
Extremely clean hotel, the staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Wonderful with children. Great location in old Bucharest, and city centre easily accessible by public transport.
the staff were nice........ did not appear as seen in the website..........
It was the second time at Hotel Tripoli. Once again, it was enjoyable and pleasant due to its wonderful staff and management. This is indeed a little gem in old Bucharest, surrounded by a very interesting area with good public transport connection to Piata Unirii and Boulevard Bratianu. Nothing really ; I suppose that if one expects a huge breakfast one will be disappointed but this is not the UK or the US. Romanians either have cold meat and cheese with coffee, or pastries, this is standard. The hotel provided juice and fresh fruits as well in the morning.
The location is perfect, the staff is really nice and the rooms are very clean. I ll definitely go back
It was clean and modern The location of the toilet and its glass door
nice clean room, free internet
Very clean, staff was excellent and proximity to main train station and public transport make it an ideal location for travelers who arrive by train. It is a basic hotel, but very well put together, clean and comfortable. Although I only stayed one night, I would not hesitate to make this hotel the base for visiting the city. Great value as price point is excellent at 32 Euro per night. Could have earlier start for the included breakfast To accommodate travelers who have early flights out.
Being new and fresh! Simple but efficient. The location is really good, near the train station.
Staff did not know the area around the hotel that well to suggest ideas to guest.
the position in the city, near the train station. the bathroom hasn't a real door.
The availability of the staf and the atmosphere
Modern style hotel, the confort room was spacious, clean, with new even if simple interior design. I appreciated their attention for security, because you need your personal magnetic key to use the elevator. Breakfast costs 5 extra euros and it's absolutely poor.
Good location, close to the main railway station. The hotel is new and modern, room was compact, clean and very functional.
Across the street from the central station and just beside the exit from the Metro, I'm glad I found this brand new sparkling clean hotel on your site. A little expensive but convenient cafe on the ground floor. Wished the cafe on the ground floor had more food in the evenings too.
Friendly and efficient staff. Good value, well located in Bucharest close to Metro. Nothing I disliked. I asked to pay in full at the end of my stay but breakfast staff preferred me to pay daily.
centrally located. Helpfull staff. Bar closed at midnight. Comfortable room but little space for clothes. Bathroom space not optimal.
The ambiance of an old world feeling. Helpful courteous staff. Fabulous breakfast in a brick cave. Elegant lobby. Large well appointed room, comfortable bed with a modern well designed bathroom. Nothing
New and modern, location perfect. Nice things for breakfast, nice staff.
Great breakfast, rooms, location, lobby as well as value for money.
More than 10 points is possible????is the best thxxx
Great location, in the very center of the city, very good service, staff always helpful and polite. The breakfast was also good (the only meal I've had in the hotel).
The style, location, quality of the restaurants.
The hotel is really nice. It is located in a very quiet and safe area, close to Romexpo. The hotel is also close to the city center in a walking distance and there is a fruit and vegetable market nearby. I felt like being at home there - in the appartment under the roof. It had everything needed and was very clean. There was no one at the reception during our stay. We only had a phone number to call in case of issues. In our case that was OK since we didn't have any complains or questions.
large, quite, peaceful room. singing birds in the morning. residential area. no food in the hotel. the receptionist promised to get some food for breakfast but did not do this.
The rooms were reasonably well appointed with a decent sized kitchen. We had a very poor experience checking into the hotel. 1. There was no one to meet us, we called the hotel and could hear the phone ringing but no one came for us - we had to call booking.com and eventually someone came to the door. 2. They demanded an extra 36% on top of the confirmed rate through booking.com when we arrived (we had booked the apartment and received confirmation for 3 guests and the confirmation clearly stated that there would be no extra costs) for an "extra bed". Otherwise, they said we can sleep all 3 in the double bed or "you can go stay somewhere else". After spending a while looking for this place and having a short time in Bucharest before having to fly out from nearby Baneasa airport in the early morning, we had no choice but to stay there and pay extra 3. The extra bed turned out to be an extremely uncomfortable sofa bed with a big bulge in the middle (and it is the sofa bed that is in the lounge room!) No idea how they can justify paying for an extra bed that is already there! 4. They did not accept credit card payment even though it clearly states on the confirmation that it did (and so did the stickers on the wall) - apparently the machine was taken away by the owner 5. Even if you could pay by credit card, you would be lumped by an extra 2%-4% fee, and no where is that stated on the confirmation. I average 200 nights away from home (or more) per year and have visited 40+ countries and stayed in every imaginable accommodation type for work & leisure. In my opinion, of these 1000+ stays, this one takes the cake for most blatant disregard for the terms agreed. The only stay that comes close to this was when a hotel in Cambodia tried to reneg on complimentary breakfast (but that is extremely minor, and it was a lot cheaper too). Lest people think this is symptomatic of Romania, the two other apartments we booked through booking.com in Romania were absolutely great - the staff were friendly, and everything was as per the confirmation
Modern apartment building close to the centre of Bucharest. Good security. Close to main bus routes and Grivita metro station. Price information: The rate quoted by Booking.com was 350 euros for 7 nights, incl. Vat. On arrival the payment requested was 350 euros plus vat. To pay by credit card would have incurred a 2% surcharge. I was told that paying cash I would escape vat and 2% surcharge. Payment was requested in advance, which meant I had to search for a bank with an atm that would accept my uk debit card.
the facilities and the total independance! the imposed payement in Lei , to a so bad rate that the price increased of 10%
The rooms were quite huge. The place was clean and quite It was far off the center. That s why I wouldn t return there anymore
Friendly service and bright rooms with internet connection Suggest to have WiFi internet access and a desk/chair with power point for working
Very nice and friendly appartement with fully equipped kitchen Not that close to the city centre
Wonderful, immaculate room, nice neighborhood, great value!
Stayed second time and it's the best value for money
extra costs for parking an internet
We were on a tour.Great hotel and location. The hotel broke one of my bags .I am still waiting to see if Hilton will fix or replace my bag
I found a special offer and wanted to try the product. I liked the bed very much (large and comfortable) and the breakfast (a lot of variety and good food).
Very good central location, elegant classical lobby and entrance hall
I liked very much the facilities, the location, the decoration and the atmosphere. It took me sometime to make the chek out and teh problems to use VISA cards
I had a business meeting arranged in the hotel so I chose also to stay there. I really liked the Executive Lounge with the view and the privacy for business discussion. Also, great service at the English Bar!
I love this property, I travel every other month to Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest and I really enjoy the welcome back home feeling I get right from the check-in, with a very nice smile, to the health club and of course the famous English Bar. And it's an easy way to top-up my Hhonors account! Definitely a keeper.
I chose this hotel because of the brand and I have to say the service I received was above my expectations. You really get the feeling of all the history and tradition of the hotel, just by having a tea in Le Collonade, their somptuous hotel lobby. I would recommend this hotel for people who want to experience more than a hotel room.
The staff was very helpfull and the food in the restaurant was excelent! The spa facilities were not so clean.
great location, luxury, great staff and service. i will definitely return to this hotel none
Great Value at $95 per night and amazing location. Great staff and super fast and reliable internet. I strongly recommend. The included breakfast is really good . Bucharest is totally worth a visit . It has its unique feeling one will not find anywhere else. The door keys lose their magnetic field easily. Otherwise not much.
location and character of the building.Definitely the best hotel in Bucharest Staff are not quite up to international standards but they try.
the hotel is in a very good aria of bucharest , is a very nice hotel, clean, with nice staff for a good price
Cosy small hotel nicely located in old town with recently refurbished room which looked exactly like on the online pictures. Helpful staff that would fulfill your smallest need with a smile. Although hotel does not have a restaurant, a room-service is organised from the nearby restaurants and cafés. Excellent. If you want to avoid "tastless and odourless" international hotels, Rembrandt is a good alternative. Personnally, I wasn't disturbed but there is a risk of noise from the cafes and bars below on the street. Looks like a popular going-out part of town. Despite "noise risk" to my understanding the rooms facing the street are nicer than the ones towards the backyard.
Supurb location. Top breakfast buffet included in room rate
Very much the comfort and very kind staff. Problem with cleaning.................The price is a litlle much too high for such type of the hotel!!!
I liked the hotel itself and the location. The staff were very friendly. There is no parking at the hotel (pedestrian street) and the parking possibilities were not clearly explained by the staff, so we ended up improvising with the guardian of some private company parking lot nearby, which was weird and quite uncomfortable
Size and style of the room No
Clean, comfortable, good space, efficient staff. It was not possible to get extra tea or coffee sachets at 6pm!!!!! A small point, but bad.
A perfect place to stay in Bucharest!
Very nice hotel. Worth staying in. Nice breakfast
Very good hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast and absolutely fantastic location, close to all major sights and very good restaurants.
Brakfast could be much more hot each morning...
Better net access, ideally wifi throughout the property.
bad sheets, no possibility to block light from window with certains, bad shower.
Rooms were clean and aircondition worked Staff does not really seem to care about the guests, and English was a problem
the staf was vary nice.clean room .dirction when i go some place and the staf help me with site seeing the elavator was small.and so the bath room
Even if it is only a 3 star hotel is very clean compared with many other 4 or 5 star hotels. Breakfast could have more choice, especially about hot food, which might be not possible because doesn't seem to have the right kitchen facilities and shower water was not hot enough.
nothing special maybe the breakfast could be offered in variants and drinks selection should be definitely broader
staff is friendly Absolutely too high price for that comfort.
In the city center, has parking, breakfast was good, room was clean. The wireless was not working, bed and the pillows were terrible, it was too hot in the room, too many street dogs outside that bark and disturb the sleep.
kindness of the staff none
There was no TV and when I complait the answer was, we vill fix it tomorrow.
Apart from a minor cosmetic defect, everything in the room/bathroom looked as new. Functionally, everything was flawless. The pool, while it comes at a small extra fee, is worth it. The location can be considered a minus, but only if traveling on foot. It is a five minutes car ride from the center of the city.
Nice new building. Good breakfast Tooooo far away from the center city. The personal is unuseful...they dont help at all, dont give advices, dont care about the tourists. The only thing that they do for you its call you a taxi...the most expansive one. If you want to use the pool you should pay 15 euro...even if you are a guest!!!!!. If you are visitng Bucharest as a tourist...defintively its not your hotel
the rooms very cold and they not did nothing to repair the problem the staf and services very bad and not profesional
Building Materials of Hotel Cleaness was not 100%
The View on the Casa Parlamentului. They have rooms with no windows. Be carefull to ask at the desk what view you are going to get as you may be unpleasantly surprised.
i visited at city no.all was very nice
Too far from everywhere. In the middle of car repairers. You really need car or taxi to reach city center andf it takes around 45-60 minutes. This Hotel is still under constraction. No Gym-No Swimming Pool. You have to run showere at least five minutes to get hot water. It is definetely not 4* hotel. Too pricy compared to facilites and location.
I do not reccomend booking by credit card this hotel,i did it,and after departure, they charged me 4 things we didn't have from the minibar,so in my opinion the stuff tries to cheat on people,i do not like that at all in a so called "high level hotel".
great staff and location
Excellent staff, very conveniently situated and a great breakfast. We wouldn't go again unless they sort out the room entry system. Security is so good you can't get in!
Outstanding location close to the centre. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.
It was not so spacious but the staffs were very kind and friendly. The location was also good. Breakfast was not satisfactory. If they prepare for more fresh fruits and good coffee, guests will be happier.
staff noisy , there was a construction building to near hotel.
excellent and helpful staff, very clean and comfortable rooms, wonderful location
In the hotel was very nice! That I can`t pay in euro and I must go to searchrumanian money.
Sympathy and everybody very professional. Breakfast had good quality. I'll be back again.
Clean, attractive rooms. Free use of computers in lobby. Attentive staff. On weekends water took too long to become warm, and never got quite hot enough.
Very nice design hotel, friendly staff, good position. Many extra services, included for free. Electrically adjustable beds!
Very good & friendly hotel.excellent design & excellent staff.very friendly owner I am 1.90 height and the bed was 1.70.I asked double bed and I took 2 seperates touched
Hotel modern , amplasare excelenta , zona linistita .
We arrived shattered after a sleepless night on the train, too early to check in. We were shown to their oasis of a terrace where cheese and wine were served on the house, and we met the owner, Dan, who is a character-and-a-half! I could have talked to him all day and night - so often folk seem reticent to talk about living under communism (understandable) but not Dan, who's tales were fascinating. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble for these guys - he'd gone to incredible lengths to provide a collapsible wheelchair for one of our group who has very limited mobility. Very much appreciated and made a big difference to what we could do. Rooms spotless and well equiped, and staff just lovely. Special mention for Jan, who took us on a round city drive by arrangement of the hotel, who was delightful. This would be a fabulous hotel anywhere on earth - in Bucharest it is completely unexpected. Weather was blazing. so we were looking forward to dinner on the terrace (as they suggested), so were a little disappointed on our return in the evening to find a late business conference in session, preventing access outside. We ate downstairs in the restaurant and were the only ones in there, which was a bit of a lonely experience. Had we have known, we would have eaten in Lipscani.
Extremely friendly staff, truly rarely that you find staff like that! Its locatin could be slightly more central..
The absolute best hotel in Bucharest, the staff is super super super awesome and nice. Would definitely recommend it to everyone!
* Incredible staff; most notably the hotel owner and Serju (sp?) who was the 'bellboy', driver (picked us up from the airport), and overall just extremely helpful and cheerful, always willing to help us with questions and making travel plans. * the room was amazing and the bed was divine!* Breakfast food was delicious, varied, and included made-to- order omelets/pancakes. * the hotel was bright and very clean. * The hotel owner hosted a complimentary cocktail reception for guests on our first night - it was a lot of fun and appreciated! * Nespresso coffee maker in room was fantastic! * Toiletries were abundant and very high quality* remote-control black-out curtains were great for privacy and sleeping in* Design is fresh * Everything was fantastic!!!!!!!
Comfortable hotel, excellent service, great food.
Breakfast excellent, staff very attentive & helpful, appeared genuinely interested in guests. Modern & very clean hotel,in central position
The hotel is cosy and rooms are comfortable. I appreciated having a coffee machine in the room and quality cosmetics. Breakfast is diversified and extras can be ordered free of charge. Staff is great and ready to help with any demands.
Large and well equipped. Internet signal was not strong in the room.
Very good room with nice view, very friendlyand helpfull staff and very good airport transfer service
Nice big apartment, good wifi connection, easy walk to city center. Dishes in cabinet were dirty and there was no dish soap on arrival.
Very comfortable flat, good location and helpful staff. I would recommend it to anyone. Will be back.
Hotel is new with large luxurious rooms, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The staff is extremely friendly and provides tours in the area. The breakfast is cooked to order with more than just the usual cold buffet items. It is not located near the center of the city but you can take a 10 minute taxi ride there for 3-4 euros
It was very conveniently located, was quite comfortable and provided a decent breakfast. The wireless internet did not work in the room as it should have and the shower had a horrible leak sending water all over the floor.
Having free wireless Internet. Having to pay in local currency!
Sadly, the only thing I liked was that the hotel was a bit better than expected (but knowing that the expectations were poor, then the impression was still not great), Although there were free rooms, they reception refused to give me one for 2 nights more than I have booked before. Only after I made another reservation on booking they agreed to this. Still, the new room they gave me had the entrance door broken.
Safe parking, very close to metrostation
the price and the breakfast staff made no real effort to communicate to me. I had to discover things on my own
Big room with air conditioning. 100m from the subway station. Poorly assembled shower cabin, leaks all over the bathroom floor.
