Pros: Great and elegant
Cons: Restaurant is very good but a bit expensive
Pros: Good staff at restaurant, dinner, good servis and knoledge about wine, upstairs rooms which is pefect.
Cons: Breakfast is good if you like that kind of breakfast, may advise is also to put normal eggs kind of eggs for breakfast...

Located in Nova Gorica, Guesthouse Ošterija is a 1-minute drive from Isonzo and 6 minutes from Stanjel castle. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice restaurant, kind service and the hotel is in a beautiful area.
Cons: It was a bit noisy, hotel rooms are next to the popular restaurant with a view over the car park. Located in a small and quiet village, so you need a car or bike to get around easily.
Pros: It is a cosy nice place located within a restaurant so there is no problem to eat some food on the spot. The price/performance ratio is very good! Beds are comfortable enough, you can explore the local Karst and Vipava region without any hassle.
Pros: It is a very practical room, simple but it contains all what you May need but there is nothing superfluous. Definitelly it's good value for money. There is a very cosy restaurant in the building. And Branik is a surprisingly Nice village.
Pros: A great warm welcome Everything was easy and delt with in a friendly manor. Very modern , clean and tidy rooms , great amenities in an four of the bedroom Comfortable bed in a sizeable bedroom and big and clean bathroom. This a third generation run guesthouse. An excellent location , I spent a day at the Franja partisan hospital and up in the hills. In Branik there is a supermarket all of a five minute drive away from the guesthouse and a ATM if needed. No worries if you are Hungary as the restaurant has a decent varied menu and the pizzas are made on site in a real pizza oven of which I didn not choose (I went for a local dish) buy you walk by the pizza kitchen on route to your room The locally sourced food , wine and beers are all delicious and are all very reasonable priced. The restaurant is well maintained with a more traditional feel .. I love the bottle of wine with Tito on the front , local produce. Beautiful views of vineyards .... Breakfast was very much worth the price , fresh quality coffee to get you started .... Plenty of parking and as there are not a huge number of rooms (adds to the cosiness)this place was one of my favourite all round stays! Big thanks and excellent place ,I will be be back one day!
Cons: Nothing at all

Pros: A small family-run hotel (only 6 rooms) with a warm ambience and good home-made meals featuring the family's own farm products (pork from Mangaliza Pigs is their specialty). The rooms are basic but clean and good value for money. The location is a very small village, not the most picturesque place in the Vipava, but a good base for exploring the Valley by car or bicycle.
Pros: Sylva is a lovely warmhearted lady!!
Pros: Friendly staff, great wine, fantastic breakfast. Really nice peaceful place to relax away from the crowds and enjoy some sitting under the shade of some grapevines
Cons: Unfortunately stayed during a heatwave so the room was very warm despite aircon. Would be no problem if weather stayed below 30 degrees. Not the fault of the hosts.
Pros: Very down to earth, friendly, family orientated people with wonderful home made food for breakfast and dinner. We booked for 4 nights originally but liked it so much we stayed a night longer. We felt very comfortable!
Pros: Very beautiful place. The family owners were so friendly and helpful. The food was original Slovenien, delicious and handmade. Their wine was excellent and from their own produktion. All in all a great experience.
Pros: Ham and sausage for breakfast, no tourists, family feeling, tasty wines and very good home-made diner. Wonderful sight around the district. Very close Trieste and sea side.
Cons: The near church bell.
Pros: Very cosy hotel, felt lika a homestay. The family lived in the same house as the hotel. Very friendly and helpful family who gave us advice on things to do and see nearby. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was great. Every friday-saturday they have a small resturant open for the public. On the rest of the days they offer you a three course dinner for 15 euro on request.
Cons: Wish we could have stayed longer!
Pros: The food from local farm was absolutely great. Perfect chef and high quality materials made a unique experience which I'll remember for a long time. The accomodation was also great, big rooms , quite place, great sleep.

Pros: House and gardens were beautiful.
Cons: Hard for hikers, but we were either offered a ride or asked and got one, which was great.
Pros: The place is situated in gorgeous surroundings and the house itself is an old house that has been restored with a lot of good taste as to cater perfectly for its guests. Good job !
Cons: The fact that we booked for a price, we were asked for another, higher of course and 3 euro for the sheets. It was sorted fast and easy. No extra charge. Also had a lady bang and shout at the door to the women's' bathroom while my wife was using it because ... ??? The lady disappeared as she appeared, still ... What the ... ?
