In follow up to my previous review, I probably would not stay at this condo during the Winter. The 'ski-in/ski-out' from this condo is not ideal. To ski-out, you will have to climb down a very steep incline of 20 yards or so before putting on your skis. Then ski over to the snowflake lift which will take you to Peak 8. To ski-in you will have to come from Peak 9. Not a big deal if you are familiar with skiing at Breckenridge, but important to know. The ski-in trail is very long and very flat. You will have to pole or skate for at least 1/2 mile to get back to this condo. Once back, take off your skiis and climb the steep incline to get up to the condo. Your vehicle will also be parked outside, so be prepared to scrape windows before driving. There are many other 'ski-in/ski-out' condos that are more user friendly.
Overall it was a nice condo. The 1 bedroom unit is down a flight of outdoor stairs. It is a basement condo with 2 units above it. Picture 6 shows a realistic idea of what the 1 bedroom unit is, the unit below the deck. The décor was nice, but this unit had no jetted bathtub, no stainless steel appliances, no gas fireplace, no heated garage. There is a private hot tub. It does have 2 full bathrooms, which is nice for a 1 bedroom condo. Check-in is not at 42 Snowflake Drive as the email confirmation says (its at 505 South Main St.). We were directed to 3 different locations before finally arriving at the correct Resort Quest check in. If I wasnt very familiar with Breckenridge, I would have been very frustrated with having to run around town. Parking is outside, at a reserved parking spot across the street. This is a very different situation if you rent in Winter, expecting a heated garage. The staff at Resort Quest were very nice and helpfull. I cant say I was disappointed in the quality of the unit, but if you rent the 1 bedroom, do not expect everything as described on the web site.
