Pros: Spectacular hotel. Loved it all. Restaurant was really interesting with many traditional dishes. Staff out a tasting menu together for us with venison, wild boar, duck, salmon and “hunting sausages”. But there were so many more traditional dishes. Rooms were high grade hunting lodge knotty pine with every amenity
Cons: All was great
Cons: Only thing missing was coffee/tea making facilities in the room.
Pros: Breakfast and restaurant: great
Pros: Fantastic place out in the country, with a wonderful wild game restaurant. The staff is very personable & not just professionally friendly. The huge patio was fantastic as we had a late fall warm weather. Perfect views and wonderful rustic German interior in Rooms & Restaurant. Love it.

Pros: Spotlessly clean, comfortable, easy to use, great bathroom.
Cons: We need coffee in the room
Pros: It is good value for what you get. The room is extremely clean, bathroom as well. All looks new. TV has option for Netflix so that is a plus. A good restaurant/beergarden a few meters from the Hotel.
Cons: It does not have A/C, Now the temperature outside was ok (I had to open the windows in the night because I was warm) but I would avoid this hotel if it's 30+ degree's outside.

Pros: Large Room, although needed a good clean.
Cons: I left early on the day of my departure for the airport so I arranged to leave my keys in the room, as reception is not 24 hrs and settled my bill the evening before. The next day a member of the staff thought I had not paid and contacted my Customer in the same village to tell them I had not paid. Absolutely disgusted. I forwarded copies of my invoice and payment receipt to my customer to save face. They then advised them of their mistake. Not a place I will ever visit again nor recommend to anyone in my lifetime.
Pros: Very nice location, very quiet room.
Cons: Very poor breakfast - empty buffet. Almost nothing was left when we came down for the breakfast after 8.00. I have never seen something like that in any hotel :-(

Pros: Thank the owner for the excellent attitude to the guests. Very tasty food, I recommend this hotel.
Pros: i don't know because i booked at this hotel , but i did not sleep there . And i will never book there again
Cons: I was arriving at the hotel at 20:30 after a long(12h)day of work. I was welcomed by the owner and started to check me in. He immediately made the bill on company name and I had to pay upfront. This was strange to me (I travel a lot for work), but ok I didn’t mind. After I paid he gave me the address of the place I was staying? It was a second house of them a little bit down the street, not far maybe almost 4 km. I said I wanted to eat in their restaurant because it was getting late and I was tired. He said at the other location they also have a restaurant and I could eat there. I didn’t like I had to drive to another location but all I wanted was to eat and go to bed. So I went to the other location(10 km and 20 min) because it was not down the road.. at arrival it was a total different hotel(hotel smith??). so I checked in , got my key and noticed the restaurant was closed. So I asked the person who checked me in and he said oh the other guy knew the restaurant was closed. I tried to call the other hotel owner what the meaning was of all this: I did not book at hotel smidt, I had to park my car at a busy street (not a privat parking), no restaurant, no biergarten, not at all what I thought I had booked. first I got a lady on the phone, who spoke badly German and said I had to call back in 5 min. so I called back: she said the owner was not there anymore and I had to call back after 2 weeks?? In the end of my complain phone call I left my phone number and told her that I expected the owner to call my back. And he did.. so I asked why I had to sleep in another hotel with a closed restaurant and no private parking place. The only thing he said he was sorry because he gave my booked room to another guest wo wanted to stay a day longer. He did not call me upfront if I was ok with that and even didn’t tell me before me made me pay. He could only tell me that the other hotel was better than his and he was sorry but I had to understand him..
Cons: Someone must have peed in the bed before. They put an extra blanket, but it was still moist...disgusting!
Pros: Very friendly staff, solid bed, out of town and away from noise, breakfast small but fine, very nice food for dinner and a wide variety!
Cons: WiFi only worked after we requested the modem be reset, signal was good downstairs but in the bedroom I couldn’t keep connection
Pros: Very friendly staff, solid bed, out of town and away from noise, breakfast small but fine, very nice food for dinner and a wide variety!
Cons: WiFi didn’t work at first until we requested the modem be reset, worked fine downstairs but in the bedroom I couldn’t keep signal connected.
Pros: The restaurant had a large card with good dishes. The bed was comfortable Good shower
Cons: The wifi was slow and sometimes not available
Pros: From the moment i checked in to the moment I checked out, including dinner service and breakfast, everything was amazing ! And at a bargain price, the service here beats any expensive hotel in the area
