All went according to expectation. not cheap but what we wanted. Air con was important
Toured Central Bremen, saw the sights, had a swim suana , generally relaxed, ate good food There were some charges realting to watching TV. This was uk news . Normally pay per view is for films etc, maybe I m just behind the times
We were given an upgrade on arrival. A wonderful surprise. Excellent breakfast.
location needs renovation
everyone was very nice and helpfil N/A
Location, atmosphere and breakfast service. We were staying in a inside room whitout oossibility to open the windows
Breakfast excellent and bar staff very friendly We wanted to have access to a conference phone (ie a phone that could call multiple people) but none was available
nice clean hotel, good food in the restaurant, very helpful staff on reception. easy access to airport and trains
Comfort, breakfast, central location
excelent service from all the staff
the staff was very professional
Receptionist was so kind and attentive. I really recommend this hotel. I don't like the statues so much.
Everything! Can't think of anything that was less than perfect!
The hotel was "The top of the world"
Clean, modern room - quiet. Staff always helpful and polite.
very good location and good treatment by staffs, and breakfast was good quality Some difficulty to find its location by car. So some information would be helpful for the customer with car.
Hotellstaff was extremely helpfull and kind, - nice to stay.
The facilities, Cleanliness, location, and friendly staff.. most important point the AC
Breakfast was excellent, freindly welcome and overall an enjoyable stay. Difficult to find the entrance by car, no hotel parking - only a public car park nearby.. however, the staff will park the car for you.
Very nice spacious room with modern, functional furniture. The hotel is centrally located a few minutes’ walk from the centre of the city. Somewhat expensive breakfast and parking
Nice hotel, newly renovated, excellent position no WLAn in the room although it was written on booking.com that it is available. I had to use cable internet that was very slow
Good location, good service! Internet WI-FI not available in the rooms
This hotel is great! Clean, shiny, right in the centre of town, really great proximity to the charming Boetcherstrasse - we could listen to the glockenspeil out the window! Lovely. Take it!!
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, easy access to the shops and christmas market. On a saterday night at around 21:30 I ask for an orange juice and was told it would take about 15 minutes, and it would seem there was not enough staff, also breakfast a bit expensive at 20 euro,s per person.
clean rooms and good helpful staff tram noise all night
Good location. Good steak House next door Nothing with hotel. But at £4,oo + apint not cheap trip
Very poor style, narrow bathroom, you hear every noice coming from the hig street Bathroom, Bed, no modern temperature control
the position (only a few minutes' walk from the city centre and from the main station); the room, cosy, clean and quiet, with a comfortable bathroom; the breakfast buffet, rich and tasty
The Best Western Schaper Siedenburg is a very short and easy walk to Hbf train station, trams, the Marktplatz and Old City. We went for the Freimarkt Street parade weekend, so the City was busy but the hotel was still relaxed and quite. It was an ideal location for all the festivities and staffs were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable, clean and value for money.
Staff friendly and very helpful. Excellent location. Great breakfast, with a wide choice. Cosy and very well cleaned room. It definitely worths the price.
Location is good.
great staff was very helpful and friendly. room was very big and clean.
The appartment was great. Noisy at night. Don´t use the public p-house, which the hotel recommend. We´ve got the crashed window in our car and it seems happend all the time.
Good location near city, next to restaurant, cafes, bakery and pizzaplaces. Hotel`s breakfast was excellent. Familyroom was spacious and cosy.
Location No room service for food or drink and no tea or coffee making facilities
The standard and the service in this hotel is excellent. But the best thing is the location. It lies in the middle of where it all happens in Bremen. Just perfect! Nothing
Room was quite large. Breakfast selection was good. There is a tiny step between the bedroom and the bathroom which is very hard to see and is therefore dangerous if you trip over it and at least painfull if your foot hits it.
The location was excellent There is no air conditioning and the windows do open but the street noise is impossible in the early morning. I can't imagine what it would be like in a heat wave
Close to center of old town
As other reviewers say, and I confirm, it has anexcellent location 50 metres from the main square. Staff were most helpful and friendly. Breakfast was more than adequate to keep you going for the day. Breakfast buffet poorly positioned so that people had to squeeze past each other when busy. The Schuttinger kellar bar closed at 21.15 on Sunday night! I have travelled all over Germany and never encountered last orders at 21.00 hours.
The best thing about this hotel was the location.
Poor, because the room was very warm and I could not let the window open because of the flat roof just before my window.
Desk staff was very helpful, breakfast was not an extra. It was pretty hot in the room, not practical to cool down
It was in a great location. The room was very comfortable. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room also you could not sit at the mirror and do hair/makeup as the mirror was on the wardrobe door and there was no stool at the dressing table.
The smoking area in the Breakfast room was too close to the food bar, and made the area smell. Locate smoking areas, if you must have them at all, as far away as possible, preferably in an enclosed room where the clients can kill themselves without disturbing non-smokers.
Lovely elegant hotel, well positioned. Very helpful and cheerful reception staff. Good breakfast in a beautiful room. Very glad I stayed there. A tiny grumble as I appreciate people don't stay in their rooms much but no English speaking TV channel - not even CNN. Suggest BBC24.
The price The location while relatively central, was within the "red light" district part of the city. As a solo female traveller I felt uneasy at best and unsafe at worst. I ended up staying only 1,night of 3, and could not receive a refund.
Good location , helpful reception staff. Room clean and comfortable. Good value Breakfast staff could be more helpful
The location in regards to the central station and the city centre. Nice and "homy" rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. 24 hour open reseption. Narrow room.
good breakfast and service.Very organised hotel especially when leaving baggage
The staff is kind & helpfull, the breakfast was good. The single room I had was quite good.
Spacious room, very quiet both from traffic and other guests, reception open 24 hours
The staff was very kindly. Breakfast was good and suite time. It was very friendly we get breakfast also leavingmorning so early. The room was cleaned very well. I don't say anything.
Comfortable room. Clean bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Convenient parking lot. No negative recollections. Everything satisfactory.
Place, near from city center. The hotel cries for renovation.
A charming boutique hotel ideally situated in the centre of the city with a helpful and pleasant staff.
everithing was very good
Great location right in the old town market square. Tastefully decorated and clean rooms. Restaurant on-site. No real reception area. Very difficult to get service apart from check-in and check-out. Internet did not work in my room so had to use it in cafe. Staff not particularly friendly even though I was there as a solo traveller for 3 nights.
Super No bad points
Hotel Classico is central, small, friendly and comfortable. The rooms were well maintained and nicely decorated. The television had no English news channels.
The hotel was small and cozy but by far had the largest and most beautiful room of all the hotels we stayed in while we were in Germany.
It is down town Bremen Th eprice should be below 100 eu due to the fact that the hotel is based above a public restaurant.
The best thing I liked at the Hotel Classico was the rooms, the staff and location.
Although looking very poor, the hotel is surprisingly nice furnished and the very friendly staff make it a really nice place. However... You could hear the slightest noise in the corridor. Any late coming guest could ruin your sleep. The doors should be modernized. Also the view at the ladder was not too nice, but I do not think there is anything that could be done to change it.
Too many stairs "ups/downs" when you come with a lot of luggage. It is a pity that there is no restaurants "around the corner"
Helpfulness & friendliness of staff, excellent location. Boutique hotel.
breakfast is OK No hair-dryer in the bathroom,if You have big and hevy suitcase - it's a problem - elevator not support first floor, stops are between floors and the stairs are wery tight
Polite and helpful staff, homely atmosphere. Close to city centre. Excellent breakfast.
The closeness to the city-center and at the same time being a quiet place. The individual decoration, with style from the 19th century in the room. Very nice indeed.
My room was very nicely furnished. The room was quiet though very conveniently located near the city center as well as the congress center and main rail-station. Good breakfast buffet with a choice of fresh fruit, muesli, cheese, jams, etc.
The staff was more than friendly and the breakfast was really good. The environment was quiet and nice. The rooms were slightly chilly, we stayed there on October. The drain of the shower was somewhat blocked.
I can certainly recommend this hotel. The proprietors were attentive and provided an excellent choice of quality food at breakfast time. In addition the time during which breakfast was available would suit early morning travellers and those who prefer a later start to the day. I have no criticism of any kind with regard to the hotel. However, there are hotels closer to the hauptbanhof and this should be considered if intending guests are relatively immobile or need to transport heavy luggage.
The hotel staff were really pleasenat and helpful. None.
it was very clean and looked as it had been refurbished. the room was comfortable. i had 68 steps to climb to my room. there is no lift.no television in the room and no proceedure displayed either in the room or on the landing or stairs regarding evacuation in case of fire.
Convenient location, very close to the railway station; nice staff. It is a good place to stay for a night or two. Nice price. A single room is very small and the neighborhood is not very nice (not surprisingly, it is a railway station area). Noisy guests can be a problem: the walls are very thin so you can hear others talking.
We really liked the room and the furniture plus the fact that tea and coffee makings were provided in the room. Fantastic. It was very simple and clean and comfortable.
The sympathy of the staff, the atmosphere, the comfy breakfast and the clean room, overcome the tough bed and the minimalism of the comfort. The stairs are good to exercise. Nice for the price, if your stay is not too long.
Comfortable bed, warm room, good breakfast
Very clean and tidy, good-sized room (mine was a single) at a very reasonable city hotel price. Friendly helpful service with a secure bag storage room if you need it after checkout. Excellent buffet breakfast room. a very short (1 block - 3 mins) walk from the central railway/tram/bus station and direct 10 min tram ride from there to airport. City centre but in a quiet side street. Stair access only - not suitable for disabled travellers.
Excellent location at a reasonable price, the rooms were clean and newly decorated. Wifi connection was good. Staff were helpful and polite. Good place to stay near Bremen Hauptbahnhof, and within walking distance of Altstadt attractions. Although it is divided into separate hostel and hotel buildings, it is primarily run as a hostel so don't expect room service or 24hr reception. You have to check-in / collect your key from the hostel building admin office, then walk round the corner to the hotel building. They also had some problem processing my credit card, so I withdrew some cash and paid the next morning.
No lift. The room located on 4th fl.
Quite close to the station. Very clean. Nice touch plenty of tea and coffee in room on arrival no
A very pleasant overnight stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. Lovely tv, hairdryer and nice to have coffee in the room. Small room, but perfect for an overnight stay. Breakfast was also good and worth the price. I have already booked my 2nd overnight stay for when I next pass through Bremen. Nothing really, no lift, but I travel light, so no real problem!
