The Grade II listed Brighton Hotel is one of the most charming hotels in Brighton where you are guaranteed a warm and personal welcome. It is located on the seafront directly opposite the famous Brighton Bandstand and very close to the West Pier and to the site of the proposed i360 attraction.
We are just a short walk to Brighton’s main shopping areas, the famous Lanes with its cobbled passage ways and its myriad of little shops and boutiques, many of which are unique to Brighton. The Brighton Conference Centre is a five minute stroll away and we are literally a stone’s throw from the beach. The Brighton Hotel is a privately owned independent hotel that is large enough to have all the faculties you would expect but small enough to make you feel important to us and special.
The hotels elegant lounge, bar and restaurant have enviable sea views, a great place to relax and watch the world go by. The hotel has 55 well-appointed rooms, and while the hotel is right on the famous Brighton seafront it is just far enough out of the main center’s noisy bars and clubs to be significantly quieter than many other seafront Brighton hotels. High speed wireless internet access is available free of charge in all our rooms and public areas.
As an AA Metro hotel we offer Dinner in The Salisbury Restaurant available Wednesday to Sunday 6.30pm till 9.30pm and our Light Bite Menu which is available 7 days a week from 12pm.
Arrival and Departure Time: Our check in time starts from 3 pm and our check out time is at 11 am. For an early check in or late check-out we charge £10 an hour. For peace of mind, our reception is manned 24 hrs.
The rooms and en suite were small and the overall feel of the decoration was very second rate. The bathroom shower was stained and the taps stiff. The beds were small, not the king size advertised. The carpets in the room were stained and in the corridors were in a disgraceful state. More of a boarding house feel than a supposedly quality hotel.
The view was ok as we got an upgrade to a superior room.
The shower did not work and the floor of the room was unlevel.
really near all good places in brighton
Not very clean... Bed very uncomfortable..... Shower Not working properly.......Room very small.... Paid for a superior room hate to see what a standard room would be like there not very good standards
Excellent location, would definitely use again.
The location was excellent. Easy to find and a short walk from the Brighton Centre, which was my reason for the trip to Brighton.
The room was very small and very hot with not much ventilation. Parking was also an issue. In the morning, reception had to phone me to come and move my car so another guest could leave. I was parked ok, but the car park was so small that it was very difficult to park..... and it was £15 a night.
convenient location - good breakfast
excellant breakfast, helpful staff
position of hotel
lobby very poor - needs refurbishment. Hotel staff confused and not helpful
there should be no charges for parking on the hotel car park this has certainly put us off going there again at £36 per car we had 2 made it an expensive deal and could of got a better hotel with better facilities and parking included for what we ended up paying... you live n learn!!!
Friendly waitresses and good breakfast.
Reception area looked a little shabby and smelled of cigarette smoke.
