The amenities in the room were amazing. Small kitchenette, plenty of dishes. The steam shower was incredible.
The only positive about this hotel is " location" which is right by cannyons ski resort. They also have a " skiers service" which works like a charm. This is not an acutal hotel, it is a time share run by a management company. It does not have the same services as a hotel, the staff is mostly not helpful even rude, the house keeping never on time, the rooms not well-kept. There is not a nice place with good options near by or in the resot to have a breakfast. It is overwhelming big, loud and overcrowded. It is dominated by families with kids, it has three pools , one noisier and more impersonal than the other. The check in is at 4.0 ( do not count on anything sooner) where as the check out is at 10 ( they have an attitude if you ask for a late check out , the latest is at 11.0 with lots of attitude). The housekeeping did not clean my room till 4.0 PM the first day, the main door was stuck and the engineering did not show up for half an hour and after ten phone calls. Worst of all , the last night the alarms went off seven times , starting at 11.0 PM, no one came to our floor to calm the situation, we kept calling the reception which of course was busy. The last alarm lasted more than 20 minutes. There was not even an apology the next day before I complained, and when i told them why no one even came up to our floor to calm the situation down, the answer was that for resort with more than 600 unites, there was only one security guard and one person at the front desk. Does any one out there thinks this is acceptable for a large resort ? I will never come back again. The manager promised to return my money for at least one night, for the night we could not even sleep , let alone shaken, as of now nothing. If you have extramoney to throw out and be disrespected and aggrevated and not even get a proper sleep, you have to choose this resort. Of course , the next day, those of us who were paying customer were very upset ( not the time share people). In any other industruy, with this degree of misservice, we would have been at least compensated for our loss. Not even a sincere apology , not even a coupon for a coffee. There was no acknowledgment of the disturbing night the " Elk Lodge side" had the next day, one of the front desk people was even rude to me before he referred me to " justin " the manager. I was very unhappy staying there, spending a lot of money for being aggrevated. Could not ski or function the next day after that, after waking up over and over again by the alarms, no energy was left in me to be productive the next day. Just complained to the manager ( no result as of now) and get out of there.
It was a wonderful experience! The staff was so friendly and even brought up a birthday treat for my friend. The hotel was very nice andthe bed was so comfortable! I'd definitely stay there again!
The Hotel should provide drinking water to its guests at each room.
Chose the St. Regis for our anniversary and everything was top notch. From our Butler Tom, to the dining and atmosphere - if you are looking for an exceptional experience, the St. Regis is a good bet.
On checking in and without asking for it, the staff upgraded our room from a Studio to a wonderful 1 bedroom and we were pleasantly surprised. The grocery delivery was in our room and was super convenient not having to go to the grocery and take our precious time away from the slopes. Wonderful facilities for our ski trip, with the pool and spa on the same 3rd floor level which made it super accessible to use after a long day of skiing Park City and The Canyons.
The kitchen was nice with full size appliances. Jetted tub was good. Fireplace was a nice touch but we didn't bring our own fire log so we didn't use it. Carpet was dirty. The bedding was old and the 2 bed pillows were small and lumpy. The toilet would barely flush. Internet coverage was not great. The room had fresh towels on our second day and they emptied the trash but nothing else was cleaned. The pool and hot tub were full of unattended kids so we didn't use them.
Awesome place to stay with the family. Great staff and facilities. Ski to/from the door of the lodge. Great location in Canyons Village For some reason they don't leave extra toilet paper in the bathrooms. This small oversight is the only negative and would be SO easy to fix.
Good location in Park City. Room was clean with wifi. Room too light--blinds instead of drapes and lights from outside hotel glow in the room all night long. Bed not very comfortable. Also, the rooms HVAC seemed off with it getting very hot in the middle of the night and the system constantly turning on and off every few minutes. Hard to sleep with these issues so probably won't stay again.
Friendly staff, great location, and very comfortable. Best deal in town! Could be difficult to find parking at times.
First room they sent us into wasn't clean. Second room they put us in someone was already in there! Didn't comp anything or upgrade anything. Tried to get our money back for second night at noon and they wouldn't give us our money back. We will never stay there again.
I loved my stay, everything looked new and clean, it wasn't crowded or uncomfortable, everyone was friendly. Small workout room/pool area
The room and overall building was clean and updated. Great location. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, etc. Called before making our reservation online through Kayak to make sure we would still receive the military discount, whoever I spoke to assured me we would. Upon check in, the manager told me this was not possible and said we could get a discount next time (thanks?). We also had a room with a seemingly broken thermostat. The entire night it would not go below 77-78 degrees no matter how low we turned it. None of us got a good night sleep because of it. I advised the woman at the counter upon check out and she said sorry and the would check on it for the next guest. Super disappointed... Otherwise our room was very clean and nice. Customer service was disappointing...
