Spa outside was cold!
Convenience to town, staff very friendly, accommodation comfortable and clean. Reasonably priced facility.
The rooms were more than I expected. Will defenatly stay there again :) Was staying in the apartments and didn't like that I had to walk through the car park and reception area to get to the swimming pool. There was a door near my room that would have taken me straight to the pool area but it was locked. Maybe they could give a key to this door to the guests that are staying in the apartment area so they can access the pool area.
The location was convienient for everything that Byron has to offer. On the main street and only a short walk to the beach.
Nicely updated hotel. Quiet and away from the main action in Byron Bay but close enough to easily walk. Staff was great. Since our room had recently been updated, it still had some paint smell but it wasn't too overbearing.
The Location was great, close to supermarket, movie theatre(it was pouring with rain during our stay) just a short walk to the shops and beach. Was expecting slightly more up to date accommodation. Bathroom and Carpet very tired looking. Marks on carpet just made the whole room seem 2 star standard.
spacious and airy open plan, neat kitchen, very clean and it made me feel quite at home. could have slept a few people if on a budget. i would go back again. nothing comes to mind
The couple who run the Motel were most helpful during our stay. The rooms have every ameniety one could want, provided, including milk to make a cup of tea! It was a little further out of the main town than we had thought on booking, but it was so good, we would elect to return.
The rooms were clean and what to expect at that price
staff were very helpful, particularly as my baggage had been lost by the airline maybe it's a kiwi thing, but I haven't stayed at a motel before where you don't get supplied with face flannels and hand towels
Nothing about this place is desirable except for its proximity to town Run down, poorly kept, in need of complete overhaul by owners. Mgt staff was flustered and completely unknowlegeable about the place and the town in which it is located. Wifi doesn't work, noisy at all times of the night, bed is a piece of uncomfortable foam, ac had to be replaced during our stay. Staff gets upset with clients when approached about problems.
Good place to live with family Closure of parking after 2100 hrs
Liked everything especially the bed [queen] Needs an air conditioner
It suited our needs beautifully....could walk to the CBD/beach. Very quiet at night. Nothing. Were very happy.
Gated parking. Excellent facilities for the price. Liked the balcony for sitting outside
The room was clean, comfortable aand handy to everything. Our room was across from the reserve, we were woken at 4.30am by geese, ducks ? that did not stop squaking till after 7am. I would stay again but not in that room.
A delightful surprise to find such a friendly atmosphere. The new owners have done an amazing job in the two months since they arrived. The husband/wife team are giving attention to the small details that make a big difference. Excellent recommendation. When programming your GPS, note the location for this excellent hotel is WEST Ballina.
We really didn't stay long enough to appreciate the place, but I was surprised how quiet it was, considering it's proximity to the Hotel. Could easily have stayed there for an extended stay. Not that it is something to dislike the place for, and I'm sure all we had to do is ask, but a tea towel would have been handy.
The Managers were great and the room extremely clean.
Location to the beach, friendly staff, clean and comfortable, secure
Very Central to shops and the function we were attending at the Beach Hotel
The friendliness of your staff and the excellent facilities.
Management very off-hand. Facilities tired. Manager's dogs' barking woke us up. Over priced for what we received. Would not recommend.
Having been a regular visitor over the past years it was disappointing this time around. We stayed at Opal Cove Resort for much less in better comfort and classier surroundings. Thank goodness for the fine dining at the Sandbag Restaurant which made the stop-over worthwhile. Money pinching facilities in room and especially poor internal lighting.
