The reception staff were very helpful in organising tours for us and the common pool had a lovely temperature
The cafe was only open for breakfast. It would have been nice to have been able to order snacks and drinks while we were tanning or swimming by the pool
Very clean and comfortable resort, beautiful grounds and, if you take a "hotel unit", you get free breakfast. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and helpful. I would definitely stay there again
The 15min walk to Cable Beach.
The room was nicely presented - King bed, TV, tea/coffee, iron, ironing board, mini-fridge, good size bathroom with big shower, vanity and toilet. Quite clean and new look to it - although had a dead grasshopper on the floor of the bathroom for 3 days so limited cleaning between visitors by the looks. Bugs are part of the Top End so can expect a few of them though. Aircon is very good and a fan in the room keeps it lovely and cool. Pool large and nice. Breakfast - good range for continental - no hot breakfast options but not a problem as what was there was quite good - toast, lots of cereal options, pastries, tea/coffee, juice. Scooter hire from reception for getting around.
There is no restraunt in the resort for lunch or dinner - if you want to eat out at night need to do so closer to Cable Beach Resort or in town - hence have to have a vehicle or be happy to walk down poorly lit streets in secluded bush setting (dodgey) at night. Did not know there was no restraurant the first night I was there so when I enquired and elected to skip dinner altogether rather than walk around at night or have the hassle of cabs. The resort is at least 15 min walk from the beach which is difficult in the heat (40 degrees) so need a car or hire a scooter to go anywhere. In short - good if you have transport but if no vehicle - difficult - better off being closer to town or closer to Cable Beach Resort dining options.
The design and gardens were beautiful, the main pool a nice warm temp for the kids and the lap pool cold and refreshing. The villa was huge and great for entertaining.
The separation of the second bedroom was too far away for our young children (and separated by an external door which had to be locked?) - would have been fine for older kids or two couples though
Quiet and attractive site. Close to Cable Beach and easy bus transport into the centre of Broome. Large bathrooom - good room generally.
Restaurant only open for breakfast.
Beautiful design. Very private and quiet. Outstanding appointments and furnishings. Reasonable cost . Good restaurant
Bit far from anywhere needed a rentacar
great for a night or two
pool requires more shade, restaurant / cafe at hotel wasn't open
