Pros: Foundry Masters House is a gem; clean and comfortable in a lovely location. My breakfast was superb - I chose eggs benedict from an extensive menu and got home made mayonnaise, perfectly poached eggs and proper muffins. The owners are friendly and professional, and well informed on the history of the area.
Cons: The lack of a desk in my room to work on - however, the local hostelry had enough privacy for me to work securely while having a nice dinner and a couple of drinks. It's a hard life sometimes :-).

Pros: Breakfast was lovely, but I would have liked to have had a choice of fruit. Cook breakfast was excellent though. Evening meal, best meal I have had in a long time. Vegetables were freshly cooked and steak was done to perfection. Wine available was also very good.
Cons: Could not get the sky to work, although we followed the verbal instructions given and what was said in the very comprehensive folder giving house details etc. Room could have been dusted to remove cobwebs.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent friendly staff. Food in the restaurant is very good.
Cons: Breakfast was ok but would have liked a better selection. Think our expectations were high following the great food we’d had in the restaurant the previous evening.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The steak and service at dinner was exemplorary. The rooms are beautifucally decorated and the jacuzzi style bath was amazing. Great bar area and very friendly and helpful staff. The pub has been renovated to a very high standard and looks very trendy.
Cons: My only very small negative was breakfast. Ordered eggs benedict, both eggs were not runny, hardly any hollandaise sauce and the toast was cold so very dry and hard to eat without the sauce and runny eggs. If I wasn't in a rush I would of sent back and im sure it would of been resolved. I would still stay here again.

Pros: Food, staff and comfortable bedroom. This is my 3rd stay here and I will be staying again soon.

Pros: The good standard of the room and the quantity of the food.
Cons: There was private party in the bar and the music did not finish till midnight which was ok but it would have been nice to know this in advance to give us the option to consider the booking and not be presented with this once we had arrived.

Pros: Exceptional shower Decent tv
Cons: Car park was not close
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful little B&B - friendly, attentive staff and amazing breakfast. Perfect location with beautiful views. Would definitely recommend Thank you
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Thoughtful and friendly approach of the staff. The variety of unsolicited stuff in the room - sensible facts about Ironbridge, fresh cake and milk, biscuits and a small bottle of wine with glasses. Generally felt the team was welcoming and made us feel it was a pleasure to take care of us. The details of the photographs and the iron gate which was designed to copy the centre of the Ironbridge. All of this shows the owner and the team think about the venue and they care.
Cons: Creaky floors - due to being an old house. Not a location (bang opposite the Ironbridge, chosen by us deliberately) where one can open the curtains to look at the view without clothes on as the pavement is right outside!
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff were lovely and very attentive The location was stunning
Cons: You prattle on in your guest house folder that your saving the environment IE: water usage I had to fill the sink 4 times to wash my face!! I was promised a quilt but searched in the night and could not find one. I wanted to put it under me in an attempt to soften the matress as the bed was so hard I was still awake at 5am in discomfort. The bed was ridiculously hard. My cups were filthy, after washing them in the bathroom the dirt still wiped off on a towel. The bathroom was amazing but building dirt and dust was everywhere. I have asthma and fine dust triggers attacks. Breakfast was poor. Cereal but no real choice. I had to settle for cold toast because we had be seated next to the entrance door which was open. We were also cold. Following this cold, hungry and very bloody tired we had a 200 mile drive after a mornings work
10.0 Excellent
Pros: very nice good
Cons: having to go home
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and great location
Cons: The room was to hot and we didn’t have the heating on
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was spot on, overlooking the bridge at breakfast. Staff were very knowledgeable about the area and were happy to help. The breakfasts were spot on, scrambled eggs were perfect and even if they weren’t they would advise what the delay was as they wanted them to be perfect. Had my birthday and picking up on the cards in our room Housekeeper kindly supplied a vase, very thoughtful. Comfortable bed.
Cons: The church bells were nice but they rang through the night and disturbed our sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the breakfast was superb, very filling everything freshly cooked. the location was tremendous overlooking the Bridge. on the main road but not bothered by traffic
Cons: i would have liked to stay longer but we had other places booked on our onward journey to London
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: The bed too low, mattress too thin, too hard. Shower too small. Toilet is wedged between wall and shower screen. Room floor has so many slopes it was difficult to negotiate. Stairs more like a ladder, yes, they are steep with narrow treads and banister so close to the wall at the higher point it is unusable. What was booked was not the same as what was available. Will not be in a hurry to use booking. Come again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice, wine and water was complimentary in the room and the location was perfect. Added bonus was they have a private car park a few minutes walk away.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Hazel provided a personal touch - I knew I would be arriving late so I was given her mobile number to keep in touch and I was welcomed with the offer of a hot drink, which was served in my room with home made cake. Prior to departure I was asked what time I would like breakfast, I suggested around 8am, and I was tucking in to my full English as the radio played the 8am 'pips'.
Cons: Nothing! I was extremely impressed and recommended to my business host that if they are suggesting a welcoming B&B for long distance travellers to use The Stanage. I will be back if I'm called back to Telford.

Pros: Lovely place to stay. Very friendly, excellent breakfast.
Cons: Our room was a good size, loved the wonky walls and floor as you would expect in an old house, it adds to the character. Our only criticism despite lovely clean fresh bed linen was that we did find the bed a bit too hard for us.

Pros: Staff were excellent - very efficient & friendly. Food was first class & service very good.
Cons: Room was clean & comfortable but is in need of some TLC - bath was quite high which made it difficult for my wife to access - perhaps rooms with walk in showers would be a benefit.

Pros: full buffet style breakfast. a choice of cold drinks hot drink choice is served to your table Plenty of choice, Continental and a help yourself cooked, cereals etc. For egg fans you can have your eggs cooked in various ways
Cons: Early breakfast is advised as the breakfast area although large can get packed out which can mean ques at the buffet stations.
6.3 Good
Pros: Reception staff were pleasant and smiley and the bed was reasonably comfy. The location was great and so was the WiFi connection.
Cons: The non slip strips in the bath were worn and dirty - needing repair or removal. The shower was poor - no pressure and dripped rather than a shower. Upon arrival both rolls of toilet paper were almost completely used up, normally you'd expect them to be replaced for new arrivals. At breakfast the waitress poured my tea into the mug and over the table. She mopped up the mess and replaced the wet cutlery but brought a dirty knife.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Extra comfy beds and quiet room
Cons: Advertised as a garden view it was not it was a metal roof zero view
8.0 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Pros: I have stopped here a number of times and the rooms are warm and comfortable. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The facilities are very good and the parking is very good. Its in a great location for the town centre and it is within walking distance.
Cons: The bar is very good, but the drinks are expensive. I think if they kept these more reasonable more people would use it. Other than that I had a good stay

7.1 Good
Pros: great location and lots of attractions very close by, we try to get here once a year and if possible stay on a sunday night for the vinyl night which is great fun, lots of old tunes played by a couple of great fellas
Cons: this trip the pub seemed a little different to usual, no landlord any more and less locals attending, we did have a fab time but more to do with the people we went with than the pub itself. we will definitely try again next year but if no improvement probably find somewhere else-worth noting there are alternatives that have nicer rooms right in the centre at £10 less per night
6.3 Good
Pros: Very good breakfast, pub food good.
Cons: Bathroom small, could have done with a thorough dusting
6.7 Good
Pros: The bed was comfy and the linen was crisp and clean
Cons: The ensuite was ready for updating
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, we ate in the pub in the evening and the food was great, breakfast was also good, freshly cooked and the 'small' was plenty big enough
Cons: Our room was quite small, bag had to go in the bathroom, but very comfortable and for 1 night it was fine

7.5 Good
Pros: Fabulous breakfast! Very nice pub, cosy!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good, not exceptional. It was a bit earlier than we would have preferred (but, in fairness, we didn't ask if they would do it later) The location is excellent for a tour of the Ironbridge Gorge & museums.
7.1 Good
Pros: Becky was very helpful. Breakfast selection was good. Bedding was of a good quality and bed was comfortable. Room had ample storage. B&B a good location to explore the area. Though placed on a main road, traffic disappeared during the night and didn't disturb sleep. Food and drink value for money. Evening bar snacks well received.
Cons: Drinks at breakfast weren't hot enough and eating area chilly. TV in Room 2 would be better placed opposite beds. Bathroom is tired and needs attention. Extractor fan not working, shower pressure/shower head poor. Intermittent power cuts.
7.5 Good
Pros: Food was good, beds were comfortable. Room could have been cleaner.
Cons: The shower was not very good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely traditional old property with lots of history. Very friendly staff especially Paul the Chef who catered for us for the four days of our stay. Excellent breakfasts and evening meals at a fair price. Ample free car parking. Ironbridge is a beautiful place to visit steeped in character preserved throughout the whole town.

Cons: Can't think of anything !
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We liked the B and B very much and Eileen is a lovely lady making us feel welcome and just like being at home. The bed was roomy and very comfortable and we enjoyed excellent breakfasts. Eileen recommended a local Indian restaurant for our meal on Friday night and it too was excellent.
Cons: Only on a very personal level because we live in an extremely quiet rural village the traffic woke me from time to time but not Michael as he is deaf in one ear anyway so could sleep on the other side so to speak!
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great food, lovely rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay again
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast great and served by very friendly staff. The position of the hotel is ideal for exploring ironbridge. The check in staff / bar staff were great. Nothing to complain about. The room we were given was bigger than expected. We had booked a small double but we were more than happy with the room and the towels and free toiletries were first class! Dinner in the evening was excellent.
Cons: Nothing really. Just missing a car park but parking is not a feature for many of the hotels etc. Car parks are reasonably near. Unfortunately Severn Trent had closed a vital road to the best car park and I know this closure is driving locals mad! Not the hotels fault.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Restaurant was very welcoming and although we didn’t have dinner there it looked great. Good breakfast
Cons: Mattress and the pillows were lumpy and our room was right above the front door and over the bar. This is fine if you are a night owl but not if you want to get to sleep before 12am. Husband had to go downstairs and ask the staff to turn the music down once all the customers had gone.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Meals in restaurant were superb and a pleasant surprise
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good sized room with a well equipped bathroom and a super sized shower. Helpful, friendly staff with a first class restaurant. Well located for the town centre. The breakfast was good too.
Cons: Nothing much to fault. Creaky floorboards maybe, but they are part of the charm of staying in an old building
7.1 Good
Pros: lovely breakfast and helpful staff !
Cons: No Parking ! Carpet in bedroom was stained and looked grubby could do with replacing . All pillows were hard
10.0 Excellent
