We bought the Elopement package from this place, and loved it. It was everything that was advertised. My sole complaint was that the food was either too simple at times, and more importantly the sandwiches and such were too ornate and pretty. We had these (I hope I remember this correctly, but I know the spirit here is right of what I am about to say) ham and cheese with appl slices grilled sandwhiches for a meal there delivered to our cabin. It struck me that they were trying to be fancy and nice, but the truth is, i would have rather had more basic, traditional fare that was well prepared than something this fancy. I am a simply guy culinary wise, and would rather had options on a steak or even a good burger. My wife and I found ourselves picking the apples out of the sandwich's. It seemed it was a balance of trying to make good food with minimal effort. They sent decent wine, and a good variety of snacks and such, but it seemed they hadjust gone to sams and bought the best gift food baskets they could and added sandwiches to match. Otherwise, this place was nice. I only knock it for the food selection, which honestly is nitpicking.... its a 4.5 out of 5. A hot tub would also have been nice to have that was outside of the suites, even if it is a cummunal one. We spent one night out there just wishing we had a hot tub on our outdoor porch (which was small, but reasonably private) where we could have soaked at looked at the stars.
