Don't let them do your laundry. It was 82 Euros for one medium size bag.
Nice Location, very clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Free high-speed Internet worked perfectly.
Close to the motorway, free WiFi and access to the internet, comfortable, free parking, efficient staff
The staff were very helpful !!!
Friendly staff. All facilities were of good standard. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant. The restaurant staff had pride in and offered a good selection of local wines. Bruchsal is a nice town with an interesting history and the castle is quite unic and within walking distance (10 min.) from the hotel. We paid € 155 for a standard double room, and we found that to be on the expensive side.
It was the right hotel for a one night stay. Not suitable for more than one night
Neighborhood were silent and calm, room and hotel were clean pay tv is not enough blocked - it's easy to push the button on tv pilot and it costs 15Euro not depend on time you watch, capacity of free parking for hotel guests was not enought - only 6 place for over 200 rooms...
Staff very helpful and friendly, room clean and comfortable, value for money excellent. Great pillows. WiFi in rooms should be free.
Easy access from highway
Noise from the McDonalds drive inn just under my room.
I am besically satisfied with everyting at my stay. Nothing special but if I may say, it was slightly difficult to find the entrance from the main street (McDonald sign only). However, it is not a big deal.
There is nothing to commend the hotel. You should remove it from your listings. No shower. No aircon. No room service. No facilities. No hot water. Appalling breakfast.
hotel presentation (photos) on booking.com is misleading
Friendly staff no washer/dryers on site or in town
The McDonalds nearby Smell of smoke in the lobby and downstairs hallways; the fact that the light in our corridor (we were at the end of a corridor) and the staircases had to be switched on every time.
everything was perfect.
We booked this hotel on going home from Italy to the Netherlands. Zoo in front of hotel and shops and restaurants are about 10 minutes walk. Good value for money. Price of breakfast is high.
Large room of good quality, good food Reception was not very friendly, small beds
The Hotel has a somewhat 70's outside "charme" but inside it is really nicely reneovated. The personal is very friendly and the breakfast (12 € per Person) is really woth it! The way to the Hotel is somewhat tricky, as there are a lot of construction sites in the City at the Moment.
Price. Room. Effectivness of wi fi connection. Parking too small.
This Hotel has easy access to the tram system and is near the underground. Shops are 500 m walk away. There is no bar or food available between breakfast and 1700 hours. The Hotel is more suitable for business people, than tourists, and lacks a fitness centre. The car park charge is 10 euros a day.
Quiet surrounding, conditioned room, Shower-head too low, bed too soft
Everything! Loved it!
Room was very small and warm. Window could not be opened.
the staff is very helpful. Espesially Mr Ihsan ....
Service, Clean very comfortable rooms
Staff were nice. Good, yet expensive, Italian restaurant. Parking fee and the separate charge for breakfast, which was not a good value.
they always care for your stay very comfort any let you feel that you are not allon and at home thank you very much
Very tasteful deco and really soothing energy in the room. One of the best mattresses! Narrow space for toilet and shower.
Clean if a little faded around the edges. Probably in need of a little updating but for the price then no complaints.
I had never stayed in this hotel before but it was a good stop off point between the channel and southern germany. I thought £40ish for a 4* hotel was pretty cheap. From the outside I was disapointed, its on a busy street joined to a supermarket. However, the hotel is a bit of a hidden gem. Large reception area in marble with an art deco theme, cocktail lounge and basement italian resteraunt. There is free parking on the roof, classed as insecure and secure parking for a fee in the underground garrage. There is always space on the roof and access is more or less restricted so I parked there. The room was large and spotless with good a/c, flat screen, mini-bar(useful fridge)and, not common in Germany, tea and coffee tray in the wardrobe. Staff could not have been more helpfull. Use of well equiped and underused gym club next door for free. 4* hotel at a budget price with a lot of extras thrown in. Liked it so much I stayed there on the way back as well! 10 minute walk to main shopping area. If you park on the roof at about 3rd floor level, there is no lift just walk down the stairs or the ramp.
It was comfortable and convenient for our business location. The restaurant menu was somewhat limited
Excellent receptionist: helpful and proactive
Friendly welcoming staff at reception. Easy to find from railway station, Close to City Centre Price for breakfast rather too high.
The staff has always been helpful and friendly. Public areas could be modernized. Free parking on roof must be accessed via supermarket next door.
central hotel close to facilities in the town
everything: services, breakfast,cleanliness ,.... No
Very value for money
Location near tram station. Access to the rooms.
Room was modern, clean, and quiet. Staff was helpful.
The stay is very comfortable. Not noisy. Room service done everyday. Breakfast is very good. The WiFi was troublesome and was not working most of the time. Even after complaint to the Hotel Staff it was not taken care of. Besides the washbasin kept getting clogged and despite complaint no action was taken.
Great price, good location. A smelly bathroom can ruin your stay. A clogged shower makes it even worse. The hotel is pretty big, and the building has two sections: one of them seems to have been an apartment building in the past, which the hotel recently acquired. It looks like they had to install en-suite bathrooms to the rooms, and they messed up. Be sure to ask at the reception for one of the "classic" rooms, since the recently adjoined section doesn't yet have the quality the rest of the hotel seems to have.
60 Euros for double room (two peoples) including a nice breakfast, free internet in the room, beds comfortable and very clean, I will say yes.
Good location, close to both the city centre and the train station. The main hall (where breakfast is served) and the rooms are in two separated buildings. This is not very convenient.
The breakfast was ok The linen on the bed was clean, I decided agaianst looking at the matress for fear of what I might find. The room was dirty with enough hair on the floor to create a wig!! There was an old cooker and filthy cupboard in the room for no apparent reason. The shower cubicle doors were faulty and one actually fell off.
I felt like I was in a safe environment and it was within walking distance to shopping and sites
This hotel was a great place to stay during our short trip to Karlsruhe. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. The staff was also very helpful, and spoke excellent English.
Very helpful and attentive staff, great food & comfortable, immaculately clean rooms. Perfect location if you are going to concert at Stadhalle, which is just next door. Recommended!
The breakfast was really great
It was close to the Theater It was too warm in the room, there may have been something wrong with the A/C.
It is a great hotel. It is very modern and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Great business hotel very close to the congress center, fabulous breakfast (19 eur pp), quiet spacious rooms, 10 minute walk to city center, close to a large park. Expensive Wi-Fi (didn't use it).
near city center..modern rooms...they have good holiday rate internet is expensive
Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Room was very comfortable. Excellent location. No
Great Location, on the Park convention to Market Place & Train Station.
Cleanliness of the room, design of the bathroom I would not rate this as a four star hotel. The lobby looks very dated, there are hardly any additional services (e.g. no pool, no fitness, hotel bar closes at midnight), and if you're there in summer prepare for a hot and steaming night. Both the main hotel and the dependence opposite the street are very hot and do not feature airconditioning.
Good bedroom, modern, well equipped, decent size. Helpful, friendly staff. Good breakfast in spacious dining room. We did not eat at the Hotel but receptionist happily recommended an excellent restaurant a short walk from the Hotel.
Fantastic personel - always smiling, always helpful, great breakfast, great location! Nothing to complain!
The Hotel Rio is conveniently located for visiting the city center and for visiting other surrounding places (20 minutes from BadenBaden and 30 minutes from Heildelberg). We stayed in the new building and our room big, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was fantastic with a massive walking-in shower. the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious and abundant breakfast. Good price for parking the car,
The room is large and clean. Specially, the dinner in the restaurant was very delicious!
Close to Karlsruhe town center. Smell of cigarette smoke (room was above hotel entrance where the smoking guests gather around the installed ashtray).
its close proximity to the tram network. Easy to walk into the city centre. Close to place of work
Friendly and efficient staff, nice atmosphere at the hotel, dinner in the restaurant was delicious and breakfast also good
the swimming pool and the wellness center
Sensational room with a vast, extremely comfortable bed. Large bathroom with marble walk-in shower and full size, extra deep bath. No dvd player. And the rate offered by Booking.com for a suite was actually for a deluxe double. Fortunately the hotel upgraded us for a special price as there was one suite left available.
excellent restaurant, very helpfull staff
the room was vey clean and modern, equiped with all the facilities you need. breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. modern and clean hotel room 203 is too close to the reception and bar and there is no wall or hall door in between, so we had a lot of noise and little sleep. there were not enough parking spaces.
I did pay 260€ for one night in the smalest single room I have ever seen (and I travel every week for diferent places in the world). Too expensive; low quality.
American style breakfast-scrambled eggs, sauage(links+paddies), bacon, outdoor sitting area No washcloth to use in the shower
The staff was very friendly. The hotel was modern and groovy. The breakfast buffet was hands-down the best ever. Loved the gummy bears around the lobby. The extra bed in our room was not that comfortable, but this was to be expected.
It was a very well designed and comfortable hotel. The free internet was very useful. Moreover, I have not had such breakfast before. Thank you. The hotel is a little far from the city center but you can reach there in 5 min. by a public bus.
The carpet in the room was very wet, it seemed that the previous occupant let the water out from the shower and it went out into the room, it was saturated for meters around the bathroom door and because of this the room had a nasty smell.
Excellent italian restaurant 5 mins walk Building works woke us at 7.20am
Nice and friendly staff. Good facilities
value for money, good location
The Hotel Aviva is extremely new and clean. The design is very modern and open with many windows and 'hip' lamps, chairs and other furnishings. The bathroom is large and clean. The breakfast, which is included, is incredible, with anything you'd like including bacon and eggs, cereal, yogurt, etc etc. During a particularly hot spell here, we asked the staff for a fan (ventilator), which they didn't have, but they promptly went out and bought many fans. The wlan/wifi is free and easy-to- use. All around excellent hotel.
Hi ceilings, very spacious rooms. Nicely quiet and close to the central station Equipment in Fitness outdated and not functioning very well. Extremly expensive internet
Central situation, comfortable, suprisingly quiet. Ideal for a business visit to Karlsruhe - trains, taxis and trams on the door step. no
Traditional hotel atmosphere with a small library and good facilities in their junior suite - really a large bedroom with seating for three to four people. The small bar allowed smoking and there was no nearby seating to enjoy a bar drink without the smoke. The clothes hangers in the wardrobe were the no-thieving type and were extremely difficult to use. This four-star hotel should provide conventional hangers as many others do.
The hotel was very neat, the rooms and bathrom were spacious, the decore is charming. The breakfest, served in a beautiful room, was divers and in best quality. We had a diner in thr hotel restaurant; it was delicious and well served
Very good breakfast selection
I was only in the hotel for 9 hours, but I was impressed by the attention given to me by the staff. Only that my room was too warm
The staff went out of their way to accomodate our needs. They were extremely friendly and the service was great. I would have liked to see boiled eggs at breakfast instead of just poached or scrambled( those were not cooked enough for our style or taste).
Very pleasant indeed and the staff were both articulate and friendly
Request made at booking ignored. Night receptionist was incredibly rude.
Very good breakfast - beautifully presented!
This hotel was very nice the resturant had great food the beer was good. The room was very nice and modern and clean. The staff was very helpful ,we liked that the hotel has a garage underground. Everything you need is right there at this hotel rest, food, and drinks.
very pleasant staff and agood hotel
Almost anything and I'd like to reccomend for those who like modern style and comfort. The parking fee could be free.
The Personall of the Hotel were very kind. Below of the Hotel, there is Bar Restaurant that can be very loud for the Hotel rooms
High standard of cleanliness and inspiring design. More light in bathroom, was a little dark.
Cool design, beautiful hotel. Loved the automatic blinds. I am American and wanted a hardboiled egg, not soft. That is all.
Very nice, polite and helpful service, great breakfast, very clean and quiet :) Brewery is in the house was really great! no, everything was perfect!
Wonderful room, wonderful breakfast, friendly staff from housekeeping to the front desk (who all speak English!) - I've stayed there 5 times and can't wait to go back!
hotel staff location shops tram system and how close to the major road network but in a small town / free up grade to a better room on arrival. football is always on TV in the main bar, hard to get a table in the bar as its always so busy
Comfort of room, quiet, clean, large room, good work area, parking on site, nice breakfast. Restaurant menu was not up to the same standard as the hotel. They are trying to do some strange German/Italian fusion and to my taste, it doesn't quite achieve the desired result. If I stay here in the future, I will go to an outside restaurant.
The staff are excellent. Surrounding town has plenty of facilities. Slight inconvenience that restaurant is only open Monday-Thursday, BUT there are excellent restaurants in Bad Schonborn.
A very good hotel for those who come by car - the motorway is very close. Very clean, new, comfortable and soundproof. The air conditioning does not work in the rooms and it was a very - very hot summer ! The fan we had in the room did not help !
Helpful friendly staff, good food, convenient location, average room, but with excellent panoramic views which are a 'must see'.
Very cosy hotel, friendly staff and brilliant kitchen.Comfortable and very clean room. A little noise from the street, when the windows are open.
The staff was polite, welcoming and helpful both at the reception and in the restaurant. Rooms were immaculate, and parking in the basement garage, while not free, was given at a modest rate and was very convenient. A fine experience.
Location High charges for period during German gp, but typical for hotels in area!
Cleanliness, breakfast , value for money 20 min drive from Heidelberg. No easy access with public transport
Nice hotel, comfortable rooms and a rich breakfast. OK for an overnight stay, with fast internet. Parking not free, but not too expensive.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, spoke excellent English. Breakfast was amazing. The "fitness center" was a joke, although the surrounding area is great for running and cycling.
The room was quite large and very clean. Nice location.
Room was spacious and clean. Staff were efficient, and there were convenient trollies for luggage, as well as an excellent varied breakfast of both hot and cold food. As we were next to an exit, we had a lot of noise in the morning from deliveries arriving at the hotel.
A good place to prepare the Kraichgau triathlon.
It was clean and they had service in English and also had some TV programing in English Out of the way, I would have prefered being closer to Heidelberg
The staff was excellent, friendly and accommodating to all my needs. The room was clean. I have high standards when it comes to cleanliness and this hotel met my standards.
The hotel has a very good position near to the highway, the facicilies are ok. When you book and pay!!! A room in advance with 1 week and at your arrival the lady from the reception says that she don`t find your reservation ... It`s quite terible !!! But in the end, after she was upset why I`m asking to check what I pay 1 week before, and with the kindness help of booking staff everithing was ok !
It was a clean hotel.
The staff were very friendly. I was on a business trip and the location for the highway was fantastic. Restaurant being open until 10.00 p.m was a big help, I didn't arrive until 8.30 after a long day and to be able to eat good food was very nice. I tried to watch Sky Sports on pay channel but couldn't get the system to accept my room number. All instructions on the TV were in German
comforable rooms and good food we didn't like the dining outside by swimmingpool, there must be also the opportunity for dining in th restaurant. After discussion they arranged for us 2 places in the restaurant after complaining.
We had a Club room and thoroughly enjoyed it. The beds were the most comfortable we've found in Europe. It is a basic Holiday Inn but it was clean, comfortable and easy to sleep. It was convenient to the autobahn. We would recommend the hotel. The internet was terrible. It was expensive and then would not work with a Mac. We were over 2 months in Europe and this was the first time this had ever happened. Thankfully, the hotel reimbursed my internet expense.
The Breakfast was the best buffet breakfast I've had at a hotel. Very good and had eggs/omelets cooked to order. Pool water was very cold...too cold to even get in.
Everything was amazing; the food, wine tasting, the staff, breakfast, sauna and pool area. My friend and I loved this hotel will be visiting as soon as possible. It is a nice getaway with either a good friend or spouse. I wouldn't recommend it for children.
the room was very comfortable and the sweets on the pillow a nice touch. the shower was a treat. The staff in the restaurent were very offhand. We had a long journey ahead and needed to leave at 7am we were told it was to early to check out and we couldnt have breakfast !!!
The surrounding area was lovely, the staff was very polite, private parking made me feel more secure,
