Proximity to Airport Accomodations Friendly Staff
Proximity to airport, modern, clean, typical Novotel business hotel It's not quite at the airport, no shuttle. You have to take a city bus from the airport to get there and it takes you 15 mins - inconvenient. The internet wasn't working well or at all, which, for a business hotel, is not acceptable.
Price for parking is very expensive. Internet connection is very low and poor.
So clean, modern and welcoming all around. Parking is insanely expensive and breakfast at 21 euro per person does seem over the top. On the plus side, the breakfast was good.
I think that this hotel should have shuttle to the airport. Breakfast is good but very expensive.
quite They don't have free shuttle bus from airport.
Convenient location and helpful and friendly staff Expensive
How easy it was to get there and to public transportation. The rooms were really clean. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. There was no small store nearby to by things we forgot (baby items, soap etc)
Very good location if you have a very early flight out of Munich. The bus stop was less than 100 meters from the exit and the total bus ride was about 5 minutes to terminal 1. A shuttle would be nice, but the bus comes every 20 minutes. The non smoking room was clean and was more spacious than expected. While this is probably a no-brainer for the seasoned traveler, the 25 euro buffet for dinner was unsatisfactory. In hind-sight we should have ordered room service with the fee, it would have been cheaper and possibly more palatable.
Expensive parking (21 eu p day), close to airport but not AT airport. Need to take bus to get there.
The staff at the front desk and the cleanliness of the room. Bathrooms were well equipped Staff at the bar wasn't too nice and seemed a little overwhelmed with not that many customers
atmosphere reservation made 2 months before, yet rooms in backyard; after repeated complaints one excellent and one rather fair room available.
superb location with parking, english spoken well, very comfortable rooms and great food. Will use this hotel again.
Staff was helpful and they spoke English. Hotel was unique and kept up. Food was very good. Location was in the center of the town. It was also close to Munich airport,Munich,Passau,Salzburg and other nearby towns.
The choice of breakfast was good
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the decor was very pretty and the room was comfortable, the breakfast buffet was extensive and very tasty. For the money, this is the best hotel in Germany I have stayed at.
Pleasant hotel in an excellent location in the centre of the town. We were able to eat in a very nice courtyard. Parking was convenient. The room and the bathroom were rather crowded, and very warm in hot weather.
The staff were fabulous, especially one waitress who morning to night was so nice and served me a fabulous chianti! Rooms fab and wine very good. Visiting German family and ideal location. Breakfast- they started clearing up 20-30 mins before the time given. No menus so unsure what we could order for breakfast. Also vey stern 'fraulein' who said no toast but a fab waitress who bought us a very nice eggs and toast breakfast way before the cut off time!
Friendly staff, knowledgeable about the town and transportation and helpful. good breakfast
The atmosphere of the hotel was great.
very convienient to historic old town and easy access with bikes.
Nice hotel near by the Isar River. Clean spacey rooms where we could sleep well. The old city centre is within a few minutes walking and there's a good train connection to München as well. When we made the reservation we thought this was a Spa Hotel. It turned out the pictures were from another Linder Hotel in Switzerland... We thought that €18 for breakfast per person was quite pricey (it was not included in our reservation).
We had a really nice view from our room. The church and the castle. The Small bed
Very nice (if you are looking for a modern hotel) and good value for the money.
A quick taxi ride to the train station, an easy walk to the old city, and closeness to the airport at Munich. Hotel staff's English was excellent. Limited number of cable channels-nothing at all like advertised. Charge for internet. Huge price for breakfast, so we ate out. While waiting for a cab I enquired about a cup of coffee. The person at the desk said I was welcome to one, and they would put the charge on my room bill. Price of airport shuttle is not disclosed on your website, not even a hint of a charge.
Hotel is modern and comfortable near the river. Center of town is near (five minutes by walk). I didn´t understand to staffs. I was given reduction in price first day, becauce I stayed here with small children. I payed immediately. But third day, I had to pay off full price. At a time discount doesn´t exist. Notice: the breakfest is absurdly expensive.
staff tried to co-operate in english
The location of this hotel is ideal for staying in Landshut. A short walk across the bridge will bring you into the town centre. 2- 3 mins. Car park daily charge 7.50e. Hotel has a dated decor but it is clean.
Quiet environment, big room, spa ok
Peaceful. friendly staff Had to pay for use of teabag and coffee in room, these are normally complimentry.
Comfortable, with all the features business travelers would expect. A bit more than mature travelers on holiday need. Pricey!
It's location. It is a few miles from the airport, but easily accessible bu bus and much closer than Munich. It is in the charming small town of Freising.
Great Marriott facility, convenient to Muenchen airport.
Great staff and very comfortable. Nice little town with a good train service to Munich. It's not that close to the airport - around 15 mins drive, although there is a bus service.
Very overpriced relative to other local hotels. It's not really near the airport (20 min drive) so expect a 25 Euro cab fare. My room was clean visually but had a strong mildew smell. I didn't eat at the restaurant or have breakfast so I can't really comment on the food, but for $200 bucks you're much better off staying either in downtown Munich or closer to the airport, depending on your needs.
the hotel is good for familly
Emergency response by staff during a citywide power blackout.
It was close to the train station, Friesling's city center, free breakfast was good, decor was nice and the beds and room were very comfortable. The staff at the desk were very nice and helpful. There was a shuttle for a reasonable price to the airport which is what we needed. They did not clean out the garbages and ash trays outside of the elevators so it stunk when you got off the elevator, the hotel had a pool party the first day so you couldn't swim that day and they were very unfriendly. They promised food and there was none to be seen.
Comfortable, clean and access to the international air port.
wellness facilities are great
The bed and pillows Long wait for service for dinner, even by European standards, the head waiter was apologetic and I had not even made a complaint, breakfast too expensive
Lovely non smoking hotel right in the middle of town, the room we had was very quiet modern and clean. recption staff were very friedly and helpfull
Staff was very nice and friendly!
Location was good - right in the historic Neustadt. We turned up to check in at midday to find reception - and everything else - closed until 1pm!
very nice location, kind hotel staff, cleanliness, comfort
Nice, clean place with a good breakfast. Very hard to find a close place to park a car.
good location in the city center no parking, no smoking room or area, small breakfast
The hotel staff (at desk) were extremely helpful and polite. Rates for internet access (in room) were quite expensive
Staff very very nice. They helped me for everything I needed. the position of the hotel very near to the center, station, restaurants. the possibility to have breackfast 24 hours per day no babybed avalaible. One 4 stars hotel without bar/eating isn't possible (bar service only in sommer or better....by summer wethear!!! )
Very nice staff. Easy access to hotels, train, and the airport.
The Reception and Restaurant staff were very obliging and helpful with a pleasing personality.
It is classified as an airport hotel, and Booking.com labels it as 6.3km away from the airport, in fact it is more than 10km away; also, the offer called "Park, Sleep & Fly Offer - Double Room" included an airport transfert for one person only and a charge of €18 for the other person, which is exactly the price for a taxi ride, so we eventually paid for the transfer of both of us, which can't be considered fair practice!
Hotel decor was attractive. Bed was covered with a duvet intsead of a bed spread, making it easier to provide a clean bed for each new guest. Breakfast buffet included a variety of fresh foods and hot entres and the coffee was freshly brewed. Two minor things. There was no coffee pot or hot water pot in the room, and only one English language TV channel. I was there in June and the weather was cool, but in late summer, the lack of AC might be a factor to consider before booking.
not liked at all. I sent a complaint email to the hotel, they sent a rude reply letter. This is so unhappy to see a service-sector company at 2010, they are running the hotel with an ancient mentaility and not customer oriented.
The staff was excellent, accommodating and very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is also excellent - it is an easy walk to the university, to the downtown area with bakeries and restaurants, and also to some of the sights of Freising. the room didn't have air conditioning and it was quite stuffy on several warm days, but was relatively easy to cool off at night with the open window and the fan. As a business traveler, I also prefer staying in a hotel with a gym, but I didn't look for/check on this before hand, so this was my own problem. That said, there are some nearby trails where you can go walk/exercise, which is probably even nicer than a gym, anyway.
Staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable Room became very hot in the middle of the night, but nothing that couldn't be fixed by opening the window.
Compact but very good room planning
Breakfast was delicious and versatile. Service Personnel at breakfast very professional as actually most of the stuff too. Very harmony like business hotel.
the service was great and the care for detail was really noticeable, hence the feng shui name.
Great location. Good breakfast. No elevator. No alarm clock. Very noisy at night with drunken people in the street between 12:30 am - 3:30 am all three nights. Side note about village. No shops or resaturants accepted USA credit cards. (Hotel accepted credit cards) Brewery Tour cancelled. Terrible Gift shop at Brewery. No free tastings. Traveled 4,000 miles. Stayed in Freising for that reason.
The location was satisfactory The bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable. I now have a sore back.Althought he hotel is advertised as having a restaurant, the facilities were extremely limited and on a Friday night, the restaurant was only able to offer cold food and no coffee
This neat hotel has an extremely nice internal garden where they serve meat grilled on the open air, under the shadow of old, big chestnut trees. A car is needed to reach the city center. No elevator, and nobody from the staff offered to help carrying the luggage
Theh cleanliness of the hotel and the quality of the food. Directions to it - as a stranger to the town it was difficult to find.
Simlply access from highway, family atmosphere, pleasant and quiet surroundings, adequate price Weak offer of warm dishes in hotel`s restaurant
The owners of the hotel could not have been more welcoming. The Breakfast room is so cheerful and bright, their outdoor facilities (beergarden) are certainly ideal for families - children´s playground, large garden with flowers and lawn - absolutely wonderful. We will definitely plan to stay there again! no
Late at night we could not find the hotel the wife of the owner drove to our location to guide us in
A charming hotel close to the station and a short walk from the centre. Extremely friendly and welcoming, nice atmosphere, lovely room with much character, first rate breakfast, attentive dining room staff.
Always enjoy the Romantik Group hotels standards Sorry to find unannounced the restaurant closed on Sun. the day of arrival
Mostly everything. The staff were very nice and helpful. The service was excellent. Rooms was nice. Strange though to have a 'blue' bathroom !! Great to have a breakfast included in the total price. It is an old hotel, but the room we stayed in was very nice, with carpet on the floor. My friends room was not carpeted at all. The only think I could really fault was that there was no night receptionist should we have needed one, and the biggest thing was that there was no bar or resturaunt open as it was a Sunday.
Cleanliness and efficiency of staff.
the building of "modern history", stylish, beautiful and comfortable rooms, cosy inner yard with tables. private parking is a big plus. really a romantic hotel! the breakfast could be more varied. very wet shower-room long time after having shower
Everything at very good level. Restaurant offer a bit limitated and expensive (dessert 12-16€ for example), but high quality.
Room we stayed in definitely had a style, was very clean. Personnel very friendly. Breakfast good quality. Arrival on Sunday evening: Hotel seemed closed / deserted. Expected more proficient staff.
Upon our arrival, we were given information on the Altstadt. We thoroughly enjoyed the short walk to the Old City. There are lots of shops and restaurants in this area. The hotel itself is romantic! The breakfast was fabulous! We did not have our supper at the hotel but the menu looked wonderful. We had a third floor (fourth floor in Canada) room facing the back of the hotel. I had the best sleep! The hotel does not have an elevator. For us, that was a good thing.....we were able to work off some of the great food we ate while in Germany.
Very clean and great staff. Cozy, close to Landshut to explore. Not happy at all with the church bell ringing at a minimum of every hour all night. Kept me awake all night.
I found the hotel friendly clean and comfortable. I wanted an easy stop over it was ideal for my needs No
recommended! but try to get a room on the more quit backside....much traffic in the front.
Very friendly 10th generation owner. Very nice room and excellent breakfast and evening meal in Gasthaus. Recommend it highly!
Within walking distance of the train station and also one could use the bus. Could walk to old town from Hotel which was very nice. The hotel was very clean and the rooms a nice size with good size private bath. Excellent buffet breakfast included. The staff were friendly. Dinner could be purchased at their restaurant and was superb.
The staff were excellent and made us feel at home but in luxury. So close to the train station and such a wonderful town.
The breakfast was good, but the staff was not too friendly even though I spoke German to them. The hotel room was ok it seemed old and dirty, The worst part is that the hotel is on a busy street and with no a/c in the room we had to keep the window open to get cool air but the noise from the street kept us awake all night. Would not go back to this hotel there are better choices in Landshut
Friendly and helpful staff, good food, comfortable hotel room, convenient for drive to Josef Straus Munchen Airport. No dislikes.
Close from train station and not too far from city centre (10-15mins walk). Shower in room 4 need serious attention but other than that comfortable place to sleep.
The tea and cake to enjoy after a long hard day, breakfast buffet was very good
Excellent food and friendly stafff
Friendly staff, good food and good value for money. Traffic noice.
We have seen the town and the festival. Indeed Lanshut was a half day station in our journey to Strasbourg We propose a "lift" behinde the building to rooms. If not to persons, at least for baggages.
Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Manager spoke very good English and was very helpful. The food at the restaurant was wonderful! I also liked the location -- easy access to train station and to the autobahn, and only 35 minutes by car to the Munich airport. No, it was great!
Helpful service, free internet
The staff were fantasstic - really friendly and could not do enough to help us
Only 10 minutes walk from the Altstadt, with sufficient parking space and easy access to the main routes out of town.. A clean and tidy Gasthaus (but they mostly are!) at a very reasonable rate. The staff were helpful and courteous. Good fresh bread and coffee for breakfast. Like nearly all German hotels, the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room is a minus.
Hotel staff is very helpful. Though the location is just out of the city, it is a walking distance. Rooms are neat and clean.
helpfull staff, free w-lan, very good coffee, big room
Proximity to railway station and bus routes. Located very close to historic city centre. Room clean, comfortable and spacious.
Room very clean, bathroom facilities newand with a great hairdryer (2000 watt!!!), excellent restaurant, staff very friendly, big parking space ( free of charge ). No minibar, no lift
The rooms were large and clean. We arrived very late and the owner was so gracious to get out of bed to let us in. It was a great find!
Gasthof Lerner was easy to find, clean, had every amenity and the staff were more than helpful with all we asked. Definately recommenable.
Very nice, comfortable room. Good breakfast. Convenient city bus to RR station.
We were very satisfied with the rooms and also that there were a parkingplace for our car close to the hotel. First of all it was a bit difficult to find the hotel. Also even if it was a Sunday breakfast room could be open as a normal weekday and when we came to the breakfast not everything was ready.
building yes, the washbasin is located in the room while toilet and shower are in the in-room toilet, I would much prefer that washbasin would be located in the same toilet; the room is small; Internet content filtering and max usage rules makes hard even read international newspapers
Very good restaurant (bier garten) with traditional Bavarian food and beer. Pleasant staff we are thankful to. Very small room with not enough space for two persons just to move inside with no bumping each other.) No air conditioning. Very hot all night long. We'd got the corner room that was terribly noisy!
Excellent treatment from all staff, great scenery, wonderful environment, good food and of course even better beer... what else could I say... I will definitely go back there.
the apartment are really nice and suitable for families.
Comfortable room, good restaurant, good breakfast, convienient to Munich airport, only a 15 minutes away.
Location close to Munich airport. Free parking on site. Excellent food in restaurant.
Close to the Munchen airport.
great price for a room during Oktoberfest too far from the airport
Sparkling clean hotel, very good value for money near the Munich airport, varied full breakfast buffet. None
It was very pleasant. Taxis from the airport were expensive. No
Breakfast was excellent and location for Munchen airport can't be beaten for the price. Little or no noise from the airport. The internet is through t-mobile, the furnitutre is in the 50's, the matress was in need of replacement. strongly recommend checking the matress before settling in room. Staff appeared disinteretsed in the guest, until approached.
Fantastic rooms, very good food, and a nice staff speaking English as well. Location is quite close to the airport by car or taxi, yet hotel is in a quiet town.
