Location is great, close to the city center; the room is very stylish, cozy and warm (there's a radiator with heat regulator), the bed is very comfy, nice bonus is coffee capsules in the room and coffee machine in the kitchen which is free to use. The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped. Nice terrace where it's allowed to smoke. And my special gratitude goes to Akim (sorry if I misspelled the name) for a warm welcome!
Good and cozy alternative to hotels
Internet speed was extremely slow. I had to postpone a video call because of it
The room was a bit too cold
Everything was very clean, very well decorated. It was a lovely place to stay. I really loved the style of the bedroom, it really is very chic. We never used the kitchen, but it looked like it was well stocked with all the pots and pans and stuff you'd need if you wanted to make breakfast or supper. You're pretty close to transportation, about an 11-15min walk, and theres tons of electric scooters lying around all over Brussels for you to rent as well. We had the LIME app before we came, and used the scooters a few times to zip around faster. But a word of caution for the scooters, you need to be on the road with them, with the cars. There are a couple restaurants that are close by that are worth mentioning (~15min walk). Manhattan Burger was AMAZING! The veggie burger was soooo good, and the hubby absolutely enjoyed his beef burger. CHEZWawa was a delicious cali-Mexican restaurant, where we had huge and delicious burritos.
The shared bathroom needs to be the first thing said about the room, instead of burying that information. BUT I will say, the shared bathroom situation was ok. We never had any problems with sharing, meaning, we never ran into the other people sharing it. Never had to wait for the shower or to use the toilet. So, in the end, it was fine, but I was surprised that it was shared because that information is buried in the description. And yes, the walls are very thin. But, if you bring ear plugs you'll be just fine.
Clean bathroom and well furnished kitchen
Not enough space to put on clothes. There is no place to put books and other belongings close to the bed, they have to be placed on the floor. For guests with tall height bed is uncomfortable
