Very good hotel for the price no
Good location; nice staff; Spacious lobby and bar gives relaxed athmosphere and room to relax. Rooms basic but clean
The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast room was an absolute horror, with hundreds of tourists fighting for food and a table. The facility is a disgrace to an otherwise decent hotel. The water in the shower was too cold and the pressure too low.
The AC worked great. Our non smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke.
It was very clean, great localization, in the center but no notice when you sleep! Loved it Liked it all
The staff were nice. The hotel is in a very seedy, unsafe area. The room was cramped and even though it was a non-smoking room, it smelled like cigarette smoke.
--the efficient check-in --the very large (by European standard) of the room --the absolutely excellent buffet breakfast included in the room price
The location was great and next to the centeral turistic spots. The staff was kind and allowed us to late check-out Excellent breakfast buffet. The room was cleaned everyday, and was fully equipped. WI-FI signal was poor and the room. There is no tea/coffee making facilities or bottled water in the room. I don't have antyhing else to say.
Excellent location, great price, good breakfast(included) The staff that received us wasn't so helpful and had a bad attitude
everything! The welcome by the reception staff, the cleanliness of the hotel and room, the ambiance, the breakfast service and the "black" head waiter who was very pleasant and graceful in looking after us. The restaurant prices. 5 euros for tap water served from a bottle. Martini served straight in a regular glass rather than in a martini glass.
Close to touristy areas It might be a 2 star hotel but that doesn't mean you skimp on cleanliness. It was also SO loud, even at 2am. When we called to complain about a domestic dispute in the room next to ours (throwing furniture and screaming) they said they'D get to it when they can. Didn't happen.
Great position: very close to the city center, to the main attraction and to public transportations
Near the center;the kindness of the staff;price worth
Very good location, close to Grand Place Easy to get there from the airport
Very quiet despite central location Streets around it covered with garbage. City workers on strike?
Location The internet connection because is paid.
The perfect location
This hotel is located very close to Grand Place and to Brussels-Central Metro station. The staff was very helpful. The rooms are clean ans have modern furnishings. We would stay there again. The Internet connection, Breakfast and the Restaurant were too expensive.
Location, hotel decor.
In the centre of the old town and very close to good but expensive restaurants. Also 2mins from grand place and shopping street. Rooms over priced but clean + comfortable. Good 30min walk from eurostation but Metro station just behind hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast Expensive room rate on weekdays. Not a bargain holiday. Room for 3 is a camp bed arrangement in a 2 bed room, so quite squashed with little floor space and inadequate wardrobe/ draw space for 3.
The warm welcome from the receptionist when we arrived and checked in. The location. The rooms are to hot and there's no way to change that besides opening window. When I called reception the staff were neither helpfull nor polite. The restaurant staff could not handle the amount of guests.
heating system in the room
There was no AirCondition.
very convenient location (North Station +close to underground). Very nice+ helpful staff. quite respectable+ spacious lobby, bar, etc. No fridge in the room. No iron. Room more like ***hotel.
Wery nice, komfortable, good food and service, quaert hotel in centrum hectict city. We like it!
Free weekend parking in Hotel,Not far from city centre 2 min by car. The Breakfast cost 20 Euros, I chose this hotel to enjoy spa,not worth. There is no chairs to relax, there is no proper changing room. For 180 Euros You can find better 4 star hotel .
Staff, Breakfast buffet. No swimming pool etc
The rooms were very nice and comfortable
Felt it was a 3 star hotel
staff, rooms and atmosphere in the restaurant and bar the web site says it is just 9 km from Vilvoorde, but it was long time to get there by car
Good location to the city Was not informed that our room would not have an air conditioning unit. It was 90 degrees in Brussels during our stay and they only provided us with two fans. It was extremely hot and very uncomfortable, when I filed a complaint they couldn't move our room until the very last night and only refunded me $25.
sophisticated furniture and atmosphere of room I prefer normal inner shoes style.
The comfortable bed, the nespresso machine, the location, the kind staff, We had a bathroom with the shower in the middle of the room, so that the whole room was flooded after the shower. The view of our room showed on the restaurant, we would have preferred another view.
Excellent value, room, price, hamman, sport, bathroom, nespresso and bed. I am in Brussel on a regular basis, but did not select for my next visits because price delta was to big with Radisson Blu (80€). For a smaller delta I would have selected The Dominican. Nothing
Great location. Great decor. The hotel truly conveys an air of luxury and expensive design. Ideal for a weekend stay. Not all lights in the room were working.
The design and atmoshere
room superbly equipped and furnished. Sometimes difficult to get service in the restaurant and bar
This hotel was absolutely amazing! My husband and I were road tripping through Europe and stopped in Brussels on a whim. This hotel and city ended up being our absolute favorite. It is a beautiful hotel, with excellent staff, and the facilities are great. We can't wait to travel back and stay at the Dominican again.
Our room was spacious and we were impressed with the bathroom and amenities. We didn't get the same room rate on the additional day we stayed (due to the Belgium rail/bus strike). Consequently, we had to pay a higher rate for the day on top of the amount we were paying for a room in Bruges that we couldn't get, to due to the strike.
Great location. Helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The only negative is breakfast is not included. One can choose to pay €27 per person, a hefty price for eggs & toast.
Architecture, Decoration, Room and coffee Room was small, hotel is small but very luxurious and modern
The atmosphere in the hotel and also the staff and their friendliness. No.
very attractive boutique hotel with upscale ambience. The rooms were very well appointed, comfortable and contemporary. Brand new renovations in November, so it feels new, but in the setting of an old monestary building. Very hip.
I liked the easy access to metro, and the ideal location next to the European Commission and very close to the Jubileum Park. The hotel could use more experienced personnel (languages spoken, attention to details).
Spacious, clean rooms and very good breakfast
Helpful, cheery staff Hotel furniture looked its age
Staff is very nice and helpfull. Room is good facilitated with airco. Room is large and good located in the EU part of the city. Perfect that they have own parking, to bad that reservation of a parking place was not possible in advance, but I was lucky (and early). sauna (not for free) and fitness are in a small dark room behind the stairs, not nice set up, sorry does not invite to use, and do not make a safe impression.
Location was convenient to access the European Commission as well as the city centre (good metro connection) Hotel rooms have very bad insulation. Sounds from other rooms, from the elevator, from the street invade your room!
The quit in the room on garden side
The best thing about this hotel is its location. The Hotel is located in the European Parlament area of Brussels. Room was spacious and clean. The thing that I didn't like in this hotel is the room equipment. Although you have a kitchen set, there are no pots or pans, so acctualy it is useless... There was also no tea or coffee, and in the minibar there were only cold drinks.
Everything, the room was just perfect! big and tidy no free tv channels(
huge room, overall more a 3star than a 4star hotel.
Perfect location It is really 4*. No 5*.
I thought the entire staff including housekeeping was very friendly, helpful, courteous, efficient in trying to meet our needs. I had to deal with management couple of times and Dimitros was just great! Location is excellent, rooms are well lite with all the amenities. I like the idea that every floor is different in color and décor. Also many rooms are not the same. I like the state of the art security system and privacy with the room keys and not being able to access another floor w/your room key. Rooms are comfortable not like some hotel rooms that are very small and crowed. I think on the daily basis they should make a slight change in their menu for the buffet breakfast. Everyday it was exactly the same. Breakfast is open 6:15 and they should be ready at 6:15, the hot food was not ready till 6:40, chef was still preparing. I was with a Globus tour in Amsterdam, Luxemburg and the 2 hotels there had a slight change in their menu. Radisson should get a sophisticated coffee machine so people can help themselves that way you don't have to ask them for coffee and it would help a busy day. It was very chaotic, short of staff several days in the breakfast restaurant, , everybody was running around then accidents occurred spilling coffee, crashing plates. Tables were not cleaned off so it was difficult to find a table. I understand that at times understaffing occurs, I think days like this they should have a sign Please wait to be seated, so they could get a table ready for the amt. of customers to be seated. As people were let in freely, we're looking for a clean table and it was difficult to find one so I landed up cleaning my table plus got my own coffee. I felt it was ok to help out a little bit. They have a ledge anywhere from 2 1/2-3 inches high before going into the bathroom which doesn't make sense why they have it, it serves no purpose and certainly does not help the décor. I think it is very dangerous especially at night. I kicked it on the first day 3 times and then I put a colorful luggage strap on the floor and left the light on. 2 other couples stumbled on it, laid a towel to even it out, taped some paper across as a reminder that the ledge was there.
Free parking at the hotel. Nice surprise were the tickets of the Margritte museum and the tickets of the public traffic. Good service, nice personel good breakfast, good excusebecause it was too crouded to be placed immediately. The room maid came twice disturbing us. The room smelt of smoke, what was irritating.
Location and staff weRe great. I was on the second floor and there must be a club directly underneath. I couldn't sleep because the music was throbbing through the room. I had to be up at 5 am so this was disastrous. Not good at all. Not worth it at all.
The location of the hotel is excellent. Our rooms were on the fourth floor. This floor is due to be renovated. I would suggest that it is overdue. Tiles are lifting in the bathrooms making proper cleaning impossible and there is mould everywhere. The toilets are coming away from the walls. They also block at regular intervals. Cupboard doors are coming off their hinges and racks of drawers are broken, making unpacking difficult. The beds were soft and uncomfortable. After we complained, we were moved to another set of rooms, also on the fourth floor. These rooms were in a slightly better state of repair, perhaps owing to the fact that they were part of a suite and therefore used less frequently. However, the beds were still uncomfortable and are due to be replaced.
General ambience, decor, location We could not adjust the room heating low enough or alter the temperature of the bath/shower water.
Great location for bars and restaurants.
Its nice clean and in a good location I arrived at 13:46 and I was told that check in starts at 15:00 so I was given the room as a favour Thats the feeling I got
Free wifi, cleanliness, allowance of late check out, location Slow wifi, water pressure in shower
Staff was very accomodating and I was very pleased with the service. I paid extra to stay on the business floor as I had much work to do between meetings. The Internet was barely working and I was very unproductive. This was a major disappointment especially for the extra money spent.
I have received everything I asked for - a hotel in the ceter of town, with all the amenities, corteous and pleasant people at the reception and the departure. I shall use you on my trips again.
The size off the room was nice ,we where there with two children but had plenty off space
there was no body milk in the bathroom
Everything, great hotel The internet connection had a few problems
The room was comfortable, spacious both bedroom and bath, and clean. Also the hotel is close to the metro and shopping mall. The staff was not friendly. There were problems with the booking and invoices and acted as if it was the customer´s fault, even the manager. It could be that the booking problem was not their fault, but they were unwilling to handle it professionally.
but the room was nice, but not for romantic stay the bathtub was small
Internet Services and Location of Hotel No
swimming pool rooms very old - felt cheap
Helpful and nice staff. Good location, just short walking through the shopping area to the Grand Place. Metro just right outside. Should have tea/coffee in room to be Sheraton or any 4 stars hotels. Dusch/bathroom could be renewed. Bad isolation that you could hear neighbours talking/using bathroom.
Location was convenient with easy access to public transportation. I also liked the size of my room. Even though I was on the 12th floor the street noise was excessive. Also, the cost of breakfast was higher than in the neighborhood.
The great location and friendly staff made our trip quite enjoyable.
Excellent location just around corner from The Grand Place Reception staff somewhat unhelpful but the concierge and staff very helpful and informative.
The location close to Grande Place is excellent. Old fashioned bathroom, with even a little bit of moisture in the corners.
Great location, nice rooms and we thought the price was really reasonable.
staff was very nice, location was perfect, room service breakfast was great
Location and standards
Excellent overall, nice furnishings, perfect location. Wifi was spotty - signal was fine in the bathroom, but not on the bed. Absolutely nothing else to complain about, though.
Location is good. staff are excellent and very nice. Nothing
Staff was very helpful and professional. My experience was exceptional. Everything met expectations.
I thought the breakfast was nice, and the beds were comfortable. I had to ask to switch my room twice as I found the rooms depressing and not light or big enough. The room temperature was very cold and I had to ask for a space heater. I found some concierges helpful; others not. The food in their restaurant was not good and I had an issue with something I ordered. I also wished they had made laundry service available. The lobby is very cold and shuts down early, and there is no where to have a drink, read and relax. The bathroom smelled very funny, and I could not get them to fix this. I also received no offer of help with my luggage when I called down to say I was checking out. Overall, this hotel needs updating and to be much more cozy, light and guest friendly. There is a lot they could do to improve.
The bed was not very comfortable which is dissapointing from a hotel of this standard
Hotel is very well located in the city center - ideal for tourists. Just couple of things spoiled whole Brussels experience: 1 - Discovered there were no towels in bathroom right after taking a shower, 2 - Late evening food from room service was foxy - a complete shame for a 4 star hotel.
friendly staff, clean room, good location very small single room, practically filled by an almost double bed; poor signal for WiFi Internet in room - usable in the lobby
Well done for ground floor room as one guest had a disability. tea making facilities in the room would be good also nowhere to fix the shower to the wall - made it difficult for an 80 year old
Good Breakfast choice, modern Toilet could have been cleaner, no tea/coffee making facility in room
All very convenient All fine
A very pleasant, clean and comfortable hotel. Situated in a quiet area, about 15 minute walk to Grand Place, but with a good range of restaurants close by. Limited hanging and storage space for clothes.
location poor breakfast, have to cross the garden for breakfast, old beds, malfunctioned shower
Clean, big room, very friendly and helpful staff. No complaints.
Location/value. very basic, but you get what you pay for.
nice location, nice quality and comfort for the price, nice breakfast The room was just too hot! there was no AC, so falling sleep was impossible.
Down-to-earth, friendly atmosphere, no frills but the overall result is very positive.
Once the issue of our lousy bed was raised the first morning they gave us a decent room and bed immediately. Our next 2 x nights in this hotel were fine. The bed in 329 sagged unbelievely badly in the middle and left us both a wreck by morning.
Great location, you could take the train from Midi Station to here for free with your train ticket. Big rooms, comfortable beds, and late check out (2pm) if you're Hilton Rewards member. Great stay in Brussels!
Staff - Mr. Benjamin Deleplanque was beyond professional and courteous. Room pellows. It could be a better kind and a lot softer.
that you walked out the door of the hotel and you were 50 met from train station and the tour buses.the main attraction were also very close by. the hotel was very tired looking for a 5 star.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is ideal for travelers. The rooms were clean and the facilities were wonderful. When we checked into our room, the internet access was broken and the tv audio feed for the bathroom was also broken. After they realized that it all needed to be repaired, we were required to move to a different room. It did not make for a good first impression, although we really enjoyed the rest of our stay.
Great location, one stop from eurostar terminal. Hotel on the square at the entrance on Brussels central station. Superior rooms small but very cosy x comfortable. Upgraded to larger room to be near to disabled aunt, lovely big room x bathroom but not quite as cosy. Breakfast was included x was excellent. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. We came to celebrate my uncles 75th birthday. It was pouring with rain when we arrived on the Saturday x did not stop. The hotel restaurant was closed x the only place to eat was the hotel bar. I was told no bookings so we all went down at 7.30. We finally got seated x ate at 10pm which was far to late for our relatives. The food was lovely x great value when it finally arrived x the staff were all fantastic.
The location was excellent and the room was not enormous, but completely renewed. In any case extremely good value for money. The personnel at the bar was very helpful. Few small details: 1) we asked for a baby-cot, but it was furnished without protections which we asked unsuccessfully, 2) the first morning we were told at the restaurant that the breakfast was not included, which was not the case according to our reservation (probably a bug between the booking.com and the hotel reservation systems as it was fixed the day after after showing our reservation), 3) we informed that the pipes in the bathroom were blocked (the water didn't go out), but nothing happened whilst we were there
Convenient location I had a "good " rate in comparison with the "off the street" price but this hotel is over priced
Lovely room, bath and bed The tv internet does not work neaRly as well my laptop. I wish I had used my laptop. Also the price for the high speed connection is very expensive.
They didn't have guilt. They had blanket with sheets!
Its location no
Le Plaza is a dream hotel. Best ever. Location, staff, room everything great. Breakfast was a bit expensive
nice, large room and common areas were very attractive high cost of internet service-this is free in many hotels
The location of the hotel was great to get to other areas. The packing of the hotel has low capacity in the parking garage and the hotel parking lot has no security my car got broken Into and all the items in my trunk and inside me vehicle were stolen.
The staff, in particular Nancy, were absolutely fantastic and made for a very pleasant stay. The Hotel and location were stunning. Great stuff altogether.
Very pleasant stay, comfortable well appointed hotel. Good location. Excellent value.
Perfect location :)
Everything worked great. Personnel was very helpful. Cleaning was exceptional. Good location. Room interior was old and worn.
Very nice playced.
It was in the middle of the city and shopping malls I was told it is 5 star but it was only 4 star !!
The room was fantastic and the staff very helpfull
nicely situated and nicely decoarated hotel. very decent. I recommend
We only stayed for a night but I can say its good. The only complain is that when we arrived our bookings is not finalized. On the day of our arrival that is the only the time they got my visa card. What if there is no room available for us? Where will we stay at the last minute?
I was walking distance to the centre square. The fact that we could not get into the hotel until 3.00pm.
Lovely room, great central location, five minutes walk from grand place. Staff were a bit rude but it didn't really matter as we didn't deal with them at all
The hotel's location was great - in a beautifully historic cobbled avenue, just opposite a metro station entrance and with lots of restaurants and city sights nearby. Parking was rather difficult. Only a few spaces available for guests, otherwise you take your chances on the street or in one of the underground car parks that are 10-15 minutes' walk away.
itś comfortable and fine possibility for the whole family no
The location was great - right on a lovely square with cobbled streets and lots of good restaurants. It was also easily walkable from the Grand Place and there was a Metro station in the square. The staff were also very helpful. We didn't realise that we would have to sleep on a sofa bed - we walked and thought 'where's the bed'?! Other than that though, the apartment was nice.
near Metro... and many public places
Good location, with easy parking - big plus in Brussels. Bit noisy at night - our room could have benefitted from double glazing
location cleanliness of room; small rooms; toilet and bath;
Very comfortable beds Very loud building plant somehwere below.
Very nice place, good breakfast, clean rooms, good location next to the city center
Room, spacious feel, cleanliness, comfortable beds and bed linen Aircon in bedroom inadequate - too hot. The fact that our internet booking had not been transferred to the hotel, who had no record of it on our arrival and, thus, could not provide the essential kingsize bed that we had specifically requested due to back problems. Fortunately, they had one room still available but with 2 queen beds and were not prepared to consider a discount or anything else by way of compensation as a gesture of goodwill for the fact that they had not received our booking due to no fault of our own and could not provide what we had requested. Would recommend the hotel (see below) with the caution that if one had booked via the internet, the booking may not have been sent to the hotel and to ring hotel to confirm.
It's location was excelent and the hotel generally was good.
its very nice hotel and room and its super location ! i will recoment this hotel for another people. can be cheaper breakfast )))) but its nice breakfast
Great reservation, great hotel, great weekend !!! None
Ideal location for tourists, beautiful rooms and the most amazing beds. Staff so help full and friendly. Only thing booked a late check out on our last day which was no problem they changed it from 12.00pm to 1.00pm the house keeping came into the room just after 10 we were still in bed.
Not sufficient tables for breakfast (you hale to wait for free table)
Location is good. Building is too old.
Very clean.good service. Tv non functional! Extreme difficulty in finding the parking garage. No free internet.
Very central and luxurious..Alberto at Reception sorted out my Blackberry phone by ringing through to England..Staff extremely helpful and polite Thankyou Alberto! Great breakfast also. Very noisy at night as it was in the centre of the city cars hooting people screaming avoid front bedrooms
Location is super. Nearby all shopping Parking is not free and expensive and not convenient
Location was great - Nice rooms and good breakfast. Hotel is only two blocks to Grand Place. Close to good restaurants and spots for a nice Lambic. Make your own waffle for breakfast.
the place (louise) such nice place.
room veiw was fantastic panoramic veiw over city was awesome breakfast was super every thing you could want quite a long walk from grand place
Service was very good, it was clean and quite luxurious.
The service and Location was perfect. I expected more though especially that I got equal service in some 3 star hotels in Europe. I got equal service in some 3 star hotels in Europe. Therefore, the value for money is not worthy. I have asked the reception to give me a late check-out for an extra hour and he refused which made us leave the hotel early and stay in the Airport for an extra hour.
Comfortable rooms, view from 15th floor, excellent breakfast Queen delxe plus room - it is not standard for 5 stars, it is 3 or 4. Bathroom was small, TV was old, shower was on the wall, not portable, without massage mode. Baths was for children, not for adults.
High floor, quiet room
The staff is great! They know me well by now and pamper me. The executive lounge was very dirty. Glass tables looked as they had not been cleanec in days! The service was much too slow. First time it was that bad.
The deal was great, staff good, breakfast nice and great that it was included as most Brussels hotels don't include it. The location is good, easy to get to and in a nice area. I would not say that the room we stayed in was 'luxury' or 5 star, although it was comfortable and clean. I think the staff may have been overworked/understaffed during breakfast service as it was difficult to get coffee and refills. The price of minibar items is terrible - 7 euros for a bottle of water (which is the same as a bottle of beer).
Spacious room, great views across the city The bathroom fittings are very 1970s. They could do with putting in better shower units
The hilton standard quality
everything the breakfast is too expensive. Should be included in hotel price. Or there should be cheaper choices, eg. not full breakfast
1. Good situated 2. Well trained staff 3. Atmosphere of the "Boutique hotel" Small bathroom
Nice, simple, quiet. Bathroom was somehow unexpectedly unconfortable: shower door was too close to metal shelf, and toilet cover was broken. TV system is so complicated or not well described that you have to call for help. Breaskfast and internet should be included.
staff, breakfast, location Confort: Old pillows. TV not working. Room not well heated
location and decor no air conditioning and got very hot internet was 17 euros a day and only worked for about an hour
The location There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room
excellent hotel, staff, breakfast and location. during breakfast time, staff is a little bit overwhelmed but tries its best
Very nice old style, room design(especially bathroom), friendly hotel staff, romantic balcony in the room. Furniture, equipment (hairdryer, tv) and towels are quite old and hotel could improve by buying new. No free wi-fi
Nice big room, friendly helpful staff View from hotel room was not very nice
Convenient, proximity to city centre and comfort. Small Lift. It felt like they were trying to cut costs. There was only one coffee cup when we were a couple staying. Upon request, a second cup was replaced but only one nescafe sachet. The shower gel wasn't replaced for the last day. It could have been a better job by the cleaning service.
Does not reflect publicity that is make in Internet
Natalie at Recdption was most friendly and helpful. On the Monday morning bread was in very short supply at breakfast. When I requested some bread (all of the baskets being empty at 9.40) I was given two rock-hard scone-type rolls which were an off-putting grey colour. There were no drawers in our bedroom for clothing. The bath was very slippery when showering.
The king size room was very impressive and the facilities in the room was good. The staff were helpful and friendly. They resolved a billing issue I had in a very positive way. Many of the advertised sports facilities did not work or were broken. This is a shame as it lets the hotel down a little.
That they helped us booking another hotel. They have two types of rooms. We went with the four of us and two people in our little group got the older room (we all payed the same). The difference between rooms is like night and day. The older rooms are really small, look old and the shower had a smell in it like somebody urinated in it. Of course we went back to the check-in counter and there they said that are rooms were full and it was not possible to give another room. Talking to the woman behind the desk was like talking to a mute. She did not respond to anything. I thought she was looking to help us out and after fifteen minutes of saying nothing she suddenly said "Can I help you?" I Really felt like being in an episode of Fawlty Towers. I can recommend not to book here.
The receptionist was fabulously helpful There was a bit of a lack of welcome in the lounge bar, so we chose to eat elsewhere (the gentleman on reception was extremely helpful in suggesting alternatives!)
Spacious rooms, facilities and location Pay for wi-Fi, staff could be a bit more friendly.
The room was very well kept and beautiful even though there was not much of a view. The beds are extremely comfortable - I slept like a baby. They provided a cot for our baby to sleep in with a little teddy bear as a gift to her. They go above and beyond what a client expects which is something I always look for in service anywhere I go. The only thing I can suggest is for the front desk people to be a little friendlier/open. They are in everyway very professional but there should be that extra put in there to make you feel comfortable like a smile. Otherwise in general, everyone there was very friendly and attentive to our needs. I would also suggest a bigger elevator.
well run hotel, friendly staff, comfortable quiet room at the back, excellent hot and cold buffet breakfast with large choice at 07.45, breakfast included in week end rate very small wardrobe like a cupboard, air conditioning noise even when switched off !
spacious rooms, this time very nice staff (not always in the past), very good breakfast, good restaurant, excellent location iron in room durty at bottom but they gave us a board and good steam iron instead
Comfort, well received by staff, good breakfast. None
good breakfast, central location bathroom too small and crammed. Curtains on the window were too flimsy and allowed too much light from the street lamp outside
Location and price Breakfast
the hotel staff was great and the breakfast was excellent with good attention to detail and availability. The elevator was a bit slow. But the stairs were fine.
Really liked the breakfast. There was no air conditioning in the room. Did not realize there was no air. The room faced the major street and was very noisy.
Rooms are clean, Gare du Nord is quite close (good when travelling from airport to Brussels via train) Rooms are *really* small and you can hear pretty much everything through the walls, the breakfast is suboptimal (hard bread, too few places). Other hotels for the same price or cheaper (mostly without breakfast though) have nicer lobbies and are closer to the center.
within a walking distance from the North station there was no hot water and the staff did not react to it or suggested a possible discount
Clean room, very nice breakfast, in walking distance to the center.
Centrally located and good size rooms for a budget hotel.
Perfect location. Nice staff. Goood breakfast. Big rooms. Nothing
Spacious room w comfortable bed
The Cafe Old and tired hotel.
a lovely art deco hotel with good facilities, free and extensive breakfast buffet included. Free mineral water in bar a nice touch. apart from a small bathroom so toilet right next to bath (which was ok) the breakfast buffet hot trays were at best lukewarm
The cafe outside, Breakfast was not up to the standard of the hotel. Actually very bad. Rooms on the backside not very interesting
The hotel was very central and had an impressive reception area. We had to change rooms three times . The standard of accomodation was extremely disappointing for such a renowned hotel. The rooms were cold and very noisy from the street below. The room we eventually ended up in smelled of stale cigarette smoke. We did not have the energy to ask to be moved again. We would never consider staying there again.
Lovely decor and atmosphere The pillows were not very good - I woke up with a neckache!
Every thing great, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast
