It is close to the motorway but not that close to hear the noise. It has a good parking, big rooms and good breakfast. Four stars is just right. The wifi in the room is payable and very expensive. In the hotel lobby there is no wifi at all. For a four star hotel the wifi should be free. The restaurant takes the last order at 22:00 (I arrived at 22:10...).
Staff Not very clean
Clean and comfortable hotel.Good for transit tourisrs
All staff and facilities were excellent. Restaurant/bar excellent. Room clean and well appointed. Recommend.
Food good, staff very helpful, Martin is a top manager. I like a firm bed, yours was firm but a little uncomfortable. I don't know what was going on with the room heating airconditioning, I woke up at one stage and both my eyes had dried out so much I had to put drops in them, I then turned off the fan...otherwise everything else was excellent. I would have liked a no smoking area in the lounge like there is in the restuarant.
room ambiance, breakfast, people attitude, clean location, non-smoking rules. Good experience, value for money. no!
I was feeling very confortable in this hotel and all the staff is polite including the restaurant .
staff very friendly and helpful. no complaints whatsoever. Service was excellent.
The friendliness of all the hotel staff. The hotel itself convenient to market and shops. Th food in the restaurant was excellent. We had an apartment which was luxurious unfortunately it was over one of the conference rooms and was very noisy one night as there was a party being held. Music did stop at one but a lot of door banging with staff coming and going after that.
The staff were just wonderful and the room was excellent. the whole experience was just wonderful. I transfered to another Budapest 5-star hotel which was part of a tour and the hotel was just not in the same class as the Corinthina. No
beautiful building nicely restored and with very nice details
The concierge was extremely knowledgeable and resourceful. He was very helpful arranging trips and events for us.
The spa, and the friendly staff The room was quite small, for a 5 star hotel. Location could have been slightly better.
Very helpfull, i got a free checkout for free. nothing
Excellent customer service! Everyone was very nice and helpful.
excellent facilities and service no
Everything was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No bad points
Hotel was centrally located for sites and public transportation. Staff were very gracious and breakfast ,afternoon tea and evening appitizers were a plus. The air conditioning did not work as well as it should have. However, all other features offset this condition.
loction, comfort, view, value for money Queen size rather than king siza mattress in superior room
Staff very helpful. good sized room and value for money on the special deal we had Breakfast expensive
I have been planning to stay in Budapest for over a year now. It was really important to me that the hotel has an excellent location and I preferred the spa experience over the view of the Danube. However... Only my first day was I able to use the sauna. I was the one who had to discover that it is broken and over heating. I had a burn mark from the previous day and the next morning I discovered that the thermo meter is not working any more it was extremely hot in there and since they could not fix the problem they had to shut it down for the rest of my stay... I was disappointed since that was the reason I booked Kempinski...
lovely helpfull staff,nice live music.
Given a free upgrade with great views. Fantastic location too.
This hotel was in the most perfect location! The Xmas market was right behind the hotel, the river and Chain bridge were about 2-3 blocks away, and the famous shopping street, Vaci uti was 1 block away. The rooms were so comfortable, and they provided slippers and plush bathrobes. The perfumed smell in the lobby and hallways was a bit overwhelming (luckily it did not permeate the rooms or it would have been a problem). They kept playing an Ad for their hotel on the TV which I found sexist and offensive (showing their maid taking a bubble bath and dressing in a lace thong before coming to work at the Kempinski hotel chain (what is that all about?).
All was excellent!
location, size of room, folks at front desk were very helpful
The hotel is very nicely situated. The room (normal double) was pleasantly furnished (colours, materials) and spacious. Especially bathroom was both rational and impressive. The overall impression and experience was very pleasant. At the same time, the room begins to show minor marks of ageing; small stains here and there, desk somewhat battered. Tv set small/old fashioned and did not work fully all the time. The personnel is professional and helpful - yet more discreet than friendly. The fitness center was modestly equipped and small; hooks or lockers for bathrobe/towel would also be useful.
Fabulous Hotel. Staff extremely helpful. Rooms spotless. In an excellent location 5 minutes walk from the Opera House, 5 minutes to main shopping area. We got excellent value as we were staying for more than 4 nights. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going for a break to the beautiful city of Budapest. It was very expensive for drinks or to eat in but this did not cause a problem as it is so central and there is a huge choice right outside your door.
central location, good quality no tea/cofee making facilities in the room and no bath robes
location and facilties no
Excellent staff and services. Very quiet and confortable place. Great value for money spent. Perfect location. Beautiful thermal baths included in the price of the room. Maybe the moquette on the floor in the room
Decent size room; location near River; restaurant on the ground floor; public transit options Very old with signs of deferred maintenance. E.g. The upstairs bathroom leaked and made a mess of our bathroom. The good thing is the hotel staff came right away and fixed the problem. The location of hotel is far from the major tourist attractions as it is on the Buda side of the river. The SPA IS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT: it reminds me an old hotel swimming pool with freezing cold water.
The hotel is old but clean and well maintained. Our rooms were large and the bathrooms huge by European standards. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast is great and access is very easy by metro and bus, both right across the street from the hotel. The thermal spas were fantastic and although busy not crowded. Use the spas on the side of the swimming pool, it attracts less visitors. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Will certainly return.
excellent breakfast the Internet access is expensive and in fact does not work as the company that supplies it did not solve the problem that when (as very often happens) the connection goes down there is need to call the company for a logout before you can login again
english breakfast, clean bathroom, large portions in restaurants, hotel staff speaks english and german, great view (danube, hills) room needs refurbishment, hotel price is too expensive
The interior common areas are beautiful. The room I eventually received was great. The breackfast buffet was the best of 10 hotels in 3 countries. The "single" room was a hot, noisy shoebox, not merely a "room with one bed". An absence of water in the shower forced a hasty, gracious upgrade to a lovely room. The baths were dilapidated and disappointing- website photos out-dated. Thermal bath not available to females- upgrade in progress, I think (hope)..
The Spa was relaxing The room was old and worn down. I had better expectations.
Tram lines right next to it, friendly staff, beautiful building - inside and out, amazing breakfast buffet, very nice restaurant and bar attached to it, comfortable beds, easy access to Gellert Baths. The carpet and minibar in my room looked a little outdated, but everything was clean and comfortable so that was just a minor issue.
access to the spa
Staff was attentive and pleasant. Breakfast is amazing, huge and many choices which is included in room price. Price was very reasonable. Access to the bath house is so convenient and guests get discounted entry, it's wonderful to walk down in your big terry cloth robe and enjoy the bath house, towels are also provided by the hotel, added perk. Tram is directly across the street and allows access to all directions in the city. Views are stunning of the bridges and river. We were there in November so not crowded at all. The furniture in the rooms is shabby chic, looks like the original furniture from 1918. Despite the furniture it's comfortable and the linens are clean and good quality. They could use new pillows, they are down but very flat.
all was perfect....all was ok....staff and rooms too!!! i tell to all customers that gellert is shure the best hotel in budapest....no chance for others hotel to compare with gellert position too!!!! dr agnelli nothing.
The air conditioning didn't work properly. It was awfully hot in the room (25°C in November). I got one of the four nights for free (which is nice for my boss).
The location of this hotel suited us very well. It was close to the main shopping streets and restaurant areas, and it was also between two metro stops which made it very easy to move around the city. The room we stayed in was very basic. We had issues with our room the first night and had to request to be moved to another room, which was quite inconvenient. As it was three girls, staying in a disabled room (the only ones they have as triple rooms, apparently!), the mirror and plug access for drying hair, etc, was very poor.
Central location. Friendly and helpful staff.
Great location, good and friendly service
Great location, great breakfast, nice staff, WiFi signal at floor 4 Did not work, so i had to go down to reception to use internet
Hotel was very clean, well designed, excellent location - you can get to the center in less than 5 minutes walking. Breakfast buffet was also very impressive.
this hotel is really a great one. everything is excellent in this hotel. if you go to budapest , this hotel is the only choice. the reception staff is excellent. thanks .
Walking in to the centre of Pest, The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and plenty of it. Reception staff were not very good at giving help and directions when asked how to get somewhere.
Spent nice 2 nights in the hotel with friends. It is a hotel as it should be a quality one. No complaint. Too expensive breakfast which we rather not had.
I like almost everything The dinner was expansive and not ver good
Big rooms, kind staff and small but nice swimming pool - indoor and outdoor both heated 32-34 C. Even though it is far a way from city center, it offers free shuttle bus to city center and it takes 20 minutes ride. No shower cap, no conditioner in the room, however you can request it from the reception. Entrance to the swimming pool and aqua park is not free, but it cost only eur 10 per person. Aqua world is not very safe one, I wouldn't visit again, however other facilities are good.
Three room apartment was very nice for a four person family. Rooms were large and goodlooking. Aquaworld was of great pleasure to the kids, also the parents had a fine time. Room was an apartment so there could have been more cups, waterheater and some other tools to make a litlle evening snack. Breakfasts and dinners were quite expencive to be eaten every day. Kids were a bit tired to come to the restaurant and a nice cosy snack could have been nicer some times.
pools and spa area
This was our second stay at Aquaworld, we have two kids so we stayed in the three-roomed apartments, which are very nice - spacious, clean, well equipped. The swimming pools are excellent. The service on our second stay was not as good as our first experience. We arrived at 14:30hrs and was told our room was not ready (check-in is 14:00hrs, check-out 10:00hrs) after a three-hour drive to get there. After a 40 min wait we decided to take an alternative apartment.
We loved using the Aquaworld during our stay at the Ramada Resort in Budapest. The room is spacious and clean. There is also a free bus service to the Heroes Square which comes handy. It's the perfect Hotel for families with young children. Our two year old daughter and my 7 month pregnant wife loved it. The Hotel offers also free wifi, which I used to keep in touch with family and friends via social networks on my smart-phone (avoiding Roaming charges) and also there are computers with printer available on the internet room near reception which are handy for on-line check-in for example. The taxi we booked through reception was much cheaper than the taxi we took at the airport. After 7 days we where a bid fed-up of the lack of variety offered for Breakfast - every day the same. For example no Oranges, Strawberries, Cherries, Kiwi, Pineapple, Mango, Mellon, Nectarines, Grapefruit or fresh juices available. Croissants where terrible. Only highly processed cereals. Not a genuinely Continental breakfast offered as we expected.
The attitude of the receptionist from spa area. All other staff attitude was ok.
The staff was very friendly, spoke good English and very helpful. The facilities were excellent and well kept. The spa was very professional and my wife really enjoyed her treatments there. The dinners we had at the restaurant were well prepared and presented. We will most definitely stay there again. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The prices were a little high for the spa services.
The best is Aquaworld. Thank Mr ágoston (Reservation Clerk) for understanding for the problems I had with my credit card and acceptance of our reservation, regardless of these problems. Staff to manipulate prices spa center - I have twice paid in, at the entrance on spa (did not get the bill) and on the desk when I was checking out. My English is not so good but I know staff or poorly understood or pretending to not understand what I am talking about this issue (I often travel and I have not similar problems).
Excellent location, facilities and staff. Woulkd stay again and recommend.
Good location with reasonable price No sign board , hard to find . Pay after not the day you arrive . Cash only not accept any credit card .
It was a modern apartment, very well equipped kitchen, perfect location, and very reasonable price.
It was a fine flat in the middle of everything, we enjoyed it very much. We were not able to use the dish washer.. Maybee we did something wrong, but if it is something special you had to do.. It wasnt told us.
it is in the center of Budapest, near it is an important metro station
The location was excellent, just one block from Deak Ter and within walking distance of everything you want to see in Budapest. Deak Ter is also the connection point for all 3 metro lines, so going to destinations further afield is a snap. There are a ton of cafes and restaurants on the street, and even a 24-hour mini-market across the street. The apartment itself was comfortable, clean and light-filled. The hotel staff were incredibly nice and accomodating, and even threw in a free bottle of hungarian wine with the room! The noise. It was like a disco inferno in the apartment every night. The apartment is directly above a bar, and there is loud music all night every night. I mean, when you stay right downtown you have to expect some street noise. But this is like trying to get some shut-eye in the middle of a bar. It continues until at least 4am, so this apartment is not recommended for light sleepers!
The situation of the hotel is very good, in the centrum, near metro and river Donau. Public traffic function very well, metro, tram, buses, easy to use.
The location was ideal for the main tram link to all areas. it was also in an excellent place for shopping and dining out (especially the Trophea restaurant 5 mins down the road). Took ages to find the entrance to the appartments, only to find they were under our noses. Very poorly signposted and nobody we asked knew where they were. tip: Entrance is via what looks like the entrance to a shopping arcade (signposted as 'Central Passage'), door on left.
Apartment located on Pest side and its in the middle of everything...near two grocery stores and tons of restaurant...I give it five stars for cleanliness, location, staff, value for your money...upon arrival you receive complimentary wine it has a fridge, stove, dishwasher, and just a washer machine no dryer tho...but again near everything and staff help book tours.
Perfect appartment and perfect location in the city
It is the best choice if you are planning to visit Budapest.Everything was better than expected. The apartment was full of needful things. The location is just perfect if you want to explore budapest, everything is very near within walking distance(metro, 24 hrs supermarket etc). What was really helpful was the taxi service! They came and picked us up for the airport and when we were leaving they took us back to the airport. That was very convenient and in reasonable price.Next time I visit budapest I will choose the same hotel- apartment. I was very pleased Nothing at all.Everything was perfect!
all the hotel facilities, staff, rooms were excellent. Its an international hotel therefore the lobbies are always busy with in tours coming and going. We arrived by car and the hotel is placed a long way out, which might make it difficult to find. We soon found our bearings and with free public transport for over 65s and an excellent restaurant round the corner it turned out to be a very good choice
Room and spa with pools area. Lobby was also nice and warm Location. Also I did not understood the prices in Lotos bar. We had drink that should be about 50-60 Euro and they charged 100. Some hidden cost seems to be.
The spa facilities and the general running of the place. The air con could not be turned off and this lead to a perminant sore throat/ cold, I complained and was offered another room, but found that room had the same problem, this I realised was a function of the main hotel AC. The cost of items of food and drinks in the room bar was in my opinion excessive for example, a 500ml bottle of water was charged at approx £2.34, the cost for the same bottle outside of the hotel was approx.£0.25p. Whilst accepting that the hotel will add a margin, approx 1000% seems a little high.
The staff were tremendous and catered for your every need, the experience of executive club was second to none and well worth the little bit extra you pay
the bed was very comfortable no balcony and not able to open windows any better
very helpful staff. There were no executive rooms left so I was up-graded to the apartment! not close to city centre. You must reach it by car or taxi
The spa pools were very good Very expensive breakfast
Use of the pool I was afraid of water when I arrived was swimming before I left, the three different pools made this possible
Very helpful staff. Good facilities. The hotel is too far from the city centre, though once mastered the public transport is useful and cheap.
nice executive rooms; nice separate breakfast for executive room customers + lounge; good internet connection; shuttle bus some more active "hellos" and "good mornings" in the breakfast wouldn't do any harm (=some of the staff)
This was my second stay at this hotel. It was a pleasure to walk into that impressive reception area again, and I also enjoyed sitting in the Gallery bar for some food and drink. Room was again comfortable with a useful laptop-size safe and well-stocked minibar. When you take a shower and discover that the floor is wet don't be surprised. The shower screen hangs on a pivot and there is a 5mm gap between the pivot and the bath itself. Both my rooms were like that, so it's not a one-off.
The hotel had a beautiful lobby and the rooms were well-equipped and clean. At first blush, the neighborhood seemed quite gritty but upon further exploration, we found some great restaurants and cafes and ended up really liking the location. The standard room we booked was quite cramped with a king-sized bed. Also, the hotel charges an extra fee to use the pool and sauna.
The staff on the reception was helpful and polite.
Breakfast, swimming pool
The hotel staff are really helps, the rooms are comfort, clean and beautiful The pool cost money
Very nice hotel, first class. Price should include pool use and some breakfast.
Location Room very noisy. Extra charge to use the swimming pool and sauna. Had to pay extra for breakfast.
Hotel was very clean and modern - loved the decor. Hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The hotel provided loads of information on arrival including suggested tours, public transport, recommended restaurants, etc. Only one small complaint and that is that the spa facilities are not really big enough for a hotel of that size. For example, the changing rooms at the wellness centre (pool, sauna, jacuzi etc) would only just squeeze about 4 people in at a time. Only enough sunbeds on the roof terrace for about 8. For a hotel with 200+ rooms - not really big enough and at the end of the day when everyone returns from sightseeing and wants a quick dip in the pool - just not enough room/space.
food from the restaurant locationn
Where to start with the good points??!!! As soon as we walked in we were looked after - cases taken to our room and shown the vital pieces of equipment. The hotel is spotless. The dining room is superb and the staff very friendly and I would recommend it to every type of traveller young or old. go for the revolving door alone. Nothing that I would call bad. if anything we thought the mini bar prices were expenisve - but hey, I'm having to be really picky.
Superiror value for euro spent which exceeded my expectations! I was unable to stay longer.
Really relaxing stay. We could hear noise from the siderooms - was a little bit annoying in the early morning.
Really happy with everything
Staff were extremely friendly. Hotel was beautiful with a lovely spa. The hotel is not very big which we felt was a bonus, it meant we got a very personal touch.
parking, very comfortable quiet suite, good breakfast, nice swimming pool we got bathrobes when we asked for them, crowdy breakfast room, entrance of spa area is not designed good - there is no place to change your cloth
excellent hotel, staff lovely, couldnt do enough for you no
location, look, big room, spa, parking, good breakfast, hotel staff, not noisy just one tinny soap in bathroom :). Everithing else was pretty good.
the rooms were clean and comfortable. the elevatorsecond weren't frenzy located. the breakfast was expensive relatively
Everything. Most of all the helping polite friendly staf To leave......
no internet conection even with the help of hotel's staf
Location and spacious rooms. Good value for the money. Not really a 5* hotel with suites, more like good apartment hotel***. If you are looking 5* luxury, it's not a place for you.
Everything about our stay was fantastic. The free wifi connections was very good and the staff were all very professional. Ten out of ten. I feel breakfast could have been included in the price.
Lobby. Room. Spa. We liked all about this hotel !!!
Wonderful place to stay. Staff very accommodating. Food great. Atmosphere stunning.
The staff was extremely attentive. They remembered details about what i liked into the next day. Everyone was polite and well mannered. The food was delicious and the wine waiter knew his subject. The meal could not have been more perfect. The chef worked with my lactose intolerance and modified the food. n/a
Exceptional staff at this hotel. Gracious, polite, helpful, cheerful. A delight in every way.
My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the size and the comfort of of our bedroom and bath. The service wass very slow, and once they simply forgot what I had requested over the phone, even though we had chosen the top accomodation available at your site ( and at the hotel, we suppose). The lady at the front desk was very impatient to helping us choose the best tour.
The lobby is magnificent, the room was lovely. It's about 15 min from the "center" IE the chain bridge. Pieter the concierge is wonderful and very helpful. The food is hit or miss, I enjoyed the goulash and parsely spaetzle. Most of the desserts were too sweet.
Fantastic renovation with a lot of taste . Superb restaurant , where also the food was of very good level .
On a trip to several countries, the Boscolo staff was definitely the least friendly of all the hotels we stayed at. I'm not sure if it was because we were younger than their typical crowd splurging on a nice hotel or what but they seemed like the couldn't care less that we were there. They were not very helpful, and two employees confirmed that we had prepaid for breakfast then the host at the breakfast buffet informed us after we ate that it was not included and presented us with a bill. The hotel did nothing to attempt to explain why this had happened.
Beautiful, luxurious hotel, a real treat, wonderful staff Area wasn't the best
The day time house cleaning staff needs attention. Our room was not made up either morning of our stay. When informed, the hotel was responsive. The room was beaufiful and the bathroom large and luxurious. The location of hotel was very good. We would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
Beautiful historic building with lavish features inside and out. No detail overlooked from front desk customer service to house keeping, everyone is friendly, professional and efficient. A well oiled machine that has exceeded our expectations on multiple visits. No complaints, the staff went above and beyond.
Like the building and the New York cafe which is situated inside the hotel the pool and spa area is very good as well
The location and view Staff was not that helpful
Used the health club. Organised a city tour.
We enjoyed our stay The barhroom size in the Suite was rather small. It could benefit from an larger bathroom etc.
Comfort of beds. Room position and views. Use of Executive lounge. Location for both shopping and tourism Mugs & milk for in-room coffee/tea taken by housekeeping & not replaced daily
A very nice view
With it's incredible view of the Buda castle, this hotel has the best location The building is old ; very small and ugly bathroom , rather adequate for a 3* hotel, no slippers or bath gown, no bidet. Not a 5* hotel, never go back again, there are too many other good choises in this beautiful city.
The convenient location and friendly staff. Yes, I believe the breakfasts are much too high. After all - continental breakfast -water(coffee) Juice and pastry- hardly merits $21.++
really good location for sightseeing. Nice big room and polite staff. Good breakfast. bathroom was empty: no robber, no flip-flops, only shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. For the money that they want it can be better.
Location. Useof the executive club. Views from the hotel Room cleaning staff were inefficient. One day did not clean room. We had to aske each day to have our room cleaned. When it was cleaned, it was done well,
Terrific location, right next to Chain Bridge and less than a 5-minute walk to the edge of the main square. Gorgeous views of Castle Hill as soon as you walk outside. Easy walk to the bridge and funicular starting point. The room had absolutely no view; it just looked out onto other rooms.
Excellent location and great breakfast. Concierge staff excellent, we needed to get a taxi to the country and she ordered the taxi then came out to talk to the drive to ensure he new where to take us. Check in staff not very welcoming, in fact he was on the phone for some of the process, didn't offer any information about the hotel, breakfast times etc. Only one pair of slippers in the room and two towels for a Twin room, called housekeeping to ask for more items to be brought to the room, an hour later they still hadn't brought them so had to call again. Next day no towels in room as they had run out, left a note in room to say they would be delivered but they never did. Obviously don't cope well if the hotel is full.
Breakfast and location
I like best the service ans the breakfast which was excellent. The staff was very helpful and nice. Also, the restaurant of the hotel "Paris-Budapest" was fantastic! I did not like the difference in prices between the hotel's taxy and the local. Hotel's taxy takes more then double local price. Also the fitness room was really poorly organised. There were a few weihgtlifts and one treadmill, which was occupied all the time.
I stayed with family and we have very good experience and it was good advantage of possibility to access business center 24/7.
Fantastic location... you can't get any closer to the chain bridge. Great room, friendly staff and very efficient service.
service, service, service! Nothing really...
Excellent location Allowed early check in Clean and comfortable room Nothing
Virtually everything was great! Had no complaints.
Comfortable bed The hotel smells like sewer gas, everywhere. The rooms are outdated, dingy, and dirty. Housekeeping was lazy or poorly trained. This hotel did not maintain the standards of other Sofitels. However, the staff were friendly. I sought compensation for the problems encountered and they gave us free transportation to the train station.
Location, room The concierge was not professional, not that friendly and tried to send us to the places she is getting higher commission from. It was very unpleasant experience. We had to go to the next door hotels to get the info we needed. I think that 5 stars hotel can do much better in giving its guests an accurate info.
The location is great, also the lobby and restaurant, lounge. I ordered room service in the evening and the first thing in the morning someone of the staff tried to enter the room to pick up the dishes, later they came back and knocked, first they tried to open using a key card, they woke me up around 8 am. Up to then it was all good, friendly staff, great location, maybe they need some extra dishes.
Great location. Walking distance to everything. Have stayed a lot in Budapest and these are the best apartments we've stayed at in Budapest. Well appointed, free wireless and very helpful staff. Would stay again without hesitation Nothing major - wireless internet signal in our apartment was inconsistent/ slow. No credit card facilities...have to pay account in cash.
Very good situation in town. Very recent renovation. No mattress protector, only a sheet on the bed.
Clean nice room, good facilities, central location, upgraded room due to studio not available Did not have record of booking at office, had to contact other office. Room booked unavailable, office to hand back key does not open until 9am.
The apartments are superbly located on the edge of the up and coming Jewish Quarter. They are in a very new multi million euro development and are very good quality. Staff helpful.
Price, location No bad points!
I really like Gozsdu Court. It's small and friendly. Main atrations are in walking distance or you can take metro (tram). And off course - value for money.
Location cleness fornitures service (check-in/check-ou fleibility, staff available and near)
We stayed the first night in our one room apartment which was good but very noisy evening. So they moved us to a three room apartment which was excelent. Very good location. Loads of restaurants within 10 mins walk. Opera well worth a visit - 10 mins away. The first apartment, they moved us, really noisy on 1st floor, didn't have a curtain for the kids sofa bed, sheets could have been cleaner.
Excellent value--great staff--super location--lovely apartment--top notch !!
Location of the hotel is very good, it works for me , nice parking and the food was very good . You need to improve your service
JSTV is available.
I like SPA facilities location (distance of the centre of de city)
View on the Danube was really great, provided of course that you pay the extra money for it. Spa facilities were great The location was in an industrial area far from center. The massage services were below expectations.
My daughter and I liked the Spa-area the best. But we also liked the food. Not overwhelming but really, really good. I must say that now a days, one is not used to pay for the use of the Wi-Fi.
Spacious hall There was no a welcome coctail as confirmed in the booking. The internet was very expensive. Receptionist not friendly. Small rooms and also the toilets
Spa was excellent! A bit far from the city center, but it is acceptable.
good staff, very comfortable spa center, very clean room and the other hotel fascilities
Excellent Facilities,great location
The bed and staff were very helpful/friendly The smoking. Everywhere you went you could smell cigarette smoke
Excellent location. Very close to metro and busses. Quiet location just off main street. Steps from opera house. Room was very nice . Comfortable bed, clean. I was on first floor and the view was of wall. Not a problem as I did not spend much time in the room. The breakfast was excellent with great variety. Staff helpful and friendly.
The receptionists were generally VERY helpful, including one who worked the phone for ten or fifteen minutes and got me an incomprehensible deal on a personal day trip to the tokaji wine region, picked up and dropped off at the hotel, with tours of three vineyards and tastings with the nicest guide ever, scheduled less than two days before the trip. This wad a highlight of my stay in Hungary. They also let me extend my stay for two additional nights jist the day before my scheduled checkout, although the cost of the room went up rather significsntly (it was very cheap to start, though, considering the quality of the hotel). The typical hotel provisions to the room are rather minimal though (soap extremely tiny, no slippers, only one box of tissues), so I found myself asking for things at the front desk a lot, which made me feel a bit awkward.
Staff was very helpful and nice location. Pullout bed wasn't bad
Great hotel! Clean and right in the middle of Budapest (the opera house is literally right next door). Front desk (Agnes) was very helpful and accommodateing. Breakfast was nice as well. Would definitely return. The room key system is a little strange, not bad, just strange.
The hotel is very comfortable and perfectly located in Pest. Having a gym and cable internet is very convenient.
Excellent location right in the city center. Beautiful, clean lobby, refurbished rooms, very helpful staff. Probably the most comfortable stay I've ever had in a city. -
The staff was friendly and hard working. The breakfast was great and kept me full until supper time. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Enjoyed using the treadmill in the fitness center. With today's strong US dollar, you can live like a king in Budapest at the K+K Hotel. Nothing worth mentioning.
convenience, cleanliness, modern, good breakfast
Location Not so new furniture in rooms, still very nice and modern bathrooms.
Nice modern hotel, good location close to St. Stephen's basilica. The breakfasts were good.
Location, obvious...the hotel is located on Danube's embankment, with a gorgeous view. The architecture of the hotel...it's ugly (this is my personal view.).
Spacious room, great club lounge with nice selection of food and beverages Staff at reception rather unfriendly. Staff coming into the room despite 'don't disturb' sign on the door.
the location!!!!!!!!!! everything was ok!
The staff were excellent, including the desk staff, bellman, doorman, and driver! They couldn't have been nicer! The location of the hotel is also first-rate. It offers an excellent view of the river and is situated close to many sight-seeing attractions. Smoking is permitted in the hotel lobby/bar. It made for an unpleasant entrance into the hotel. The bathroom in the room was small as well.
I stayed just one night it is therefore difficult to say any more
Good accommodation and excellent dining facilities
Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff The swimming pool was cold
Location Room well equiped but a bit smelly... Old type of shower spraying everywhere, noisy but not efficient aircondition. Even when the price was relatively fine (thanks to early and non refundable booking) it is highly probable I will not return.
Location and quality of room. Excellent service from all staff. Price of breakfast was expensive; even for 5 star hotel.
nice room, perfect location and excellent service from the staff
