Pros: I liked the lobby the restrooms the restaurant the pools the gym and in general the room
Prices were moderately fair.
Cons: August 9 ,2017.
First, the playground is broken dilapidated and somewhat dangerous. The teeter todder is made of wood that is not finished or Glazed- it caused my wife to get a splinter on her butt. At the end of the tallest twist slide there was damage to the plastic tunnel that could lead to a cut. The end of the slide was also too high from the sand floor - could cause injury.
The restaurant food was great. But the leather chairs were ripped and faded. There was also visible signs of wear and breakage on the tiles that outline the bottom of waiter stations in the middle of the dining area.
While at the bar, I noticed the stools were too high for the bar - in all fairness- the bartender said the new chairs -with the appropriate height for the bar-were on order.
In our room, 610, the 1/2 restroom door opened inward. Therefore it was hard to close the door while inside the restroom. CAUTION: I hit my toe twice on the door stopper located in front of the toilet. Use caution if using the toilet in the middle of the night.
I called the front desk for luggage service at checkout time. Bellboy never showed up!
Pros: The marina and bay view.
The morning breakfast.
Courteous, friendly, and helpful staff.
Close to the wine country.
Cons: I can't really complain, but I would have liked to have been able to dance. That would have made it perfect.
Pros: The hotel itself is nice. A little dated but clean and with character. The parking seemed very safe. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were perfect this time of the year. room was large
Cons: Ice machines were all off and when I ordered some from room service it never showed up. My overall experience is that it wasn't worth the price tag.
Cons: The indoor pool and spa were not open
Pros: Large balcony faces ocean & marina. Staff very helpful & pleasant. Parking was included which was great.
Cons: Sign for hotel is kind of hidden by palm tree so the first time it was a little hard to find. Suggest better sign & better address for GPS

Pros: The bed was confortable and everything was clean. Room was spacious. Had a sofa. Location was good. Close to starting line of BAJA 500.
Cons: Too loud. No iron in room. The sofa in the room was collapsed. No balcony just a view of the roof. All rooms had name except that room. Room door was too small. Had stairs to enter room and if not careful you could hit your head on door opening. Expected more for a junior suite.
Pros: Ac didn't work well and Rom was stuffy and hot.
Cons: Booked online and was over charged $20/ night. Could have called dirctly and gotten rack rate

Pros: Love the views of each room. Rooms clean and staff is nice and helpful.
Cons: Need a coffee maker in the room. A fridge would be nice too.
Pros: It's always a pleasure to stay there
Cons: The views, at sunset and the serenity of the sea
Pros: We've been coming to Las Rosas since 1996, but we recently took a 7 year break because of the unrest in Mexico. We didn't know what to expect after 7 years, but everything was the same--the pool, outdoor jacuzzi, bar, dining area, guest rooms, and the best view of the ocean anywhere from every room! It was just what we hoped for. The place is a little more worn (only minor character flaws in my opinion), but the carpets and furniture in our rooms were new and everything was clean. This is not a super luxurious hotel, so don't expect all the bells and whistles, but it is gorgeous, the staff is wonderful, and did I mention the views--incredible! We still love this place!
La Rosas Hotel & Spa is a great choice for a stay in Ensenada. Guests can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant and visit the spa to be pampered with deep-tissue massages, aromatherapy, or reflexology. An outdoor pool and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms offer balconies and room service.
Cons: THE HOTEL WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND I WAS NOT TOLD THIS WHEN BOOKING THE ROOM, VERY NOISEY, THE BUILDING HAD NO NAME ON IT AND IT TOOK US OVER AN HOUR TO LOCATE WE ARE NOT FAMILAR WITH THIS CITY/COUNTRY. HORRIIBLE WIFI. WHILE CHANGING THE CLEANING PERSON OPEN THE DOOR THAT WAS SO BAD.
Situated by the ocean, Hotel Cortez is a great choice for a stay in Ensenada. Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Las Bugambilias, which serves local cuisine. An outdoor pool and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and room service.
Location was nice. Staff member, Christian, did a wonderful wine tasting for our group. Only issue was the lack of honest information with regard to the hot tub.
Pros: Beautiful location and walking trails through the orchards.
Cons: The staff told us that the hot tub would be heated up by the evening of our first night there, however, it was never heated up during our visit.
many beautiful vineyards in the area ans many less beautiful..Guadelupe valley is sort of like Napa valley 100 years ago.
Pros: The rooms were VERY spartan double room means 1 double bed. That and one chair and a tv were all that were in the room. The grounds and vineyard were great and there is a cute coffee shop. The restaurant and wine tasting room are next door.looked nice.no bar
Cons: bedrooms were small and dull ..no bar or restaurant on property

Pros: I like that everyone at the front desk/bellman made eye contact with me and my wife. I did request at the front desk for extra towles. As soon as we arrived to our room on the fourth floor. Housekeeping staff was at the door with towles and a smile. The two young ladies at spa were fantastic
Cons: I didn't like the robes that we were given at the spa. They are worn out at the sleeves the neck area. Missing robe belt. The gentlemen that brought my lunch at the pool, didn't look happy nor explained that my hamburger was going to be served in a To-go Box. Would of personal liked it on a plate

Pros: Hotel with old world charm. The hotel is not within walking distance of anything, but I like that about it. Beautiful views of the ocean, but it does not have a beach or water access. Hot water in the shower, clean rooms, comfortable beds on the hard side (personal preference) and a lovely courtyard. Rooms are well priced.
Cons: Walls are paper thin. Food and coffee on site are overpriced.
Pros: If your looking for a quiet place this is it. It's somewhat secluded.
Cons: Bathroom is very outdated!! Wifi never worked. Rooms do not have iron, hairdryer, coffe, micro, fridge.

Pros: Location is good, bars are nearby. and this hotel is central to tourist location. It is quite a walk to the cruise ships though.
Cons: Some rooms were updated and other not so good. The beds are very soft and can cause problems for people who have back can't sleep on soft beds. My AC unit was leaking water onto the carpet. Another's bathroom really smelled bad.
Pros: It was close to all the shops, but still yo the side so not to get all the traffic. 1 block away from the tourist hot spots/shopping/bars/food. Own parking lot. SECURITY 24hrs. ENGLISH speaking staff.
Cons: Well you get what you pay for. Thin walls. Thin mattress. The hotel staff wasn't as friendly and inviting although I do speak spanish. Parking spots very small and not too many (about 20-30) furniture old but did have a flat screen tv.
Pros: The price was great the first night. I went in a hurry to mexico . Thank god they had rooms. Location is great. There's a Starbucks across the street.
Cons: The room smelled bad. The bed was uncomfortable. I stayed with my cousin and they gave us free breakfast coupon for one person. It's was cold. Not staying there again.
Pros: Room was large and had a great street view. Pillows were very nice and bedding was clean.
Cons: TV didn't work very well, all Spanish channels. No water pressure in sink or shower and hot water was non existant. Bathroom floor and shower had paint chips all over and also hair. Charge $100 deposit for second room key for my wife. No clock in room and free WiFi only worked if.in the lobby. Employees were okay but not very helpful or friendly. Next time I'll go back to Hotel Villa Fontana a few blocks away.
Pros: Loved the price and the location of the hotel. We where in walking distance to pretty much everything. The rooms where clean and neat. The inside parking was also great, one less thing to worry about. I will be going back to this hotel in the future.
Cons: TV was very limited on the channels. I wish they had a small fridge and a microwave that would have topped this stay at Santo Tomas!
Situated by the ocean, Hotel Santo Tomas is a great choice for a stay in Ensenada. Guests looking for a bite to eat can check out MI MEXICO LINDO, which serves Mexican cuisine. Other highlights at this Mediterranean hotel include a snack bar/deli, a terrace, and a garden.
Cons: Staff took a very long time to check people in. They didn't greet us nor apologize for the wait
Pros: Lovely place to get a great bang for your buck. Where else can you stay beachside with a million dollar view for a low low rate. Clean, safe, friendly and overall just a perfect place to getaway from it all. Recommended to all.

Pros: Attentive staff from the time I pulled into the secured, gated parking lot, I received immediate assistance with my luggage and a bell cart in less than two minutes. There were great rooms on 3rd floor with amenities, pool area was fabulous, bar hours a plus, restaurant was excellent and food was delicious! I'm 39 and I've never slept so well. The beds were divine! Also, there's a minimart just around the corner for any necessities. Great location, worth every penny. I will definitely be booking the San Nicolas Hotel for my next trip
Cons: Left nothing to be desired. Excellent first time stay for three nights.
Pros: Friendly staff,room was clean.
Cons: Construction late at night, missing iron and WiFi had no connection
Pros: Just the pool
Cons: Service is not good and the room was not clean 100%
Pros: As always, the hotel was great. We reserved a king room but were given two queens which was nice. Only thing that could've made our stay better was a view of the gorgeous pool vs the street view we had, but not a big issue at all. Can't wait to stay there again on our next trip. So close to to everything!
Cons: Construction was going on but wasn't an issue...just looked a little blemished.
Pros: Close to a lot of attractions in the city. Great service and clean environment.
Pros: The staff was nice and very accommodating.
Cons: The place is very old and it smelled. The pictures on the website do not reflect what it really looks like. I will not recommend anybody to stay here and I will definitely won't be coming back.

Pros: We went to a beerfest at the ex-Hotel Riviera. Hotel Posada Don Fernando it is at a convenient location if you are going to an event like this and you don't want to drive. From there we went to papas and beer to continue and at the end of the night we took a cab that was really cheap because the hotel is not that far. Everything is new at the hotel.
Cons: Doesn't have elevator, if you have someone how need it call in advance to see if they can put you in the lower floor. Staff is good and friendly.
Enjoy your visit to Ensenada with a stay at Hotel Posada Don Fernando. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 7:30 AM and 11:30 AM. Rooms offer flat-screen TVs and free wired Internet.
Cons: Totally surprised to find mosquitos all over. What the heck? Turns out it's located right next to an inlet where mosquitos nest. And they're aggressive and all over. From beach to the restaurant to the pool and my room. I had to kill 5 in my room and they were filled with blood. Massive unlike. If you're paranoid about mosquito diseases, maybe not the best place.
Pros: Nice and safe. There's lots to do within the premises.
Cons: Two words... BED BUGS. I went to the doctor who confirmed this was the case. I will not stay here again.
Pros: We stayed in a Maya room looking out over the water. The scenery is breathtaking and we enjoyed watching a seal hunting for its meals. There was a ton of staff at all times and the service was exceptional. With many activities on-property like water sports, a lovely pool, and camel/horseback riding, you could enjoy your whole stay on the grounds or venture out enjoy to the local sights.
Pros: I loved Estero! It exceeded our expectations by 100%. Everyone was extremely friendly and so willing to help. We are definitely planning on going back!

Cons: The room was filthy, i looked in back of my bed and it looked like it hadnt been cleaned for YEARS!. Every corner or parts of the walls, the paint was peeling off. Cracks and parts of the wall missing. The ceiling of the the bath tub is wood and looked like it was fixed 15 times and its ready to fall off. VERY badly taken care of.
