Pros: Glorious garden hideaway with wonderful host. Rosella and Henri made us very welcome and went out of their way to help. Food was excellent, bed was very comfortable too
Cons: A little out of the way but not really an issue
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rossella and Henri are wonderful hosts, they made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. Rossella cooked a beautiful meal for us in the evening and lovely breakfast complete with a surprise treat for my birthday! Very thoughtful and very kind. The room was large, the bed was extremely comfortable and huge. Bathroom was modern and selflessly clean. The grounds of this property are breathtakingly beautiful. The immaculately maintained gardens are huge and spread up different levels of ground to the rear of the property to a large park complete with geese chickens beehives and large allotment. The plants and flowers are labelled with information and the paths have uplifting and thought provoking quotes from religious and other famous people to take in as you walk around. The lower gardens have a beautiful pond and multiple seating areas to relax. We were amazed at the generosity and attentiveness of Rossella, Henri and their son. Paco the dog was a fun companion for the evening too! Very much looking forward to our next visit. 100% would recommend. Cannot thank them enough for such a wonderful experience. MERCI

Pros: The room and the entire building are a masterpiece, made possible by the owners who give you the warmest welcome possible. It has been restored in an impeccable way, using only the finest materials that resulted in a surrounding that feels home. The breakfast was great with special (home made?) marmelade accompanied with crunchy croissants. The double espresso made me close my eyes..time stopped for a moment.. Albeit not close by my destination I will gladly drive the extra miles to enjoy their hospitabillity.
Cons: Do not come if you are looking for local bars or restaurants.

Pros: Loved breakfast
Cons: Our room was nothing like the photos. Very dissapointed as from the pictures the room looked amazing. We were separate from the other hotel rooms, perhaps just our room is the only not renovated, however its very misleading as based on the photos I was willing to pay more than other hotels in the area.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Superb property furnished with exquisite taste. Very unusual and a perfect delight. The breakfast was exceptional and the owners very helpful. To be recommended
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is by far the best place I’ve ever stayed while traveling in Europe for the 7th plus times. First of all the owners are amazingly helpful, the place is extremely clean and comfortable and the atmosphere is way above a five star hotel. Mrs. Vincente is a fantastic sculpting artist and her art is everywhere to feast your eyes. Mr. Philip is the perfect host and makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. I was a bit sad to leave, but they guided us to the perfect Alsace roads and our whole trip took a different turn. I’ll never forget this place and for sure I’m bringing my family back to visit the area and stay here.
Cons: I loved everything about it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This B&B was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I made a mistake by not reading the email details and we arrived a few hours early for check-in. The owner was very gracious though and put us in the room he had just finished preparing. The bed was comfy and the room was amazingly large. The owner's wife is an artist and her beautiful work was placed throughout the renovated barn, now the hotel, giving the rooms such an interesting drama! I think the meat and cheese from this breakfast, has to be the best and freshest I have ever had! I have to eat gluten-free so I can't speak to the lovely assortment of bread but the other items were absolutely delicious!! We have lived and traveled in Europe for 14 years and I don't think I have ever enjoyed a cheese and meat plate more!!
Cons: I only wish we had been there when the pool was ready and the days were warmer....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice breakfast, beautiful surroundings and wondeful hosts. Perfect place to chill And enjoy the good things in life

Pros: Nice location. Bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable.

Pros: Excellent convenient stop over. Comfortable beds. The food in the attached restaurant is really excellent
Cons: 35% of the bedroom was a bathroom entirely walled in glass. When the light was on it was like a brightly lit fish bowl. Absolutely no privacy, and you couldn’t put the light on in the bathroom if the other person was sleeping. I didn’t like it.

Pros: The hotel was easy to find and is situated in a picturesque small town, There is good parking at the rear of the hotel. We were checked in by a charming lady, who made us very welcome on our arrival. The bedroom was spacious, clean and had a nice view from all three windows. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet at night, even the church clock stops chiming at bed time, but starts again at six , maybe a bit early for some. The food in the restaurant is excellent, a good choice, well presented, and cooked to perfection, with a good choice of local wine. Breakfast was very good, a good selection, and fresh. Coffee was excellent. Throughout our stay, all the staff were charming, friendly, helpful and very professional. My only regret was that we were only staying for one night, I will certainly return and stay longer in this wonderful hotel and spend a lot more time exploring this lovely part of France.

7.0 Good
Pros: The location was well situated for a ten minute walk into the centre of town with good supermarket a seven minute walk away. The apartments are spacious in themselves but the kitchen is too small to use. If you are on a budget and book early, the price is very good.
Cons: Although the apartments are large, they are lacking in so many things. No toilet roll holder, no towel rails, no hooks, a balcony but no outside furniture, kitchen has stove top and sink and no other space, not even a spot to put washed pots. No hangers in the wardrobe in bedroom. All the crockery wasn’t clean and we needed to wash before use. No condiments, not even salt and pepper. Dining table too small to be of any use. We knew there was no aircon when we booked. It was over 35 degrees overnight, hottest temperatures on record, so no chance of sleeping. They use the worst kind of plastic mattress protector. It was like being in a sauna.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room and friendly staff.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Unexpectedly great and spacious apartment. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own dinner and breakfast. Decor was clean and modern. Free car park was useful.
6.3 Good
Pros: The living area in the apartment is really nice and spacious. With cute furnature. Breakfast was lovely and the breakfast room is great. Clean Good location Free parking
Cons: No wifi, or air conditioning and we were placed on the bottom floor with a very accessible patio so we didnt feel secure opening the windows/patio doors at night. The bed was pretty hard and basic. And we found the staff to be not very welcoming, we felt like the manager was checking what we were putting on our plates at breakfast. The bin in the bathroom had not been emptied nor had the fridge. There is a patio but no furniture to sit out on. It is also an old people's residence which is a bit strange when you are on a romantic trip away, our room was opposite the nurses office!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: we like it very much !
Cons: Smoking on the balcons can bring smoke to you and you have to close your windows/door.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Big appartement Close to the city center
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was very convenient
Cons: When arriving we were given a room which clearly had not been cleaned or made up, the bed having been slept in and the living area strewn with late snacks and drinks. Luckily another room was provided when we complained. Breakfast is not value for money - best to avoid as there are plenty alternatives within 300m walk
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice quiet big.close to everything
Cons: No chairs and table on the balcony
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our apartment was very spacious and clean. It had a large balcony (some apartments overlook a courtyard) The room was serviced daily which we didn’t expect. It seems to be part of an Aged Care facility which meant the shared dining area was a bit odd but no problem for us. The breakfast was what we expected for €7. There is a lot of parking onsite but we arrived back 10pm one night and got the last park. Mulhouse has a lovely old town centre - 10mns walk. We didn’t use the trams.
Cons: Nothing. Our stay was great.

Pros: Spotlesss, quiet, spacious and well equipped. Convenient and good restaurant. Easy access from the motorway. Ideal one night stop over location travelling from Italy to UK. And excellent value.
Cons: The bed was a queen size, which is a bit small even for two slim adults.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is perfect. Nice location near highway if you need to stay and sleep before continue your drive. Modern and big room, nice shower, great WiFi. Have small kitchen, which is nice for travelers who likes to cook as at home. Have French restaurant, seems like a popular, because of many visitors in the evening on Thursday.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Value for the price, quiet location, easy access to highways or city, shopping nearby, spacious room, amenities, all a great experience. Mr Cellier, owner, cares about customers. Thank you! I will return with no hesitation!

Cons: Nothing really
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for an overnight stay en route to Italy. Great value for mu=oney and great amenities in a spacious apartment. Although the location is in the middle of a trading estate onve you are through the door, the accommodation is of a really high standard. And there is a good restaurant just acroos from the apartm;ents so no need to drive.
Cons: Tiny niggles were that there was no info re the wifi code and whilst it was great to have a coffee machine, no tea or coffee made it a little redundant!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel
Cons: We had diner and breakfast in the hotel. Unfortunately the people who serve have an attitude that is very hautain. At diner we were shown a table at the beautiful terrace by a very friendly young man. Once seated, we were “chased” away by the main servant who told us in a very unfriendly way that the table was reserved by people with a dog. We had to find ourselves another table. The same thing happened to other people. At the end the people with the dog didn’t even show up. At breakfast we were told only to use tables with a purple nap. Again we had to search ourselves to find a table, but there was no such table available. When we returned to the man above to tell this, he reacted disturbed, but at last prepared us a table. We want to emphesize that the man at the receptioniste did an excellent job !
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved this hotel, it has a nice spa area and it is located in a beautiful area
10.0 Excellent
Cons: There was not any toothbrushes or comb in the room. It kind of surprised us.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything was superb! Most of all the Staff were great, beginning with check in and ending with check out. The dinner in one of the bubbles outside was spectacular. The oysters were out of this world as was the dinner menu. And the omelet for breakfast was delightfully creamy and incredibly tasty :-) !
Cons: Our stay was too short :-)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room and pool/ spa area.Beautiful flowers.
Cons: Service when we arrived for our evening meal was very slow ( we waited 30 minutes for a drink) but this appeared to be due to staff shortage and was rectified during the meal.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spa area exceeded expectations! Room was clean, modern and comfortable, possibility to order express breakfast in the room, which is great alternative to buffet breakfast.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is fantastic in the middle of the forest. We loved our room and the pool was great. Good general facilities. Bed was very comfortable with good quality towels and linen - helped to sleep well. We would return to this hotel if we were sure that the service (staff quality) had improved.
Cons: 1. Check-in process was very problematic. The room was not available (on arrival) at 3.15pm. Normal check-in time was 3.30pm. Reception explained that the cleaning lady had arrived too late. We were told that there would be an additional wait of at least 1hour. However, we weren’t automatically offered the spa or bar facilities. We complained and only then were we offered the chance to use the spa. The receptionist with dark short hair seemed to be very careless and spoke very limited English. 2. There was a private party on the night of arrival. All restaurants were closed and nobody had informed us during the check-in process that we should eat in the Brasserie before 7pm or visit the nearby restaurant. Therefore, we stayed without food during the first night of our stay. 3. The access cards didn’t work on the 2nd and 3rd night of our stay. We had to return to reception to have the cards reset. This happened to both cards on consecutive nights. The cards were not placed next to mobile phones and kept in separate pockets. Therefore, this was not the cause of the problem. 4. We were given only 2 towels for the spa during the room cleaning on the Friday morning. However each person requires 2 towels for each sun-bed due to the towels being short. 5. Overall, the staff spoke very little English except one young man on reception late on Saturday night. Staff didn’t seem to be very competent. The Gardener was very friendly and seemed to be doing his best multi-tasking between different jobs around the hotel. The staff seem to be working in an unco-ordinated fashion. 6. No wine stocked in the mini-bar. Odd given that this region is so famous for its wine production. 2 small bottles of wine (for an extra charge) would be beneficial. CONCLUSION Overall, it’s a real shame (about the above points) because it’s a really nice hotel that needs to be run in a more orderly fashion. The management need to retrain some of the staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is really dog friendly and super nice
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is great in the nature, the outdoor pool, the spa,
Cons: A bit pricey for the overall facilities, the outdoor jacuzzi is outdated, the restaurant ferme Des Moines is also a bit expensive compare to quality of the food, the outside ventilation next to the room could be somewhere else, finally the bathroom needs a bit refurbishment

Pros: Great location but this is not what I would expect from a 5 star facility
Cons: Property is old and not well kept, bed uncomfortable, bathroom worn and so is the room furnishings A/c only has one temperature or you can turn it off and heat becomes unbearable Toiletries not what you expect from a 5 star facility Dinner is expensive for what you get
6.8 Good
Pros: Beautiful location, beautiful property located on a vineyard and has great views of the little village below.
Cons: Where to start: toilet didn't work, TV didn't work, staff was not helpful - and even rude.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Classy place with great views overlooking the city and vineyards
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great.
Cons: Decor and the building itself is a bit tired.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The pool and spa facilities are great
Cons: No proper A/C in the room (a very noisy portable unit was installed) and general cleanliness not so great. The bathrooms are really dated and the water pressure is inconsistent
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The setting
Cons: The restaurant, primarily the food quality for dinner.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and spa
Cons: Cheap loud airco in the room. Exhaust hose kept coming off during the night which spoiled the relaxation
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very large bedroom
Cons: Needs updating in areas particularly the bathrooms
7.5 Good
Pros: We had no meals at the hotel. It is in a lovely setting with beautiful views and, despite being in a small town, is very conveniently placed. The staff are extremely pleasant.
Cons: The hot water pressure is poor and the shower head needs to be replaced. The room decor is somewhat dated; the curtains do not close properly which was a problem due to a very bright orange light outside. It shone through the gap in the curtain straight onto the bed. Our first night was pleasant but we had a dreadful second night. There were very loud fireworks behind the hotel (probably due to a wedding on the premises). At around 3.15am a fire alarm went off for about 15 minutes in the passage outside our bedroom. I couldn't find a staff member to find out what the problem was. Eventually I went back to bed as there was no evidence of a fire. I was unable to find a telephone in our room to contact anyone. We were driving a long way the following day and certainly did not need such a disrupted night. One piece of advice to anyone booking at the hotel; try not to stay on the ground floor facing away from town. The rooms are noisy and not very private.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: An ancient and impressive castle in which you feel like going back to another century. The view from a lot of places was wonderful.
Cons: Maintenance of the place could be better. The food and drinks are expensive and there is no nearby alternative.

Pros: The chef is really good, dinner was very expensive but delicious. View from the hotel is very nice.

Pros: We were upgraded at no extra cost to a room with walk in shower because my wife has a dissability and struggles to climb in bath.Lovely view from balcony over pond with ducks and swans. Room very clean and modern.
Cons: The lighting was not good and it was dificult to see into the wardrobe. Also no mirror at table to do hair etc,
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I stopped there on my trip from Italy to Belgium. I can tell you it is a very nice and very clean hotel. I stayed only 1 night but I enjoyed it. The food in the restaurant (what I ate) was excellent. I certainly would return.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Locationwise this is not in the "downtown" of Guebwiller so please don't expect to find some shops around. Otherwise it's quite calm. The lake was way smaller than I expected (it's rather a pond than a lake) but it wasn't a big deal.
Cons: My shower was with curtains but very narrow in a very large bathroom. All the water was flowing away. Maybe I've got the disability room? Breakfast was like any other French versions, very few options for vegan.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location. Room view over the lake is fantastic. Dinner in the restaurant terrace beside the lake is relaxing.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location and Breakfast is good
Cons: Unfriendly and not helpful. Guests are just accepted. External Guests such as Weddings have priority. Wanted to charge 90 Euros for a broken Toilet Ring without even asking if someone got hurt.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent restaurant. Nice balcony
Cons: Shower was over the bath and it we couldn't get the shower head high enough for a decent shower.
6.3 Good
Cons: A bit worn out hotel. The vending machine for coffee, tea etc too small for the capacity needed. Broke down several mornings during our stay.
