Pros: The location is excellent. If you are driving, it is easy to reach the hotel and get rid of the car. The staff is friendly and helpful and they speak English. Parking is within 1 block, easy to find. Close to restaurants and tapas bars. We were on the 3rd floor (where I think there are only 2 rooms). Our room was very large with very high ceilings. We had a lovely sitting area with two comfortable chairs and a little table. There is a desk and a fridge. Bathroom was also very large . Huge shower. (Sorry I forgot to take pictures.)

Pros: Beautiful building tastefully renovated. Excellent access to secure parking underground. Excellent staff.

Pros: Great location and comfortable, spacious rooms! The reception was very helpful, both during our stay and during our booking process. The parking was very close and easy. The rooms were comfortable and bathrooms very nice, great shower and toiletries. Great for a stay in Logrono.
Cons: We did not add breakfast since we are not huge breakfast people, but at the price of the rooms, felt it should be included. There were no coffee makers in the room, which seemed very unusual, especially for Europe and since we did not add breakfast, coffee in the morning was impossible.

Pros: Excellent little hotel near city center. Friendly staff, perfect location, parking available (small car better). Go to the pintxo bar area a few blocks away for dinner - the wine and food were amazing!

Pros: Lovely hotel in old building with very modern interior and rooms down v quite side street near to town centre. This was our first visit to Logrono and there wasn't really much to do during the day, large city with shops and not much else, but in the evening very pleasant trying all the tapas on the two street which specialise in them. Wouldn't go to Logrono again for a day but would use as an overnight stop and would stay again at this hotel.

We were dropped off the following morning back in Los Arcos to continue our walk on the Camino. Pick up and drop off is right next to the church and gate where the path of the Camino goes over a small bridge, referred to as the Portal de Castilla. Overall, amazing stay! Clean, lux bath soaps, bathtub, amazing restaurant and bar area. The owner also owns a wine vineyard and had 3 bottles of wine on hand down in the rustic wine cellar area. Staff was very helpful in sending our backpack ahead with transport company. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location along the Vía Verde Vasco Navarra Trail and a comfortable place with great dinner and bar.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Javi and Katya, the owners of the Hotel Rural Los Roturos are the most friendly and welcoming people I've ever met. Katya's smile can light up the room and Elena and Sylvie, their two staff are equally delightful, friendly and helpful. The hotel is surrounded by the most beautiful mountain scenery but is well placed just off the main road between Vitoria and Estella. The area is fantastic for walkers and cyclists and is just on the edge of the beautiful Iski National Park. Golfers would enjoy the Iski Golf Course, which was designed by Seve, and is only a 20 minute drive from the hotel . Our room was spacious, airy, quiet, beautifully furnished and decorated and spotlessly clean. The bar was always busy and seemed to be the hub of the village for the locals, which helped to create a marvellous atmosphere. The Basque people are so friendly and we were genuinely made to feel at home. We stayed 6 nights and ate in the restaurant every evening. The quality of the meals that Javi produces is excellent and the value for money is amazing. The mid week menu is only 14 euros for three great courses including a bottle of very good local wine - tapas type snacks are available in the bar - and the weekend menu is good value as well. The breakfasts were great, with freshly squeezed orange juice, cheese, ham, fruit, omelette, good coffee, and warm bread and jam. We are planning a return trip to the hotel next year to continue to explore this beautiful and unspoilt region.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, warm welcoming, traditional hotel, comfy bed, great hosts, every need catered for
7.0 Good
Pros: room decoration, nice and clean, great location for walking in the woods
Cons: overcharging items in the meal, failure to accommodate 2 single beds
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners were welcoming and very helpful as were all the staff and bar customers. For our sins we speak no Spanish but they went the extra mile to understand us. Breakfast was excellent as were the evening meals. Very comfortable and extremely clean room and lounge.
Cons: Wifi worked OK if slowly but this is a genuine Spanish village where you should not have gone if you wanted to spend your time on an electronic device rather than enjoying the surroundings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow, I cannot describe how amazing our stay was with Katya and her husband, Javi. They were such kind and generous people who just genuinely wanted you to have the best time. Hotel rooms were clean and comfortable, food was so delicious and very affordable (we ate there every day throughout our two night stay). They were so kind to lend us their own bikes with no charge when we found out that the price of rentals was too much for us. We can't wait to return one day soon! Highly recommended for a relaxing time with good food and good company. There so much to see and do surrounding the beautiful area, you will not be disappointed! Thank you so much for having us, we loved our stay and getting to know you both!
Cons: Nothing, we had the most unbelievable time
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It looked a typical Spanish hotel and restaurant but when you entered the atmosphere and the greeting was second to none. The rooms are as good if not better than some five star hotels.
Cons: There was absolutely nothing that you could dislike.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location near the Izki park entrance, nice bar and restaurant, cosy room
Cons: If you want to catch and early sleep you may have a problem as the house and rooms is not very sound insulated. But for Spanish timing with sleep after midnight not an issue
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff! Very good breakfast with fresh orange juice, every day another local cheese and another home made jam,... Menu of the day: good price/quality, typical local dishes, home made desserts. Ideal place to relax and enjoy walks in nature in the surroundings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, excellent food and super area for walkers .
Cons: Nothing !

Pros: The hotel had been very tastefully renovated and offered a relaxing experience . The bar meals were good as were the breakfasts served in the very impressive restaurant .

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just fine. The check- in personnel were extra accomodating and helpful. One of them was extra helpful when she called the parador where we had stayed the night before to try to help find an item I thought had been left behind.
Cons: I was disappointed that the quality of the accommodations had diminished since we had been there several years prior. The renovations did not improve the parador.

Cons: I can’t fault it.

Pension Travesia - Logroño - Bedroom
16
8.9 Excellent (230 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Pension Travesia in Logroño (Logrono Historic Centre), you'll be steps from Calle del Laurel and Museo de la Rioja.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was in the middle of city on the corner of the most famous street. Everything was great, restaurants and wine was really close and cheap.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location! Fantastic restaurants on the same quaint street and shopping just steps away. Great for solo travelers but be sure to keep in contact as you are arriving to avoid waiting to get access to the property. Rooms have cute personality.
Cons: Rooms and bathroom were super clean but there may be a hidden mold problem with the bathroom - mildew smell was strong, though no trace of anything but sparkling clean surfaces.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lots of places to eat
Cons: Wasn’t easy to find
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Spotlessly clean (except bedspread/cover marks - might be clean but not sure), light and bright feel to the room from the colour scheme, nice use of fragrances, looks exactly like it does online! Good storage, plenty of hanging areas in room and bathroom.
Cons: Although well sound proofed from busy Calle Laurel, the walls between the 3 rooms and shared bathroom were too thin, so it was noisy in the room when other guests moved around. Shower curtain, when not used properly, meant water all over bathroom floor.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The price was great for the location. This lodging is in the heart of the city among dozens of tapas/pinchos bars/restaurants and close access to historical attractions. The A/C worked great, the bathroom was very clean and very modern.
Cons: The room (Individual) was tiny, even for 1 person. It's the smallest one in which I have ever stayed while travelling. One could become claustrophobic if staying inside the room for too long of periods. It's not bad if just sleeping there. The bed was comfortable if sleeping in the center but soft at the edge. The light switches positioned near the headboard were frustrating because they were too easy to accidentally push and turn lights on/off.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and tidy room. Comfortable bed.
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was centrally located. It was clean and neat.
Cons: The lady at check was unprofessional, she was ten minutes late even though she had plenty of notice. The luggage could not be dropped at the establishment and we had to collect it and drop it to another establishment 500 meters away. Room was tiny, plenty of other choices in Logrono
8.0 Excellent
Pros: location is perfect and is quiet and clean. Owner is friendly.
Cons: The Pensione is not manned with reception.and you need to contact the owners for keys and everything.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: There is no one at the pension. The lights did not come on in the stairwell after entering building from street level.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Upscale hotel with nice bar and restaurant. Comfy, helpful, everything good.
Cons: Pool was out of service and was really looking forward to taking a dip...
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, although it could be a little better signposted. The staff were lovely. We were walking the Camino and the pilgrim dinner we had that evening was very good and very well organised. Comfortable bed, good showers.
Cons: We discovered two red spider mites in one of the beds. Perhaps these came in on one of the sheets as the other bed was fine. Also, we found two tiny pieces of broken glass - one on the bed and one on the floor. I'm sure this was just an unfortunate mishap, but not a nice thing to find in a bed. Nobody was around the following morning for us to say anything to, as we left shortly after 6am to get an early start.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was very nice, the nicest place in the atea to stay in. Room ( suite )was very comfortable with a nice view from the windows, facilities were good , we had dinner in the restaurand which was good and reasonable. there was a nice area to sit out and watch the acticity.

Pros: It has a great bathtub!
Cons: Far to arrive off the Camino going towards Logrono. 2 twin beds pushed together, and grumpy staff
5.5 Okay
Pros: The room was good. Bath nice.
Cons: Poor value for money overall. Exorbitant fee for laundry (15 Euro). Arrived off the Camino to request some laundry, told it would be 5 hours. 7 hours later after repeated phone calls, damp clothes returned. Evening food absolutely awful. No one seemed to be managing and very short staffed who were rude.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location ambience comfort and extreme friendliness of the staff
Cons: It would have been nice if the restaurant had been open for dinner rather than just the bar

Pros: Location is very centric. Quiet zone. Room is good and new. Good attention though you must contact by phone for any attendance
Cons: We had to pay extra price for AC in the room 5€. Check your room is specified AC , if not there will not be. You must use the same towels two days, othercase, the cost for changing the second day is 1.5 € each towel; that is unusual politics for any hotel.
