Rusticae Hospedería Bajo El Cejo - El Berro - Building
1
9.3 Excellent (294 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Rusticae Hospedería Bajo el Cejo in Alhama de Murcia, you'll be in a regional park, just steps from Sierra Espuna. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The place is lost in almost Swiss-like mountains. Everything is great: the room, the serene view, the sauna, the breakfast. The staff was so kind to send us some forgotten items by mail, many thanks!
Cons: The stay was too short!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Andres and family are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Comfortable "modern rustic" style building, cosy dining room with a different set menu every night and a good selection of wines (the relatively local rich red El Sequé was particularly good). Very well-planned sauna and relax area/solarium built out of the side of the rock and with a view up the ravine, and a swimming pool with a view. The hotel has its own Wikiloc account with several local walks - this was very useful in helping us to find our way around.
Cons: Would have liked to stay longer!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. Dinner was inspirational! The room was quirky & fabulous. The surroundings were breathtaking. The staff were so helpful & super friendly.
Cons: Nothing. We will be going back again! Nothing is needed to improve the whole stay. Thank you to everyone there, particularly Andres and Angela
9.5 Excellent
Pros: WOW. This place was heavenly! Beautiful area in a national park, friendliest staff, delicious food, beautiful large rooms. The breakfast was great and the dinner was exceptional, if you wanted cheaper food you could walk to the village (very close) and eat in the local restaurant which had incredibly good value lunch menus and delicious home cooked food. The pool is lovely (if a little cold!) and we really didn't want to leave... they also let us hang by the pool after check out for as long as we wanted :)
Cons: The pool was pretty chilly and there could probably be more sun loungers, but it was still wonderful. Also don't rely on google maps to get you there or it will take you on a slightly hair-raising mountain road....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location location location!!! Love the friendliness of the staff Food is amazing So relaxing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Specially the kindness of Andrés and Angela, the people who manage the place and restaurant. This is a quite rural hotel in which everybody seeks to relax, read, sit by the pool, sleep siesta under the figtrees. The surroundings are excellent for MTB biking and for hiking. Better not in July nor August, though. Too hot.
Cons: The road to get there is not that good, and Google Maps is not always to be trusted. Ask for directions.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent customer service. Staff very friendly
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet friendly hotel next to an unspoilt village.

Pros: Cleanliness, friendliness, tranquility.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice people !!
Cons: Nothing as it is such good value
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable rooms, great location...
Cons: Don,t they can address it but the entry into the car park is horrendous, on a busy corner with traffic lights, pedestrian crossing and vehicles from all directions.!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel was perfectly placed for exploring all of Caravaca. It was very easy to find, great to have free parking which was secured after 11pm until 9am - there was a key code to get in between these times. It was a very peaceful, calming place to be, check in was really great and my room was ready three hours before the check in time, which I was grateful for. All the information I needed was available, wi-fi was super quick and gallons of hot water! The bed was SO comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. Thoroughly recommend staying there.
Cons: Breakfast was buffet style and perfectly adequate, it was typical Spanish fare, cheese, ham, yogurts, toast and jams, so if you want a huge cooked breakfast you will need to find a cafe outside of the hotel. The turn into the hotel to access the car parking was very very tight coming in from the main road, I ended up going around the block and coming back at it from a different angle. It would have been great to have some comfortable chairs out in the garden area to sit on and enjoy that area a little more.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and a great location
Cons: Room 121 the aircom didn’t work, it did at first when we arrived but in the evening it wouldn’t switch on so room was very hot during the night even with the window open

Hotel Primavera - Calasparra - Bedroom

9.0 Excellent (232 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Hotel Primavera in Calasparra, you'll be 14 minutes by car from Santurario de Nuestra Senora de la Esperanza. Featured amenities include express check-in, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ultra clean and new, comfy beds, huge bathroom, great restaurant next door. Good location if you have a car, with plenty of free parking. Very pleasant staff.
Cons: We did not realise we had to enter the hotel via the restaurant (as maybe the reception was not manned all the time). Luckily a passer by told us! The breakfast was not great - tostada with tomato or jam, a bottle of fruit juice and tea or coffee. I asked for tea but it was made with hot frothy milk and tasted disgusting! I could not drink it. However we were offered a refill and the cafe con leche was lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you are staying in the Calasparra area this very modern hotel will take some beating. Absolutely spotless, nice bathroom. comfy beds. nice quiet room. Excellent Spanish style breakfast included in the price. Very nice Spanish couple running the hotel. Onsite bar/restaurant. Cannot praise the hotel enough!
Cons: Nothing Ok the location on an industrial estate is strange but its very easy to find with great parking and just 5mins from the centre. Hope they do well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in the middle of an industrial area nevertheless we had a wonderful sleep. The hotel is nearly new and very clean, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is large. Good traditional Spanish breakfast on the outside.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern hotel,
Cons: Noise from waste transfer station never stopped, could not sleep. Menu in room was not available, no food on Sundays!! no mention of this when booking. No secure parking, only on street outside. Music from car wash opposite always on. Description of food on menu not accurate.
7.0 Good
Pros: Restaurant food excellent
Cons: I an unable to drive for a few weeks so went to Calasparra by taxi. Please be aware that you must have your own transport for this town. There are no private hire taxis. Only unlicensed locals ferrying people about in dodgy looking cars.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, comfortable beds and blackout curtains. New hotel that provided us with a base to explore locally at a great price. Breakfast was ok, we generally eat cereals so some nicer choices here would be good, but they had a good range of breads and meats as well. Restaurant was good for dinner but size of the mains seemed a bit small for the price. Delicious food though. Staff were good. Location is a bit out of town, but no issues as we had a car to get everywhere.
Cons: It would be good if more rooms had double beds, we ended up with two singles that couldn’t really be put together.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Good restaurant. Excellent shower.
Cons: Internet in room was a bit intermittent.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We loved the cleanliness and decor . The people who work there are all really lovely ,friendly and pleasant . The evening meals are cooked by a young chef and all his food was excellent and wonderfully presented . Excellent value for money. They had quite an extensive menu del dia menu and you were given a chef's treat ie something to try, at the beginning of the meal then you had 3 courses plus a beer , glass of wine or soft drink and coffee all for €12 . Fantastic.
Cons: The breakfast let them down slightly. Our first morning was Saturday and we were down to breakfast first. Only 4 more people came down ,a little later . We were asked what sort of coffee we would like but there was no food other than packaged cakes and pastries . Not our type of breakfast. After a while the young lad asked if we would like toast and he gave us half a small baguette each and some tomato salsa . We asked if we could have another coffee . Very disappointing breakfast. Even the 4 Spanish people ,that came down later ,looked shocked at what was on offer . In the photos about the hotel there is a picture with a lovely spread of different pastries, breads etc. We didn't get that . Sunday morning there was more people and a bit more food out and a nice homemade cake but unfortunately breakfast let them down.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very friendly and diligent
Cons: The location
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great little family run hotel. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Great value for money.....the only brickbat being its location on a small industrial estate. Despite this, we didn't hear any noise whatsoever and all had a great night's sleep
Cons: Breakfast choice was very limited, however we didn't get down until around 09.30am. It may well have been a better experience earlier on??

Cons: A little hard to find, few restaurants were open close-by.
4.3 Okay
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: The room list lots of extras but many are missing like a kettle, iron, water bottle etc. The pool was not open. There was a charge for breakfast which was not made clear. The location is not good if you do not have a car. You need to go off site for food which is a long way away. No English spoken.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views. Good nice accommodation and very clean.
Cons: Nothing. but it was a little difficult to find late at night.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and quiet hotel surronded by nature with a nice swimming pool to relax. The owner was very friendly. We thought of having booked a room with private bathroom, but we were given an entire apartment on two floors with a kitchen too. The breakfast was very good with a lot of fresh fruit, homemade bread and other things.
Cons: It's better to plan in advance where to have dinner or to buy something to cook because in the area there are not many restaurants and they are not open every day.

Cons: Parking, the first night i parked in the high street and got a ticket, after telling the hotel staff i was given a pass to place in the car, wish i knew about it pre fine!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location in lovely friendly little old town, much to see. Visiting the horse museum essential to get a feel of the place, and its amazing community spirit.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was superb, several big coffees toast croissants pure orange juice and plenty of banter with staff. sat outside where there are several tables, a fab start to the day!
Cons: it would be mean to moan about anything to be honest, at a push some nice shower gel , notwithstanding there are plenty of freebees in the bathroom .
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean comfortable room. Great heater in the large bathroom as it was quite cold at night! Everywhere in the hotel was spotlessly clean. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Indoor garage parking nearby and as the staff on duty didn't speak English I was glad that I had enough Spanish to communicate and understand directions to the parking! Great location in the old town and easy to find the way around with the handy map we were given on arrival.
Cons: No fridge in room - but we were aware of that when booking.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Real spanish
6.8 Good
Pros: Room was clean and warm. Wifi was very good.
Cons: Mattresses were too hard as were the pillows. The mini fridge wasn’t working but to be fair we didn’t persue it. The shower was lovely and hot, but the temperature kept fluctuating from cold to dangerously hot. Restaurant was closed on the night of our arrival. Information about the opening times of the restaurant in reception would be useful !
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The rooms, hotel and attached restaurant were exceptionally clean. The decor, finish and appointments were far superior than the on site star rating suggested. The food was awesome.
Cons: There was very little not to like. You may need to have a basic understanding of Spanish
9.3 Excellent
Pros: There was no coffee making facility in our room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful and attentive, food (just had tapas) was excellent and very well priced. House red wine was very good.
Cons: Slightly hard to find as outside of Caravaca de Cruz but not far and quite area with plenty of parking.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was comfortable & clean
Cons: The location - too far out of town
7.0 Good
Pros: The Hotel was located conveniently for our evening visit to Caravaca. There was a warm welcome, our room was spotlessly clean, had all we required and the sanitary ware in the bathroom was very new, even a lid on the bidet! The range of toiletries were very good, including toothbrushes and toothpaste so better than some bigger hotels. There was a bar that served tasty tapas and a restaurant with a varied menu.
Cons: Because of the location, the hotel took on the feel of a Motel, with lots of passing traffic and local visitors and work people, so obviously a very popular place to call in to. However, Room 110 was situated directly above the very busy bar with TV, that closed late and was opened up again very early. The room had noisy plumbing/sound of water in radiators running throughout the night and the constant noise from traffic made for an almost sleepless night, so not what we expected and disappointing compared to everything else.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Was not told restaurant and bar would not be open, staff were not interested in the slightest.Only option I had was to walk to the petrol station half a mile away in 30degree heat for snacks,no one on reception on arrival or departure???

Pros: We were in Caravaca for a business trip and wanted a hotel that was close to the town, quiet, clean, friendly with the usual business amenities. Jardines de Casablanca met all of our expectations and more. We were welcomed right from the start and our hosts were fantastic. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back the next time we visit Caravaca.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, beautiful property, perfect hosts. The room was spacious and impeccable, equipped with everything you need and, just like the rest of the property, very well thought out. All too often, restored country estates still look run down once remodelled, like some other places we stayed at in the past. Not Jardines de Casablanca, where the owners were able to strike a perfect balance between preserving the character and charm of an "old" farmhouse and offering all of today's conveniences, with a keen eye for detail. We have stayed in places all over the world, from humble one star lodgings to renowned five star hotels. Jardines de Casablanca definitely ranks among our top five!
Cons: Really nothing we can think of.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The host could not do enough for you
Cons: Direction from say nav difficult

Cons: Probably a bit pricier than I would have thought but everything suited our needs

Pros: Great location
Cons: Unfortunately one person on their own to do everything results in lack of organisation although the member of staff on duty her own did her best . The reception desk was closed at 3pm until the next day not good
6.8 Good
Pros: Hotel is in great location and staff friendly although Tuesday not a good night to stay as lots places shut ,
Cons: No hot water and breakfast was awful , wanted to have a coffee at 9pm and bar was shut , I think the member of staff who did our checkout felt embarrassed as she didn't ask us anything at all about our stay !!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Located inside the old walls
6.8 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious. The location was decent.
Cons: The bathroom had a very musty aroma, particularly if the door had been closed. Quite a naucious smell. We had several windows onto juliette balconies but could only open one. The shower area in the bath had a strange spongy effect but still felt slippery. No English channels on the TV. (Could be being fussy here as in Spain). Breakfast offered the usual continental but definately not fresh bread.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The lady was lovely couldn’t do enough for you so helpful even offered to drive us to a school we wanted to visit cannot thank them enough
7.5 Good

Cons: Coffee/tea making facilities would have been a very welcome addition to the room.

Pros: Martin & Denise were wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable & tranquil stay. The property itself is beautiful & in a most delightful rural setting. The accommodation has been created with excellent taste. Highly recommended.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a great location! The house is really cool and old, which was fun! The owners helped us reserve a table is Caravaca for dinner, and the dinner was amazing! They could have been a bit more friendly and welcoming. It was too cold for us to use the pool, but that looked nice.
Cons: The only really complaint is the bed was really uncomfortable. The sheets were super scratchy and the mattress was very springy, old.

A stay at Hotel Pension Flipper places you in the heart of Bullas, within a 5-minute drive of Nuestra Senora del Rosario Church and Bullas Cultural House.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Although situated on main road there was no street noise could be heard from bedroom. The breakfast was also ample and served up by a pleasant waiter.
Cons: The en suite shower room was extremely cramped. We were not happy to find broken bathroom fittings(loo roll holder/shower screen door/shower head)and the shower showed signs of mildew. The toilet was located behind the door in an extremely narrow gap between a wall and shower so was most uncomfortable to use! There was only one single plug in the bedroom and the staff had to be asked for a second set of towels (bath/handtowel). They also failed to advise us that their bar/restaurant closed in the evening so after we had freshened up we went to the bar to find it closed!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Simple overnight accommodation. Nice cafe bar with good food.

Pros: Big room
Cons: Employers
6.8 Good
Pros: Ate breakfast every morning (€3.00) and dinner every night (€9.00). No menu but they just said what they had which suited me, salad, soup, chicken , beef, lamb whatever. Washed down with as much Bullas white as you fancied. They just put a bottle on the table..
Cons: No negatives
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast/Desayuno was a whole side of medium sized baguette tostada with fresh mashed tomato/tomate and olive oil. 2 x café con leche each for an extra €2 each and was very nice. Location was very close to the centre and the town not far from our destination of Caravaca de la Cruz. The young man in the bar that dealt with us was very pleasant and offered us a choice between twin beds or matrimonial(double).
Cons: Plenty of bed covering, too much in fact. Removed the blanket leaving a sheet top and bottom. The bottom one was not a fitted one and screwed up all the time. The quilted cover was not a removable one and had stains (looked like olive oil or greasy cream). A little black mould in one corner of the shower, which was a very tight space. The toilet itself was tucked in to a tiny gap, and as a man you had to have your knees touching each other to squeeze in, not pleasant and probably the worst thing.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Not as described. Bar/restaurant closed before 10pm on Friday. No food except tapas at 7pm on Saturday. Bathroom too small, anybody over 5ft 4in would have been unusable. Staff friendly enough but wouldn't go back sadly.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel interior is decorated in polished marble, giving it a modern, smart look. Rooms are big and the beds very comfortable. It is quiet hotel and ideal for a good nights sleep. We have stayed at this hotel twice and I thoroughly recommend it. Bullas is a small, safe town and it is a quick walk to enjoy a good night out with friends. It is only 15 minutes walk to the nightlife hub, namely Gran Via's bars or excellent restaurants like Taller de Sabores. The cost of rooms is very reasonable if you are looking for business level comfort.
Cons: Location is just off the main road on the way to Caravaca de La Cruz, so obviously no restaurants or bars in the immediate vicinity. Still, less than 10 minutes walk to the wine museum and just 5 more to the Gran Via makes it well enough located.

Cons: Would stay here again
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and staff
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent and did everything they could to help. Despite our limited Spanish we did manage to communicate well.
Cons: There were no tea/coffee making facilities in room. Having said that you can get hot and cold drinks from the bar and take them upstairs if you want.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good area

5.0 Okay
Pros: We got our room changed via Bookings.com
Cons: Trip advisor reviews not at all accurate
6.8 Good
Pros: Hotel was comfortable, Rooms clean and pleasant
Cons: Breakfast was virtually non existent. Croissant was stale and disgusting, however was replaced when requested, only coffee and tea nothing else for breakfast. Hotel was comfortable, No restaurant only cafeteria with limited menu. Don't eat here!
7.0 Good
Pros: Easy access location.
Cons: Receptionist/(owner?) took ages to check me in - possibly a confusion over first name but as they had no other guests and the surname matched I’d have thought it easy enough. Bar/restaurant area cold and food poor - possibly also cooked by the receptionist/owner/chef? Underwhelmed and wouldn’t hurry back
