breakfast. ask for room with view stuck around the back there was no timetable for bankholidays
Staff were excellent. Location is great. Parking in the carpark can be tricky
Just stayed for B/B.Hence not qualified to tick many of above boxes. Reception was excellent. Restaurant staff very friendly and helpful.
We had 2 very young children with us and found the staff in the restaurant very helpful. Nothing!
The bedroom was clean and tidy, but one bottle of water is not enough. ONe bottle of water in the bedroom.
The location was excellent,a top class hotel with customer values
Attended a wedding so found everyone was well looked after and the staff couldn't do enough aswell as the comfort of the hotel. i found the food to be very poor for the standard and cost of the hotel. wedding food was average, was expecting more for this hotel and the breakfast was awful.
Excellent food Service in the bar was very poor
Nice informal atmosphere and friendly staff Found the toilet very small and claustrophobic, would have been better included in the bathroom
Good value for money, great breakfast. Evening bar menue very limited, food only average, poor value for money.
Bedroom really nice. Great shower and bath suite with separate toilet. Nice view over golf course with autumnal colours when we visited. Nice bar, pleasant entertainment (it was Saturday night) and great breakfast. This hotel is definitely high on my re-visit list. Nothing.
Location & Setting are beautiful.
We were not able to check in at 3 o'clock as our room was not ready and we had driven down to check in for 3, and did not check in until 4. The reception desk were to notify us when it was ready but we had to go back to reception to see if it was ready and it was. Robes were missing from bedrooms and we had asked this question already as we were going for treatments.
food was excelent, entertainment in lounge was excelent
nothing much i like traceys as far as the night life is concerned its great but the condition of the room i stayed in was very poor it did not look or feel very clean and i woke up with a stiff neck that kept going into spasam for 3 days after i put this down to the pillows as they were very flat. just the condition of the room,my brother stayed in the room next door and also said the rooms were very bad.
The receptionist, bar staff and dining room staff were very polite and friendly. It does not have double glazing therefore the street noise factor was a problem.
Despit its quite large size and catering for touring coach parties there was still a feel of being amonst locals . It did not have the "cocooned" feeling that some hotels have, where it is hard to tell if you are in Singapore or Seattle. The Bar and hotel in general ha dits own identity. The staff managed to make it feel as intimate as a smallhotel or almost a B&B which I greatly enjoyed. All staff were extremely good. They worked hard but took time to be attentive. It is rare to find proplr who cav do both Nothing
the staff are lovely no
Hotel as clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful especially when I was late for breakfast! My room was at the front of the Hotel bordering onto a narrow but busy street and close to a loud nightclub/bar. I found it very noisy and it was difficult to sleep
Great location next to the River Slaney. Good entertainment every evening. Good to have Wi Fi in the room. Breakfast was very good and all staff in the hotel were very polite and helpful.
The staff were very helpful, the night porter organised an early breakfast, and when our motorbikes were blocked in by a trespassing car they found the owner and had it moved so we could catch our ferry. Reception lent us an umbrella for the driving rain. We stayed during the blues festival weekend which was brilliant. We didn't have time to do anything other than sleep in the room for a few hours
The room was very good Hotel clean and tidy Staff helpful The waiting staff and the food was not up to standard. waited for over 20 mins and waiting staff did not take dessert order left
Although my stay was short i found the staff to be very obliging and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable..the price was very reasonable. I will stay here again
Owners were very friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to help us out.
size of the room, friendly staff
Hostess was very pleasant and friendly. Very peaceful house and location. Relaxed atmosphere. Tea/coffee and milk provided in rooms.
Peaceful surroundings. beautifully appointed and furnished. Very clean and friendly welcoming service.
Loved the cat (mitsy)! She gave me such a warm welcome. None whatsoever!
The owner was very friendly and helpful.
Vicki and the staff was excellent!
The house itself is a little remote but it's beautiful. The owners are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is good. Beds were comfortable and showers hot. I would ask for directions in Shilelagh because the hotel is not on most GPS's and it can be tough to find.
I had never stayed at a guesthouse before, so this was a good opportunity to have that experience. All rooms are en suite, and the manager/hostess/owner makes a great breakfast. Not easy to find. Definitely out in the country, but I understand there's a lovely golf course nearby. But I'm not a golfer.
The whole house was at our diposal, you could really make your self at home, there was plenty of hot water, super clean and lovely decor, it was an excellent place to stay, highly reccommended and child friendly Nothing everything was fantastic
