9.5 Excellent
Pros: Maureen and tony were excellent hosts and provide a home from home experience
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stayed with my daughter and it was a lovely place to stay. We had a very warm welcome from Maureen on our arrival. Our room was lovely and the breakfast was unbelievable even though I only had "the baby plate!" I saw the large plate and it was like a full on dinner! Maureen and her husband were very kind and accommodating. It's a brilliant location along the Greenway. Would highly recommend! And we'll definitely be back!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Service was great. Attention to detail was super. Perfectly suited to our needs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was like being at home/ The owner was so sweet and accommodating/ possibly the best breakfast I’ve ever had/ would definitely return here
Cons: Nothing I did not like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Lovely hosts, very nice room, fantastic breakfast spread and the biggest cooked breakfast we have ever had in all our 34 years of travelling, excellent. Good location, not far from the town centre, but does require driving to or taxi if you wish to sample the ales from the pubs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful B&B. Excellent location for exploring the Waterford Greenway, Dungarvan Coast, and Comeragh Mountains. Bedrooms were extremely clean, comfortable and homely with a well appointed ensuite bathroom. The hosts, Maureen and Tony, were so welcoming on arrival and gave us local tips for pubs, renting bikes and where to eat. Tony even gave us a lift into Dungarven in the evening! Breakfast was excellent - with a huge choice of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, breads, coffee/tea and a *gigantic* cooked Irish breakfast to set you up for a day's exploring. Maureen will be happy to hear that the hearty breakfast gave me the energy and motivation to hike up to Coumshingaun Lake the following morning - despite her claims that I hadn't a hope! Highly recommended!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We loved the place and the owner and the breakfast and all the little details that made our stay great. We would come again if travel to the area. It is a bit further away from civilization that might steer you off if you only wanted a walking distance to everything but that was exactly what we aimed for. Not a single sound in the night, though just 15 mins away from Dungarvan.

Pros: This property is so beautiful and unique. We spent a lot of time just taking pictures of the buildings, the views, and the landscaping. Its was so quiet and peaceful. The rooms were large, well decorated, and had excellent bathrooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Coach House was a little outside of the city but easily accessible by car. The owner was really great, staying up and allowing us to check in past the time we had requested. He was very helpful with his initial email about where to eat in Waterford (across the street from the Waterford store, the “bar” food was the best we’ve had in all Ireland!). The view from our room was terrific, second floor, last room on the right. We had asked for a room with two beds and actually got the room with a double and single bed, and wasn’t charged any additional money. Book early though as we did because he only rents 3 rooms each day. Wish we could’ve stayed longer than one night as the hospitality and amenities were really great. I’m recommending his rooms to anyone staying in the Waterford area, whether for one or more days. The Coach House grounds and the hillside views are terrific!

Pros: Very friendly owner. Excellent breakfast and comfortable bed
Cons: Nothing. Gardner made an almighty racket at 8:15am with an electric chainsaw. Would suggest not having Gardners around at that hour of the morning when people are sleeping.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The island itself is the real treasure here. Since we stayed midweek, there were fewer guests, basically leaving the island alone for us to explore. There is a nice golf course, a driving range, and tennis courts. We also took a falconry class on the island (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!). There is also a beautiful nature trail the loops around the perimeter of the island, which is about 4 miles long. On this trail you can see all sorts of flora and fauna (deer, badgers, interesting plants), a lighthouse, most of the golf course, and some of the suburbs of Waterford. We stayed in the Suir Suite, maybe the nicest room in the entire property. The views from the room were very nice, and the suite's rooms were large, the furniture was comfortable, and the decor really matched with the whole 'castle' feeling. There was even a sitting room, perfect for reading and drinking coffee. The breakfast in the morning was very good, and included a small continental buffet, as well as the option to order meals from a small menu. The bar made fine cocktails, and the 3 course dinner was fantastic. Service and staff were top notch and very friendly. The ferry ride is very short (1-2 minutes BUT it only runs every 15 minutes).
Cons: There is no pool at the property, nor is there a spa. The ferry to the island only runs every 15 minutes, which means if you miss it, you have to wait. It also takes a while for cabs to pick up here. There is no AC in the rooms, and it can get hot.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property. Staff was very helpful.
Cons: The lodge could use a little upkeep and renovation but the castle property was beautiful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole atmosphere and service were excellent
Cons: Shower was over a freestanding bath that was very deep so hard to climb in and out.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was great. Size of the accommodation was perfect. Bring in the castle ground was pretty amazing.
Cons: It was basically clean however, things like drapes in kitchen and bedroom had large stains on then. Floors did not seem clean.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The perfect place for a country getaway while still being a short walk from the middle of Tramore town. John and Joan were absolutely wonderful hosts, and they make a great breakfast! We loved the cosy feel of our room and the incredible fixtures within the thatched cottage itself. Only 10 minutes walking from the main street in Tramore and the road into town was safe and secure. It was so quiet at night as well, and the bed had the fluffiest pillows ever!
Cons: Nothing. Absolutely fantastic!

Pros: Joan welcomed us on arrival, and made sure we had everything we needed. It is only a short walk to the big beach, where there were lots of activities, and it was nice to return the the peace and quiet of spring farm. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was fit for a king (or queen). John gave us directions as we left to set us on our way. We would definitely stay again, and recommend spring farm as a great place to stay.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.

Pros: Irene is a great host who prides herself on all the freshly sourced ingredients of her outstanding breakfast. The bed is super-comfortable and the gardens are beautiful with a charming patio to have drinks at night.
Cons: Next time I would ask for a room higher up or in the back, since I don't like looking at cars through the windows, especially in such an idyllic setting. Having people park in the back would solve this issue.

7.5 Good
Pros: The location was great near the Tannery Restaurant where we had a lovely meal and our breakfasts also which were great. I do think the description of “ luxury” accommodation is a bit of a stretch, the shower was pretty pathetic pressure wise and the bed was not what I would expect in a luxury room. A pleasant stay though.

Pros: The B and B is a fantastic, authentic, traditional style former farmhouse and it had an absolutely wonderful atmosphere with stunning views from every window. The hostess Joanna was the nicest lady I have ever stayed with and she couldn't do enough to make our stay great. My grown up daughter and I were so grateful for the hot tea and scones Joanna served us after we got caught in a terrible rain shower while cycling on Greenway. This lace is a must stay if you are in the area and the sense of peace in the house is theraputic! Thanks Joanna.
Cons: Wouldn't change a thing.
