With a stay at Hotel-Apartamentos Melihah in Daroca, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Church of Santa Maria and Church of San Miguel.
Pros: The facility is beautiful and well maintained. Rosa, who received us, was very attentive to our needs.
Pros: Very friendly and service oriented host; very clean apartment with good bed and well equipped bathroom
Cons: Dont know...
Pros: The local decor style and care with fittings and finishes in the apartment made it a special place
Cons: The location in high season might make it difficult to find a parking place close to the apartment, but in low season it was conveniently close.
Pros: The apartment was right in the centre of Daroca which meant that everything was within a short walk. The apartment was on the third floor but the building has a lift which we were grateful for, avoiding hauling bags up several flights of stairs. The apartment was very spacious with plenty of facilities (fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, etc), the bedrooms comfortable and it had a very good bathroom. We liked the communal areas as well, although we didn't use them to their full potential. There are several bars and restaurants in the square below so it did get a little noisy since it was the weekend but closing the windows did the job; there's air conditioning.
With a stay at La Casa de las Aldeas in Daroca, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Casa de la Comunidad de Aldeas de Daroca and Church of Santa Maria. Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and a library.
Pros: Great location, quiet, a super comfortable bed, and a very friendly welcome.
Pros: The apartment was really good and new
Pros: The apartment is beautiful and very comfortable. If you are looking for an authentic little town in Spain to visit I recommend Daroca and these apartments are an excellent place to stay.
Pros: Everything was so perfect hosts were extremely welcoming and so friendly even reserved private parking for our motorbike. Apartment was spotless hosts explained how everything worked could not fault it.
Pros: Nice big fully furnished appartement in the center of Daroca. Very nice check in with some cookies:). Quiet:) parking just next to the place.
Pros: Lovely helpful staff great location in a nice traditional Spanish town Very spacious clean and comfortable apartment
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: A very clean, bright, spacious, modern, new apartment. A nice design with a nice interior. The friendliness of the host.
Cons: The location is in the narrowl streets in the center of Daroca. We were lucky with a parking spot.
Pros: I have to say I was a bit dubious about the 10 scores people had been giving. We were quite nervous about the accommodation and the 1 night stopover in Daroca. All I have to say now is all other apartment rentals and apart hotels take note! This is exactly what a rental apartment should look like! Take La Casa de las Aldeas as your base model....please! The apartment was spacious, clean, homey, very well equipped (only missing a tea strainer!) and nicely decorated. Everything that was in the apartment was functional and no unnecessary extras that clutter or collect dust. It was very private too and no noise from other guests or the street. The sofa bed (in a separate seating zone to the living area) was absolutely comfortable. More so than many hotels’ beds. It made no difference to us that there might not be anyone at reception 24 hours as we didn’t need anything. The property is security gated so makes you feel quite safe. Check in was easy and very efficiently done! Daroca and nearby towns have things to visit and now we would definitely think of stopping over again.
Cons: There was no tea strainer!!!! ;)

Pros: Comfortable, extensive, friendly, many facilities, in the country.
Cons: Nothing really, but five minutes to town
Pros: We arrived late, but were met by our host, who made us feel very welcome. Also a very peaceful quiet rural location.
Pros: A great reception from the owner. The bedroom was 5 star.
Cons: We were alone in the hotel that night. The Owner left the hotel due to domestic difficulties. I paid the €90 and he was not back when we left the following morning. He was very trusting. He left the front door key which I used to lock up. My Partner was very nervous and we spent an uneasy night. The hotel was miles from nowhere so we didn’t look for a restaurant and didn’t want to leave our possessions. We ate his bread and his coffee that night and in the morning and left.

Pros: The room was excellent and the breakfast very good
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly even though we didn’t speak Spanish.
Pros: We’ve stayed in Daroca a few times before. It has a checkered and fascinating history, and was once an influential city. For us it’s a good stopover point on the road south. We love Zaragoza but i’m done with big cities! The Posada del Almudi is just off the main square (good bars) which has limited parking. The welcome was very warm. We were In the ‘new’ building across the street. Super clean rooms, very comfy beds. Lovely dinner, great cheese salad starter.
Cons: Plastic shower curtain!
Cons: Food at 9oclock in the evening.
Pros: Very central on a small square with limited parking- we were lucky! The square is very pretty, trees and fountains, bars and cafes surround it. The main hotel was traditional, lovely floors , fittings and flowers outside the dining room. All slightly and appropriately gloomy. The new annexe has a lift, was light, modern, airy and spacious. Beds v comfortable, squeaky clean room.
Cons: The shower curtain!
Located in Burbaguena, MoBu-El Mollino De Burbáguena is within a 15-minute drive of Church of San Miguel and Church of Santa Maria. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location was good when you bring dogs. Very pet friendly. The highlight was an unexpected sophisticated dinner , very innovative and followed by excellent wine.
Pros: Delightful, friendly, attentive staff and very good attention to detail, such as a bottle of water in the room. Excellent home-cooked dinner with good local wine. Good value-for-money breakfast. Our room had a lovely little balcony overlooking the terrace. Nice location near a fast flowing stream. Would definitely come here again.
Cons: Parking and area surrounding the entrance could be tidied up to look more inviting from the outside.
Pros: Super friendly staff, lovely food, pretty location and perfect for a stop-off while making transit across Spain. A rare genuinely pet-friendly property and very reasonably priced too.
Cons: Nothing really
Pros: The hosts were very pleasant and helpful breakfast was ok for price and enjoyed evening meal.pillows were a little hard but a quite nights sleep
Cons: Breakfast could have been better with croissants as bread was quite hard.just needs a little bit more love in rooms
Pros: Wonderful welcome. It was our anniversary and the bed had a heart of fresh flowers on it. Not a smart place but just perfect for food, comfort and location when driving across Spain. We will return.
Pros: Extremely friendly owner and excellent dinner.
Cons: The heat but this was not the hotels fault! We were staying on the warmest night of the year so far.
Pros: absolutely rural, that was what we wanted, quiet, parking, helpful staff, helped to carry our bag upstairs, the balcony, whole hotel very clean, tasty food in the evening, staff speaks English
Cons: no escalator, soft mats,no TV,with regard to food it was tasty but rather small portions, dinner pretty pricy
Pros: Nice welcome! Perfect place to stop off overnight with our dog. Great restaurant too.
Pros: Amazing food. What you would expect from a five star restaurant in London!
With a stay at Hotel Cienbalcones in Daroca, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Church of San Miguel and Church of Santa Maria. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The courtyard was lovely
Cons: No on site parking
Pros: Fab place , great rooms.
Pros: Local hotel and olde worlde town
Cons: Dinner started too late at 8.30 pm
Pros: Great hotel, great staff, great food.. Rates more than 10
Cons: Nothing not to like. Did not stay long enough.
Pros: A really lovely room, beautifully appointed & very spacious with 9 exterior windows. Excellent dinner & breakfast & a very helpful waiter who explained the menu very accurately to us - embarrassingly little Spanish spoken by us so this was important.
Cons: Nothing to do with the Hotel itself but our 2 night stop was a night more than necessary in this location - the town does not warrant more than a one-nighter in our opinion. Again, not a Hotel problem but there was no water in the Hotel for either morning of our stay as there was apparently a municipal problem - no suggestions were forthcoming as to how we coped with the lack of basic facilities.
Pros: Clean good location and hotel facilities were as required for travelling through to onward destination in south east Spain.
Cons: Town itself on night we stayed a little quiet with few places to eat and drink.
Pros: Beautiful setting in very old town, hotel had an outside courtyard ideal for warm summer evenings. Our room was large with twin beds. Plus sofa and chairs plus large wall mounted t.v. spacious bathroom 4 small balconies each with double doors. The restaurant offered good selection of reasonably priced dishes or a set menu that included a bottle of local wine for under 15 euros. We will be booking this hotel again next year
Cons: We had to request some milk to complete the room tray of beverages
Pros: Good location comfortable rooms and excellent friendly helpful staff
Cons: Showers on the wrong wall over the bath flood the bathroom and no mirror in the bedroom
Pros: The location is in the center.
Cons: The air conditioner was not working and the weather was very hot. But, the problem was the first receptionist who didn’t say nothing and after our claiming she said the problem would resolve soon. After 3 hours we ask again and OTHER receptionist said calmly the air conditioner was not working for a long time. Deception.
When you stay at Albergue Mirador El Silo in Bello, you'll be 8 minutes by car from Gallocanta Lagoon Natural Reserve. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very clean, nice size room, food on site
Pros: The hotel is simple but it has been renovated and it is nice and clean
Cons: We asked for a cot before booking and the hotel confirmed they would prepare one for us and once we arrived they said they did not have and tried to convince us that they did not reply my message but it was BOOKING automatically! Mistakes can happen but it is unacceptable not taking responsibility for a mistake that really impacted the comfort. the manager of the hotel did not face the problem and let the waitress to deal with the problem with me. They tried to charge the extra bed that they put instead of the cot, extra bed that was not appropiate obviously for a baby and I had to use it myself so my baby could sleep in the big bed with my wife. Very uncomfortable sleep
Pros: Exceptional views, unusual building and fantastic wildlife
Pros: It is new - impeccable - creative - can feel the love, sweat, thoughtfulness and money that went into this place. It has a patio, bar, and restaurant on the premises. It is in a small, off the path, quiet village that seems to have nothing going on, but when you walk into this place it is hopping.
Cons: Most unfortunately there was an illegal party going on next door that lasted from 10 p.m. - 6:00 a.m., with extremely loud HEAVY BEAT music. We did not sleep all night. It was horrible. The hotel owners were devistAted - called the police but the party was never shut down. This is evidently a rarity.
Pros: Were made very welcome despite language barrier Lovely room just bit small It was lovely and warm any issues were resolved quickly
Cons: Thought fee for our small dog of 10 euros bit too expensive and will probably prevent us stopping again We found the bed rather hard and pillows too soft.
Pros: Fantastic place
Cons: No speaks English
Pros: Very clean warm and cozy (it was very cold and windy outside) Good showers, very friendly helpful staff. Very good quality food. The hotel location easy to find, definitely the place to stay to view the lake and birds, we stayed in April so we missed the Cranes but we did see Busted. Excellent value. Would highly recommend
Cons: Beds could be softer and bigger. We are an older couple on the larger side

With a stay at Hostal Las Grullas in Tornos, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Gallocanta Lagoon Natural Reserve and Calamocha Roman Bridge. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great people and room.
Pros: Very reasonable drinks and wine was good
Cons: the very nearby Church clock struck every hour all through the night.
Pros: Beds very good. Bathroom excellent. Staff don't speak English at all but Google Translate worked well. Tornos is small, off main road but hostal absolutely worth staying in. Quiet, attractive.
Cons: It's all fine. I can't recall now but I thought breakfast was included in price. My booking was error roue, stating one not two people but I was surprised full price requested for extra, given the room was booked for 2.
Pros: The village is well off the beaten track and seems to attract bird watchers due to the local lake. Parking for our motorbikes was provided in a yard behind the hotel. The locals were friendly and seemed to enjoy the odd brandy at 0830.
Cons: If you ignore the satnav and go via Calamocha you find a good road. Recommended. The hotel cooking was interesting in the sense that nothing was written down and our cook/waitress tried to tell us what was available. We managed to eat some strange things!
Pros: Clean, friendly local village hotel at a great price. The dinner is pretty good for the price too. It is ideally situated to see the cranes.
Pros: Clean tidy really good location just off the motorway Excellent value
Cons: Although no English very helpfull and welcoming Very clean lovely area
Pros: Dinner good, beakfast OK, WIFI OK, bed excellent
Cons: Only problem was the clock in the church tower adjacent to the Hostal ringing all night on the hour and slightly less noisey on the quarter hours!!!!! Not in the details of the hostal, Part of the time no service was available on the mobile this could be important to other visitors. I had to use Whatsapp via the internet.
Pros: Lovely small room. The smallest bathroom I ever saw :-) A lot of facilities: haidryer, toothbrush, tissues, shower cap, soap etc. The room was very well heated. In the bar they sold fresh bread, honey and some cookies as take away. The staff was friendly and helpful. At night you could only hear the church bells, otherwise it was very quiet.
Cons: At night I had the feeling, the room smells a bit like cigarettes. At the next morning I saw the ashtray on the table. I guess it was allowed to smoke in the room.

Pros: A fabulous old building with beautiful fittings and furniture.

Cons: Would have liked a good shower.
Pros: Very pretty, the owner was very informative.

Pros: the staff are about the best we come across nice people
Cons: there is nothing to dislike about this hotel apart from the mattresses could be softer.

Cons: No air conditioning
Pros: Clean functional good value
Cons: Noisy fibre glass baths the showers are very noisy I couldn't sleep till gone 11 pm
