Casa Do Mudo - Cervo - Building
9.6 Excellent (122 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The three coarse meals were high end restaurant quality. The owners couldn’t do enough for you. The hotel was worth taking photos of inside and out.
Cons: We could not fault the place at all.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property, perfectly restored stone house. An oasis of tranquility. Lovely host, Ana. Excellent breakfast. Especially enjoyed the homemade yoghurt and fruit. Many other options too. Enjoyed drinking wine on the patio. Many beaches and attractive towns to visit nearby. Car necessary. 100% recommended!
Cons: For the dinner, I would ask Ana to cook with less salt.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: lovely property and very friendly helpful hosts lovely evening meal and good breakfast
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming. Anna and Manuel did everything needed to make my stay fantastic. Manuel is a an excellent cook.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely quiet hotel. Excellent parking. Nice garden and lovely lounge area in our room. Good breakfast.
Cons: Unfortunately we were the only guests and so didn't get an opportunity to sample their evening cooking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the recently finished lodge, opposite the main hotel, which was very spacious, with a separate seating area and was completed to a very high standard. We were so lucky to be the first guests. The owners made us very welcome and we had a home cooked meal with wine. It was delicious and definitely restaurant standard. Seating outside on the little veranda overlooking the garden was a bonus too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a really gorgeous historical house, with delightful touches everywhere and everything beautifully presented. The hosts Ana and Manuel were extremely welcoming and really made us feel at home. We had a peaceful night and the dinner was lovely. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Boy! The best fried egg I ever had. Not to mention the rest of the Breakfast Wonderful. Fresh orange juice, breads Great . What I don't understand is how other hotels get away with "Wonderful Breakfast" using Oscar Myer cold cuts and Kellogg Frosty Flakes , while this marvelous hotel has embroidered napkins and table cloth along with fresh flowers along with 15 high grade teas.
Cons: Leaving.
7.5 Good
Pros: The old buildings are picturesque and we had a very spacious room with a separate living room. Ana and Manuel were great hosts and we got plenty of tips for local sights from them.
Cons: The guesthouse is in quite a remote location so guests should consider having dinner at Casa do Mudo (this is supposed to be excellent). We were not hungry enough for a full dinner so went to the village (20 min drive) but found options to be limited. The room was big but bathroom was dated and we would have liked to have a separate hand soap and a few more toiletries in general.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good size room with comfortable beds and views to the Mare Cantabrica. Great shower with many varieties of settings. Generally excellent options for breakfast but don’t expect a full English!
Cons: Nothing didn’t appeal once you accepted that this was a beach town with no historic attractions. For that Viviero is a short drive away.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely rooms with great sea view
Cons: Car park not suitable for motorcycles. No English menu and no one to interpret what food was available.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The bathroom was excellent as well as the lobby and bar.
Cons: The breakfast could've used some eggs, warm meat and fresh fruit.
6.8 Good
Pros: The hotel is clean, modern and spacious. The welcome was good. We ate at the restaurant and while the food was good, the place had no atmosphere.
Cons: The town of Burela is dreadful in our view. We were booked for 2 nights but moved on after one night. That was not as a result of the hotel, but because we did not want to spend a second evening in such a dreary place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were lovely, really went above and beyond. Room was great and really quiet. 10 minute walk to the old quarter.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The receptionist was extremely helpful, moving us to a quiet non smoking room, her attitude was brilliant pulling out all the stops at a busy reception booking time The hotel situation was in a rather disappointing built up area and not particularly inviting. However , you could not fault the cleanliness and staff at breakfasts. Food very good continental style fresh fruit and cereal could have had a toaster to liven up the sliced white bread.
Cons: Staff, Bed, cleaness, parking.

Pros: Everything was perfect. Spacious and clean room, good breakfast. Central loacation. The hotel has own parking or it is possible to park on the street for free. Good breakfast. Good and not expensive dinner menu in hotel restaurant.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Having a cafetaria and bar on site was very convenient and appreciated. The lady at reception was friendly and helpful. We were happy with our room but had a problem with the beds.
Cons: The mattresses and pillows were made of foam and were hot despite the cool evening.
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean big rooms with spa tub
Cons: All was great and comfy but sheets were a bot itchy to start! I fell asleep fine and enjoyed my stay there but jist noticed when i got in bed that they werent thy soft compared to other pensions and hotels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The lady at the reception was very friendly and could speak very good English.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A great hotel with restaurant...probably the best thing in Burela
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfy, modern room in the centre of town, near everything. Lots of shops and bars and restaurants around. Nice bathroom and a small terrace to let some fresh air in, if needed. Breakfast was basic, but enough. Like nearly everywhere in Burela, the food at lunchtime and in the evening is amazing. The town's beach was a 5 min walk away and the coast line is spectacular. I already knew Burela and was visiting friends and when I return, I'll stay here again. Well worth it.
Cons: More choice at breakfast might be nice.
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel was clean, friendly staff, and close to the town centre.
Cons: There was a festival on in the town that went on till 6 in the moning, but this wasn't the hotels fault.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel really feels like a higher category, I think it deserves the 3 stars. The mattresses are on the firm side, which I prefer to the flimsy kind. The linen is in pristine condition and was changed daily, and was nice cotton. The rooms were spacious and had all the basics in a Spanish hotel, i.e. no kettle but there was a little fridge! The whole place is remarkably spotless and feels quite modern, really a great place to stay.
Cons: I would improve the pillows, the shower in my room splashed a lot of water out of the bathtub (no big deal, you have a floor towel but could be better) but it was great in the other room. And if you need to leave early count on the fact that the front desk staff needs to let you out, so you might need the extra five minutes, not bad, just informative. Just noting details if being fuzzy, because the truth is the hotel is superb for its category and price.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good value for money. Friendly, helpful staff. Room cleaned to a high standard each day.
Cons: The view from our room was of the car park. However it's not a hotel you would choose for a luxury break, so it didn't worry us.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed, lovely view looking out over the sea, substantial help yourself breakfast
Cons: Being charged for a double as a solo traveller. Not getting any reduction for being a pilgrim, unlike most Galician hostals. Late breakfast (9 am) does not suit people who are walking up to 30 km a day !Wi fi came and went.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Friendly owners. Pizza downstairs.

7.5 Good
Pros: Easy access, everything works
9.5 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was delicious - nice atmosphere - owners very helpful and kind
Cons: i think it's a pity that the restaurant doesn't open before 8 - but for spain that's quite normal
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The place has a history of 40+ years and is interesting in its own right....I've lost my photos on a dead phone, which is a shame, as it's picturesque inside and outside. Staff are very friendly, and the owner seems rightly proud of his property. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the room lovely, although the tv is so limited in volume you have to sit next to it to hear! Wi-fi was fine. The area around looked like a hiker's dream, but I was their to work at the Alcoa aluminium factory, just down the road, although you'd never know it!
Cons: The WC was on a kind of pedestal, which I found awkward, only a small thing. Basically nothing to complain about. You need some patience with the hot water, but worth it.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Incredibly nice staff. The breakfast for only 5 euros was the best breakfast we had in Spain!!
Hotel Canabal - Burela de Cabo - Building
7.3 Good (172 reviews)

When you stay at Hotel Canabal in Burela, you'll be on the beach and within a 5-minute drive of Bay of Biscay. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean, basic room, good heating, just what you need for a night's sleep. Accepted our small dog for a 10€ charge(seemed a bit high considering we only paid 25€ for the room)
Cons: The check-in and check-out process could be better. Despite a sign saying there would be someone at the front desk during the time we arrived, we had to call a number posted to have someone let us in. The person who came was very nice and helpful but would be a problem for someone who doesn't have a phone available. And we were told to just leave our keys on the front desk when leaving because again, there was no one there.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: there was on street parking only which wasn’t secure The receptionist was nice. The surrounding area was beautiful. But you had to really find it yourself
Cons: The beds were like cardboard and it didn’t feel secure
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Kind staff, comfortable room, spatious bathroom and very affordable. Plus, we arrived in the morning and they let us leave the racksacks so that we could sightsee the city with no weight in our shoulders
Cons: Breakfast was not available everyday
