Location is the only real feature that we liked; breakfast was better than most but not exceptional
Absence of a Bar and snacks during the day and very late opening of the Restaurant after a very long journey, also the very high Dinner prices - we ate elsewhere.
Quiet and well control security.
Without wifi / Internet access in the room.
The helpfulness of the staff, who kindly put on the fantastic buffet breakfast half an hour early because we had to leave the hotel at 7.30 a.m. Nothing was too much trouble and with the added bonus of a very comfortable room and a great location overlooking the cathedral our stay was perfect.
Room was facing the cathedral. You opened your window and there it was, right in front! Room was confortable, even luxurious, but without frills- but that was the idea, as formerly it was a convent. Good breakfast selection. Lovely free illustrated maps of the city from reception.
Irritating reception staff, but that was probably just me. She did everything to be helpful. and knew her stuff.
Great quirky hotel. The decor was lovely especially in the restaurant. Staff were great. Good breakfast buffet with plenty of variety. The location could not be better opposite the cathedral. The restaurant was excellent if not cheap.
Getting to it is not easy and the underground car park has very tight corners.
Great location. Free internet access.
Two separate buildings. Terrible coffee at breakfast.
Easy access to the historic cathedral and city centre. Availability of hotel parking
Proximity to Centre of the town
Room smelt a bit damp
The hotel is wonderfully located opposite Burgos's main attraction, the cathedral. It is also just a few minutes' walk from the heart of the old town with its tapas bars and restaurants. The style and decor of the hotel itself also fits splendidly with the mediaeval atmosphere and the area. I would certainly recommend it.
