Luxury bedroom, four poster bed and jacuzzi bath. Wonderful food.
beautiful room, comfortable and clean
very child friendly
could not fault our weekend at this hotel . will go again
Good food, An excellent chef. but over priced because the decor didn't match the food at all. Pictures on the site are deceiving because it looks like a very up market stylish modern hotel. In reality only some of the fictures and fixing were modern and stylish. Think 1960's seaside hotel with 2010 bed, lamps and bathroom suite. In any case I was only there one night and it was ok.
The bed linen was luxurious. The breakfast room was lovely and cheerful and breakfast was fresh and tasty. The bathroom light switch was not near the door and there was no light over the bathroom mirror. The shower was freezing cold. The bath towels were a little small.
Room was very nice Hotel is badly in need of refurbishment. Reception, Bars and dining area outdated
A beautiful setting with a lovely room including the four poster bed and open plan bathroom. An ideal place to spend a romantic weekend with someone special. n/a
It was a very pleasant stay, the only down side was I could not control the temperature on the radiator in room 12. I would definetely stay at The Battleborough Grange Hotel again.
The staff were very friendly and helpfull and made us feel very welcome I did wish the hot water was on abit earlier as I had a cold shower
Really good value, restful, close to M5
absolutely everything - owners and staff were so warm and welcoming. WE had a lovely stay and felt sad that we only booked for one night (we were attending a wedding locally - so only needed accommodation for just the one night!). Will most certainly recommend it to friends and family.
Quiet location, good food, very helpful staff I stayed on a very cold night - my room never got really warm. Water in shower only warm,
Fabulous food-both breakfast and dinner.Welcoming owners and friendly ,but not overfamiliar, staff.Peace and quiet.!
food was top class as was the service super location nice and quiet. worth the money just for the food. walls seem to be thin could hear next door talking.electric shower sounded like a plane taking off but worked ok
Personal service, food, location. I would have preferred a slightly larger room for a two night stay.
nice stay and excellent food, comfortable and picturesque setting
staff and owners are excellent, great place for a break, food great. We will be back none
i like all the home comforts like free toothbrushes etc stayed for 2 nights but card did not work on the second day could not get into hotel or room
Lovely hotel for the business traveler and breakfast in the room from 6am, perfect for Bristol Airport as well.
The Bed was very comfortable, the location was veryquiet. Not really - apart from breakfast choice: Continental only.
It was open at 11.30 at night Only room available was in the smoking section, our reserved room had been allocated earlier. The smell of stale smoke was unpleasent. No lift so we had to carry the bags and our equpment up a flight of stairs through 3 fire doors. No available baggage trolley. Again more handling. Looked at buying food or drink but prices were very high, everything seemed to be an extra. We found a hotel locally the following day that provided room and half board for the same price as a Days inn room only.
parking was easy.i am disabled and found access easy and ground floor room helped to make my stay more pleasant. finding access to the area was very confusing and we spent a good hour trying to find it.eventually my son phoned for directions.then it was simple.the receptionist told us that this was frequent problem.
It was a stop off, before travelling on. Two young children dont want to travel too long. Went into Weston-super-mare, for a couple of hours. The only thing I could say is its location, actually in the services. But thats a plus for most people. I thought it was good that they had a back way out, so you didnt need to use motorway.
rooms allocated next to each other, easy access to town food in service station opposite disgraceful, overcooked, disorganised, so had to eat further a field after first and only visit, a real let down.
Free wireless internet was great for keeping in touch with family and researching local activities
the room is clean and comfy, the beds are good, and the temperature is kept at a good level. Parking is easy and the staff are excellent. family rooms would be better for small children if there were the option of two single beds, like premier inn and travlelodge's
excellent food and very polite and helpful staff
Quite and peaceful
Excellent service from the staff.
Nice location, good room, lovely breakfast The Spa was not working which was one of the main reasons I booked here. Off season but could have made mention. Also tried to swim at 5pm but no one around to open up pool area.
no changing rooms
Good rooms, good service, good beer, good breakfast. Will recommend to others. I will return. I lived in the area for many years but did not know of its existence. Locals didn't either. This is because it is off the beaten track. Their marketing strategy must be good.
Courteous civil staff, clean room No
The rooms are very quiet and private. The evening meal I had was basic but excellently prepared and presented. If you are travelling with family or on a tight budget and want somewhere reasonable priced to stop off then its good value. The breakfast was a bit budget. Swimming pool out of order and all the gaming machines are ancient. I won some money on the quiz machine, but it wouldn't pay out.
value for money food how clean the hotel was
Hotel was out of date, milk was off at breakfast, dinner menu was not available at 5.15pm, resturant opened at 7pm, which indicated that the meals were frozen - therefore we eat somewhere else
Very welcoming and cleand and tidy room. Staff helpful in recommending local trips
Owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Beautiful guest house with lovely decore. None.
Excellent service great hosts good location None
Food, Staff and facilities. None
The service, quality of the room, personal approach from the owner were all above approach. The room standard was as good as any 3 star hotel. The location of the room at the top of the house required some heavy breathing .
Steve & mark were very good , helpful and full of information. the place was warm, clean and the food excellent. very nice pool room. close to the sea front & shops. will be returning in the near future. No
Very clean, friendly owners, knowledgeable owners/staff Towells too small & not thick enough, needs shelving in bathroom for nic-nacs
The facility to make tea and coffee in the room with good supply of materials - including biscuits! Breakfast was excellent - variety of menu, quality and ambience
Very efficiently organised and friendly hosts, spacious and comfortable room make this a great choice.
What a lovely couple it was like being with family. They are so kind and caring. We had a lovely stay.
the owners were quite pleasant .the rooms were clean.car parking was fairbut on public roads the en suite was just a cupboard in fact the door had to be open to use the toilet .the bedroom was small .the continental breakfast was very limited
The owners gave us a jug of real coffee on arrival, and were friendly and helpful the whole time: would certainly return there when in area.
The proprietors were very welcoming - very nice people who give great customer service. The house was very clean, and the room very comfortable. It was ideal for what I needed when I was working away from home. I didn't not like anything.
Excellent welcome from the owner, very helpful and efficient.I was unable to have breakfast due to having an early getaway but it was no trouble for them to make up a snack bag and get it to my room. Will definitely return in the future. Bathroom was a little small and restricted but for a 'normal' sized person that wouldnt be a problem!
The courteous manner of the Hotelier and his wife were exceptional, that made my wife feel relaxed and comfortable on our holiday
Both my husband and I thought the service proovided was very good .The owners were very friendly and welcoming and though the decor was very "dated" was perfectly acceptable and we would go back in future. The only problem we found was the lack of on-suite facility as we had only one bathroom for all the guests and having to pay an average of £65 per night would have liked the option
A very clean& pleasantly decorated room with acomfortable bed. An excellent full English breakfast. I would have prefered an en-suit room & it can be difficult to find a parking space.
owners very freindy ,nothing two much trouble, room facilitys excellent ,clean ,lovely breakfast all in all nice friendly place to stay
