Pros: The stuff was very polite and helpful. They helped us with information regarding our hiking. We really enjoyed the Spanish breakfast (that has a very good price as well).
Pros: breakfast was good, staff lovely.
Cons: nothing to dislike
Pros: The staff of this family run hotel could not have been more friendly and helpful. We had a delightful room and found the food, prepared in traditional Spanish style, to be very good.
Cons: We had no negatives whatsoever.
Pros: All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating; they are also very knowledgeable about the Sierra and can provide tips regarding where to go and how to get there. Food (Spanish cuisine) is excellent, better than some of the 4 and 5 star hotels where we stayed at on the same trip. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the restaurant. We were comfortable speaking to the staff just in Spanish, so we can't really comment on what other languages are spoken. Overall a great value in a great location.
Pros: Family run hotel with warm welcome and happy friendly personal service. Room was very comfortable, view superb. We had no guide book, but the daughter speaks English and drew great maps and directed us to great walks of varying length and suggested places to visit helping us see a lot of wildlife and the beautiful accessible scenery of this area.
Pros: It is a lovely family run hotel in a good location, we will definately be visiting again for a longer period of time
Pros: Very nice staff, providing excellent recommendations for bars/restaurants/sight seeing and activities in the area. From our room with a roof terrace we had a stunning view into the stars and onto the mountains. The room service was great and very reasonable. We might come back on our next trip to spain. Thanky you
Pros: The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. They went out of therir way to be welcoming and give ideas for places to visit. The public rooms were charming, very attractive and well furnished. Our bedroom was spacious, well furnished and with a great view from the balcony. The meals were very good value, with a good choice and great service. The best hotel we stayed at in our tour of Spain.
Pros: The staff is excellent. The woman who met us at the front desk particularly gave us some very good information about the region and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The restaurant served good food and the rooms were spotless and comfortable.
Pros: We loved this place! The staff were fantastic! So warm and lovely, really, really nice people. We booked for two days and stayed four we liked it so much. The food in the restaurant was very good and the public areas are very nice. I can't say enough good things about this place as it was the very best place we stayed during our month in Spain. We'd go back in a heartbeat!
Cons: I don't have one thing bad to say about this place. Put simply, it was perfect for us and we loved it!
Pros: Hotel staff really did their best to inform us on attractive wanderings in the National Parc, visits etc and to make us feel welcome.
Located in La Iruela, Hotel San Julián is a 1-minute drive from Sierra de Segura and 6 minutes from Plaza de la Constitucion. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a safe deposit box at the front desk, and an elevator (lift).
Pros: Owner especially friendly
Pros: Clean room, nice location on mountainside, hotel and restaurant seemed like a local hotspot so ended up between locals on a Saturday night
Cons: Hotel could use modernisation. Staff mostly only spoke Spanish and no English
Pros: The view from the hotel, although slightly restricted by trees was fantastic. The hotel is an excellent base to explore the Cazorla mountains, it sits on the mountain road and within minutes you can be in the rugged countryside.
Cons: Parking could be an issue because local people also stop for food. We found a space each night but it was out of season.
Pros: Great country location. Great home cooked food and great value
Pros: Set menu was very good but if you chose the trout it wa excellent. House chilled and delicious after a hard days scooter ride. I would take my wife there in the future!,
Cons: Not a lot!,
