The Hotel is located only a minute away from the Motorway. The room was great, with a lot of space and the food at the Restaurant was excellent, spacious breakfast and great Service. Next time we drive by the Parma Region we'll definately stay at the Hotel again!!!
The price/quality ratio was excellent if considering a special offer price. Normal price is too high for the hotel standard. The hotel facilities are great, the restaurant has very good level. Rooms are confortable and parking is free. Staff provided good touristic information about the surroundings area. The non availability of touristic maps of the wonderful region of Emiglia Romagna (castles, wine & chees farms, etc). The prices of all extras (internet, services, dinner at the hotel) are way too high. There is no public transportation to Parma at evenings. Normal price of the hotel is too expensive - look for the special offers.
The hotel appeared initially to cater for mostly business customers but my three children were very welcomed, had there own menu and were even given balloons by the staff who were very friendly. The restaurant was lovely and the food good. Good value for money. There was not much within the immediate viciniy of the hotel (town was 8km away) but as we used it as a stop of on our way north it was great as it was just off the autostrada.
reasonable breakfast - nothing out of the ordinary though. Rooms ok but did not think it warrented a 4* rating though decor is not very inspired and is not very wellcoming.
very helpful and pleasant staff, clean bedding every day, breakfast/restaraunt food excellent.easy access to motorway/airport milan bergamo.
Excellent hotel - value for money
An outstanding place to stay ! Very helpful staff, good breakfast selection, clean and perfect central location.
The staff are very friendly, helpful and always willing to accommodate guest requirements. We arrived early in the day and there was no problem in re-allocating rooms to us. The location is fantastic, adjacent to local squares with restaurants, cafes and bars and right in the middle of the historic centre. Breakfast was good, typical European continental type and perhaps reflects the requirements of the clients; however they may wish to consider extending the breakfast range.
The hotel has a great central location close to the main shopping area and the Cathedral The air con did not work so the room was very stuffy. The room was poorly soundproofed so quite noisy and it was not possible to use WIFI in the rooms
The staff was very nice and competent.
very nice room, air conditioning worked really well, bed was comfortable, staff very helpful and pleasant no
The breakfast wasn't very good. The coffee was stewed and the hot water had a scum on it!!!
The staff was very pleasant and helpful and the room was very clean and neat. Small by U.S. standards, but pretty big by European ones. It was located right on one of the main squares. Because Cremona is a small town almost everything is within walking distance, but this hotel is really in the center of things. Being on the square had its advantages and disadvantages. We were there for one night - a Thursday night - and there was a rock concert in the square until 1200. They closed up pretty much right at 12 and it quieted down, but if you were trying to sleep before then it would have been difficult.
Very central. Good staff. Good breakfast. Clean but small room. Overall good value.
Small hotel in the centre of Cremona. Excellent help in explaining the city. Secure parking a little away from the hotel, but good to find with directions from staff. Good hotel for acceprable price. Recommended!
Easy to find. The internet service was very expensive. There was only one computer and and i thought the tarif was not fair.
easy to find from motorway Easy to acess town centr
The staff was excellant, spoke some English. The room was good size and comfortable. Food was available on site and drinks. Breakfast was not bad Had to pay for internet WiFi, paid for 2 hours, it cut off at 1.5 hours.
hotel staff poor choise of bred for breakfast
Rooms are light and airy and with reasonable space. Food was mediocre. My room was quite cold, and the heating system very noisy.
Easy to reach. Quiet rooms. Very kind staff.
Nothing really its just a standard packaged facility that is fair in quality.
Breakfast, helpful staff, free parking, basic but very functional.
Next only a few Kms to the main motorway and avoids staying in the major city's. Easy to park and convenient for a a supermarket and Mc Ds fast food next door if your late and need food. great easy to use internet for a reasonable fee if you take into account the cheap price, The room was as good as a major chain we also stayed in. Only an hour from the Ferrari factory,
Room clean and newly renovated. Kindness of the hotel staff Bad sound insulation beetween rooms and coridors
Lovely hotel good position would stay there again
The staff were extremely helpful; my room was spacious and spotlessly clean; the breakfast was generous and staff attentive, and their in-house spa was a treat. I also liked its very central position and that it had wifi internet access.
The location was perfect for a visit to the Spa and the hotel staff were always very helpful. There weren't any local brochures or magazines in my room.
Central location, great room, friendly and helpful staff.
Hotel location is central unprofessioal staff, poor restaurant
The city and the hotel look Room was hot, AC didn't work hotel stuff didn't talk proper english
relaxing visit in an attractive town. The baths were beautiful and fun. The hotel staff was very helpful.
Beautifully and simply furnished, large rooms with a great view. The staff were lovely, always helpful and friendly. The hotel is situated in the heart of Salsomaggiore, just across from the spa where they do some great treatments. The shops were on our doorstep as well as some fabulous restaurants just a short walk away.
Friendly front desk staff. Very well positioned, right in the centre of town. Good value for money with breakfast and secure parking included. Driving directions are out of date because it is no longer possible to drive across the piazza where the hotel is situated. Ring the hotel for accurate directions
Comfortable, friendly and central
I liked the fact that it was in the Center of Cremona, the room was spacious and you could feel very nice inside the hotel. To check how clean the rooms are before they give it to a client. It was a bit dusty.
It is in a great location for exploring the old part of Cremona. Even with the street construction, we were able to find parking (a bit of a challenge) and have a fairly easy access to the hotel. The staff were most helpful as needed. The hotel design is really unique!
Good location in down town - you can visit on foot; parking available close to hotel which is necessary because of space limitation.Nice brakefast room.
Very good located in the center of the town and quiet bedrooms. Probably Cremonas best hotel. Cleanliness could still be better. It is a pity that after building such a nice and modern hotel the owner do not maintain it perfectly. Limescale in the bathroom around the bathtub exceed the acceptable and carpets also have seen better times. Unfortunately there is no nice (continental down-)duvet but only a bed sheet and a woollen blanket.
the decor staff at front desk
The stay at this Hotel was wonderful.................the amenities were superb, the location was excellent and I will return again! Loretta Touzell
Extremely friendly staff, helpful, hotel facilities and room are new and very nice. I would stay here again. Hotel staff gave poor recommendations for restaurants.
The location of the Hotel,
The best part of this hotel is the location. Also, though cetnral, it's very quiet compared to other Cremona hotels.
Right in the town centre. Close to the "Terme" Good value.
Good location in very pleasant town. Friendly staff and overall comfortable and clean
Friendly people! Noise insulation from the street.Poor quality of breakfast.Terrible Orange Juice!! No eggs at all.No cheese, no ham, no brown bread, empty trays! The cheapest marmalade of the market? Nothing warm?
The fact that our 2 children (- 12 years) could sleep in the same bedroom and pay nothing! We had an excellent stay for one night, as we were travelling to Abruzzo (Italy).
Good restaurant with local specialties and reasonably priced. Sky TV channels and easy parking.
Nice hotel, very friendly and flexible personal. Only paid internet access, not extremely expensive but still not for free.
I was staying too short time to share my objective opinion.
The staff were very helpfull to myself and wife also several of the staff spoke english too which was a great help for us.The restraunt was excellent and the waiting staff were very informitive about their selection's of food and wine.We will return in the very near future. Only thing missing was tea/coffee making facility in our room,
You get offered a real italian cooffe in your arrival and your departure.
Beautifully restored country mansion house - perfect in every respect. Excellent service, food and value for money. A bit far out in the sticks. My satellite navigator failed to find the correct motorway exit. We finally found the hotel more by luck than judgement.
This hotel is a tourists dream. Well situated, excellent breakfast, very personal friendly and helpful care.. Excellent dinning room.
Once found a gem of a place, helpful staff and good meals. Right by the autoroute and on the edge of a business park - that said, air-con and good double glazing meant that its situation wasn't a problem.
Fantastic room, very nice staff, the adjacent restaurant offered superb food (would return just for the food), quiet. Very recommended for a 1 night stay on the way. location is a bit off. The free internet connection was not working on our 1 night stay.
Beautiful room, quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Resturant very good. None - just that nothing within walking distance and taxis arrive with 18euro already on clock as they come from Piacenza.
The room was very large and the bathroom was huge. Free internet was great. The hotel is not easy to find, but once we did we liked everything. The restaurant had great food. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was huge, it was practically a suite (must've been an upgrade, because we paid for a double) None
Surprisingly beautiful building, faithfully restored, gives a great feeling and impression of italian buildings. Very comfortable and quiet surroundings since it's close to motorway. Great design and accessories make it interesting. Lovely staff make it welcoming- we took a dog and there was even a plate of biscuits for it in the room! Good restaurant with enjoyable local wine and proper italian food reasonably priced. I've stayed several times now and it has always been a pleasure. Nothing- all good
The staff was wonderful! They were so gracious and accommodating - and they spoke english!! It was a bit out of the way.
Very nice the small double room - very quiet location
Very nice hotel, staff attentive and professional. Service a tad slow in the restaurant but quality of food worth the wait. Good with dogs
realy nice place! it looks like 'exclusevily' .the cuisine is exellent and the room design is very comfort - a lot of space, big windows, and bathroom was in white-black colors. breakfast - poor. and sometimes it was too many Old Farmer's Things on the walls...
Owners' kindness, restaurant quality, location, easy to reach, free parking and wifi, quietness during the night, room furniture, close to the city of Salsomaggiore None
very friendly and professional staff, the restaurant was excellent, spacious air-conditioned room breakfast could be a little more extensive
Lovely hotel outside Salso Maggiore terme which is a quaint spa town
The restaurant was very good quality and the location, for us driving, was reasonably near (3km away) Salsomaggiore Terme, our destination. The room was very dirty with mosquitos spread all over. We requested the hotel receptionist if they could change our room but she said that mosquitos come back even when they remove them; besides, they stay still on the ceiling without moving overnight. We were not convinced by the answer but we had no choice. There was also dust on the floor and under the beds and some spider webs on the walls. Cleanliness was overall very poor. The same applies to the otherwise very good restaurant and it is a shame because countryside hotel and restaurant do not necessarily mean dirty. Breakfast was also poor and service non existent; overall staff presence is too low.
Very stylish and spacious room, friendly staff and excellent restaurant. Breakfast could have been a lot better.
Fantastic restaurant for the evening romantic dinner.Very delicious and perfecty prepared food. Chief really deserves Michelin star. Very much recoomended to visit the restaurant. There was many moscitos in the room and no antimoscitos covers on the windows.
Lovely country setting. Friendly staff. Ease of parking.Proximity to the town of Salsommagiore. Mosquitos in the room (even in October!). Spiders and cobwebs. Wi-fi did not work. The dining room was closed - every Monday, but the hotel's wesite makes no mention of this.Poor breakfast choice, apart from 9 jams!
The room was comfortable and pleasantly furnished. The staff were lovely. The hotel resteraunt is fantastic, a real bonus because there appeared to be nowhere else in town to eat. Because the resteraunt is part of the hotel building, it was sometimes extremely noisy between 8 & 10 pm. We were still gratefull to have the resteraunt to go to.
the staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble the hotel was comfortable and tasteful no
Excellent staff, very friendly and service minded. Comfortable rooms and nice and tidy. Also very quiet. Fantastic breakfast buffet.
It is family run and the staft couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.
Friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms, good location for town centre, free parking. Hard bed
It's not often I would describe a hotel as beautiful but that's exactly the description that fits Hotel Villa Fiorita. The location is brilliant...10 mins walk to everything in the centre of Salaomaggiore but away from the noise of the main area of shops, bars n restaurants. It had the relaxed feel of a family owned and run hotel but the class of a top end hotel. And if you want to use the Thermae you can book and pay through the hotel and receive a 10% discount. We would have no hesitation in staying here again if we went back to Salsomaggiore.
The lady and than, the gentleman from the reception desk were very kind. We were in the last days of May and our room was warm (we staied at the last floor). The room was not spacious but comfortable, nice (with two big windows) and clean. The breakfast was very good and diversified containing also fruits. Very nice hotel.
The room was really big and the lighting was terrific. This is not what you usually experience in European hotels. There were two equally large closets, a safe and a refrigerator. The king size bed was so comfortable. There was also a balcony so you could get fresh air. There was no traffic noise. We did not use the Olympic-size pool, but it was there for 10 euros extra. Lots of parking. It was really hard to find. GPS was wrong (the hotel knows this) and there is only one sign, far from the hotel. It is ridiculous that there are not more signs.
I really appreciated the courtesy of the staff and the presence of the staff within the hotel compound.
The hotel was perfect, the room was perfect, the breakfast was perfect!
The hotel was just great!!! I would recoimmend it to anyone as long as they had their own transportation around Cremona.
The reception staff were extremely pleasant, in particular, the lady who greeted us on our arrival, the evening of 26th September 2009. The room was very comfortable and stylish. The bar was only open in the mornings!!!! It would be nice to get a drink when one came back after eating in the evenings.
Friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms, good international breakfast, attended parking lot Temperature variations of the shower ;-)
The room was very spacious, quiet, clean, modern and had a balcony. The breakfast on the first day was great and included scrambled eggs and bacon. The staff were welcoming and helpful. However on the second day chaos reigned in the dining room and the kitchen !! We waited invain for the cooked food for 1and a half hours !There is a picture in the lift of a wonderful swimming pool which gives the impression of a facility in the hotel this is not the case All the sporting facilities listed in the hotel discription are next door and do not belong to The Cremona Palace. If you want to use these there is an extra cherge of 10 euros per day.plus hat and dressing gown which you must hire fro 2 euros. We booked this hotel because we all like a swim every day but did not want to spend the whole day there. So making the 12 euro extra charge unreasonable and including the details as part of the hotel is very misleading.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the available staff made my stay change from a mistake to one of pleasure. The location.
