Pros: Normally I don't express enthusiastic reviews, but in this peculiar case an exception is imperative. Check in perfect! Mattresses perfect (my back thanks) bathroom clean, cheap price, minibar with the cheapest prices ever seen, breakfast awesome !!! furnitures incredibles!!! All built in hardwood. This place is amazing!!!

Pros: Nice location - in the town and outside of the town in the same time.
Cons: Mixed feelings. Price to value is not good. Great potential, but annoying details worsen the overall experience and made me regret paying their self-confident accommodation price. Despite 22:00 night rest deadline, guests from own restaurant are tolerated to make noise till late night. Sound insulation in the apartment area is poor - a lot of disturbing noise can be heard during the day. Breakfast needs serious improvements given the fancy dining one can get in the very same place for lunch or dinner.

Pros: Absolutely amazing stay, we were a family of 9 members and were very well taken care of. Fantastic, quiet location, the rooms are superbly clean and cosy. The hotel and restaurant staff probably the most professional and attentive we have experienced so far on our family summer adventures the last 10 years! The quality of the food is definitely high above the standard of this accommodation category. The wellness can be booked at the reception, worth spending 30 EUR for 2 hours per couple.
Cons: The WiFi connection is rather weaker and not consistent which we mentioned prior check-out, but not a big deal in such a great location.

Cons: I'ts mostly about the general location. It is quite and relaxing, but to get to the center or the train/bus station of Zlin you will need to get a bus or a taxi. Not recommended if you are planning to come back late at night, or outside of the hours of the public transport.

Cons: - loud birthday party in the second floor's guest space - screams, laughing and doors banging. Pension owner did not give any prior notice about it. I had to go downstairs after midnight and ask guests to respect quiet hours in order to get some sleep. - unfriendly waitress in the pension's restaurant (for no obvious reason)

Pros: Location was fine a 10-15 min walk to the city center.The Holendr pub/restaurant is right down the street.The train station not far 10 min walk.In the center is Krasensky pub there kitchen stays open till about 10pm.A 20 min bus ride is Valasske Muzeum Prirode...In the town Roznov pod Radhostem.Also check out Pozdrav z Radhoste bring your best walking shoes for that one...Highly recommend a nice 3 day stay here

Pros: The cleanliness in every corner was a big pros. As well the staff, which was really kind and helpful. The breakfast was rich and tasty, you need to order your main course from cart in forward. You will find interesting upgrades like outdoor electric blinds, built in socket for your phone charger, soap dispenser with a proximity sensor and so on in your modern styled room. There was a huge TV and a kitchenette in the room (we had the biggest apartment). The beds are comfortable. The parking in the front of the hotel and inside is free of charge. The pool with many massage nozzles and integrated hot tubs is price included. You will need to pay extra for saunas, one steam and one dry sauna. But it was cheap.
Cons: The wellness is not only for hotel guests. So it is busy. You can use the saunas only from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm. There are only Czech TV channels. Although the rooms are very clean and modern, I think a soap dispenser with a proximity sensor, paper towels in a dispenser and toilet paper dispenser makes you feel like in a public facility, kind of unusual for a hotel room.

Cons: To be fair, it is mentioned on booking.com, but the hotel really is quite far from the city centre (30 minute walk). There is a train station in the vicinity ("Kotojedy"), which however is nowhere mentioned and not listed on Google Maps either. Wifi barely worked (disconnected every one to two minutes). Breakfast feels a bit overrated here on booking.com, the "buffet" is just a small selection of sweets, everything else has to be ordered manually, respectively even the day before.

Pros: The room seemed newly done and light, air-con worked well. Location is good. Parking very good. I stayed for one night for a business appointment in the area the next morning.
Cons: Staff on arrival spoke a little English, the lady manning the reception in the morning didn't speak English or German, so communication was difficult. Not even an English news channel on the TV, all only local language. Both, bedside and desk lamp did not work, the plugs were only 2pin, so would not have fitted the sockets anyway. The place seems to cater for local guests only. Eggs at breakfast were not cooked through, egg-white still clear.

Our room was outdated, fitted with cheap and very worn damaged furniture. Bed squeaky and very uncomfortable. Old bathroom. On the doors you can see fingerprints and smudges. WHEN ENTERING A ROOM I FOUND A CORNER OF CONDOM WRAPPING. I didn't even tell my wife. Kids corner is just filthy. Have they cleaned the toys even once in the last 10 years?! This is just unacceptable and disgusting. I know it is hard to find a good place in Zlin but definitely avoid this one!

Pros: Very quiet and peaceful, great for 1 night stay. Zlin is an interesting city with a peculiar history. Nice garden, clean room, helpful staff. Comfortable bed.
Cons: The room we stayed in was very small and uncomfortable because it's in the attic, one cannot straighten fully in the shower - so for taller people it's not functional. Breakfast was poor.

Cons: The room hadn't been hoovered. There was a lot of dust under the bed and behind the door. Also there was water leaking out from tiles under the shower (even when turned off) leaving the carpet in hallway soaked.

Pros: Reception staff. All were very friendly and helpful and one of them (a tall blonde lady) even went to the trouble of finding & printing off some information for me. This was a lovely extra touch of service that made me feel welcome. Cool pleasant room. Nice bathroom. Everything beautifully clean. Interesting buildings and lovely mosaics in the garden
Cons: Attitude of restaurant staff wasn't great for a solo female diner, and second course arriving before I had finished the first did not make me feel a valued guest.
