decor of Parador, helpfulness of staff, central location.
The prices for both food and drinks .
Our room was spacious with 2 television sets and a small "sitting room."
The room had little natural light and the small window overlooked the main road. We were informed that only the "superior rooms" had larger windows which did not overlook the road.Although stated to be 4 star, there was no offer with assistance with luggage and the room was a fair distance from reception. The cost of the car park was expensive.
difficult parking , spacious rooms, very expensive restaurant for unxceptional food and poor deserts.
This was an overnight stop as we were travelling south but the Paradore was very comfortable and the food was excellent. A beutiful historic building near the centre of town. The underground car park was useful (if unusual with a lift for the car!) so we didn't have to unload everything for the overnight stay.
My family and I enjoyed the Parador itself. The corridors, the layout, the rich use of color, the placement of furniture etc. Was absolutely stunning. We loved the feel of the Parador.
We particularly did not enjoy the service attitude we experienced in the bar, the night bar and the restaurant. When we were served by male service staff their attitude was shocking. It truly felt as if we were in their way. It was such a relief when we went to breakfast and their were only lady servers. They were professional, helpful and smiled goodmorning.
