The hotel was new and the room was very comfortable. There was unsufficient light in the halls outside the rooms, but the rooms had good lighting.
The price was good. We couldn't find a restaurant near to eat at 9 45 pm
Very nice staff, they gave us very helpful direction through they city.
A modern hotel with excellent facilities and services. Hotel staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was really good. Location-wise, it was not the most convenient place to stay for a visit to the city centre - but still within walking distance. Price is very competitive - a value for money
the design there was some confusion regarding additional beds for our children
Nice, clean and nice personel. Will be back next year.No doubt.
Big rooms, very clean hotel, breakfast is very good Swimming pool must work after eight o clock
Gay-friendly. No issues. No bath - quite common for Italy - but perhaps could have been included for a four star hotel.
The health spa and secure parking made the hotel for the family. There is no dining facility: a taxi or car is essential.
The hotel offered as much comfort as it made me feel like at home. Moreover, it's situated very close to the railway station (15min) as well as to the city centre (25min), for those who would like to take a bus, there is a bus stop almost in front of the hotel. The staff was very helpful, room was clean and nicely furnished, I couldn't imagine better place to stay in Padova!
I like best the comfort of the room and the very nice breakfast. The man at the reception is not friendly at all.
Good and confortable hotel next to Padova Exibition Center (PadovaFiere). Breakfast not so good: scrambled eggs cold and no orange juice. No place to park inside probably because hotel was fully booked.
very good value,a little way to the city centre
Helpful staff, located next to the showgrounds of Padova, restaurants in the vicinity.
everything! not applicable
brandy new hotel, very good service; localization satisfatory for tourism
I just stayed for only one night but I liked very much breakfast...great choice and offer. parking for guests should be included in the price
The hotel was beautiful, stylish and modern. The food (we only ate breakfast there) was of an excellent standard and the views from the dining room were stunning. The staff were very helpful, they spoke good english and could give us helpful advice on trains to Venice, etc. The hotel was well situated for the train station (Venice just 30 minutes away and train travel cheap and efficient) and Padova is a beautiful city. NO
Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms It was not possible to claim NH points as they did not have the system yet to register the points
Inconvenient dangerous parking
Everything was new and clean. Reception desk staff extremely helpful. Too far from Padova tourism sites.
Hotel in good condition with large rooms near to Padova. OK if you are by car. Extremly loud. Student excursion in the same hotel on the same flat. They place family with small children on the same flat between rooms with students.Unacceptable. None could sleep. We were still up at 1.30 in the morning..
It is clean, nice and comfortable. And the price is convinient within the quality. Just it was pity that 2 days from 3 days of our staying the restaurant was closed.
Proximity to motorways, the shuttle bvus to the station and proximity to the city
Cleaness, Location, confort
Good standard the restorant wasn't working during the holidays
comfortable bed, spacious room and bath, good shower dislike using TV as internet, the remote makes an awkward mouse. Generally prefer discreet internet stations in lobby
we had a room on the fifth floor , and the supply ( or pressure ) of hot water was very poor
tidy room, sufficient car parking place. MINOR problems like noises from a next-door baby and one sleepy reception that gives no feedback to a friendly "Ciao" at mid-night.
I didn't like the fact that is was far far away from the city and the breakfast was very poor for a 4 stars hotel.
A good hotel opposite the railway station. Good breakfast in a very nice room. Everything was ok.
Location, location, location! It was literally right outside the train station beside the McDonald's. Breakfast was part of the deal and a really nice spread. The staff were not very friendly.
Padova was an interesting city and we enjoyed exploring it. We took 3 trips into Venice on the train. The hotel location was better than excellent. We are very happy we stayed at the Hotel Grand'Italia and not in Venice. We will recommend this hotal to our friends when they go to Venice.
Very close to station, polite staff, good breakfast selection, large bed, clean. The shower head didn't really work, so had to squat in the bath. Not what you really expect with 4 star hotel.
Easy access to sites.
Convenience to train station sketchy part of town
location is very good. Internet conection is good.
Proximity to station Not told upon arrival that the couple we travelled with had got upgraded to a suite, despite being the main name on the booking. Bit of a surprise to find this out from the said couple at dinner the first night!!!!
Breakfast was good, room was clean, overall good experience. We reserved 3 nights but the front desk turned our key off each day. When I asked about why this was happening, the clerk after looking at our info on his computer asked me when I was checking out, evidently, he/someone was expecting us to check out each day.
Good location opposite rail station for Venice. Easy walking distance to tourist attractions, Quiet, comfortable room, good bathroom. Very good buffet breakfast. Helpful receptionists. Secure car parking across the road. Internet was free in room. Car parking cost 14€ a day extra. No evening restaurant facility in the hotel. Nearby only choice we found was a scruffy Chinese (though the food was good) or McDonalds.
The single bed was nice & firm; the large bathroom was very clean; and the towels lush & large. The breakfast buffet on the weekend was very generous but less so on the Tuesday when I checked out (perhaps it's dependent upon the number of guests in the hotel). The shower curtain, which I believe was supposed to create a circle around the person, did not function properly and was useless.
Luxurious breakfast room with excellent selection. Nice modern lobby. Huge rooms.Convinient valet parking with reasonable rate. Convenient walking distance to historic places. none
Great location Only allowed one key per room!
The staff was realy helpful, location is good. Free parking. The bed was like an extra bed not real bed, the pillow was as stone. Old bathroom.
The staff and service was outstanding. The hotel is conveniently located to nice areas to walk in Padua. Internet service was expensive and wifi was not reliable.
The room was very nice and the staff very attentive No
The staff, particularly the restaurant staff, were very helpful and friendly. The room was large aand comfortable, and the hotel is conveniently situated.
Friendliness of the hotel and restaurant staff, extra person at breakfast was no problem at all.
the mattress was new, so I had a nice sleep I was disappointed to see that no refurbishment was done in the rooms, which are old looking
Friendly and very helpful staff, all of whom spoke very good English. High quality accommodation and good location. For the quality of the hotel, it was good value (especially compared to English hotel prices), but not cheap in absolute terms. Bar prices were very expensive
location was great. For a 4 star hotel it is incredible that there was no free wi-fi access in all rooms.
Nice location and helpful staff This hotel came up as an option when I typed in looking for a hotel in Milano Italy. It turned out to be 2 1/2 hours to the east of Milano. This was a hassle and extra expense and time after a long day. I was a bit angry. The map does not reveal the issue
comfort, cleanliness no wireless internet connection
modern hotel, parking, internet, nice room, free drink, 30min from center by foot.
clean rooms bad location difficult to find reception staff advised me a taxi to the city center, cost would be max. 7 €, in realty taxi called by them costed 15 € (in athe afternoon).
Everything great! Water spilling on the floor of the bathroom between the plastic tent and the bathtub, but not a big deal! just a pool of water on the bath floor!
It was worth of money because of the discount; easy way to get to the hotel from the motorway, car park. Unfriendly staff (receptionists - they did not try to do the best to give us appropriate information, difficulties with English language), only breakfast service, later the restaurant was closed, neighbourhood with noisy railway, bus wash or something like that... Looking generally the hotel isn't worth of 4 stars!
The hotel is very good for the price I paid, considering the high prices for hotels in Italy. The breakfast was great and the room was very comfortable.
It was quaint. It was pretty small, but it served a purpose. We were only there to sleep anyways. Very clean. It's close to the train station, about 20 minutes by foot. The guy at the desk is very helpful, not so much for the woman. She seems she's not very happy about her job or caring about taking care of the clients. They did not advise me that they turn on the air conditioning themselves from their computer at the desk for my room. They don't tell you that you need to use the same swipe card for entry to turn on your lights in the room, which is located by the door inside.
Rooms too cold, not possible to set up the temperature properly. Some of the staff unfriendly. We have been waked up during the night by the receptionist asking our passport cause he made an error during registration!!!!
it is not available to pay in cash at evening arrival.
The hotel staff was efficient, the hotel was easy to find, it offered both outside and underground parking, the rooms were clean, air conditioned and equipped with all business facilities, and the breakfast was diverse.
The staff was helpful, room was clean, this is a newly built hotel.
Nice, clean, friendly, well-situated
Excellent location Our bedroom dropped off a short step from the rest of the room, making for several falls, though luckily none of them injurious.
The location was outstanding, and the view from the 'panoramico' room almost worth the trip in itself! The breakfast was slightly disappointing for a hotel of this quality, and the Google Earth marker is in the wrong place
Location excellent. Staff wonderful.
Good location pleasant helpful staff clean quiet room and clean common parts and breakfast room Adequate but unexceptional and rather modest breakfast. Fruit squash not juice. Pastries and bread goods not of the best quality. Coffee ok.
Excellent hotel, right near st antonio basilica. We had a room with a view to the piazza - very nice! Quite distance from the train station, but there's a comfortable tram and bus service.
Central position, garage available, clean room, nice staff breakfast rather medium, room noisy, bed cracking
Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean, comfortable accommodation.A hotel with a very welcoming atmosphere.
Location, free parking, functioning a/c Pricey
clean comfortable and all of the sights are within easy reach. one very brash receptionist - very insincere (always) and abrupt (at times). price is higher because of the location and the quality of the hotel / service doesn't quite match up to expectations - ok but not great
Modern clean room with all needed comfort one could think of.Very good restaurant.
It was very nice to stay , Clean and Big room there is no Spa during my stay
My wife and I love this hotel very much. The room of this hotel is very clean rooms and very comfortable. The price is resonable and the service is good. The breakfase is nice also. And it only takes 30 mins by car (through highway) form hotel to Venice's main parking tower. Next time we will go back this excellent hotel for sure. It's not easy to fine out the route to the hotel even that we already saw the hotel and used the navigator. Should have more instructions on the road telling people how to go to the hotel.
Nice staff, close to shoppingmall, clean rooms which are small but beautifully decorated. We used it as base to visit Venice, Verona and Padova. Had many TV channels, and if you play with the remote control you can set the audio to english instead of italian. For italian standards a very nice breakfast, free parking, and easy to find. Looks new, with nice beds and the possibility to open the windows for some fresh air. All was better then expected. Best to have a car, since it is outside the center.
Staff has been really friendly and helpful. Despite a wrong booking, the reception staff offered me a minisuite room trying to help me, for the same price. These girl are all nice and I'd like to spend a word for Stefania: thank you!. The hotel is really amazing, brand new, very nice looking, and the bed is perfect. The only thing that I dont consider of the same level of everything else... are the breakfast croissants. I didnt like them, but anyway the breakfast was fine, good coffes and scrambled eggs annd so on.
The room was very nice and comfortable, the location is great for those who need to travel and want to be close to the motorway when leaving Padova.
Beautiful design. Very contemporary large room with a great view. When we arrived I told the staff that our toilet seat was cracked. I reminded them the next day. Two days later after a three night stay, the toilet seat was still cracked. The Sky satellite was not working. The lady at the desk insisted that it was working properly and reluctantly sent someone to check it. Guess what? It was not working and he had to fix it. I am fluent in Italian. I can only imagine how they would treat someone else. Also, the hotel was hard to get to. It is surrounded by freeways and we ended up on the freeway even when we did not need to be there. I would still stay there in spite of these problems because of the newness and unique design of the hotel. The room was quite large with a great view and at a good price.
This is a stunning building in the industrial area of Padova alongside the main route into the city, but it is also the quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in. If you want a great nights sleep in real comfort with fantastic views over the city and within 30mins of Venice I challenge anyone to find better.
very hard to find
Cleanliness of the room, everything was working perfect. Friendly staff. There were no closets for clothes in the room and for long stay like we did it, it was uncomfortable to keep them in the luggages
It is very conviniet, great location for one day visit to Padova, close to autoroad, great bus service
Classical American Hotel Standard, you know what to expect, Free Shuttle to downtown Padova, everything was perfect
Not much Staff not friendly, I have been given the wrong room, the hotel was very far from the centre (although the website said it was)
It depends, because I have booked a room for 3 and the 3th bed was a folding bad and very uncomfortable. Ok if it was mentioned at the booking and not offered as a three persons room. I was disappointed to learn that parking out side and uncovered was paid and that Internet use also paid. In such a hotel I would expect to have those facilities for free as other lower category hotels like ibis for example.
good overall standard and location, staff very good as always, shuttle bus great for city without taking the car into centre
the bed was good, but it was not confortable like other sheraton hotels I've been
very good quality of services and accomodation in logical price
staff at welcome desk was fast in check in and check out parking charges - there should not be any parking charges for room guests
Great value for the money
The room was quiet, even though it is right off a main road. It was air conditioned, which was a plus, and the staff was VERY helpful--gave an outstanding restaurant recommendation--and spoke good English as well as German. I would not recommend this for someone wanting to visit Padova as a city . . . it is a ways outside of the city center.
Nothing The Hotel was one of the worst I ever stayed at. Public carpets and furnitures are unaccetabling wrecked and looks dirty, expecially the restaurant. Personnel in reception was very unpleasant.
Evryone spoke english there. Which was a pleasure The rooms where old, smeled bad and the shower was very poorly lit.I would not stay there again.
Very spacious room in a good location. Took breakfast in local cafe rather than pay for buffet. Shower cubicle could have been bigger given the large bathroom. Also, the towels were thin cotton.
I found the staff friendly and efficient. The location was excellent - my room, at the front noisy tho (earplugs helpful!) - other rooms would be fine. Accom particularly clean and well maintained. As above, my room was noisy, being at the front and on first floor.
The hotel is located directly opposite to remarkable basilica оf sacred Antonij. Numbers settle down deep into quarter, at night silently, cosy enough. Number is not big, convenient. Number bathroom pure, well equipped. There is own parking for a motor vehicle in a hotel court yard. The breakfast is not included in cost and it is given for an additional payment.
Excellent Team at reception and location of Hotel with secured parking.
If you want to visit the Sante's Basilica it's great! Comodity
Excellent breakfast, comfortable room and helpful staff made our short vacation really nice despite the weather
Nothing Terrible location for tourism - encircled by large roads, far from city center (a lot further than staff said it was!). Utterly boring room. Only for visiting the city fair, which is the only thing it's near to.
The room fotos are not like the real ones.
nice and modern restaurant is expensive and the food not so good
A larger more tourist type hotel in a very busy area.
free parking far away from the centre
Located at city centre, very good car access
Great breakfast buffet - lots of choices and supply replenished for late sleepers to 11;00 am. Dinning Room served dinner and the food was very high quality and inexpensive considering other options in the area. Lovely dining room clean linens and 3 great waiters. Fridge in the room, Coffee and tea set up in the room, Hot water kettle was super fast. Desk for my lap top in a seperate nook. Extra blankets and pillows.
This was the best hotel we stayed at in our 2 week tour. We could not find anything to fault. No
Generally, the staff were extrememly helpful and provided good advice on our sight seeing plans and helped with transport. On arrival we were offered a complimentary fresh coffee - very nice. The rooms are of a good standard and comfortable. Access to Venice from Padua is very easy by train. A 35 minute train ride for 5.80EU each way took us right into Venice. It was a bit far from town and a bus was required - but that was my fault for not checking too closely when I booked. A single bus ride on the #9 bus (1EU each way) got us in to town without too much trouble. Not much choice in the way of restaurants around the hotel, the their own one which is around 400m away is interesting and provides excellent food. There is a great pizza joint also about 150m away down the major street. Another one in one of the backstreets was just too seedy for us. One of the male staff members was less than helpful though this may have been because our grasp of Italian was limited.
The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. They recommended and made reservations at two of the best restaurants of our entire trip. Easy to take train into Venice and short trip to Marco Polo airport for return to States. We spent our vacation north in the Dolomites, and while this was no where as nice as up there, it was convenient for two nights for the trip back home and to visit Padova and Venice Room was a little too small
Amazing breakfast Some members of the staff not so gentle
The staff is very cooperative. The breakfast was also very good.
The friendliness and professionalism of staff who at all times went "the extra mile" not at all
Great room, especially for price. Big room, big bathtub, excellent breakfast buffet.
Great breakfast, spacious room with loggia and very nice staff. When we will go to Padova next time, we will stay at this hotel again.
Service was excellent, really attentive. As the hotel was out of the main city, desk manager made good, clear recommendation of restaurant and food selection suggestions. Breakfast was well attended to, with delicious, home-baked pastries, (by the server). Eggs made individually to order and brought to table. More like an intimate B&B.
Personnel (especially at reception and in restaurant) is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Very comfortable bed. Quick access to a motorway yet external sound isolation is sufficient to allow a good sleep.
Very courteous and competent reception on arrival, owner on departure, multi-lingual french-english, top notch people, very good breakfast, silent room away from trafic. What they advertise is what you get, and I'm returning there next time in Padova OK, so yes the decoration is a bit dated year 2000. But when you think about the price of construction work, I understand that they focus primarily on cleanliness of rooms (repainted indeed) and not on more marble. Good choice.
The staff speaks perfect english and provides full assistance to the guests.
New, clean, nice room and bathroom.
Very confortable design hotel. The free mini-bar is a very pleasant ammenity. The restaurant is very good and the bed was very confortable. We were travelling through Italy and the location was very convenient (close to the highway, yet not noisy). When we arrived we we're wrongly informed about the breakfast hours. Because of that information, we were too late to get breakfast. Nevertheless, the front desk staff was very helpful in making up for that mistake and provided us with a simple but nice breakfast.
The room, the quietness
This was our third time in this hotel. Great hotel, friendly staff, confortable room. Good value for the money.
This is second time I stayed inthe hotel, and although it is in the industrial area for me location was excellent. I would use it again. It is not a bad side, but the guy responsible for breakfast should speed up with refilling items that are offered for breakfast.
Wonderfull desing room. Very poor breakfast buffet, location far from the city downtown.
The rooms are very cleaned. The are too many groups in the hotel. So we can't take breakfast. The breakfast is poor.
a beautiful house. This was the third stay.
For what I needed hotel was located perfectly. Breakfast was quite good. Noise from the highway close by, but if you close window you can sleep without any problems.
free parking a bit far from the center
The room it self and the location of the hotel, its easy to rich by car.
service and price
A very friendly hotel at excellent value
Very clean, free garage Wireless is not free of charge, breakfast is extremly poor
Excellent buffet breakfast and very kind staff. Rooms really need a restyling, they look old.
Within easy walking distance of city centre. Good, secure parking facilities. Pleasant, helpful staff.
Very quiet despite busy road.
We found the hotel adequate for our requirements, the staff were friendly and helpful There were no facilities for evening meals
The hotel is located in the surbubian part of Padova. It is very convenient if you travel by car. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they offer quite a wide choice for the breakfast, rooms are clean.
The staff and parking
It was located on such a busy Road/M-way and the noise from the traffic was relentless!
Location to head to Venize, cleaninness, parking Very slow wi-fi in our room. Since it is not in town, but a bit outside, you definitely need a car.
Easy to find from Autostrada. Parking was excellent. Good transport links (bus) into city of Padua
services, location NO
Clean Hotel - Clean Room Breakfast was little bit poor.
It's close to the city center, 10 min. There's a bus stop front of the hotel. It's close to the highway, so easy to get there. The room was clean, and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. Free wifi, and free private parking. Really good hotel on a good price.
I especially liked the fact that the hotel is not in the city center - it is very quiet and peaceful - perfect place to relax. Additional detail - the hotel has its own parking, which is quite rare in Italy. n/a
Staff very helpful and provide excellent service Location outstanding A bit tired
The location.right in the center of the ghetto.lots of abtique shops, restaurants ,bars, cobblestone streets.close to the basilica and a great food market Saturday morning.the roomwas spacious, quite large.old fashioned decor, large bed and a sofa as well. Large bathroom. The service at breakfast was friendly.good cappuccino. I didn't like the front desk staff due to the sour attitude and lack of welcome for no reason whatsoever.the hotel was not busy and the particular front desk woman that was there to check us in was beyond icy.I also asked about local restaurants, had done my own research but gust wanted a local opinion and she was not forthcoming.Based on the rate which I considered high for a weekend night for a hotel that is nice but the glory days are long behind it and the lobby is beginning to look a bit like a grandma's parlor due to the eclectic hodgepodge, I did not think it was a good value and our presence seemed unwelcome : does not make for a pleasant weekend jaunt. Also advertised massage on website, tried to reserve in advance, "not available".
the location is excellent- just a few steps and you are in the center of the city; all in all I can recommend it bread and eggs at the breakfast were not really warm
The hotel was more of a 1 star. The showers were so small that we were unable to shower. Poor lighting in the rooms and the bedding was full of insect which resulted in us being bitten. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Terrible experience would not recommend it! See above
Very comfortable rooms, excellent service, breakfest solid, you can eat lot of differnet foods and drinks, and this is unexceptable. Little bit too noice because of bars in front of hotel;nothing awfull
Wonderful location, attractive room and a reasonable price.
The location of the Majestic Toscanelli near the piazzas paired with the friendly staff and beautiful accommodations makes it the perfect place to stay in Padova.
location & service none
nothing Management was very rude and outside noise was impossble to sleep.
Friendly Staff, nice room & convenient to find. Pity no parking outside the hotel but a garage was available close by at an extra cost.
Large, modern room. Good bathroom. Nice breakfast Helpful staff. Room did not have a proper window, A pierced brick frontage was covering the window.
breakfast was well presented, with fresh ingredients daily and excellent coffee and juices, plus ability to make soft boiled eggs. room was stuffy at times with poor ventilation.
easy to find, on-site parking, and proximity to city center, Their custom-printed city map was excellent and we used it to navigate the town on foot all day. no
At the beginning I had a noisy room, next to some fan. I complained and they promptly and very kindly moved me to another room -- which was perfect. I simply feel at home in this hotel, I go quite often for business.
The location was good for walking into the city - hotel was quiet and fine for short stay Rooms has a dated feel and were quite cramped
it was a good hotel and breakfast was good
Very Quiet near the centre
quietness, kindness of personnel the single room had only shower place
A little expensive with few amenaties
When we first stepped into this hotel, we thought that the owner has been good friends with whoever is granting the stars. Everything, except the bed linen tells you this is not a four-star hotel. The furniture is torn, the decoration is poor, and the bathroom is a disaster, painted everywhere, yes, you heard well, painted on the walls, floor, and ceiling with the same revolting pale yellow in an antique style. The cleaning staff would never know if they did a good job, and the guests cannot trust the cleanness. Hard to believe, but the bathtub itself is pained with the exception of the floor covered with small pieces of ceramic. My husband hurt his foot in the ceramic pieces from the bathtub and the receptionist kindly offered us a smaller room with shower instead of bathtub. The shower cabin was painted with the same yellowish as the rest of the bathroom. My husband got another injury from the bed edge that is very sharp. Last but not least, although the hotel is beautifully located in a quiet residential area, by the river, it is far away from the attractions and the train station. It is a good half an hour of walking or otherwise walking to the tram takes about the same time overall.
Professional and helpful service
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The elements themed rooms on each floor were different, but the totally dark blue bathroom was a bit of a shock at first!
fantastic, wonderful service, so friendly and the hotel is a beauty!
A very good hotel, excellent staff and services. The floors are inspired using the 4 earth elements which makes it interesting and very modern. Perfect position (5 minute walk to the center of Padova)
Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Pleasant though small communal areas and light, bright breakfast room. Nice ambiance, with tasteful furnishing and interesting variations on each floor as far as decor concerned. Very welcome cold drinks available near bar some evenings. Good selection for cold breakfast buffet including fresh pastries; attentive and quick service. Designer features not always user friendly. Tall people found the low lights over breakfast tables a hazard; table cloths too long and easily pulled when guests moved, with possibility of everything ending up on the floor. Difficult to pour coffee and milk from jugs brought to tables. Bathroom - gap beween wall and shower glass resulted in flooding on floor no matter how careful one was.
Staff were so helpfull with maps, directions, taxis and looking up event details.
Staff very friendly but reserved and beatiful view from balcony on 4th floor. Limited breakfast, Not able to cook a omlete.
Good location just off the old centre of Padua. Good contemporary hotel design, free car park.
