10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best accommodations I ever stayed in. The place is situated on a hill overlooking a valley. The owners are very friendly and passionate about their place. The food they served in their restaurant was all produced by family members. If I go again to Tuscany, I would go back to this accommodation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A gem of a place to stay. Room and location were wonderful, great views, food and service was superb. Brilliant breakfast and evening dinner, all homemade and fantastic quality. Excellent value for money, was a one night stop over but could have easily stayed much longer.
Cons: The fact that we had to leave.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is just an amazing run family business. We got a great welcome from the whole family and they prepared lunch for us as we arrived at short notice. We ate our evening meal there as well, sitting outside our room with a beautiful view of Florence in the distance. All the food we ate was home grown with the wine and cheese being exceptional as it all was. This is a really great quiet place off the beaten track to just relax and chill out. I can’t stress enough how friendly and helpful that these people are without being on top of you. If I could mark higher I would. We will definitely be returning but for longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely family
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I read all the excellent reviews before going and had high expectations. Our hosts Eleonora and Roberto ended up exceeding them! They are simply beautiful people -- warm, sincere, skilful, hardworking, and so proud of their property. The location is tranquil. The rooms are tastefully decorated. We were the only guests there and had the restaurant all to ourselves. The food was perfect and plentiful. We loved listening to Eleonora telling us all about how their family started the farmhouse 19 years ago, and how they built literally everything with their own hands. My family and I loved everything about our stay, and it was a perfect way to end our Tuscany trip. I will certainly be back if I visit Tuscany again. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!!!
Cons: This is not about the stay, but Google map's driving instructions once you enter Carraia will get you stuck on the wrong side of the church. Eleonora sent us better instructions as soon as we made the booking, and we should have been more careful following them.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, great food, beautiful location
Cons: Everything great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a fantastic find! Roberto & Eleanora have created a fabulous retreat in a old farmhouse in the countryside. The rooms are beautifully styled and they prepare and serve, both a delicious dinner and breakfast from their own organic produce. They are so friendly, you feel you have made friends for life within minutes of meeting them. The Chianti produced by Roberto’s brother was free-flowing and superb too! Cannot recommend this place enough and we will be back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect! The amazing view, owners, perfect room and breakfast! Fully recommended and we will come back again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What an incredible place! The room was cozy, romantic and well done. The owners, Roberto and Eleanora, were warm and welcoming. We were the only guests that night and they made dinner for us so we didn’t have to drive back down the hill. Roberto shared a glass of wine with us (made by his brother). Mama made the pasta, papa made the prosciutto, Eleanora made the delicious baked goods, Roberto was the architect and builder. A perfect last night stay in Italy!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very Kind hosts, beautyful Roms and very good food! We have enjoyed our stay.

Pros: We enjoyed the dining experience , staff were very personable, and the chefs little treats were lovely .
Cons: The room 302 was too small. I felt for Deluxe double it was not enough space , even though the terrazzo was there it was too hot in summer. I felt we were not given an adequate room for the money . Also the breakfast menu was confusing , it should have been included. The a la carte menu had, no fruit or toast , jam etc.

Pros: The staff is amazing and very caring. From Leonardo who created us as we walked into this charming 12 room hotel to Thomas who took care of us during breakfast, to the concierge who took care of our travel needs. The hotel rooms are charming, spacious, and have good sized bathroom and kitchenette which was great.
Cons: Only two things stopped me from giving this place a 5 star rating: 1. The hotel at night has a oder in the rooms. They try to mask it with the glade / vapor sprays on the floor but it does not do the trick and can smell like a wet clothes. 2. My pet pieve, no iron and on the weekends no other option to iron. It is an Italian law supposedly but I stay at a Westin and Hilton in Italy which both provided me with an iron and ironing board

Pros: I stayed one night with my daughter, who is attending school in Florence. Everything about the hotel and its staff was superior to what one would expect. We ate both lunch and dinner at the hotel and it was special. The new Executive Chef took time to visit and talk about the menu and local cuisine at both lunch and dinner. The entire staff couldn' t have been any nicer and was attentive without being on top of you. The site was like a postcard
Cons: I had to catch a 6:00am flight thus missed breakfast with the morning sun

Pros: The hotel was nice, clean and close to Mercato Centrale. The staff were very friendly and willing to help when needed. They offer a welcome drink each day between 5:30pm - 7:30pm which is nice after a long day of touring Florence in the heat. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The staff wrote nice birthday notes and left a bottle of Prosecco for my wife, which made her day.
Cons: The rooms were on the smaller side - if travelling with two check in bags, there wasn't much room to have both bags open or much closet/drawer space to put clothes out. Not a big deal, but some people may life to unpack and put the bags away.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bedding. I loved the pillows. Good layout in the twin room with two beds distant from each other against the wall(just like a college dorm). Good privacy if you are traveling with family. Large patio with chairs, table and sofa. Valet parking is good for 24hr. You can stay for only one night and leave the car in garage for another half day.
Cons: Twin room is a bit smaller than the double room. Feels more like a room in a suite. No access to your car after it gets to the parking garage. No drop-off parking zone. You will have to find the nearest possible street parking to take out your luggage and get yourself check in.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed, really a great bed
Cons: The wifi connection will be improvement
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This property is well located to visit the sites in Florence typical for an American traveler visiting. The train station is within walkable distance, so it is possible to take the train into Florence and then walk to the hotel (depending on amount of baggage & going over cobblestone streets/sidewalks). This is very near the Academia with David statue and nearby restaurants. The room was well sized for being in a downtown/historic area. The features of the room were modernized & clean. AC was on and kept the room comfortable even for a US traveler during the height of summer heat. The rate we purchases included breakfast daily that was a nice start to the day with typical options for a breakfast buffet in Europe. The food was fresh and well prepared.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was so nice, specially the room with the terrace and the amazing view over the Roofs till Fiesole. All was clean and the stuffs had always a smile on their faces. The breakfast was very good, specially the Cappuccino, which you can order. Room was Ready 10 minutes after our receiving which his a bonus from our side. The tea time we didn´t use in the afternoon, which is included in the price. We are very often in Firenze, and have seen a lot of Hotels, but this will be our favourite one, also for our next trip. We felt very warm wellcome! Thank you!
Cons: All was fine!

Pros: Good choices for breakfast. Lovely helpful staff. This was my second stay at the hotel and I’d stay again.
Cons: Nothing
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Staff were fabulous! Made you feel like a VIP. Rooms were small, but charming and so comfortable. One outlet was universal, so we could charge more devices without multiple adapters. Great breakfast and tea in the afternoon. Only 10-15 min from the sights. Has an elevator, so it's also good for tired legs at the end of a long day or family travel or elderly travel. Decent hair drier which is good to know since many hotels don't have very good ones.
Cons: These suggestions not a criticism of the hotel. Rather a few notes for potential travelers. Most hotels in the area seem to have shampoo, but not conditioner. Also be prepared for small (but very very good!) cups of coffee.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Big bathroom and comfy bed
Cons: No toaster for breakfast, although the staff did make us some when we asked.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: 1. Location 2. Quiet and clean 3. Nice breakfast 4. Excellent service 5. Excellent cappuccino
Cons: The electricity in our room went out twice in the night and my husband has a c pap machine that shut off. The room key operates the power and it malfunctioned. That was the only thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, far from the crowds. Only 10 minutes walk to Academy and 14 min. walk to Duomo. Descent Breakfast.
Cons: Everything was Ok!

Pros: Excellent breakfast with gluten free options and fresh strawberries. And great cappuccinos! The hosts Perla and Franco were so friendly and welcoming, they are very special people. They provided everything we could have asked for including transportation to and from tram station and to restaurant for dinner. Our room was immaculate and the in-room sauna was a much needed and appreciated feature after a long day of walking the area!
Cons: More suggestions for day trips in the area. Unfortunately, the winery in the local area on the day we had to explore was closed (Sunday). But that was just unfortunate timing on our part.

From the extraordinarily friendly and thoughtful hosts - Pearla and Franco (they are truly beautiful people); to the splendid scenery of rolling Tuscan hills; to the pristinely manicured gardens; to the lovingly restored and immaculate accommodation in a 14th century building - you will never want to leave. And, all of this is within a 20 minute tram ride from the heart of Florence - bellissimo.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was an amazing experience. First of all we were welcomed by the most gentle and sweet couple/the owners of the B&B. They made us feel like home and where very serviceminded. Other than that they are just super nice people and interesting to speak with. It is visible that they care about their guests and they enjoy to meet new people. It’s the kind of people you will always remember and that makes travelling like an adventure - so thank you for that :) I have to admit that I was served the best cappucino I have ever tried! And the owner also let me try his own home made liqueurs - it was really tasty and interesting to try. Second of all the house is like a castle with beautiful marble interior, hand painted ceilings, beautifully decorated rooms with big private new bathroom and a very nice and clean garden with cozy chairs to enjoy the amazing landscape view - it looks like a beautiful painting. It will give you peace in mind :) It is also close to train station which will take you to the center of Florence - very easy and comfortable. We recommend to stay at this B&B if you want to spoil yourself - you will not regret it! :) Best regards from Olga&Dennis&Masha&Maxim
Cons: There is nothing not to like :)

Cons: The rooms are very small, even to European standards. I wasn’t expecting such a small room for the price they charge. The breakfast was a bit skimpy too. Maybe some cold cut and better bread would help. But overall we liked the hotel and would probably stay here and hope for a better room, just b/c of the great service you get from the staff.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is really good, and the time for breakfast is very long. The waiters there are very nice.
Cons: Every single people working there were very nice to us, unfortunately excepts one receptionist, and because of this one, I have to give bad score for "Staff", which I do not think I am fair. But they need to carefully look back to the dishonest guy. He was the one who welcomed us and worked for our check-in. He asked me to pay city tax for 2 persons and 8 nights on the check-in. I was supprised a bit since we normally pay it when checking out. But fine, I paid him by cash and also my colleague . He didn't give me the receipt for the city tax, and I thought it would be mentioned in the receipt at the end. Then 8 days later, I was asked to pay the city tax again, by another receptionist when checking out. When I said I already paid, she asked me for the receipt of the city tax, which I could not show her because the other receipt has mentioned only room fee. I asked her to check with the guy at check-in, he told her on the phone that he for sure remembered I had not paid the tax, and he remembered that he checked my credit card only, but not asking me to pay anything!!! Then at that time I am quite sure that he did not tell the truth. I booked the non-refund room and how the hell he could ask to check my credit card when the room already paid long before I come! The female receptionist said that they would look back to the camera (and in this case, they would see me paying the tax by cash) and inform me or communicate with me. But several days have passed, I receive nothing from Luca Room Mate.

Cons: Nothing... all was great.
7.5 Good
Pros: The rooms were clean and the location was perfect. The breakfast was also good.
Cons: I didn't like that my room was facing the street, and every single morning at 5:00 am the garbage truck was coming to pick up the trash and the trashed glass bottles. This was so annoying and I was not able to get good sleep.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Rachel and Nigel are the absolute best!!! Most of the food is made on site including the butter and jam. The breakfast team were on point every day and we stayed for seven nights. Rachel learned my daughters’ names on the first day and our baby got used to her voice. The location was perfect, great access to the city centre with lots of activities dotted around. The staff were incredible and they treated and greeted us like we were new guests every time they saw us. They treated everyone this way every time I observed their hospitality in public spaces. In my opinion, the warmth from the concierge and breakfast team filtered down and there was a general pleasantness among the guests irrespective of their nationalities. Staying here definitely amplified our Florence/Tuscany experience as it exceeded my expectations.
Cons: It’d be great if other meals or light snacks could be served with a proper room service menu.
