being central to town bar prices too expensive
very modern and comfortable
Perfect location for our trip. Great access to surrounding area.
Well located in centre of town next to main shopping centre
The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Parking was a real problem. We were given inadequate instructions by the hotel staff and ended up in the El Corte Ingles part of the underground car park and had to pay three times as much when we came to check out. We can't have been the first to have faced this problem.
The room was cleaned each day. It would have been good to have a range of prepared fruit for breakfast as oppossed to a fruit bowl with bashed apples and a few kiwis.Wifi didnt work for the three days I stayed. I didn't like the orange furry throws that were over the bed. They looked old, scruffy and unclean.
Room was clean and comfortable - lovely . Food was great
A very nice self catering hotel. Very clean, very fresh. The bus service was a little`" hit & miss". Probably not the best hotel for young families because you are completely reliant on busses. Needs a better bus service.
People were very nice and helpful Not applicable. No complaints
It was very clean and basic, but a good place to stay with friendly staff.
Easy, well located, comfortable and well equipped, exceptional staff. Fair acoustic isolation.
Peaceful, quiet hotel, friendly staff Poor location, restaurants difficult to find, garage entrance very narrow and awkward for a large car
Politeness of staff, the room, Parking and the city The breakfast
Availability of parking; quiet location. Breakfast was poor.
Very comfortable, spacious room with all the facilities we needed. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a well-cooked and well-presented dinner at a reasonable price. Check in was a little protracted and not very welcoming. There was no offer with assistance for luggage, and the hike from reception to the room was no little distance.
The location Our room overlooked the front entrance of the Parador and we were disturbed by the emptying of the bins early on and then by the large number of parents taking their children to the school situated opposite.
My wife and I have visited several Paradors, and that is always a pleasant experience. This one was no exception. It is beatuifully situated with a panoramic view, it has beautiful interiors and the guest rooms are very nice and comfortable in the typical Parador style. The breakfast buffet was very god. Being Norwegians with a constant need of a tan in our summer holidays, we were sligthly disappointed with the relatively small pool with very few sunbeds.A large lawn at the side of the pool was used by a number of guests for relaxation, but there were no available sunbeds here, so we had to lie down straight on the ground for a nap in the sun. An improvement of the pool facilities would increase the comfort for summer guests. We also found the restaurants outdoor terrace a bit small ,so there seemed to be to few places to spend the time outdoors on the parador area.
room sumptous, locale from the pages of Cervantes' Don Quoites, food excellent, Castle and staff eager, top notch, exciting . asked for creme natilla desert with nightcap on patio balcony... was told no from bar tender
The hotel was well positioned but we arrived there at five oclock in the afternoon after over 6 hours drive and we could not get anything to eat as the catering facilities were already closed until 8 oclock
The locations is very good if you're planing to travel do discover Spain. Just check the weather forecast because it's really hot in the summer. The food was a bit expensive, but as it's a 4 star hotel....
The Parador itself is a castle, so i guess you could not ask for more. The rooms are spacious and the pool is nice (open in september). In terms of location, this parador is in the villages centre. However, if you plan on going hiking in the sierra de gredos, keep in mind it is a two hour drive to the main hiking trails.
The location of the hotel in the grounds of the castle was fantastic. Everything was fine.
In a good location for our trip across Spain. Very clean, staff good, not much English spoken, so communication problems at times. Excellent value for money. The church/tower bells that rang all night on the side of the hotel in which we were. Too bad, as it is so quiet there otherwise :)
We like hotel staff and the nature. We enjoy in very very good food and wine. The Hotel Finca Canturias is excellent and all the people which work there.
The owners we very helpful and made our stay lovely. Every easy to find. Food was superb. Let us have the dog in the bar which saved him being out in the car. Glad to have the hotel. Everything was perfect.
