9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice owners. They helped us. With our carproblem and saved our vacation. Klean and spacious appartment. Near a big carrefour.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable, and the apartment was well furnished overall. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare meals. Caleta Olivia is not an attractive place, but the location was convenient because it was just a short taxi ride from the bus terminal, and there was a large supermarket directly across the street. The wifi worked well.
Cons: A sign by the road saying "Apartamento del Sol" would be helpful, since there is no street number, so it is hard to know if you're in the right place. My taxi driver circled around and around before we found the property. There wasn't always a staff member on site, since Sandra (who was otherwise a pleasant host) has another business. A neighbor went to get her when I arrived and was standing around with my luggage; if he hadn't been outside I would probably have had to wait until someone showed up. A fan upstairs in the bedroom would be helpful, since the ceiling fan over the main living area doesn't quite manage to circulate air into the loft. It also makes a thumping noise because it is suspended by a chain and not firmly attached to the ceiling. Opening the windows let in a lot of noise from street traffic and barking dogs.
7.5 Good
Pros: Big and comfortable
Cons: Noisy neighbour and dogs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The unit was close to the supermarket, butchers, green grocers and bus terminal. The host was lovely and very accommodating when we asked to extend our stay until the evening.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.

6.8 Good (163 reviews)
5.5 Okay
Pros: Not much.
Cons: The maintenance man has a lot of work to do.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly
Cons: Too expensive for the room and lousy wifi
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The shower
Cons: Room too noisy
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is within walking distance of a few restaurants and some shops. Breakfast was simple, but good.
Cons: The room is fairly dated, and our room didn't have any natural light to speak of.
5.0 Okay
Cons: price for 2 people for 2 twin beds in 1 room was $50. At checkout the desk said that price was for only one person and charged us $80. Also the internet barely worked and all they said was “yeah it’s slow”. It was not a great experience at all.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff, good wifi.
Cons: Not good value for money. This was the cheapest I could find in caleta olivia but for 65 USD/night you would like things like windows in your room. The staff/owner could not omit the 21% tax from the bill which every other hostel has done for me so far. Instead I have to go to customs with a receipt for USD $9. Their system would not accept my card so I had to dip into my cash reserve. The breakfast was also not what you'd expect for that price. Coffee/tea, cereal (no bowls), juice and some bread. That's an OK breakfast but not good value for money.
6.8 Good
Pros: Close to town and ocean. Easy to find with a pizza restaurant
Cons: Breakfast was poor. Must be improved
6.3 Good
Cons: Parking was not secure
