Pros: Location, pool, rooms cleaned on time, response to requests timely, beautiful facility
Cons: Selection, quality & price of food. Showers too small. Desk never had any change for US currency, would not cash checks, rarely had cash to exchange for foreign currency, no cash stations on premises, most of machines in fitness station didn't work.
Pros: The hotel is ideally situated for a small conference - it recently accommodated our group of approx. 150 with ease. Staff easily accommodated us with rides to our rooms on their golf carts. Room service was exceptional - especially a very cheerful "Valerie" (I believe her name was).
Cons: Restaurant staff could not get our order right and I finally had to get up after waiting 20 minutes and ask the bartender for my own bottle of soda - I waited at the bar until he gave it to me despite mild protests from the hostesses that they would get it for me. I blame this on the restaurant and not hotel. But this truly was the only bad experience during our 5 day stay.
Pros: Great breakfast and beach area. Good vibes. Front desk helpful.
Cons: Building and elevators seem older. Could use more bellboys
Pros: Me and my partner spent the NYE week at Magdalena. Staying there for three days we had already had a great time with good food/drinks at their restaurants, beach front rooms/great views, complimentary offers of bike rentals and scuba lessons in the pool.
But the true hospitality came in when we met with an accident the day before we were supposed to fly out of Tobago. The staff were so amazingly caring, people there took great care of us - starting with the concierge calling every few hours daily to check and see how we were doing and if we needed anything, and the General Manager of the property not only coming by everyday to see us and going above and beyond to drive us to the hospital and bring us medication. Extremely humane and courteous staff, we had tears in our eyes the day we left at their kindness and the courtesy extended to us. We have only good things to share about this place. It is truly the best place to stay in all of Tobago.

Pembois Buffet, one of 6 restaurants, serves international cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are 3 bars/lounges and a golf course, and rooms at this upscale hotel get the details right with deep soaking tubs and pillow menus.
Pros: we stayed here last minute after our other place had mold and there were very few openings. I would recommend everyone look elsewhere. Aside from a nice pool and a relatively i crowded beach, there is little else I liked about this outdated resort.
Cons: The staff was incredibly rude - a few were lovely, but most were terrible. The room was dirty, our bathroom sink backed up from hair (not ours), the food was mediocre, the service slow. It felt like a 1970s hotel that hasn't been updated. Stay elsewhere.
At Turtle Beach by Rex Resorts - All Inclusive, you'll have access to onsite scuba diving, snorkeling, and sailing. The 2 outdoor tennis courts and outdoor pool provide recreation options for everyone. Kiskadee serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 2 bars/lounges and a free kid's club are other highlights at this all-inclusive resort, and rooms offer balconies and room service.
Pros: Clean, comfortable room
Clean beach with adequate number of beach chairs
Close to airport
Good proximity to outside restaurants and external boat trip
Desk arranged taxi tour of the island
Room upgrade offered without additional cost
Cons: Limited options for meals - lunch and dinner buffets only, no menus
Lunch and dinner buffet costs were expensive for what was offered
Pros: Coco Reef is a short walk from the airport and overall feels very safe and mostly clean. By US standards, the bathroom in our room was pretty gross and the bedding needed updating. We were in room 210 and liked having a view of the pool and the ocean. We may stay here again, but also hope that for the price, we can find somewhere cleaner. It's hit or miss with the staff. Some are very friendly and others seem put out by guests. Melissa's fajitas at the restaurant closest to the beach are a must.
Cons: Cleanliness and outdated bedding
Pros: The resort is beautiful. When you enter the lobby the view is absolutely breathtaking. The front desk staff was very nice, cordial and informative. Very nice staff everywhere in the restaurant and boutiques on the beach. Close proximity to all activities. I can not wait to come back to Coco-Reef Tobago!!!
Cons: The floor tiles need some sprucing up. They are really gorgeous but a bit worn.
Pros: Beach, staff, food, view from room.
Cons: Business center equipment was out of date and in bad shape. No wifi in rooms. Live birds tied to railings in restaurant watching you while you eat seems very sad and cruel.

Offering ocean views, The Pinnacle Restaurant serves international cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A poolside bar and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like premium bedding and down comforters.
Pros: Comfortable bedroom and balcony.
Late check out was reasonable priced.
The room was clean and the mini bar was stocked
Cons: 1) Didn't have water in the old wing as soon as we arrived; that was fine as problems do happen but no one mentioned it on check in.
2) Reached for breakfast at 9:50 (breakfast finish at 10) and most of the buffet was finished and no one was accommodating so we left.
3) The entry cards to the entrance door stopped working a few times and the receptionist forgot to leave it out when we returned so a security guard had to give us access.
4) There was no duvet or comforter (staff didn't know what that was) available only an old worn out blanket which was even more uncomfortable than the single thin sheet on the bed.
5) The bathroom had no privacy as the entry door was a frosted glass shower door with no locks.
6) The price of everything (drinks and food) was exorbitant.
7) There was a big sports match I needed to see and the television didn't work.
8) The sea was dirty but that's not the hotels fault.
9) Most of the staff were unfriendly.
10) The hotel is fairly secluded from any other place so a car or taxi is a must.
