Pros: The hosts were lovely, The Old Parsonage is stunning and our room was perfect. We had a real peaceful stay at The Old Parsonage. The breakfast choices were great, and changed daily. Pros: Lovely, relaxing and quiet. The owners were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcomed. Would happily stay again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful house in a beautiful location. Hospitality was outstanding with homemade bread, cakes etc. The freshly made bread in mornings and fresh cakes in the afternoon left in our room were great little touches that made us feel welcome. Lovely homely touches of paintings of the area, and lots of choice on breakfast. The hosts were on hand to help with any little thing and were very sweet and talkative. It was a delight to stay here. The area is fab if you're a Walker, not so much if you struggle with hills. There are some great walks around the area for experienced and not so. The house is kept in a wonderfull condition with soft colours and very natural surroundings in keeping with the houses age and nature around area. Overall a lovely stay.

Pros: The hosts were fabulous, the accommodation spotless and beautiful, location stunning. A perfect weekend away. I would have no hesitation recommending and hope to visit again very soon.
Cons: There was absolutely nothing to dislike on any front.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful period property, very comfortable and clean. John and Dely were extremely thoughtful and friendly. A short (downhill/uphill) walk from the historic village of Boscastle and only a short drive from a variety of other fabulous North Cornwall locations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We vistied between 6-9Sept as part of a family motorcycle tour. The property is set in a very quiet lane above Boscastle. Its a steep clib from the village, but its worth it !! On arrival we were met by Jon and Delyth. The property has eight large rooms. We were even provided with afternoon tea on our arrival in the conservatry. Everything you need is available. If its not, then Jon will try to find it for you. Fresh cake, coffee, tea, along with fresh milk is available. Even sweets lying in bowls around the house !! The beds were massive and comfortable. During the evening and night there is no noise or light at all. Its ideal for a good nights sleep. Breakfast is pre-booked the evening before and again its first class. Local products cooked to perfection. Home baked bread and a host of options to choose from. The property has a list of establishments for evening functions and meals. They are highly recommended too.. The property os outstanding and Jon and Delyth are perfect hosts. Highly recommended.

Pros: Roz was a wonderful host. Very friendly and helpful regarding sites to see and restaurants. In addition to the cereal, fruit, etc. we were offered a choice between 3 meals, all of them very good. This is a beautiful home in the country with gorgeous views from our window. Conveniently located (10 minutes) near Boscastle and other places worth visiting.
Cons: It was a little hard to find at first when relying on our car sat nav system. The address is give as a postal code which put us a few blocks away. After we figured this out, no problem. This was our fault as we should have relied on Google maps to guide us instead.

Pros: We had a lovely mini break staying just outside Boscastle in Reddivallen Farmhouse. Everything was to an extremely high standard and the host was very welcoming and gave excellent attention to detail. My husband particularly enjoyed his cheese omelette for breakfast! The farmhouse itself is a beautiful building set in pretty grounds as part of a working farm.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful farmhouse set on a working farm in lovely countryside Warm and welcoming we will be back
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We received a lovely warm welcome and stayed in a beautiful comfortable room. The farmhouse is set in a lovely location with great views and a short drive to Boscastle. Fabulous breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful beautifully decorated farmhouse (although I would say "farmhouse" as it is a magnificent. It is however on a working farm so therefore qualifies! The setting is quiet and gorgeous.), VERY comfortable room (great bed) and very tasty breakfast. Liz was very friendly and had great advice about things to do. The walks along this section of the coast are a real treat.
Cons: The shower could be stronger (but that's a pretty minor issue)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peacefulness of the farm, the owners friendliness & hospitality and making us feel at home! Excellent 3 nights. Very helpful and got us excellent Sunday roast at last minute which made up for lack of meal in Cotswolds even though we had booked a Sunday meal with that property 8 months prior! Loved the sheep and cows on grounds and The fresh breakfast every morning was outstanding!
Cons: It truly was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a large room, with a comfortable large bed. Liz the owner was magnificent, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful. Meg the puppy was an added bonus.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was exceptional and Liz is very personable and a super hostess, very informative of the local area. The bed was also very comfortable and the room beautifully finished, its a working farmhouse but has a nice homely but contemporary feel. The room was spotless and the linens crisp and clean. Location was very central for getting to lots of the areas we were interested in visiting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning.
Cons: Nothing major, the WIFI was very slow but was expected due to the location and the thickness of the walls of the farmhouse (its very old and has thick walls) so I would advise anyone staying to do your homework for visiting areas etc before you go as it was a little frustrating not being able to access the WIFI to do any research before heading out each day. (our fault for not doing the above!) Also another small niggle was the pressure for the shower, it was very low although Liz did mention this was going to be updated in the future. Having said that, neither is a big issue and it certainly wouldn't prevent us from staying here again in the future.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything was perfect, lovely location, fantastic staff, lovely dogs, great food and the room was fantastic
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazingly comfortable bed, very clean throughout and superb freshly cooked breakfast.
Cons: Shower a little weak, but very minor issue.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, helpful, friendly with all of the facilities you would expect. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Fire alarm bleeping in the early hours, but sorted when informed in the morning.
5.0 Okay
Cons: The gentleman owner did not seem apologetic or anything towards not being able to check in for 3 hours. Though an email had been sent this had gone into junk. As it states checkin is between 3 and 12pm it was frustrating that the B and B was completely shut when arriving at 5pm. With no way to contact the owners. It was not until 8pm they returned and then the customer service was disappointing. I would recommend a mobile number be left on the door if no one will be in and some training on handling customer issues.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I came across Boscastle completely by off chance, when I booked this accommodation last minute. The location fit perfectly into my travel itinerary to visit Tintagel Castle. The room itself is clean, with a comfortable bed (6x shared female room, no bunk beds, just single standard, comfy beds) and all the necessities needed and beyond. The bathrooms, kitchen and the lounge rooms were all neat, tidy, clean and well equipped. I fall in love with the village and its quaint, wonderful atmosphere and ended up extending my stay. A shop, restaurant, post office are all in walking distance and parking is free in the large car parking about 5 minutes walk away between 17.00-10.00. Superb walking paths, a few local shops, farms, cafés with delicious treats and museums also nearby. You can not beat the reasonable price of this hostel in the area and the value it offers for it is absolutely fantastic.
Cons: Nothing that is the hostels fault. The wooden window frame has expanded due to the weather and I did not manage to close it. Everything else was perfect. Thank you!

Pros: Nice People, very friendly. Staff is very helpful and knows the area. Great! Cosy place away from the backpackers crowd. Amazing for hikers and cyclists.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wide range of cooking tools, ie ovens, stove tops, microwaves, fridges and freezers. The dining/lounge area had plenty of comfy dining chairs and sofas and tables plus plenty of tourist information. The warden was very personable and helpful. She gave us a personal insight into her experiences during the floods at Boscastle in 2004.
7.7 Good
Pros: This YHA has an excellent location, it was very easy to do the coastal walk from Boscastle to Tintagle & then return on the bus. It is a very clean & attractive facility. The manager is very efficient & friendly. We phoned the day before & she was able to accommodate us to leave our backpacks while we explored for the day. Although we did not use the kitchen to prepare food, it was very well equiped and well organized. I would recommend YHA Boscastle to anyone.

Pros: Mark and Karen are perfect hosts, very friendly and helpful, The bed and breakfast accommodation is fantastic, very spacious and like a separate annexe as it has a private living room and patio area, all the rooms are a very good size and very homely, comfortable and clean, with views over the lovely garden. Netflix, a large selection of videos and a fridge were a great bonus. The breakfasts are delicious, made with good quality produce, The Gluten free breakfast was excellent as I was able to have GF cereals and a GF Cornish full breakfast, it was great to be able to have the same breakfast as my husband and they kept us full all day. It is at the end of the high street, just far enough away from the main tourists, but within a few minutes walk for the wide variety of gifts shops, pasty shops, visitor centre, pubs and restaurants, etc. Highly recommended. Thank you Mark and Karen.

Pros: Very nice accommodation. You almost have your own apartment for yourself. Extremely friendly hosts. The location in Tintagel is great. Within walking distance lies the castle and several restaurants. In the morning you get a breakfast cooked to order.
Cons: Unfortunately, the mattress was already very well, so you can sleep very uncomfortable for two.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely accommodation, spotlessly clean. It’s actually a little cottage with a lounge downstairs, tea and coffee making facilities, and a fridge to keep your milk in. Upstairs is a lovely bedroom and shower room with walk in shower. You have a private patio outside and the friendly and helpful owners serve you a really good breakfast out there if you want. Idyllic location in the village yet with super amenities directly on hand. Couldn’t be better.
Cons: Nothing.

Wellington Hotel - Boscastle - Building

9.1 Excellent (626 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Wellington Hotel in Boscastle, you'll be by the sea, within a 10-minute drive of Tintagel Castle and Boscatle Visitors Centre. Featured amenities include express check-out, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The Wellington Hotel is a really interesting building, with twists and turns and surprises everywhere. Our room, which was at the top of the older part of the hotel, was quirky and cosy. The floor was on a slant and so was the door, which gave the room a lot of character. There were windows looking in several directions and the whole feel of the room was delightfully idiosyncratic. The location in the center of Boscastle couldn't be more convenient and there is plenty of parking. Breakfast was very good. The night we stayed was the evening of the monthly charity quiz in the pub below, which was a lot of fun and included an excellent curry-and-a-pint deal. There was also a very useful information pack in the room which led to us climbing the (obviously little-used) path to The Artist's Seat, giving a great view over the harbor. That was a bit of an adventure, especially coming back down.
Cons: It wasn't a problem for us but it should be noted that some of the stairs are very steep and there are a number of low beams. The higher rooms might not be suitable for anyone with restricted mobilty. The shower wasn't up to much but it did the job, just about.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!! From arrival to departure it was simply put, the best get away we have ever had. Fantastic location, a short drive to some wonderful parts of Cornwall. Tintagel a few minutes in one direction and Boscastle a few in the other. And central to explore the wonders of Cornwall. The accommodation was first class, 5 star all the way. Sandy and Pete were the best hosts you could ever want, you were made to feel most welcome in their home. Fantastic food, lots of local produce, home cooked bread, served with a smile. The best breakfast ever! A truly wonderful feast, setting you up for the day ahead. Lots of choices, to suit every diet. Nothing was too much trouble, both Sandy and Pete, went out of their ways to make your stay as relaxing and rewarding as you wanted. You occasionally come across places to stay where the hosts go the extra mile, Sandy and Pete would happily run a marathon if it made your stay a happy one.
Cons: Coming away on our final day, we could have stopped there forever, neither myself or my partner wanted to leave. Having travelled extensively around the UK, this is the first place I have stopped where sadness descended upon checkout. On the plus side, we will return to enjoy another fantastic stay, again and again.

Cons: Nothing to dislike!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts were lovely, we were able to choose from a list the evening before with plenty of different choices. The location of the property was ideal for us as we were able to catch up with friends in the locality as well as visit lots of tourist sites. Lovely cellar in which to watch big screen tv, DVDs, listen to CDs, play games etc.
Cons: A few toiletries in the bathroom (shower gel/shampoo) would be lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The hosts were fantastic and took care of me from the time I arrived until the time I sadly had to depart. Breakfast was great, good sized portions and tasted great. My room was also fantastic plenty of space with nice opening roof lights and of course spotlessly clean. The hosts were sure to check I had everything I needed at every part of my stay. I will certainly be looking to return again on my next Cornish adventure.
Cons: This question is absolutely not applicable in the case of this property.
