the wonderful setting - the historical building with its romantic rooms - the special ambiance of the house - the fantastic terrace - ... the breakfast room was very dark -> lights would honor the breakfast buffet
Beautiful setting - well furnished - clean and friendly Breakfast was very good but evening meal was limited in choice and not such a high standard as the next finca we visited
Friendly, attentive and efficient staff. Beautiful and spacious pool area. Attractive setting on its own estate. Excellent food. Very good breakfast buffet. A million miles from 'package holiday hell' Majorca nothing
The weather - better than usual for feb. Everything else was as you would expect from such a nice hotel. The poor layout of thr car park when full meant wasted space.
Downgraded to a room without views in the pool house which stank of chlorine so we had to leave
We had a very good meal in the restaurant There were too many steps to our room which was outside the main hotel building. Also steps down into the bedroom where the beds were very uncomfortable. The shower did not work and after a while the taps to the bath stopped running. Noises through the night from other guests and people shooting from 6am in the mountains the next morning. We checked out after spending only one night and were relieved to go.
The location is superb and the rural environment (grass fields, meadows, gardens, pastures, trees, paths) is thoroughly cared, transmitting a resting and quite mood atmosphere to the guests. The rooms are decorated in a very pleasant classic wooden furniture style. The beds are comfortable. The rustic style is very appealing. The Hotel facilities are good and in good working condition. The neighbor Hotel Monnaber Vel (belonging to the same organization) is outstanding. Acoustic isolation between neighbor apartments needs improvement. Single air conditioning units for each apartment is a noisy solution for the apartment itself and for neighbor apartments as well. Outside intercooler unit in the apartment's yard looks bad in such rustic and idilic environment.
ambience and tranquility there was not enough selection for dinners
The setting, feeling home from home, very relaxing and welcoming. Staff lovely! A most beautiful place to be. Thank you to all. Only on the last day a large party booked in for lunch and the children were allowed to use the pool so very noisy. They were not residents and I felt that the facilities shouldn't be available to non residents. It impinged greatly on the privicy which we had enjoyed all week.
the welcome, the standard of rooms etc, the surroundings, the pool and dining areas the evening meal was poor. The soup was only luke warm. Furthermore we ordered to chicken courses but unfortunately this order was given to another couple. We realised eventually (the watress spoke no English) that because the meals were cooked to an order placed earlier that day that my husband's meal (chicken) would not arrive without a lot of scurrying about in the kitchen. so my husband accepted the fish dish, But it was cold on arirval. He asked for it to be reheated but the dish was still cold when it was re-presented. We received no acknowledgement from the management about this error and on this occasion the customer service was poor.
Our holiday was great because eveything was good - the weather, location, facilities, food and pool. The staff were very freindly and helpful.
small with good facilities nothing
The amazing attitude of the staff and the wonderful location.
Peaceful and lovely air.Friendly staff.Great junior suite. Nice breakfast and the one evening meal we had.Try to be their for excellent Manage's tour.
Comfort, luxury, staff and location
Beautiful quiet setting - the place had a lot of character and very friendly staff No
the style of the hotel in front of the window was a rubbish-heap occupying the nice view
The whole experience was wonderful. It was everything we expected and more
Nice location, very tasteful design of hotel (all areas - rooms, restaurants, pool, ...), helpful staff, very personal atmosphere
What a fantastic place. Staff, accommodation and food were 1st class. A great start to our holiday. Thank You.
situation. friendliness of staff. No help available with lugage when we checked out.
Totally free - staff were actually not present for 22 hours per day, plus the excellent swimming pool (even in October) None
A bit different from other seaside hotels on the island (in a good way), a bit isolated in terms of transport but also means that it's much less touristy plus the beach is only 25-min drive away. Great service and the food is fantastic. Highly recommended.
The peace and location of the hotel and helpfulness of the staff No
General cleanliness Coffee making facilities in room wouldbe helpful. Also areasonably priced evening snack availability.Wehad one dinner in restaurant which appears to have costover 100euros this is extremely expensive.
Tv did not work
Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. The room was very nice and we had a great time. The restaurant menu looked similar to a Michelin star restaurant...although the prices were apparently set up in accordance to that expectation... The only negative is the location: this hotel would fit very well in the Mallorquin countryside and that is why it was lovely. However, Cala Rajada (the town) is an extremely touristy place (apparently loved by Germans since it was packed with them) and you won't find much authenticity there...only recommended if you fancy packed beaches and tacky restaurants...
beautiful views and very quiet location.very good buffet breakfast
Can Riera is a part of Can Calco (reception and restaurant excl. breakfast in Can Calco premesis som 30 meters from Can Riera. Excellent and romantic hotell with very calm and relaxed atmosphere. Good breakfast but the dinner (one alternative offered per day - this day it was a selection of tapas) was a bit over priced (wine was good). No
the buffet breakfast remote and lack of alternative eating establishments in the village
