Comfortable bed. Very hard to find hotel. I don't speak Italian, so could not make myself understood to the receptionist who spoke no English at all.
Very accomodating staff and excellent ambience Restaurant very good quality and choice Rooms excellent size and quality
This hotel offers vaule for the money. The servicees and staff are very kind and courteous. The room was very comfortable and the parking is free. They serve a wonderful and plentiful breakfast and it was clean We booked this hotel at the last moment as we were staying in Parma for one day to see thee city sites. There is a shuttle that the hotel offers and at this time is was 25 euros for 4 people to get to Parma center. It really is quite a drive to the center, about 30 minutes; however, we did have a vehicle, drove to the center of town, and were able to find municipal parking, which was a bargain for parking in the city for the day. This being said, the hotel was a wonderful find for last minute booking but about 8 miles to the center, or a 30 minute to the center wit moderate traffic.
Comfortable room, very clean. Staff "client minded" Shower set quite basic.
Breackfast is not a 4 star breackfast, but it has been equo to the cost of the room
Just a stroll through the park to the city centre and a short walk from the train station. Our room was very quiet with a choice of good pillows, and the staff could not have been more helpful. At the rate we paid it was outstanding value Room was a bit warm and maybe the decor needed refreshing - but these were very minor issues.
What didn't we like? It was a wonderful experience. The room was beautiful, comfortable, big, and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable with great linens. The staff was helpful and gave us a great recommendation for dinner! I would stay here again.
Staff helpful, rooms big & well appointed. A very noisy party was held in the lobby of the hotel on the second night! The music was so loud there was no way anyone could sleep - when travelling in the lifts they physically shook with the noise! Totally unacceptable for a hotel - we only paid 50% for the second night after a conversation with the hotel director. This was discount was quickly, but not graciously given!
Location The breakfast, wide choice very poor quality. Also not fond of the noise the ventilators outside my room made.
The size of the room, particularly the bed. Also the young man at Reception was very friendly and helpful The breakfast was excellent.
Charge for parking was high & entry to the hotel from the carpark the first time was difficult.
Proximity to Centre and their breakfast Lifts took ages to use. No stairs.
Excellent sized room - very comfortable. Only a 15-20 minute walk to centre of town.
good location and close to the city center and train station.Good price value.Nice bathrooms, personel and breakfast.Would definitely return. nothing
THe Staff the location and the size of the rooms
The main reason we chose this hotel was because it is situated close to the trainstation. It is a good stay for a night.
very easy location from train station and into the city, large quiet rooms and great breakfast
Clean, quiet hotel in an excellent and convenient location. Breakfast could have been better.
breakfast extremely dirty bathroom (hair lipstick etc...) when complained, it took them till very late at night to send someone to clean! not an apology, nothing from management!!!!
Hotel is good and in a central location. Staff were friendly and all spoke reasonable english. I"ve stayed here before and is always a good place to stay.
Very clean, great bathroom. Rooms in front of the railway station are very noisy
the helpful staff anmd comfortable rooms within walking distnce of teh town
Clean, tidy and quiet room with good lighting and control of air conditioning, and a good choice of breakfast. Handy location for the station or centre of Parma
Location was perfect as we arrived by train. Reception staff were extremely helpful, making sure that we had a map of the area and detailing various places of interest. I can't find fault with the hotel at all - we came to watch rugby and I would certainly recommend it to other supporters who might need to travel to Parma.
Nice, clean, close to the bus stop for work (I was working at the University), close to the shops, the room was nice and dark, so good for sleeping. Most the staff were helpful, unfortunately the first one I met wasn't all that helpful.
Hotel was in a convenient location, room and bathroom were both decent sized unlike other Italian hotels.
Very convenient location. Nice breakfast Parking too small when the hotel is fully booked.
The hotel is easily accessible by car, but as the hotel is really well situated, you don't need your car anymore to visit the city.
Nice location in the center of Parma, pleasant view to the river banks, very good breakfast, polite staff, very clean room, excellent value for money.
For an Italian hotel, the rooms are a good size and the bathrooms are large. Breakfast, included in the price, is adequate. This hotel is functional, good location, and without charm. If you want style along with your comfort, it's not for you.
Great location with walking distance to town. Breakfast was really good.Staff Polite and very helpful.
Parking on property is a little dicey sometimes, but the staff will help you find someplace.
Good personal, good breakfast and location on the heart of the Parma +++ Festival Verdi Noise and petrol smell of the central road the are the hotel is located
The bathroom was comfortable and well equiped Coffee machine in the room
It is walking distance to Centro and only a few blocks away from the Railway station. It is not clear that this is an all non-smoking hotel which doesn't worry me but my companion wasn't thrilled. The breakfast was meagre and they advertise gluten free products - rice/corn melba toast was the only thing I could find that was gluten free. It is shown as 4 star but I question that fourth star.
The efficient use of space of the room was eye-opening. The morning buffet was excellent. A tad bit expensive, but then again, we were in the middle of the downtown.
excellent concierge. found a splendid baby sitter with only few hours notice. first rate suggestions for restaurants and local knowledge. slow elevator but that's a minor issue.
Very clean and comfortable. Wi-fi did not really work. The reception also provided a cable but it was difficult to establish a connection.
Very central, clean and comfortable, also close to the railway station
very nice!! the hotel, roons, breakfast..everything was nice
We were looking for a hotel in Parma for one night before an agri-gourmet tour. We normally wouldn't have chosen a modern hotel but the Savoy Hotel was the perfect choice. Its interior is new, modern (with character) and very clean. It was a pleasant 5 minute walk to Piazza Garibaldi and the sights. Highly recommended unless you are looking for an historic hotel for your stay in Parma. Great things....free internet, everything in the refrigerator was free and a very good breakfast was included.
Totally refurbished in a cool, modern and clean style. The site gives you the impression that you can have a parking space - you only get a windscreen sticker which allows you to park in an adjacent street, if you can find a space...
Very clean and comfortable room. Somewhat small, but Interior was new and simple-fashionable, all functionality incl. Ac worked excellent.
the hotel has just been renovated in a sleek minimalist way and has a relaxed atmosphere. value for money, it rates better than other hotels in the centre.
The hotel is lovely, as are the grounds. The room is pretty the staff was nice. Breakfast was fair. We did not eat any other meals at the hotel. The young man who was the bellman and Jack of all trades was great. When two lights were out in our room, he immediately went to get new bulbs. This hotel is isolated. Feels almost like a prison or school from the outside. The neighborhood is not conducive for vacationing. You have to take a cab everywhere. You do not feel you can walk in the neighborhood.
Beautiful, luxury, details, new, very professional staff, stylish and fine. All, the design, the high quality of the details, super bathrooms, fantastic infrastructure. All, congratulations
This hotel was very clean!!!And Staff is very friendly. Bathroom's shower is not good.
Asked to give electronic signatures to a series of declarations that were difficult to read and understand was uncomfortable and I think unneccessary.
staff very friendly , special mention to Marco the barman , who was made us very welcome and helped book us a restaurant on the sun night. none
This is not 4 questions
Recently remodeled, it was one of the nicer hotels we've stayed at in Europe. Location is within easy walking of the old town and train station, but it is in the more industrial section of town. We took the bus with our luggage, since the bus stops directly in front of the hotel. Our only complaint is that the lobby has mosquitoes, a ton of them!
good facilities the restaurant at 9.00 p.m. was closed and we asked for something to eat which it was provided/cold plate of ham and a beer was a real rip off
Service at Bar was good. No bus tub. Not good for long stay.
Enjoyed balcony in room and its view. Discovered that TV remote control had been damaged by previous guest, but it was quickly replaced by hotel staff when I turned it in. Location was somewhat isolated, and hard to find when walking from train station (no signs until already heading in right direction).
Great hotel, comfortable, excellent facilities and very friendly and helpful staff.
Romm smallish but adequate, quiet, big screen tv, great buffet breakfast, kind personnel
friendly and comfortable, good location would like coffee making facilities in room
well furnished rooms with a decent shower. friendly helpful staff who gave good restaurant recommendations. they made a good cup of tea:))
room was excellent
Location is excellent and fit description on site. Breakfast was good as well.
Friendly staff, good location, good breakfast
Location No boxes of kleenex, only little packages
good areas for meeting colleagues and convenient location used shampoo bottle in shower and empty water bottle in room, so some improvement required.
The overall stay was superb. The hotel is in an excellent location, making for an easy short walk to the historic center, across the river, and the train station. All staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed the breakfast - plenty of fresh fruit, yogurts, brioche and pastries among other things. Free wi-fi is a definite plus.
Great breakfast, good free wifi, close to down town by foot. Parking was expensive
The location was great, right on the edge of a lovely park and within walking distance of the sites in the city center.
That internet was available in our room on the tv for a small cost and having a gym available.
The staff were very polite & friendly, especially in the dining room. We've stayed there a number of times because of it's great location next to a wonderful park in Reggio Emilia.
The position of the hotel is very good. The area is lovely and full of restaurant and places to see. The classic rooms are very poor 2 star, but the superior rooms are of a 4 star standard.
The staff was very helpful and friendly Bathrooms are outdated - rooms are completely renovated and very pleasant, but they forgot about the bathrooms.......
this time I've got a good price for the room; but normally prices are higher; good position and access
Very good location, in a green park, some minutes from the downtown. Nice, clean room. The bathroom should been renovated a bit.
Good quality hotel near to town centre Nothing
nothing I stayed there for over 2 weeks and never once got a smile from any staff. Food was too expensive also. Air con kept breaking down. If I wanted to use the gym I had to keep phoning reception to come and open it which would take them ages.
The reception staff made me and my wife(african) feel unwanted
Kind staff. The hotel has it's own bicicles which can be used free of charge for hotel guests. Only toast-bread at breakfast.
THE POSITION ,STAFF AND HOTEL WERE ALL VERY GOOD
most things no,but would like to know why booking . com have said that the hotel is not available anymore on their website
The room was a good size Teh internet hook up was not strong enough to get on my company mail server. i believe the bandwidth is too small
Good location, outside of, but near to, the historic centre. Quiet, yet with a modern arcade nearby.
Hotel was clean We were expecting a more luxurious hotel as it was was advertised as 5 star hotel.. But it felt as 4 stars at best, as an example internet did not work in the room.. And no solution was found.
It has a good location.
It is situated close to the city center. The design and the interior decoration was very modern and clean. The receptionists are not well-informed about the events in the city, such as the programme of the theater, where to go and what to see. Not many leaflets are available at the hotel neither.
Convenient location. Modern and clean. I specifically chose this hotel becuase of hte turkish bath and sauna so was disappointed to learn that on the Saturday night it was booked out for hte local football team and the guests could not use it. Apparently it's booked out every second weekend during season but it's a shame they don't advise that when you book it.
Nice smelling soap (no, really). Helpfull staff. To our surprise there were no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, and no bath (not unusual to be offered in five star hotels).
Original interiors. Good breakfast. Polite staff. Clean rooms.
The hotel was very cheap, although it offered free parking (it was not far from the city center), free internet access and a good breakfast. Easy access for those traveling by car. The rooms smelled a little like mould, the staff is not very friendly and the heating system was poor.
The breakfast buffet was terrific. The location was really good for getting to the cheese tour. A nice big parking lot.
Courtesy and helpfullness of the hotel staff in providing directions and recommendations to us.
The restaurant It;s a building site at present
It was a good quiet place to stay, we were in the 'old house' and it was not busy They are extending this hotel, and it was further outside of Parma than I anticipated although if you had a car this meant you could park easily.
no problem to bring a dog, easy to find when you're coming from the highway quite a little to eat on the plates in the restaurant for too much money
The staff was professional and helpful. I was surprised by the quality and quantity of the breakfast provided and thoroughly enjoyed my short stay. No.
The best breakfast with real parma ham The hotel is to long way to walk to the city center
For whom traveling with car, this hotel is proper choice due to free and convenient parking place, quiet rooms with good prices. It was far from city center and I never recommend who has not car to stay in this hotel. To go to city center, you do not have option expect calling a taxi.
restaurant,nice food no
convenient for train station. Quiet location. Room too small
Clean, modern, efficient, excellent secure car park. No
The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was pleasant, courteous and efficient.
The staff were extremely helpful. Edison was extra attentive and helped me with every question. Restaurant was advertised as open, but was closed the entire time I was at the hotel.
Good location, secured parking and good service.Hotel is 5 minute walk to the centre. Room decoration
The Hotel Staff was extremely courteous.. Really friendly and cooperative.., though the room size was really small, but being a business traveler it didn't mattered much.. The WiFi Internet was extremely poor..
exellent 1 spider in the room......I don't care, just to let you know.
Although situated next to the airport, we experienced no disturbance as a result of the proximity. The breakfast choice was good, and the room service excellent. The insensitivity of some guests meant that that we were disturbed by doors that were slammed shut rather than closed considerately.
The silence in the room, in a quite area; and the bed were really comfortable. I was completely disappointed with the breakfast. Parma it´s known by the tipically food, amazing cheese, and artesanal ingredients, and in the morning we just could find pre-cooked bread, hot milk that was always cold, horrible croissants, and canned fruit. It just have the only basis, even the interior of the room , at a first look it was modern, but closer, you could see the bad construction details of the wall and the floor.
clean rooms, friendly staff and silent place
staff, cleanliness & breakfast Great old building with a contemporary flair. a bit confusing to find, better signs are what I would recommend
It is a beautiful hotel. Outside of Reggio Emilia, but close to the airport in silence. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast very good and a wide range of food.
Everthing! This is the best hotel we have stayed at in italy! The ammenaties are top of the line, very contemporary, very beautiful, very modern, the desciption online did not do it justice! Only to be give a map when printing the booking, but the locals were very friendly and helpful in directions!
Good staff Very unconfortable bathroom. No ventilation at all.
quiteness, location and design poor breakfast
the position next to autostrada ,the value for money for this hotel and that it is very new renovated
Nice rooms, excellent resturant I had to make two trips to reception with my luggage because the room pass/card did not work.
Quick check in and check out, everything very convenient and efficient. Room was vey good. Nothing.
Prostitutes on the parking at night....not very nice
The very young guy at the reception. He was polite and helpful. When we booked we wern't told the bar and restraunt would be closed. We booked the sauna but nothing was done about it
Good to stay with you just want to sleep while you are travelling to other place.
Clean rooms and reasonable prices! Excellent breakfast. Poor evening meal menu. Awful directions to the hotel.
the location, easy too find, the pool, the room and bathroom were of nice size the hotel in general needed maintainance, seems like it was functioning with minimum personnel and some places were not clean or maintainned
Great hotel and perfect if you need a stop over close to the motorway
Staff was wonderful and facilities were great especially for the price. Only issue was it is not conveniently located at all and requires you take a taxi to and from the hotel. Maybe a shuttle service or public transportation in the area would be really helpful.
The location was great because we had a car and were travelling from a city to another each day, then back to the hotel in the evening. The pool area was very quite when we were there and it was really nice with the jacuzzi outdoor. The only thing which we did not like was that the internet service was not free but we knew before and not much space were to hang clothes in the closet.
People were very nice. We enjoyed the pool.
Valued the history of the hotel and the way it is presented to maintain the past while providing all that is needed by a discerning traveller today.
great place !
I have stayed in lots of hotels in Europe and the Hotel Posta has been the cleanest. It was a great location and very welcoming. That the bar was not open on a weekend and it was the least comfy room, maybe could be updated???
Staff was very helpful. Excecllent location. Pretty hotel. Nice buffet breakfast. We stayed in Room 236 and water pressure was poor and had a problem with lack of hot water for showers.
the location and the room was very pleasant -good value for money the towels
Perfect central location. Very helpful staff
It is a simple enough hotel but in the middle of Parma. Hotel staff is very friendly.
A good hotel in an excelent location. The room was not prepered properly for guests (no glasses and no blanket)
Its location is ideal to explore Parma's city center, plus it is only a 10-15 minute walk from the train station.
the position of the hotel, although the claim that it was 500 mts from the train station was inaccurate by at least another 500 mts. we had a problem with having no hot water which although resolved eventually this took up valuable time since we only had a 1 night stay
Located within walking distance to central Nice
Because the doble room we were given was too small, the next morning we were moved to a much larger and comfortable room.
Pleasant staff and no problem about arriving very late. It was quiet and also conveniently close to the centre of the town. Noisy street outside. Plastic sachets of soap and shampoo.
The hotel was in an ideal location, central to all sightseeing and theatre. The staff are friendly and helpful. Free WI-FI and a good continental breakfast selection. Nothing at all.
staff was extrimly accomodating and helpful. breackfast was very nice comperade to other 3 stars hotels
It was easy to reach In general for being a three star hotel was OK. The evaluation from the guest is too high.
Connecting rooms great for families. We used the hotel as a stop-over traveling up through Italy and it was just fine for this.
Susan was terrific and so was the breakfast. We all liked the ambiance and design of the Hotel.
It is a well located and easily accessible. The bathroom has only tub with spa jets. I pesronally prefer quicker and more convenient shower boot.
Very helpful staff. Excellent dining on site.
Price Far from the city
Excellent value. Large and comfortable rooms and friendly staff.
The hotel was very clean and tastefully built. The interiors of the rooms were of good design and colours. The hotel had good engineering done in order to save power and at the same time provide comfort. Good breakfast. The room did not have an electric water kettle and therefore no arrangement for making tea or coffee, which, according to me is a basic requirement now a days.
Very comfortable room, large bathroom, good food in restaurant, excellent breakfast buffet, plenty of parking space. Town of Regio Emilia is well worth a visit. Hotel is not within walking distance of town, but this does mean that parking is no problem.
access from motorway The hotel was full and I got a smoking room, which stank
During our visit end of April it was very hot and the airconditioning in the room could not be switched on according to the staff. A/c in public areas worked. Lunch facilities are minimal. A translation of the minimal menu into other languages would be appreciated, as the waiter knew no other language.
free internet connection was good tea/coffe facilities in room would have been useful cooked breakfast poor and cold but rest of buffet ok
Hotel is near to the exhibition centre in Riggio Emilla only €8.00 in a taxi which come in five minutes
Free internet connection
