Pros: The breakfast was Outstanding! Our hostess had hand made practically all the produce on the breakfast table and the raspberry butter was so delicious! The host kept ourCups topped up with incredible Swedish produced coffee. Easily the best coffee we tasted during our week in France. The welcome we received on arrival was second to none and we were borh sorry we only had one night in the guest house.
Pros: Mama mia. What a wonderful stay with our swedish guests. Nice place, confortable room. An amazing breakfast witn a lot of pieces... Like for Ikea furniture... Much much easier to enjoy ! Thanks to the cooker and the DJ. S
Pros: I loved everything about my stay ! I was welcomed by Anders and immediately felt like at home. The room was nice and comfy, I slept well. The best part was the breakfast, I was the only guest that night and I felt really special, everything was homemade with love by Anna and incredibly good (I was lucky to be packed some for launch !!). Anders is also a vinyls DJ, he showed me his collection and put a little bit of music before I went to my meeting, perfect way to wake up with a smile ! :)
Cons: Nothing !!
Pros: The people are what make this place special. Anders and Anna are wonderful, and very enthusiastic about what they are doing with their chambre d’hote and about their region. They greeted us warmly, fixed a wonderful dinner for us, gave us advice on things to see (but the road to the lake was closed, Anders! We never got there!) In the morning, Anders gave us a tour and we enjoyed learning about his other job...a surprise! Breakfast was almost too much to choose from, mostly made by Anna, and all delicious.
Cons: There are stairs both to get in the main entry and then up to the room...if we were any older we’d not have been able to do it, but we were OK at age 69! Stairs are unavoidable in French “old stones.”
Pros: The breakfast was superb with many home made jams, marmalade and bread. The Swedish coffee was excellent.
Pros: Warm and very friendly hosts. Beautiful house. The breakfast is amazing.
Pros: It was quirky bit out of the way
Cons: Location, entrance to the property, steps up to the property
Pros: Fabulous property , we loved everything from the moment we arrived - warm welcome from the owners , super clean room, high quality toiletries . Fabulous organic breakfast served in the garden room- many home made offerings including Swedish pancakes and breads, jams and more. Smoked salmon and Swedish cheeses, fruits and yogurt- so much variety . Amazing international ambience , we loved it . The owners go over and above what one might expect . Also the location is excellent , it is easily accessible .
Cons: Nothing- best ever .
Pros: The check-in was so outrageously brilliant, got shown around and host played some party music and we ended up dancing - this was in the first 20 minutes of arriving. Would stay again.
Cons: Got explained things in too much detail but hosts were very friendly,
Pros: Friendly hospitable gregarious hosts. Magnificent breakfast with variety of homemade condiments and fare. It is a house with history. A great restaurant is nearby.
Cons: The bed
