The place is wonderful, it new, comfortable and relaxing, with charming view to the Umbian hills (it beats Tuscany!) and a lovely old town 300 mts. from the door. Ideal for those who travels by car.
Wonderful staff, wonderful restaurant, great location (maybe not very popular but Montone is beautiful) and great value for money.
rooms, the beds, breakfast & staff is ok. If you go for relaxing & quite & peacefullness we would not recommend this hotel. Noise! During the day loud noise of construction work and in the weekend loud music party's next to your room. This is probably a good hotel for groups?!
Highly recommended, hotel and surroundings are beautiful
Very nice hotel, newly furnished, great shower, nice views and great swimming pool. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Service at the hotel was exceptional. Our room was very small with an extra bed in it which we did not book, but I think they were not bothered to remove it.
Helpful and friendly reception. We were disappointed to find that the restaurant was not on the same site as our room. Your website was misleading on this point.
good atmosphere and charm, excellent restaurant
Very suitable for our purposes as we were following the Piero della Francesca artist trail. Very close to a main road, many commercial vehicles passing by especially early in the morning.
Good country hotel, with nice swimming pool. Very friendly staff. Good restaurant, but unfortenately about 800m away and difficult to walk to.
We got lost (our fault) and were running very late for check in (2300hrs) but a quick phone call put our minds at rest. The check in lady would stay until we arrived.
Its friendliness and cleanliness
Friendly staff, great food and good location.
Typical Umbrian country building, very large room, quite place, good restaurant close to hotel.
Friendly staff, lovely surroundings, cosy decor Restaurant facilities for evening meals not at the hotel
From the moment we arrived Sarah and Alessandro did everything to make our stay a wonderful one. From the very comfortable room, to the tourism literature and recommendations, from the fantastic food (if you are there on a weekend, take Sarah's pasta cooking class - great!) to the welcome into their daily life. This was everything we were looking for. If you want to just chill it is easy to do that also with hammocks, nooks in the sun and a pool. Fantastic place to base a trip through Tuscany or te even more spectacular Umbria. Very affordable was a nice bonus.
Spectacular and quiet place, very friendly staff, delicious dinner.
Landscape, and owners are wonderfull. The house and breakfast are delicious! The bed was old, and if you move a finger will mwke noise....Was funny but imagine....
The familiar atmosphere is great, it feels kind of that you are staying with good friends. The place is very unpretentious, but offers exactly the facilities to feel at home. Furthermore the view is great, it is easy to reach and it is definitely very good value for money.
We liked everything about this hotel so very much that we felt really sad upon departure. Perfect location, delicious food. Sara and Alessandro are incredibly friendly owners and their staff are gracious. Clean and unpretentious rooms, calmness and crisp nature all around. As for the Tigro family of cats and Pedro the dog, they are a dream and they like italian cheese as much as we do!
Beautiful view. Friendly and helpful hostess. Delicious and convenient to have dinner cooked for you at Il Sarale. Good base for exploring other areas. Staying at an agrituristica was a pleasant balance to other hotel accomodation.
Sara the owner is a lovely hostess making us feel right at home on her working farm. Faboulous food dreamed up every night right down stairs from our room. Good wine, adequate breakfast. Sara even offers relaxed, fun cooking classes! Learning to make fresh authentic pastas and sauces was the highlight of my stay second only the the enchanting views. Give the shower water a chance to heat up before you get in
