Nicely located in the center of Pontresina. Good Breakfast Buffet. Excellent Restaurant. Use of the big indoor/outdoor swimming pool of Pontresina was included. Ideal to relax after a day of hiking in the mountains. Has a garage.
To expensive in relation to the room
Great staff, close to everything
very nice position of the hotel, in Pontresina. Extremely nice staff.
Hotel Schweizerhof Pontresina was excellent. The staff were very very good and very professional. Everything in the hotel met our expectations , cleanliness, serice and food.. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would enjoy another visit.
Cosy, beautiful view, nice rooms Toilet
Staff was very friendly! Excellent diner in the restaurant.
The staff is efficient, friendly, and helpful. The dining is excellent. The room was large and clean, and my top floor room had a great view of the Alps. The hotel facilities Re nice including a large check-in area, comfortable lobby, and friendly bar. The overall feeling of the hotel is warm and inviting. My sons and I have come here twice to ski at St. Moritz, and will come again. I love the staff and hotel. +41818393434
Nice and practical location, you can leave the car and go walking or by cableways, buses, trains, everywhere, Simple yet confortable and complete hotel lorganization, Beautiful view of mountains and village. Furniture is 60's 70's style and old, but not worn out.. Optimistically it could become a kind of vintage.. The smell in the garage is not.. "reassuring".
Very helpful and attentive staff. Bathrooms are in the 50s style (very old fashioned).
location, breakfast, great contemporary paintings in all the hotel. Extremely nice staff
The staff was very very nice.
This is one of the best experiences one can have in a hotel!! The staff welcomes with handshake, the atmosphere is superb, the staff is helpfull and explaines about the integrated art works in the hotel! There is all one can dream: phantastic outdoor sauna, meditation pavillion and evening bar designed by well-known artist ... breakfast is superb, rooms are great, dinner has great quality!!
Fine service, exceptional breakfast in a beautiful room No complaints at all
We like this hotel very much. It was newly renovated...guess we're on their 2nd day of biz. We got a pleasant surprise, as we're here for honeymoon. The staffs prepare us a complimentary champange & pastries, to welcome us. We got a big jacuzzi in our room, where we can enjoy our time in our room, despite e cold winter. Plus, there was a free entry to the famous nearby Mineral Spa. The breafast was spendid, in a ballroom style. [One of the receptionist was rather pretty, helpful & gentle. Kind of miss her, though. :) Her name is Daniella.] Price wise - It's abit on the high side, though. We paid abt $132 euro, but guess... that's winter peak seasons price, at St Moritz region.
Nice, comfortable hotel, very helpfull staff, modern clean rooms.
The size of the room; the quietness; the new fittings; the attentive staff.
Excellent service. Room very comfortable and clean. Lovely breakfast... Very friendly and helpful staff. :-)
Staffs are kind. Breakfast is very nice. Jacuzzi is great! Very cosy and charming place.
The breakfast room and the breakfast itself Noise isolation of the room was very bad. We can hear the neighbor talking. In addition, we had one of the smallest room in the hotel I suppose. It is not a proper real room, it is a connecting room. Specifically ask for not getting one of those... And just 6-7 parking spaces for a hotel of 38 rooms...
1.The newly renovated room 2.The cleanliness of the room and especially of the bathroom 3.The comfortable bathroom with jacuzzi 4.The breakfast with extended variety 5. The friendly and ready to service staff 6.The view The only problem is the sound from the nearby rooms.
Great people, beautiful hotel!
Big and very nice rooms with splendid view of the alps
The staff were very helpful. Very affordable accomodation. Heated flooring in hotel room : ) Showing it's age ... but very clean
gutes Preis-, Leistungsverhaeltnis, freundliches/hilfsbereites Personal -
Very pleasant stuff, cleanliness of hotel. I think that hotels should have free parking for guests.
Very nice room, large size & pretty location. We were not told about the swimming pool, spa services & availability of these things for guests until the day we left. Could have used them since we had cold, rainy weather during our stay.
The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was large and comfortable. We ate one evening at the Grill and found the food disappointing. Some seemed to be pre-packeged and pre-cooked. The waiter was very nice but quite inexperienced. Still, the price was reasonable.
The room was very nice and comfortable.
very good part buffet dinner and breakfast, staff pleasant and friendly, very good service pillows lumpy, duvet polyester
From the moment that we arrived we received excellent service. I had barely removed the keys from my rental car and the concierge was organising our baggage and parking our vehicle. Our room was huge and had beautiful views of the mountains and glaciers. The Hotel itself is steeped in history and the formalities -such as a dinner jacket in the restaurant - were worth the extra effort and ensured a charming "somewhere in time" ambience. We travelled through Europe for two months and the Hotel Kronenhof will definately be remembered as one of the highlights of our trip.
Large rooms, excellent spa. The children below 14 are not allowed to use the spa even with parental supervision.
Everything was perfect Deposite for ski equipment
Good location, friendly hotel staff, clean rooms and good service. Several of the staff went out of their way to help us. Not a negative as the hotel has a lot to offer but It was not always clear what services or activities were available and how we could use them(e.g. kid care, nanny services, kids meals). Not specific to the hotel but if I had to do over again I would not have used the local ski school in Pontresina for the kids as suggested by the hotel, rather would have gone straight to one of the ski resorts.
Fabulous hotel with fantasic views.
Outstanding personal service and the best concierge service (more than one) ever. Other staff all greet you, often by name. Breakfast buffet up with the best with a fine range of local cheese and bread. Large room with wonderful view to glacier and a great spa. Compared to the rest of the hotel, our room furnishing was.. uninspired.. ; hotel has no air conditioning which in August made for warm nights. And all this is expensive of course.
The Pool and Spa!! Breakfast. Proximity to ski school, ski rental equipment and slopes.
Fantastic SPA!!!!! Very luxury restaurant and bar!!!!! I'm looking for going back as soon as possible!!!!! Outstanding!!!!!!!
The hotel is ideally located for skiing breakfast buffet was too busy
the friendly attitude towards us.
The studio was arranged over two levels with a mezzanine, very clever design!
First kitchenette we've had that had dishwashing liquid and dishcloth! Everything was beautifully clean and comfortable.
Near Train station interlakekn west Noisy closed to main road bed is not comfort
The split-level room was perfect for our family of four. The kitchenette allowed us to cook our own breakfast for a couple of days - a welcome change from expensive hotel breakfasts. The free travel pass with two nights booking was a great deal. Celerina itself is also very nice with a good choice of places to eat and a station on the Bernina line. All up, we loved this place! We found the room a bit over-heated and there didn't seem to be any way to turn the heat down.
very clean, kind staff
Restaurant is nice. Car park space is not enough and always full, and we have to park a bit distant place from the hotel.
Beautiful area, nice and quiet.
We liked everything about the hotel and the staff. Lovely location, pleasent and helpfull staff, clean and confortable hotel.
high quality throughout lack of balcony as previously advertised on web. Amicably settled by hotel manager
Beautiful view, clean rooms, attentive service No room service
The hotel is very clean, staff extemely helpful, dinner was excellent, value for money. The price
The position of the Hotel was very good, near the river! The staff is very nice. A nice experience!!!
The room was comfortable, unique and had a great view.
Very nice hotel in the city of Celerina and easy walk to the train station for transfer to St. Moritz. It is nice that passes to the ski lifts are included for a three night stay.
Everything. So much so that I will make an annual trip. The setting is so lovely and after an evening meal you can talk a stroll in the village which ends a wonderful day in Celerina.
Good atmosphere from the welcome at the desk to the little "pic nic" at departure time, and the hostess's personnal goodbye...we appreciated the fact some forgotten items were posted to us right away without our requesting it ! The big dining room not very cosy for diner...
The hotel was very comfortable and had a very friendly family feel to it. The location was too far from St Moritz which we had not anticipated.
we liked very much the atmosphere , we felt that the team was very attentionate and wanted (and succeeded) to please us . The meals were delicious , the guide was very good ... and so on The room was clear and spatious , but the W.C. in the bathroom is not confortable...
I thought that the staff was knowledgeable, helpful and very accomodating. The rooms were very well furnished and I had a breathtaking view of the Alps from my window. The food in the dining room was tremendous and they had about four different choices of deer to choose from because it was deer season in the valley. The hiking was tremendous and Zuoz is in a perfect place to see the Engiadina.
Facilities in the room, especially the bathroom and shower. Furniture handmade in local style, using recycled timber. Location of the hotel was good, near the station, though about a ten minute walk uphill to the town centre of Pontrsina. Location excellent for walking, horse-drawn coach trips to the Morteratsch Glacier, and for access to the railway.
Friendly and very helpful staff. Beautiful room. Restaurant on premises. Convenient to rail station. NO NOTHING
We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay at the Station Hotel which is very new and modern--an excellent facility with a good restaurant serving delicious pizza and salad. Well equipped bathroom and reasonably sized. Friendly staff. Good base from which to tour St Moritz.Parking is convenient with elevator access direct to your floor. I thought a train was coming through the room when the fan came on in the bathroom. Room was a tiny bit tight for space, nothing serious.
Main reason is close to train station and very helpfull staff (Ms. Mauch, black hair lady), cleanness & comfort, would stay again. Nothing dislike.
We enjoyed the location, our clean, comfortable, beautiful room, the design of the restaurant, the food was great! My daughter loved the bunny and rocking horse. Staff were very pleasant. No
The breakfast included fried eggs that were extremely tasty. The location is superb as it is directly across from the train station. I felt the price of the hotel was a bit steep at $190 CHF
The hotel is ideally situated and comfortable and clean and the food in the bar was excellent with a very good atmosphere. The young girl behind the bar was so friendly and helpful and made our stay even nicer.
Modern clean room. Adequate furniture and equipment(particularly an excellent shower facility). Restaurant could be improved in terms of quality/price.
Very friendly staff. I had to leave the hotel very early morning and a staff (middle aged woman with black hair) kindly prepared a breakfast box for me the last night. Internet connection is perfect in the room.
Directly across from railway station; moderate uphill walk to town center front desk was not continually staffed; no lobby computer for guests' use
Friendly stuff, excellent views, small cosy and relaxing spa
Location, staff, and big public spaces As usual in Europe, rooms are very small
Comfortable clean room. Value for money. Helpful staff
They included a pass to ride the trains, buses, trams and gondolas with the price of the hotel, a great value. Pillows were too small.
Very nice hotel. Parking is limited.
Great and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Allround good stay.
I would recommend to the hotel management to serve some vegetables at breakfast self service "bufe" for people who do not eat sausages and high fat types of cheese
Central position and very quiet room Not enough parking space, it was difficult to find parking place around the hotel, because the parking lot was full.
I enjoyed the beautiful scenery in and about Pontresina.
Room and adjacent bathroom were very nice for a single room
Pleasant, welcoming staff; clean, attractive and comfortable room; own room and public areas smoke-free. Pleasant breakfast room with excellent continental breakfast buffet. Pleasant, quiet village. The free Engadine bus & train pass was very useful, and the hotel is just 1 minute walk from the nearest bus stop, and about 5 minutes from the railway station. The hotel's own restaurant was much more expensive than others around.
The cheap piker owner tried to charge me sfr 4.50 (us$4.50) for tap water during a $60 dinner. I raised hell, and he took it off, but not without "explaining" that "it is not for the water, but for washing the glass" (!!). I have been to Europe at least 50 times in 48 years, and no one has ever had the gall to try a stunt like this. I would blackball this hotel at once.
The politeness of the staff and the quality of the restaurant
Quiet, clean and comfortable. Supposedly the restaurant should be a gourmet one - looked very good, they have a nice selection of wines. Employee or maybe owner was not properly kind. He seemed snobbish which is actually the wrong attititude towards your customers.
Staff were very helpful & friendly.
The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable. We were treated very well by all, including the hotel's owner. The dining room was beautiful, with antique wood-paneled walls and ceilings. The breakfast buffet had a hug choice of foods. The village of Samedan is also quite charming with cobblestone streets and very old buildings and monuments.
The staff was very friendly, the room was spacious and warm. The breakfast was great.
We were pleasantly surprised when the owner went to pick us up at the train station and even more so when we found out the great gourmet restaurant we did not expect to find in a little hotel in the mountains.
