Pros: host was very nice and kind. also, she cooked all breakfast herself and it was awesome! beautiful interior design and bed was comfy and clean!
Pros: Christine and Steve were excellent hosts. Extremely friendly, lots of information about the local area and Christine's breakfast was excellent with locally sourced produce. We were visiting as part of a short trip before our baby is born and there was even a card wishing us well on the new addition, such a lovely special touch. The private entrance and cheese and crackers that welcomed us was also a nice feature.Would definitely recommend Tivendale.
Pros: The cleanliness. The comfort. The style. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was amazing!!
Pros: The accommodation was very well appointed with a lot of attention to detail. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was lovely. Christine was a wonderful host.
Pros: Incredibly well appointed accommodation - spacious, comfortable and so tastefully decorated. Attention to detail with added extras including bottle of wine on arrival, cheeses, water, chocolates, slippers, gowns...so appreciated and ensured a memorable stay. Chris and Steve are superb hosts, providing an exceptional breakfast and overall outstanding hospitality. Their property is easy walking distance of the lake and short driving distance of many lovely areas.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike- we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Just be aware the accommodation is up a flight of stairs....and as described, is not located directly on the lake or beach, though nothing is far away.
Pros: It was welcoming, relaxing and friendly. We were really spoilt by our lovely host.
Cons: There was nothing not to like
Pros: Christine went big and beyond for my beautiful bridal party. Room was absolutely beautiful. Very clean.
Pros: Our stay was incredible. Christine and Steve went above and beyond. The accomodation is incredible. Easy to find, comfy bed, very clean and amazing breakfast.
Cons: We didn't stay longer
Pros: Christine is a great cook and wonderful hostess....spotlessly clean...comfortable and spacious...air conditioned accommodation....very convenient to many locations in the area.....bottle of wine/cheese and crackers on arrival a nice touch. 10/10...all aspects of our stay. Highly recommend Tivendale. Marilyn and Paul.
Pros: We found our hosts very warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful and well thought out, we loved the small extra touches. Christine is such a beautiful soul and cooks up a wonderful breakfast ❤
Pros: It was just wonderful!!! I travel a lot, and I can say it was the best stay ever! Beautiful peaceful garden, lake with plenty of birds, host Susie even care about food for them, you will find it in your room. Perfect breakfast, love in every design detail, small flowers everywhere. I can’t even explain how good it was, but after this bungalow you hardly can like other places! And what I loved - Susie is high professional massage technician! She is doing Kahuna bodywork (Lomi Lomi) and it helps to recover your body energy. I never had such cool experience before. Yeah, 5 mins away are wonderful cafes and restraints! Highly recommend this place!
Pros: A lovely cute bungalow which is a short walk to the lake. Watching the sunset over the water is beautiful. Better than staying in Newcastle for sure. Will return.
Pros: We absolutely loved our stay here. The bottle of wine on arrival topped off the engagement weekend and made it extra special :)
Pros: We loved everything about our stay at Lakeside bungalow, Susie was lovely and very helpful during our stay where we were at a nearby wedding. Beautiful area and lovely walks, Susie even had milk, bread and a breakfast tray for us. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning on staying there.
Pros: The location and the look and feel of the property. The breakfast pack was a delicious bonus.
Cons: Could not access the internet TV
Pros: Super friendly (but not in your face), informative and generous hosts. Bungalow was modern, private, and had everything we could conceivably need (and which we didn't know we needed) as well as a lot of local information available. Susie, you're wonderful, definitely a super host. The pelicans are pretty neat too! If you want to encounter abundant local marine birdlife, this is the place to be. Huge tray of breakfast ingredients, fresh fruit and a bottle of wine on arrival. Had to stretch a bit to reach the hooks in the bathroom to hang my towel (being short) but other than that, place was perfect.
Cons: Nothing at all.
Pros: Comfortable, peaceful, clean, amazing - thank you.
Pros: Perfect in every way. Clean, comfortable with all the little extras. Sue and Garry were terrific thank you guys, top people...
Pros: Absolutely everything.. was nicely set out and so relaxing..

Pros: It's a very cosy, clean and comfortable unit. There was lots of welcoming touches in the room, and the spa bath was great to relax in. The yard it is located in was pretty and tranquil with a table setting perfect for enjoying the space. Great value for money!
Cons: There was nothing about the property that I can complain about. My only suggestion would be that a small microwave in the room would be very convenient.
Pros: Friendly host Very clean Comfortable bed Loved the spa Cosy
Cons: No cooking facilities or microwave
Cons: Very quiet, good breakfast, central to every thing
Pros: The beautiful garden, secluded location, hospitality and beauty of this area.
Pros: The spa was great n very clean inside tiny unit
Cons: Gardens were very neglected wasnt impressed with bathmat at front door when you walked in. Didnt like how butter was in a container used by all that stay there.. very small inside nowhere to put yr bags n dontlike how the cereal was in conrainers for everyone to use .
Pros: It was quaint , comfortable bed ,very quiet and Kate thought of everything to make it a comfortable stay.
Cons: It was a little small for my taste.
Pros: Was immaculately clean. Beautifully catered for with guests needs and comfort obviously a priority!!
Cons: Bed is a bit small but understandably has to be a double to fit room size. A good nights sleep evaded me cos my 6'5" partner hogged the whole bed.
Pros: Everything was very comfortable & pleasant. We enjoyed the walk around the area, the sunset was spectacular.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, ATM/banking services, and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We were not informed that breakfast was available in a cupboard. Only breakfast not supplied.
Cons: A room information sheet would have been good for us.
Pros: Modern and clean, multiple tvs, family areas, bathrooms, great view (from townhouse 40)
Pros: Great location! On beach and food very close. Loved the walking trails
Cons: We didn’t like that we booked an oceanview and we had the hut all the way at the back and had no view at all. Had another hut/room in front of us. I told the reception and they were fully booked. She was lovely and gave us a bottle of wine. Disappointing that we paid for views tho
Pros: Relaxing, Beautiful
Pros: What a lovely experience!! We booked the ocean view villa and it didn't disappoint. We were treated with sunset skies and full moon reflection on the ocean at night. The villa has everything we needed from rice cooker to glad wrap, disposable plastic forks, olive oil etc. Family friendly and has indoor play centre next to the restaurant. Highly recommended :)
Cons: The reception desk was unattended when I came in for check in on Saturday afternoon. There was no bell to ring, only a notice that says, if the desk is unattended, go to the bar area and contact the staff there. I was with my little boy at the time so that option did not work for me. Had to wait a while to finally be able to get hold of the staff for check in.
Pros: Loved the location. Everything you need at your doorstep. Dinner at the local, and breakie just up the road. Access to the beach great too!
Cons: A little expensive, as only the room was included.
Pros: The location, accommodation, exceeded my expectations, would love to return with my extended family.
Pros: i didnt eat the breakfast location was great most of the staff was friendly.
Cons: I didnt like the fact that the pool was lovely but not heated its a lap pool but you cant swim in it . The overall maintenance was very bad it needs some serious TLC our bedside table and furniture in the room was very tied and stained and dirty. there is a lot of rust gutters are dirty.
Pros: Great location, spacious, good size balcony, sea view.
Cons: Not sure if bed sheets are washed properly as I can see yellow marks. It is good we have brought our own.

Pros: Stayed a few times. Will be back. A place to sleep with a friendly bowlo just up the road. Manager is helpful and welcoming.
Pros: Rooms were comfortable and clean
Cons: We were met with a barrage of rules and restrictions on arrival. No congregating, makeup on pillows will incur a charge etc. I would have thought if linen was laundered appropriately, makeup would wash out. Our key did not work when we arrived back to the hotel that night (around 11pm). The man was prompt to arrive and let us in, but not at all friendly and stared at us until we all went to our rooms. I felt like I was on school camp. We were staying with friends (6 in total) for a wedding nearby. The man operating the hotel treated us like children and made us feel very uncomfortable.
Pros: Bed was comfortable after a long days drive.
Cons: No window to let in fresh air, very small. Thankfully it was only 1 night as we went down for a wedding at summerland.
Pros: Ric, was very friendly and helpful
Cons: Aircon position in room could be better placed

Cons: We could hear the person in the next room, snoring and coughing during the night.

Pros: Staff were very helpful. It was surprisingly quite. Close to where we were going. Clean.
Cons: No tea or coffee facilities in our room. We found a coffee room as we were leaving but we weren’t told about it.
Pros: - Super friendly staffs - Room is clean and spacious - Great location, 5 min drive from beaches
Cons: - No clear indication on hotel check in & out - Couldnt get out from backdoor to hotel carpark when leaving in the morning as pub doors were all locked, need to get out from the front and walk around the block - Pub downstairs, so basically music till midnight - Lights were bright in hallway, there is a transom in each room, so feel like having lights on the entire night - Kids next door start screaming and running in hallway at 6.45am, no one come and stop them - Soft bed and pillow - No hair dryer
Cons: Lack of basic hotel conditions.
Pros: The room that we stay, room 3, 4, & 5...
Cons: The room no. 10
Cons: Difficult to get the water taps in the shower to balance out.
Pros: Nothing met our expectations Dirty Manchester I’ll fitting bathroom door no hanging hooks or robe at all no bedside light no glasses or electric jug Fresh vomit
Cons: Everything re previous comment No toileteries only soap Room not serviced each day

Pros: Photos weren’t of the room we were in.
Cons: Cold showers

Cons: Noisy apartments. Could here everyone in adjoining rooms. No blankets relied on artificial heating which is noisy
Pros: Shower was instantly hot, room was spacious enough for two adults and a child. Location and price were great for our event in Caves Beach. Suitable for overnight stay. Quiet in our room out the back.
Cons: Generally the place is very run down, needs a decent reno. Our room provided only one teaspoon, and no other cutlery despite providing a toaster and being booked for three people. Didnt matter too much as we didnt eat there. Reception smelt very smoky but thankfully room didn't
Pros: Location was the key for me
Cons: No microwave..
Cons: They should have a drop box for keys to be returned

Cons: The lack of cleanliness the neglect of the property the smell and overpriced for what it was. Was offered a better deal for cash which is concerning.

Pros: Location ok.
Cons: No sink stopper. Not enough lighting. Whole place needs upgrading.
Pros: Last time I stayed @ blue Pacific tv reception was bazar and spa pool was renovated, almost two years later spa pool still on renovations,, took ages for hot water in shower to heat up,, noisy people running across corridor all night , I thought I was charged online when I booked the room, my misunderstanding
