Pros: The staff at the check in desk, were super friendly. Kudos to the girls that worked the e afternoon I checked in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and personable and the food was great! They have their own bistro and I was happily surprised by the quality. The rooms are newly remodeled and very clean, comfortable and modern.

Pros: Bed and linens were comfy. Jacuzzi was relaxing. Tv had internet streaming on it which was very convenient.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Love the room!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Would love less chorine in the pool and hot tub. But otherwise nice :)
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was great for what we were in Portland for. Rooms seemed recently updated a bit.
Cons: Room was a little dirty, found lots of hair. Also, the volume on our tv didn’t work so that was frustrating. When you pay that much money everything should be working and clean. Disappointed so wouldn’t stay here again.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Deck slider needs a locking mechanism. Carpet had many cigarette holes/burns.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room layout. Having a balcony to the outside made it feel like a resort. I enjoyed the cafe food, limited in variety yet tasty to the pallet.
Cons: They allowed some guests to park out front in the covered check in canopy area. It made it impossible to navigate for all the other guests. Also, there were groups of disorderly school kids staying throughout the hotel in need of parental supervision.
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff were exceptionally.
Cons: No coffee or tea only what they have in your room. The rooms were very nice but noisy.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room was super clean, staff was beyond helpful and friendly
Cons: Drunk people yelling in the hallways at 2 am, not the best parking lot
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really love Marriott hotels. As a world traveller, Marriott hotels are my favorites. The staff were friendly and nice but could have been better dressed.
Cons: I like to see hotel staff well dressed and professional. The front desk people were very polite and nice, they just looked a bit "rough" to me. The gentleman at the front had long hair and he was nice enough but, more of a "Hotel Six" porter and not a Marriott guest professional. I hope that makes sense.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Terrific breakfast selection with lots of fruit, hot selections, waffle maker, hot and cold cereals. Much better than average choices. The rooms were spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The beds were quite comfortable!
Cons: There was an initial problem with a room mix up for my disabled brother and his attendant, but staff resolved it to everyone's satisfaction. The bathroom tub needed to be re-caulked. There were fan noises coming on at odd times, perhaps from other units.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s always nice and clean and very quiet.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location off the freeway
Cons: This hotel needed updating at least a decade ago. Beds were uncomfortable and linens were stained and old. It was a suite with another unit above us. During the night you could here them above us which sounded like they were in our unit.
7.0 Good
Pros: Room space, fitness room, basketball court
Cons: 1) Jacuzzi was dirty and the water was part of pool water. 2) breakfast buffet was not the Residence Inn standards if comparing with the other ones. Way below... 2 star hotel quality. 3) breakfast buffet hours... 9:00 am. 30 minutes shorter than others.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The unit was very large and very clean with a master suite upstairs with a king sized bed, full sized bath, and large closet. The downstairs room had a queen size bed and full bath. Nice setup with 3 TV’s! The fully equipped kitchen came with utensils and cookware. It was a great place and beautiful.

Pros: Hotel was modern & clean
Cons: Asked at check-in, where's the fresh baked cookies?? Reply: we don't have them, I don't bake!. NOT ONCE during my 3 night stay did any employee say.." good morning". On the check out the staff didn't even ask how was my stay. Ran out of bananas for 2 days?? Fred Myer within a couple of blocks and no staff member could go get some?? I stayed based on 5 star rating but I give this Holiday Inn Express 2 stars.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The bed and pillows were pretty comfortable.
Cons: When we went to get breakfast there was mold on the cinnamon rolls. We were very grossed out. When we tried to go to the hot tub, there was dirt and hair floating in it. Again grossed out. And our shower had the worst pressure ever. Awful!

Pros: Nice modern hotel, good bed
Cons: The pillows were large but "flat". Had 4 of them so would have been nice if they had different types in the room for those with different comfort needs.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Adequate working space for computer and printer.
Cons: On a holiday weekend when premium rates were in effect, they neglected to make up our room one night. When we complained, they generously took $10 off our 3 night stay. Have stayed at this location for 30+ years. We will NOT be back again.

7.5 Good
Pros: We loved the large room, and the pool/spa
4.3 Okay
Pros: Rooms were recently updated and decor was nice.
Cons: Our room was not cleaned three days in a row. Although the clerk promised a break on an extra day we had to call the corporate office when the desk clerk became surly. She continued to be rude until we left. We will never stay there again.
7.5 Good
Pros: The outside is inviting, the rooms are nice, it was quiet
Cons: I did not receive any Holiday Inn rewards points, the room was expensive, there was no water in the room, the breakfast was good but I was hoping for bacon and Belgian waffles.

Pros: The staff was extremely nice and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, cooked to order for omelets. Rest of food is buffet style. Can be difficult to find a seat to eat on weekends. Also a nice free happy hour with snacks and drinks. On site restaurant was handy and quite good. We stay here when we visit family, and it works well for us each time. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Nice to have the separate room for TV and lounging, with a door to close the bedroom area off.
Cons: No complaints.
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The towel racks & toilet paper holder are falling off the wall. Didn't like the sliding doors, one of which didn't have an inside handle which made it difficult to open. 8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent, caring staff.
Cons: There was some noise from the room above us one night but the next night it was fine.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location of this motel is great because it’s so close to I-5. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean.
Cons: The rooms are a little dated.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was spacious and clean. The staff were lovely and kind. Easy check-in check out. Breakfast was varied every day and included a lot of gluten free options. Dishes were real cups, plates, and silverware instead of disposable.
Cons: The vinyl couch in my room was unusably uncomfortable. Bed and office chair were great though. FOX News in the breakfast room was horrific. Please change the channel and stop subjecting your POC guests to the blatant hate that channel spewed out as us while we were just trying to eat breakfast, have coffee and get our day started. We did not pay to be abused by the television during breakfast. There is literally only one channel in this country that is as hateful and evil and for some unknown reason, you are torturing people with it when there are so many other options. Please reconsider forcing your customers of color to receive abuse by your default choice of network in the public areas. I did ask to change the channel, but I should not have to be forced to shield myself from abject displays of fascism at a facility I am paying so much to stay at.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Gluten free options for breakfast. Super nice staff.
Cons: Having the news shouted at me by FOX. Please for the love of everything decent, change the TV to literally ANY other channel!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had the single King room and it was huge. There was a small sofa and a microwave oven and a small refrigerator. And of course it has a coffee maker. And it was very clean. And their location was perfect.
Cons: The only negative is not really a big deal if it's right close to the freeway so you do get some traffic noise.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Across the street from restaurants Olive Garden, Applebees, and a couple more.
Cons: Next to highway but when you are in your room you don’t hear it.
7.5 Good
Pros: The check in was very easy and the staff very nice. The breakfast was good and plentiful.
Cons: The room was very expensive for the value. We did have a dog with us and it was midsummer but $240 for one night adjacent to the interstate was a little too high for our liking.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location, clean room.
Cons: Terrible breakfast selection. Lack of bath soap for shower.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good customer service from the staff. Cleanliness of the entire hotel.
Cons: I appreciate the hotel offering breakfast. There was a variety of foods to choice from. However, the food was not very good. The eggs were tasteless. The potatoes were undercooked and tasted frozen. The waffles were tough. The room was very clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and walking distance to other great eating choices.
Cons: Walking surface around the pool.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Check inn was efficient, desk clerk was friendly. Good thick and comfortable bed, slept good.
Cons: nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: good access to I5

They did everything to ensure that we were comfortable during our stay. They even compensated us with a free drinks! The breakfast was sooo good! it was warm and there were so many choices. It was really an amazing stay.
Cons: We went to use the hot tub but it was cold. They said they just drained it, which i thought was weird being that it was the weekend and there busy time with all the basketball players in town.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the first hotel I have stayed In that has been quiet and the shower and sink didn’t back up A+ for that.
Cons: For a $12.95 breakfast the eggs shouldn’t be runny and the bacon should be crisp and the potatoes should be warm. This was a horrible breakfast. For the quality it should have been a free continental breakfast.

Pros: Breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Room not we’ll appointed, breakfast mediocre.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Right off the freeway but no noise. Convenient to one of best restaurants, Ricardo’s.
Cons: Pillows were too soft. It would be nice if out of the four pillows there was something firmer.
6.5 Good
Cons: There were teenagers running up and down the halls through most of the night. They were loud and laughing and this went on until 4 AM. I got very little sleep. My understanding is these were kids that attended a prom. The hotel should have placed these kids away from guests who wanted to sleep.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location was good and the staff was very helpful
Cons: No fans in the bathrooms and no microwaves or small freezer frig in the room. Also not very soundproof ......floors above and from the halls ...could hear all the steps from guests above and conversations in the hall.

Cons: Nothing that I could remember.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, beautiful grounds.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy and effective comfortable stay. I was particularly impressed with Kristi who went ‘the extra mile’ to look after me.
Cons: I didn’t like the pre-authorisation of blocking my credit card which leaves me the hassle of checking it has been unblocked when I get home. Booking.com should investigate this process as it would put me off using this chain of hotels again.

Pros: I forgot my jewelry, including my diamond ring, and realized it about 2 hours after we left. I called the hotel and they said the cleaner, Lucia, had found it and turned it in. While they did not call me as soon as she turned it in, which would have been very helpful, I am so grateful for Lucia. We stayed a 2nd night, as we could not make our destination in time. Les Schwab workers, Angel, Becky, and Steve, were fabulous. We had a flat tire our first night there. Newburg was a wonderful town!!!
Cons: I wish the front desk had called us as soon as my jewelry was given to them. Also, the Travel Lodge is hard to find. It is off the highway behind a bar and a restaurant. I do not recommend the restaurant, the Black Bear Diner.

Pros: The staff here was the best. They were so friendly and helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was above expectations. Management was friendly and professional. Check in took just a few pleasant moments, and the room was clean and spacious. The pool was spotless. The breakfast offerings went several steps above the banana/ bagel standard. My wife and I were very satisfied.
Cons: Could have had more fresh blackberries ready to pick on the bushes bordering the parking lot! They are delicious!

Pros: This is one of the nicest chain hotels we have stayed at. From the clean and well maintained pool to the comfortable large room, friendly staff and excellent full breakfast everything was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: At booking, we were told no first-floor rooms available, but staff "knew us" as returning (handicapped) customers, and went out of their way to give us a first-floor room. Although it was smaller than usual, it was very comfortable and satisfactory. Kudos to the staff that made this room possible for us!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My son and I came to Newberg for a week long baseball camp this hotel has everything. There is a pool and a hot tub. It is close to the college and shopping...and Dutch BrosIt is very clean, modern and comfortable and the staff are incredibly friendly. I was VERY comfortable there for four days with a 14-year-old teenager! One of the mornings when we went to leave for camp, I realized I had left my keys in my friends car from the night before! I called the front desk and the owner immediately offered to take my son to the camp at GFU. He grabbed his keys and drove him himself! If you want to be comfortable and treated like family stay here!

Pros: Spectacular Room, Top notch hotel. 5 Stars
Cons: Nothing was wrong at all.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location and surroundings were very nice
Cons: The TV was broken
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The facility was great. Very beautiful, loved the architecture, the up to date décor, the service, and the food, Pool & location.
Cons: There were a lot of children, groups for birthday parties, team players, etc. Very loud at the Pool, not enough lounge chairs, our room was over looking the pool which was loud, the service workers should have their own elevator to bring dirty laundry, etc. in, the pillows and bed I thought was cozy but mattress was very uncomfortable to sleep through the night and the pillows were too thick, even the thin ones, no bathroom fan, the fridge and microwave needed to be in its own space in the room and not in dressing area and in front of heater, baby was crying most of the night next to our room, the tv was placed to the side so we had to turn our heads which sounds silly but it hurts after a while. . Some things that could be changed and some that just could not. Loved it other than all this. :)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionally friendly front desk. Perfect location for what I needed to do on this trip.
Cons: The kitchen exhaust entered my AC intake on the 6th/executive level floor. The grill smell was intense. Noise restraint doesn't apply on weekends and my room was above the pool full of noisey kids until 10pm. I had asked for a quiet room. For $250 per night, my room location didn't warrant the rate. I could have turned the AC off and roasted in the 90 degree weather. I could have moved to another room but the hotel was full. Oh well, just another minor inconvenience.

Pros: The restaurant took a while to get our food and we were the only ones in the restaurant. However the steak and turkey club was good. The pillows were not very comfortable and had to keep fluffing and flipping the pillow threw out the night. Great staff, great look, great location.
Cons: See above.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean and the staff was professional and friendly.
Cons: In order to reach the handle to turn on the shower, I had to step into the shower and get hit with a blast of cold water. I absolutely hate the way this is set up. The shower door had an immovable door which was on the shower head side. Very poor design.

Cons: Breakfast did not taste good. Hallways smelled terrible. Thick black curly hair found all over the bedding. Very thin walls.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It looks like the hotel recently renovated the rooms, or at least updated the decor. The room we stayed in had two double beds, and lots of space. It was nicer than the courtyard marriot we had stayed with the night before!
Cons: Could hear children running around in room above ours (thin ceilings)

Pros: It was close to my daughters home. She was moving in and we came to help. I need a dark room to sleep in and hotels have great curtains. (her new home had no curtains.)
Cons: The exercise room did not have air conditioning. It was hot and humid. The staff tried to help but there was no thermostat to adjust. The TV in the exercise room was broken. TV's do not cost much anymore. It should be replaced.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: We've been here several times and most likely will return in the future. Rooms are nice as is the staff.
Cons: The breakfast is good - not great. We partake because it is included in the price but if I had to pay extra I would go somewhere else. I guess the main thing I don't like is the rubbery, flavorless pre-prepared cheese omelets. I have had scrambled eggs at other Hamptons and they are a decidedly better option.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Yes
Cons: No change
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A good breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very clean, comfortable and well located. All public areas are well cared for and updated. We’d stay there sgain.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Rooms were small
8.0 Excellent
Pros: the lobby & breakfast are wonderful here, facilities are easy to us. The hotel is very geared for business travelers & long distance one stay travelers. THE BEDS are very soft & lumpy & uncomfortable...I expect a really really good bed at a hotel that's charging close to 200 usd a night...I believe the consumer should b guaranteed an excellent nights repose fit their money spent.
Cons: the beds. The beds. the beds. I was given a relatively poor excuse for the quality of the bed by the automated concierge that contacts you once you are in suite.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly, congenial and accommodating. Room was cool and comfortable. Good coffee!
Cons: Breakfast was so-so. This not a dig against this particular Hampton Inn because every Hampton we've been to serves up pretty much the same fare. Maybe some scrambled eggs in place of the tired old cheese omelets? The waffle station is quite popular as evidenced by the one family that monopolized it the whole time we were there. Maybe we'll get a waffle next time! Or maybe two waffle irons might be in order.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff at the front desk went above nd beyond.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were positive and pleasant.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Someone's else's blood on my pillow case. ALL THEY WANTED TO DO WAS GIVE ME A NEW PILLOW
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly! It was pretty quiet at night. The rooms were very nice and they had white linens on the bed which is a plus for us! The shower was very nice with glass doors. The room has a nice size TV, refrigerator, and microwave. The breakfast in the morning lasted from 6am-10am which was nice. There was no need to rush. It was very good too. The eggs didnt taste fake and they had a good variety to choose from.
Cons: The beds were really nice but the mattress was a little hard so it hurt my back. The breakfast was also very delicious but it was rather busy and they could definitely use another waffle maker or 2 since they only had one.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hot breakfast and wonderful customer service!
Cons: All night long we could hear the elevator ding from our room.

Pros: The woman who welcomed me to the hotel was wonderful and gave me terrific ideas for what to do the next morning. The room was nice, and I enjoyed my brief stay.
6.3 Good
Pros: Loved the location as it was close to everything we planned to do while in Oregon City
Cons: Didn’t like that no rooms w/2beds or pull out couch would even have sufficed. Also no complimentary anything!! Front lobby at check in could provide water or afternoon happy hour with snacks or light food options or cookies. We asked for upgraded room at check in to have a better view of river but for an additional $60 ($30 a night) room was incredibly small and just not worth over $400 total And the staff was not that accommodating once we chose not to keep the upgraded room- then when we were checked in to our original reservation they put us in the last and furthest away room they possibly could next to freeway and main road- just think they could have definitely done better and we were there mid-week I’m sure other rooms were available
