8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was "quaint". Unfortunately the evening meal was either fish or rabbit, neither of which appealed, so we went looking for an alternative eating place - and discovered there wasn't one in the village. In the end we ate a sort of picnic in our room. The room was down a half-flight of stairs, small but comfortable. The owner was friendly and the continental style breakfast was good. We would stay here again, but would stop to eat before hand. The hotel is only 3 minutes drive before the Somport tunnel, so is ideal for a long journey through France, such as to Dieppe.
Cons: The hotel was difficult to find as it did not have its name prominently displayed. So look for the more prominent sign of a "casa Rural". There is also very limited parking outside the hotel entrance (Enough for 3 cars maximum) However, there is parking about 100 yards away, and we were assured that theft is very rare.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is very convenient for an overnight stop. We had a good evening meal at very reasonable cost.
Cons: Noise insulation is very poor and got woken by guests leaving at 4.00 in morning. Glass door to bathroom was a little unnerving
5.0 Okay
Pros: The owner was very helpful and cooked a tasty evening meal and provided a good continental breakfast. Yes there are issues with the room but for the price ??? On street parking outside the property was a bonus.
Cons: The room was very clean with a good shower. However there was no view and the room didn't have much natural light. Unfortunately there was also a slight smell of damp.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Stopped overnight on drive down through France to Costa Blanca Excellent value for money . Breakfast was included in the price . And as well as toast, ham , cheese fresh orange juice and coffee , home made cake and biscuits were also given The young couple that served us were delightful Defo stop again if driving back that way to the UK
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Located right on Camino de Santiago. Helpful staff, spotless and comfortable room, quiet location, nice breakfast. Owner was helpful in providing us with a very early breakfast option in order for us to set off again early the next day.
Cons: Nothing.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Quirky hotel, comfortable and kind, recommended.
Cons: Bit awkward to find at first. There's nothing else in the immediate vicinity - no bar or restaurant, but that's not an adverse reflection on this hotel or our visit.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable, very friendly host.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beds where very comfy, and the Welcome was great. The food was good in the restaurant.

Pros: The views were lovely
Cons: The bathroom was tiny with the toilet right next to full length window overlooking next doors balcony, the bed was uncomfortable, I ordered salmon in the restaurant at night and just got a plate with salmon & tartare sauce, no veg or potatoes.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We requested a double bed and a quiet room, exactly what they gave us. On seeing the hotel and room I asked if there was a room with a view as they put us in a quiet room at the rear. The man was very nice and gave us a room on the front with an awesome view, it had two queen size beds, also bunk beds and a balcony to the front, really pleased. The breakfast was great value and the evening meal was supurb value and great quality, hot and fast.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay. Mostly I loved the quirky 70s feel of the hotel and our awesome room - we had room 103 which had loads of Windows and a wonderful view of the sun setting and rising on the mountains. Breakfast was pretty good too!
Cons: The sauna isn't a spa, it's one of those saunas for two people that you have to book and they switch on for you. So, if you want a luxury spa treatment - this isn't the hotel!

5.0 Okay
Pros: Very nice kitchen area to use and staff were lovely which shouldn’t go unnoticed
Cons: The bedroom could do with a more thorough clean and removal of smell. We were happy that the bathroom smelt like bleach as it removed the smell of the rest of the room. Mattresses left us in need of a shower.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: This property is great for backpackers and hikers. The were a lot of pilgrims and mountaineers. It does what it says on the tin, no frills, basic, but very clean and an extremely well equipped kitchen! Perfect for a night or two while on the road. The woman at reception was very friendly and forthcoming and we had a very comfortable night. Take into account that it's a real hostel, so only bunkbeds! The surroundings are stunning, I came especially for the station, and it didn't disappoint, the mountains are spectacular and the villagers very friendly. Recommended!!
Cons: Nothing really. It was all very basic and not decorated, and if you want a hotel with all the bells and whistles this is not the place for you. But absolutely wonderful for a no-nonsense night of sleep.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Upgrade to 4personsroom for 2 people by deskperson. Discount in nearby restaurant. Chaotic place but excellent food.
Cons: slightly cramped room

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to canfranc station, easy parking, nice hotel
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was located away from the main road and in a calm and peaceful area. You could hear the running water of the river close by. We had dinner at the restaurant to celebrate a birthday and it was delicious. Even though we had some language barrier which was more comical than frustrating, the overall meal was superb and the staff is very helpful, patient, resourceful and accommodating. If you have some time, take a walk to the railway station where there are some merchants, supermarkets, restaurants and food vendors. The churros was amazing - very light and fluffy. Also, there was an elderly man who was selling roasted sunflower seeds that was very yummy. People are very nice and welcoming.
Cons: There were a few flies in the room but luckily we got rid of them after a while. The room had a bit of a smell which I think is related to the water but we inquired at reception and they gave us some thing to vaporize.

Pros: Stayed in the quadruple room with bunk beds. It was very spacious and well laid out with dual sinks and showers. Bed linen was lovely. General atmosphere in the hotel was great, very relaxed. We enjoyed using the spa facilities and had drinks out on the terrace looking up at the mountains. Breakfast was very good with a wife selection of sweet and savoury food. Can’t wait to return.
Cons: Nothing. It was all good.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything bar the breakfast, it was pretty sparse and not even drinks served at your table.
Cons: As above.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location perfect for us place to park car and trailer easily and a quiet road to walk our dogs. Staff all very pleasant. Had an evening meal which was delicious and three courses were all excellent. The breakfast had an immense selection to cover all tastes, however, nearly missed some things as it is laid out all around the room. Pleased we found the cooked food. Nothing bad to say and look forward to staying again. Bedroom big, clean, quiet and well appointed overlooking the mountains, superb. Liked the rustic and imaginative decor. Very interesting place and for us perfect as not too hot for our dogs when travelling to France. One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in and we have stayed in a lot.
Cons: Nothing perhaps be good if waitress in the morning indicated that the breakfast items are all around the room for unobservant people like me.

Cons: Room: Can't regulate heating in room. Dinner:Starting 20:30. But starting means turn light on and open door. You can only choose from the menue. Not a la carte. Order dinner by booking is 3 euro more expensive than to order in Restaurante. Don't expect good quality food. Breakfast, open up doors at 08:00, but preparations continued until 08:30 If you want to carry on travel, you miss half of breakfast. Breakfast cookies just were taken in when we left. Pros: Convenient for the main road and Somport crossing
Cons: No individual control for the A/C. Had to be done at the front desk so although we asked to lower the temp, the room still was hot. Thought we had a mountain view, but only if you craned your neck. Thought the set menu was disappointing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable beds, clean room, lovely view, excellent variety of breakfast food, sunny patio and beautiful lounge area. But most of all, the main manageress at reception spoke excellent French (and English) and was very jolly and helpful. She seemed to really enjoy her job and to love the beautiful scenery she was in. Staff were very attentive. It was unusually chilly the first night we arrived and I was tired so I was cold. I was given an electric radiator to plug in.
Cons: Croissants were gorgeous when fresh. That’s all I can think of!
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Staff very friendly. Room and bed comfortable breakfast delicious

Pros: Excellent location, perfect for families with young children (table games, friendly food, super understanding staff) and the raclette was fantastic!!.
Cons: The room furnishing was a bit dated. All very clean and child friendly, but no wow factor.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic choice and quality of food for breakfast. Lovely room with nice view to mountains. Staff friendly and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel- second visit as a stopover on a long drive into Spain - found it by accident last year and had to return this year - all of the staff whom we met were friendly and helpful - they remembered us (or rather my young companion!) from last year and were happy to speak to me in French and him in Spanish although their English is also good - rooms very comfortable and the views from the front of the hotel in particular are stunning - balconies well appointed, two double beds and decent sized bathroom with everything required - food (dinner and breakfast) delicious - bar service good and even the weather played ball this time - dry and sunny with atmospheric mists as night drew in
Cons: Impossible to think of anything negative to say - will no doubt return again and also recommend to those who ski - the skiing is almost next door, although the drive up the Col de Somport might be a little difficult in snow (although the cows we met, who think they own the road, cause their own difficulties!)
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing at all
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Quality / price very good. Also very clean. Good food and the staff very kindly and helpful. A good location for winter sports - just 25 /30 min driving to Astun/Candanchu resorts.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Frendly staff
Cons: No heating in the room , only hand towels supplied , no receipt given for cash , noisy until late hours
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Due to the time of year no restaurant or bar open also no Breakfast but a reduction of Ten euros was given as a token. Great place to visit Canfranc Station superb. No complaints will go again.
Cons: not a lot, Parking ?? not a problem
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the shower was good and we could keep the window open. It was really good value.
Cons: The staff left my credit card details on the screen until I asked them to shut it down. There was no indication when booking that the restaurant was closed because of the owners vacation. Because it was on our way, having to walk across to the other part of town to get breakfast did not worry us but it might be a real inconvenience to some guests.
6.8 Good
Cons: I didn't like the fact that this hostal purports to have a restaurant and bar but both were closed for an indefinite period - not just a "day off", but Booking.com didn't tell me about this. I would not have booked into a "room only" establishment but as I only found out about this problem on arrival I had little opportunity to search for alternative accommodation offering bar, evening meal and breakfast
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was beautiful and facilities were sufficient for one night stop-over
Cons: Reception was attended by someone who had little knowledge of booking, and less English than I have Spanish. We booked an evening meal which wasn't served until 9:30pm, we were rushed through an appauling few dishes, some of which were inedible and were left feeling disappointed. We also requested an early breakfast as we had an early start but this was ignored: breakfast was served at 8:45am.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Located at the centre of Villanúa, a lovely mountain village in the Pyrenees. Clean and good value for money. The bar downstairs is one of the most lively ones in the village. A good place to eat some local food.

7.5 Good
Pros: Cozy room awesome view
Cons: No comunal lounge and kitchen
