A quiet beautifully located hotel with unique decor, fabulous views and a great resturant. Out of town but a pleasant walk in along the Camino Route, by rushing rivers and under lovely big trees- a joy.
Mainly good food in the restaurant Sometimes the food wasn't so good. Perhaps a different chef?
This was an overnight stop on our way to Spain. The hotel is conveniently situated near the Somport tunnel. We got the room at a reasonable price. The view from the room was lovely. The restaurant menu, whilst not extensive, was good as was the food itself. The breakfast could have been improved with fresh bread. We got the room at a discount. I don´t think we would have paid the full price for it.
Breakfast would be better. Some times room was not cleaned properly.
The sound of the mountain stream was delightful to fall asleep by. There were many flies on the terrace and even flies in the room and at breakfast. The food both in the evening and at breakfast was what one would expect in a cafeteria rather than a restaurant.
Wonderfully situated in the mountains. Calm. Good restaurant. good infrastructure.
Friendly staff and, being disabled, I was able to easily use the swimming pool
Architecture, surroundings and integration of the hotel in that Tv was not working
the beautifull position and the very kindly and helpful staff
We liked the creative interior design, the comfortable lounge and the truly exceptional food
comfortable rooms, good breakfast
This was a real find - a very comfortable room with its own inbuilt "conservatory" with fantastic mountain views in a very pleasant hotel for just €39, including a good breakfast. There were only about a dozen guests in the whole place, and it amazing that it could be quite so "low season" in a ski lodge situated so close to main summer holiday areas of the Pyrenees.
Quaint old hotel in a ski resort, buffet breakfast was decent. The ski village turns into a ghost town in the summer. The hotel is rated as 3 stars but I would give it 1. The entrance is smelly and mouldy, the hotel needs lots of updating. The room was modernized but not very private, you see and hear everyone all around you. It was over priced for what you got.
The room was quite big and the staff was helpful. The hotel is located very near to the ski chairlifts.
Except for a problem below, the hotel staff were friendly. I read comments on the rooms not being very nice, but I was pleasantly suprised. The hotel is old, but it and our room are in very good shape. The style is more like middle evil meets country ski, and I found it quite charming. Our room was facing the mountain and had a great enclosed terrace. I really found the room very comfortable and was thrilled with the 32¨ flat screen on the wall. The only thing that I did´nt like about the hotel was that when we arrived, we were given very bad and inacurate directions to the parking space that we had paid for. While hunting for the parking area I met another couple from the hotel who were equally lost with the poor instructions. When we got back to the hotels the front desk staff politely but arrogantly told us that it was our fault for not being able to follow directions. Except for the manager (50ish thin man) who was wonderful, the staff had no idea what the inside of the multi-area parking structure even looked like. They continued with their arrogant ignorance even after I had to make a second misguided trip to the parking structure.
a lot of noice in de midlle of the night. The hotel staff didn't do anything about it
Everything. They gave us the possibility to leave the room at 3pm. They would have ski lookers for all the equipment, not only for the skis. They request a deposit of 10€ for the TV remote control.
Breakfast was poor
