the Room was nasty stained carpet and all
Friendly staffgood restaurant close by
cleanliness of the roomcigarette smoke smell in non'smoking room
Friendly staff always!
The price was a little high for the length of time I stayed.
Smoke detector dangling from ceiling, verly unlevel floor, hair in tub drain, elevator smelt like something was burning
Liked having a refrigerator and microwave. Clean sheets and bed was comfortable.
Carpet needs to be replaced. Outdated interior but for the price was perfect.
I'm never happy in a dirty room reguardless how comfortable the bed it.
We stayed here for my son 8th birthday, he had a sleepover with his little sister and a friend. We originally picked this hotel because it has a waffle maker, 1 thing my son requested and also it seemed to have good reviews. First let me start of by saying I have worked for 2 different hotels in the past, so I am used to dealing with customer complaints and things. There was nothing to complain about here. The rooms were very spacious, we had a room with 2 doubles and there was even a comfortable chair and a pullout sofa in there with plenty of room for the kids to roam around. The room was very clean, as well as the hallways and lobby area too. The staff was friendly and helpful. AC worked great, shower was great. Breakfast in the morning was really good too, there were lots of things to choose from and even though it was super busy the wonderful lady that was working was on top of everything and kept it nice and stocked. There really is nothing bad I can say about the Super 8 Canton, there are tons of places to eat and shop near here and good pizza places that deliver. It was worth every penny and we definitely look forward to coming back again. Thank you.
My wife and I reserved a room for our son's graduation--the King Suite because it was all that was available. What a disappointment. I want to be very clear--this is NOT an indictment of the staff, meager as they were. They were friendly and helpful as their time allowed. This is a management problem: 1. We waited ten minutes to be waited on to check in because there was only one person on site to help all of us waiting to do so. 2. Our room, despite the 'nonsmoking' sign, had the aroma of stale smoke. 3. The smoke aroma included our sheets. 4. The carpet was dingy and stained--at first I thought it was a housekeeping issue. It was not! The carpet had been vacuumed well but needed to be replaced if a very thorough steam cleaning could not bring it up to standards. 5. We could clearly hear any and all noise in the hallway, including the ice machine across from our room. 6. At times I thought the ceiling might descend upon us whenever someone on the floor above walked in their room. 7. Washcloths had a thickness only slightly more than tissue. 8. I can say the mattress was comfortable. 9. We have had a similar experience with Super 8 in Bloomington, IN.
I am not a picky person by any stretch of the imagination. A clean room with a bed is really all I require of a hotel. This hotel is so dirty, I can not even begin to describe the bathroom walls. The blankets are more hole than fabric. The elevator is held together with duct tape (not kidding!) and the carpets are beyond words. I feel I need a shower (somewhere else) to get this hotel off me. Eww eww eww. The Canton La Quinta is a much better stay. Not fancy, just clean!
what a treat to have a waffle on a free breakast! hard to eat with plastic and paper so used jam instead of syrup and ate like toast, but still Very good. Kids would like the make it yourself with adult help as griddle hot. nice for change from cold ceral, pastries and juice
